A 79-year-old man with adult T-cell leukaemia/lymphoma (ATL) showed lack of efficacy to multiple treatments including mogamulizumab, cyclophosphamide, doxorubicin, prednisolone, vincristine, carboplatin, etoposide, irinotecan, gemcitabine, and dexamethasone. Despite various courses of chemotherapy and radiation therapy, his disease rapidly progressed, leading to worsened respiratory status. Ultimately, the patient responded positively to valemetostat treatment, resulting in stable disease and improved respiratory function after initial complications. The man remained on valemetostat treatment for 5 months with notable improvements in pleural effusion and laboratory parameters. [Extracted from the article]
