Abstract
- A 47-year-old woman with large B-cell lymphoma developed cytomegalovirus colitis while receiving axicabtagene-ciloleucel treatment. She also experienced lack of efficacy during treatment with cyclophosphamide, doxorubicin, etoposide, prednisone, rituximab, and vincristine. After being refractory to the initial treatment, she received chimeric antigen receptor-T cell (CAR-T) therapy and developed haematochezia with haemodynamic instability. Colonoscopy revealed ulcers and active bleeding, and CMV immunostaining and viral load confirmed cytomegalovirus colitis. Treatment with ganciclovir improved her condition.
