The paper presents the results of studies to determine the optimal conditions for the hydrochlorination reaction of piperylene with concentrated hydrochloric acid. The experiment procedure is described, graphs of piperylene conversion versus reaction time and molar ratio of C5H8:HCl are given. As a result of the studies carried out, optimal conditions for the process were established, as well as technological methods were identified that made it possible to achieve almost complete conversion of piperylene, while minimizing the amount of waste generated. Based on experimental data, a flowchart of the production of 4-chloro-2-pentene was compiled. The proposed flowchart and the results of studies to determine the optimal process parameters can be used as a basis for the development of industrial technology to produce 4-chloro-2-pentene. To address the need for an affordable but high-performance nondestructive testing system for manufacturing industry, PRTDRAN (the Research Center for Radiation Detection and Nuclear Analysis Technology) is developing an X-ray based CT scan system. The CT system under development consists of an X-ray generator, a radioscopy box, and a turntable for the sample. It was built for USD 33,100. The thickest material the CT system can examine is 8 mm for steel and 8 cm for aluminium. The radioscopy box used is based on the principles followed in IAEA Radiation Technology Reports No. 2, but with significant modifications. The camera resolution is 20 megapixels, while an image detector of up to 30 cm × 30 cm size can be accommodated. The position of the camera is adjustable, allowing for the precision needed for use in a CT scanner. The radioscopy box weighs just 30 kg. The CT scanner is housed in a 220 cm × 140 cm × 180 cm housing made of a lead and stainless steel plates. The operation of the system is controlled from a computer in a separate control room, to further improve user safety. Through testing, the system has been found to perform CT imaging and reconstruction well, with pre-reconstruction interpolated basic spatial resolution iSRb of 0.234 mm, while the radiation exposure outside the system did not exceed 0.6 µSv/h at 1 m from the housing. The development of the industrial world continues to experience significant progress, one of the growing industries is the halal food industry. Developing halal food requires the support of Halal Supply Chain Management (HSCM). The implementation of HSCM activities has several risks that can hamper the halal supply chain process directly or indirectly which can harm the company. Some of the risks that can occur in the food industry are the unclear status of the halal raw materials that have been ordered and the raw materials received are contaminated with najis. In order to be able to mitigate and overcome the various risks that arise in the Halal supply chain, efforts should be made to improve the performance of the supply chain by overcoming and preventing various risks. This research aims to measure and improve supply chain performance using the SCOR model. In addition, the House of Risk method is utilized to identify risks the house-of-risk method is used to identify risks that arise in the supply chain process so that appropriate strategies can be developed to manage these risks. There were twelve risk events and seven risk agents identified, which were then incorporated into the development of risk mitigation strategies. Technological developments in the industrial era 4.0 has risen to a new method for the accuracy of the cost estimation process at the tender stage, namely BIM 5D. The application of BIM 5D in construction projects is believed to provide benefits to the cost performance of construction projects. However, every technology and method used has risks that may occur. The purpose of this paper is to identify what risks occur when using BIM 5D. This study uses survey methods, literature studies, and case studies, and then data analysis uses the Delphi method. The results of the study show that there are 8 highest risks in using BIM 5D; Scope of work is not available in a complete and clear manner, Incomplete project information, Error in making work breakdown structure, There is no standardized BIM Deliverable, Lack of collaborative work processes and modeling standards, The use of BIM-based software that is not integrated with each other, Lack of compatibility of the software used, and Inaccuracy in inputting sizes and specifications from 2D images to 5D BIM-based software. The purpose of this research is to find an answer to a very specific question about the fundamental worldview and architectural attitude to the era of mass industrial development as to a huge cultural heritage, including architectural and urban planning one. Extension of the ideology of monument protection to the housing estates of the 1960s and 1980s contains a kind of 'categorical imperative' to develop non-standard approaches to this special morphology, which is completely unknown to the current monuments protection practice. this analysis should be integrated from the beginning with the development of promising programs of architectural and spatial reconstruction and social rehabilitation of these housing estates, as well as with the formation of special, essentially innovative approaches to heritage protection work on such non-traditional objects of documentation and preservation. The article is devoted to the development of competition policy in the Krasnodar Region. An analysis of the competitiveness of the Krasnodar Region has been carried out, the tasks of industrial policy have been considered in the article. To assess the competitiveness of the region, the A.A. Kirillovskaya matrix (revised McKinsey matrix) for assessment of the competitiveness of the region has been used in the article. The analysis showed that in Krasnodar Region there is no leader in the manufacturing industry. The authors have identified industries that shall be developed in the Krasnodar Region, have assessed their state at the present time. Technology has radically changed the global landscape as it affects the way people communicate, learn, and think. At the onset of the fourth industrial revolution, many are inspired to find the formula in becoming a global player in this revolution. Hence, this study was intended to explore the explanatory and prediction factors for global players in the fourth industrial revolution. The main data set used was the PISA 2018 results of the seventy-seven (77) participating countries along with the Reading, Mathematics, and Science areas. Binary logistic regression analysis and discriminant analysis were utilized. Results revealed that the global players of the fourth industrial revolution are generally performing above the average in Reading, Mathematics, and Science as opposed to the non-global players, the odds of a country becoming a global player in the industrial revolution are higher than those who are performing well in the three PISA areas, and the country can be predicted to become a global player if they are highly inclined in Science but less in Reading. The study concluded that the global players in the current industrial revolution considered reading, mathematical, and scientific literacies dire important. But they treated reading as essential and fundamental literacy for them to develop other literacies most especially scientific literacy. The Halal industry is no longer solely a religious concern; rather, it is a lucrative business with a comprehensive framework to capture billions of Muslim markets worldwide. The development of Industrial Revolution 4.0 (IR 4.0) has made better governance for Halal quality assurance. This includes the Halal supply chain, with the adoption of technology such as blockchain, cloud computing, and artificial intelligence (Ai) in the Halal industry structure. However, the Halal supply chain is tarnished with controversial issues that shocked the Muslim community in Malaysia. As a result, academicians and industry players were brought forward for better traceability in the Halal supply chain and assurance pipeline. This rapid scoping review attempts to grasp the state-of-the-art blockchain adoption in the Halal supply chain. The rapid scoping review systems rely on Arksey and O'Malley's work [1]. This study aims to produce an industrial control learning model based on augmented reality in polytechnics to improve students' digital literacy skills in the field of industrial control. The model developed consists of 5 stages, namely: Management, Organization, Digital Literacy, Investigation, and Study Discussion. A wide scale trial design was carried out using a pretest-posttest control group design. The large-scale trials were carried out at the Ujung Pandang State Polytechnic and the Bosowa Polytechnic. The analysis of the results of this development includes the validity and effectiveness of the model being developed. The results showed; (1) The industrial control learning model based on augmented reality at the polytechnic is declared valid according to the experts with an average score of 3.6; (2) The model developed is effective to improve students' digital literacy skills in the field of industrial control, while the n-gain in industrial control knowledge is 0.42 in.the medium category. Based on the results research, it can be concluded that the industrial control learning model based on augmented reality at the polytechnic being developed is feasible to be used to improve digital literacy skills in the field of industrial control. Green productivity is a strategy to increase productivity and preserve the environment and impact social economic development. This research was conducted using the application of the green productivity method to increase the production of mushroom media factories. The main discussion in the mushroom media factory is to accelerate and increase the production of mushrooms. This study aims to apply and implement green productivity methodologies in the mushroom factory industry to overcome and improve existing problems. Green Productivity uses 3 tools related to green productivity, namely material balance, eco mapping. Through the results of material analysis, most of the production waste is wood dust which cannot be reused and also plastic if the mushroom media fails to produce. The production waste is better collected and sold than burned. Through the eco mapping analysis, it is figured out that the area of the milling machine was identified the area of producing the most pieces of wood powder residue. The proposed plant layout using the eco mapping method by considering the factory workflow scheme and the distance between stations. The percentage of electrical energy needs is the largest demand compared to other energy needs such as natural gas, fuel, and coal. This is due to various factors, including population growth, economic growth, industrial development, as well as the rapid development of electricity-based technology in almost every sector, especially in the household, industrial and commercial sectors. This condition has the potential to trigger an electricity crisis, but can be minimized if the required electricity consumption is known. One way to determine electricity demand is to build a predictive model that is accurate and flexible and able to accommodate the complexity of seasonal patterns, both seasonal in months and years as reflected in electricity consumption data. Therefore, in this study, the TBATS model was used to accommodate this. TBATS models will be used which is the development of the exponential smoothing model that can accommodate the occurrence of multiple seasonal patterns, both nested and non-nested, non-integer seasonal periods, and handle the possibility of non-linearity cases because it has a flexible seasonality The results of this study, the TBATS model built has a value of SMAPE by 8.13% has been able to capture fluctuating patterns in seasonal periods. The purpose of this study was to investigate the different modes of design and regeneration of cultural and craft resources. We considered four related factors into frameworks: include protection by industrialization, social innovation, self-reliance protection, and industrial upgrading. After analysis and discussion, we found protection by industrialization and social innovation are different stages of cultural regeneration, whereas self-reliance protection and industrial upgrading are staged strategies for completing the transformation. Due to the different actors and transformation conditions, the strategies and processes of handicraft resource regeneration are different. Local cultural resources are valuable for economic and social development. Actors construct cultural identity through participatory design by using advantageous factors, including local resources, which are a key to the social innovation process. The development of the palm oil downstream industry in the form of the oleochemical industry is one of the potential industries in Indonesia. The industry is supported by the potential of raw materials based on palm oil which is spread in several provinces in Indonesia. Lampung Province is one of the provinces that depends on regional income and exports from palm products. The development of palm oil products such as oleochemicals is important for maintaining the resilience of the oleochemical products supply for hygiene products during the COVID-19 pandemic, such as soap, hand sanitizer, detergent and so on. The demand for oleochemicals is growing by an average of 12% every year. In addition, Indonesia is an oleochemical exporting country with an increasing demand until 3.87 tons in 2020 or US$ 2.57 billion and demand growth by 21% from 2019. However, the development of the oleochemical industry in Lampung Province has not shown a significant increase. The aim of this study is to determine internal and external factors in the oleochemical industry development in Lampung Province. This research is expected to be a guide in determining the direction of strategies and policies for the oleochemical industry development in Lampung. The method used in this research is a literature study to collect factors related to the development of the palm oil industry, surveys and expert interviews. Factor analysis uses decision-making analysis methods by IFE (Internal Factor Evaluation) and EFE (External Factor Evaluation) matrices. The results of the matrix analysis show that the most influential internal factors are the quality and continuity of the quantity of raw materials. The purpose of this research is to develop animation-based learning media and to find out the response of students to the developed media, especially in the face of pandemic conditions and current technological developments. This research method uses research and development (R&D) methods adopted from Borg and Gall by modifying it according to the needs of this research which includes: (1) research and initial information collection; (2) media planning; (3) initial product development; (4) expert validation; (5) product analysis and revision; (6) Field Trial; (7) Final product revision. The results of the Material Expert Validation show the results of the material validity, which are categorized as very valid with a percentage of 85.0%. The results of Ahi Media's validation show the results of media validity of 88.5% which are categorized as very valid. The need of improvement in the Russian Federation electronic industry enterprise competitiveness presents qualitatively new requirements to the instrumental means of economic analysis. To a certain extent, this applies to the problems of factor analysis. The paper suggests a method of using a Box-Jenkins model for possible production factor increment values forecasting. The paper contains interpretation of the results obtained. The proposed instrument of predictive factor analysis can be used in practice to support management decisions dealing with strategic development of industrial enterprises and increasing their economic efficiency. The article deals with the issues of switching to switching to smart-specialization in the Ural region. The authors suggested a conceptual model of regional interaction, making up the core of the innovative regional system, where institutions of higher education are the major participants, providing smart-education; industrial enterprises act as smart-platforms for implementing innovations; the population is the bearer of smart-knowledge, and authorities provide smart-governance, creating a new industrial policy. The suggested model ensures dynamism and flexibility of the innovative regional system, as its participants determine the scientific and technological spheres in which their region is to specialize and create new ways of development of the industrial driver. The authors have concluded, that higher educational establishments must be responsible for the development of new technologies, aimed at solving the problems of industrial enterprises in the region; for generation of ideas, relevant to the region and published to improve the quality of education of the population; as well as obtaining patents for further use by enterprises, society, territories. In order to assess the performance of higher education institutions contributing to the development of smart specialization in the region, the authors have developed evaluation tools and methodologies that identify university innovation activity. The authors' works have been tested on the example of the Ural Federal District, and it has been discovered that Sverdlovsk region has the greatest potential to switch to smart specialization. The authors explain one of the ways to ensure the sustainable development of an industrial enterprise in a dynamic business environment. The solution is to develop an assessment method and tools as well as their application in the context of measuring the effectiveness of the enterprise management system. To achieve these the main approaches to the assessment of the effectiveness of managerial decision-making have been identified and analyzed by the authors. The article provides proof, that the approach towards functional effectiveness of the management system allows to identify problems of management functions implementation, but not to determine the state of developmental sustainability of the enterprise under study. The approach to the assessment of system effectiveness of management allows to identify an incorrect communication of managerial decisions, but not to determine the rate of economic growth of the enterprise. The approach towards the sustainable effectiveness of management allows methodologically not only to identify the potential of the enterprise, but to strengthen it as well and this, in practice, will ensure the long-term development of business in a dynamic external environment. The authors, therefore, suggest developing the final approach and provide new assessment tools for enterprise management subsystems along with the methodology, allowing to determine target sustainability of a management system that contributes to even development of an enterprise in all spheres of its activity. A new approach to the problem of odometric positioning of a mining machine under the ground is proposed. As a technical solution to the task, the use of BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) technology is proposed. Bluetooth beacons will be dropped as the combine moves. A sensor attached to the back of the transfer hopper will measure the distance to the nearest beacon. A model is created that simulates random speeds of the combine's movement on sections of random length. Random dispersion when dropping Bluetooth beacons is simulated. To generate sensor measurements, an algorithm is being developed that takes into account the increase in the error of readings when moving away from the nearest dropped beacon. To process the simulated measurements and correctly determine the distance, the Kalman filtering algorithm is used. The proposed approach and the created simulation model allow, with a given degree of accuracy, to determine and predict the distance to the mining machine during the development of industrial seams. The number of particle accelerators worldwide increases in the order of above 10,000 units every decade, while only very small numbers have been built in Indonesia. This fact spurs a need of a comprehensive analysis of the cause. A review is urgently required to obtain the right direction of the research & development (R&D) program policy which should be in line with the world development trend and the user demand. The program should also produce outcomes and impacts which capable to spread and increase the accelerator applications with high local content. This paper describes a brief analysis of the R&D program policy of particle accelerator in Indonesia. The gaps between the world development and the research, development, and application of accelerators in Indonesia are reviewed. The capacity of an institution responsible for accelerator R&D is evaluated. Three indicators, namely sourcing and absorptive capacity, R&D capacity, and disseminating capacity are used as the evaluation parameters. The review results indicate that Indonesia was failed to anticipate the increased demand for medical accelerators and there was budgeting inconsistency in supporting the development of industrial accelerators. Moreover, the evaluation results of the three indicators come to suggestions that Indonesia still needs to strengthen the sourcing & absorptive capacity as well as the R&D capacity, and to improve the disseminating capacity. Energy demand has increased due to the development of industrialization and urbanization. As a result, renewable energy sources satisfy the energy demand of human, social and economic development since fossil fuels are limited in natural resources and causing global warming in the environment. In current scenarios, scientists worldwide focus on renewable energy sources like solar, biomass, wind, hydropower, geothermal, etc. Consequently, developing countries are run-down in conventional fossil fuel resources and import them from other countries. A decentralized stand-alone solar system installed in rural areas is a technically feasible solution to overcome the issues. Solar energy system offers many merits in producing electricity since it has zero fuel cost and zero-emission of carbon dioxide (CO2) - greenhouse gas (GHG) into the atmosphere. In the conditions of industrial social development, a man-made environment (the technosphere) enlarges, while the biosphere and its biological processes are being transformed in the anthropogenic way, and as a result, this technogenic reality of life, in which a person exists, is being formed. The accelerated expansion of the technosphere requires not only Cyclopean depleting of natural resources, but makes a man apply himself fully-extended both physically and psycho-emotionally, causing certain difficulties in his adaptation and socialization profession-wide, including such an innovative science-intensive industry as railways. Modern education system does not correct such processes, contributing to repressing of personal enhancement, and prevents marshalling of the individual's resources in the struggle for the preservation of biosphere life and natural habitat. Therefore, the problem of the need of modern education resources identification together with the development of its new philosophical growth strategy based on the potential of social pedagogy aimed at the full adaptation and socialization of a person in the technogenic reality of life, both physically tangible and virtual has been raised in the study. Along with industrial development especially in oil and gas sector, growth of gas flaring as a side effect of the process is also increased, this has led to problems to global climate changes due to CO2 emissions. The reduction of associated gas flaring should be done because it still has added value by applying the right technology. The paper presents a techno-economic assessment of small-scale associated gas flaring on a flow station platform to find the best recovery option. The proposed recovery options are power generation, mini LNG and mini GTL. An assessment is carried out by process simulation of the options and cash flow method. The results show that first option provides 13 million kWh/year of electricity and second option gives 20 tpd of LNG, last option produces 80 bpd of synthetic crude. Power generation requires lowest CAPEX and provides highest IRR 30.12% with NPV 4.2 million USD. India being the youngest nation in terms of human resources is still grappling with the challenge of skilling 109 million across 24 sectors by 2022. Only 4.69 % have undergone formal training. The present capacity to train stands at 3.4 million people per year while over 12 million people join the workforce annually. A little over 92 per cent of our workforce is engaged in unorganized labour. The beginnings are made but there are inadequacies and gaps existing in the Skilling implementation process which hamper the speed and impact of skilling mechanism in the Country and consequently the low industrial growth. The current paper is a case study of Sikkim which attempts to examine the differences in the perceptions of various stakeholders against a few glaring inadequacies and gaps in the execution of skilling mechanism in the State. These inadequacies are-inadequate information on availability of skill courses to the trainees, lack of clarity on eligibility criteria, employment avenues and training centers, absence of documentation information and other formalities. These were highlighted in a focus group discussion which was conducted in 2016 in the Directorate of Capacity Building Skill State Department with representatives of the various stakeholders before undertaking a conclusive study to highlight differences across stake-holders in priority of identified inadequacies. In this study, an evaluation index system for the development of three rural industrial integrations has been built; the entropy weight method was used to measure the development level of the three rural industries in Sichuan Province. The result indicates that from 2009 to 2018, the comprehensive score of the three industrial integration development levels in rural areas of Sichuan Province has increased year by year. In addition, there are large differences in the specific scores of each dimension, among which urban-rural integration is developing rapidly, and the agricultural multi-functional expansion dimension is slightly insufficient. In conclusion, to promote the development of the integration of the three industries in rural Sichuan, we should vigorously develop ecological farming agriculture, remove funding restrictions, and strengthen related supporting construction. Textile and garment industry is one of the most important industries in the world. In Indonesia, the textile and garment industry is one of ten industries prioritized from the 2015-2035 Nation Industrial Development Master Plan (RIPIN). Job characteristics in the garment industry are generally material-handling processes and processes involving machinery that have high repetition that can cause Work-related Musculoskeletal Disorder (WMSD). WMSD is one of the biggest occupational health problems nowadays. In this research, workers of the screen printing division of garment industry Small Medium Enterprise (SME) has the highest risk in one of the SME in Jakarta. The workers were evaluated for their working postures using a posture evaluation index in a virtual environment in Jack simulation. The result shows that the worker has low injury to middle-low injury and middle-low injury to middle-high injury risk from their working postures. The repetitiveness of the work due to the high demand of the products, while there are only five workers available in the division and the awkward position of the workers while doing their work, is the cause of the probability of WMSD. Rapid population growth and active industrial development create many toxic wastes that converge in the environment. Some toxic components found in the environment include Cadmium (Cd), Copper (Cu), Mercury (Hg), and Lead (Pb). Adsorption application technology has now been developed using biomass from micro-organisms plants that are identified as bio-removal. Bio-removal is one alternative method used as the absorption of heavy metals. The purpose of this study is to adsorb heavy metals based on the bio-removal way. This study test the use of bio-removal method limited to pH variable (pH: 5,7,9). Bio-removal was made from biomass of sago stem waste which prepared in two steps, i.e., carbonation (250-400 ̊C) and activation (700 ̊C). The analysis resulted that the utilization of the bio-removal method as heavy metal adsorption can reduce each intensity of heavy metals in the environment. Due to the intensive industrial development, there is an increasing need for timely and reliable diagnosis of critical constructions, particularly pipelines. The analysis of the stress-strain state of pipelines, including their welds, is an urgent task, since the existing residual stress gradients in the weld affect sustainably its strength. The object of the study was a welded OCTG pipe made of 13CrVA steel with the increased resistance in corrosive environments. Welded joint was obtained by the induction welding technique, a feature of which is an extremely narrow weld. This circumstance makes it difficult to control residual stresses in such welds by widely used X-ray analysis methods. The method of EBSD analysis was used to qualitatively estimate the residual stresses in individual grains of metal in different zones of the welded pipe. It is shown that there is a qualitative correspondence of the obtained results with a standardized X-ray structural analysis method. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Planar micro-tracking concentrator photovoltaic modules hold great promises, as they enable the combination of efficiencies greater than 30% with the form factor of conventional rooftop panels operating at fixed tilt. Over the past three years, Insolight has been developing a fixed-tilt system, combining a biconvex silicone lens array, high efficiency multi-junction cells and integrated micro-tracking. A first prototype built in 2016 was validated with a peak conversion efficiency of 36.4 %. On the path towards industrialization of the systems, we present the evolution from the first lab prototype to fully automated panels featuring several thousands cells, installed on a rooftop pilot site. Continuous operation and data logging of the outdoor installation over a year enable us to validate a simple and robust integrated micro-tracking scheme. Recent measurements showed a module efficiency of 29% at concentrated standard test conditions. Different hybrid PV-CPV architectures are under evaluation for the capture of global irradiance.
