Analysis of competitive capability of the Krasnodar Region.

The article is devoted to the development of competition policy in the Krasnodar Region. An analysis of the competitiveness of the Krasnodar Region has been carried out, the tasks of industrial policy have been considered in the article. To assess the competitiveness of the region, the A.A. Kirillovskaya matrix (revised McKinsey matrix) for assessment of the competitiveness of the region has been used in the article. The analysis showed that in Krasnodar Region there is no leader in the manufacturing industry. The authors have identified industries that shall be developed in the Krasnodar Region, have assessed their state at the present time. Recommendations for increasing the competitiveness of the region (attraction of investments, public-private partnerships, use of marketing tools, development of specialized industrial agglomerations) are developed in the article.
