In today's emerging world of technology, the combination of Mobile Cloud Computing (MCC) Edge Computing (EC) and Fog Computing (FC) is pouring innovation and change. These interrelated technologies provide a mechanism for addressing the challenges brought by the growing use of devices, apps and services. Mobile Cloud Computing serves as a link between cloud systems and mobile devices overpowering the limitations these devices face. Edge Computing takes computational resources closer to users for real time data processing while Fog Computing seamlessly blends localized processing with cloud capabilities. This study probes into how MCC, EC and FC work discovering where they interconnect and enhance each other. It discusses how these technologies improve resource management, streamline data processing and boost service delivery to enrich user experiences and enable applications. Acknowledging the importance of MCC, EC and FC are crucial for researchers and professionals to influence their combined strength in expanding computing efficiency and innovation while addressing issues like data security in Fog Computing. The paper will be structured in specific sections focusing on the principles, architecture, applications, challenges and future directions of MCC, EC and FC to provide a comprehensive understanding of their interactions.
