The paper presents the finite element modeling of the spatial heat transfer to identify the temperature and the heat flux distributions both in the linear and point thermal bridges in various up-to-date wall systems. The paper considers the spatial heat transfer in the corner zone of the brickwork fragment. The ANSYS finite element program is used for the numerical simulation of the temperature fields and thermal fluxes for the brickwork connection with a hollow-core slab and a balcony slab. The influence of hollow cores in the floor slab is considered in relation to the temperature behavior along the inner surface of the brickwork fragment. To eliminate the negative effect from thermal bridging, it is suggested to increase the temperature on this inner surface. The brickwork thermal properties are investigated herein.
