Abstract

The paper presents the influence of dynamics of temperature field on three-layered annular plate with elastic and viscoelastic core. Plate is mechanically loaded in the plane of facings on outer perimeter with the forces quickly increasing in time. Temperature field is determined by the temperature difference between the plate edges, which increases in time with the adopted value of thermal rate. Problem is solved analytically and numerically using the approximation methods: orthogonalization and finite difference. To compare the plate reactions the model built in finite element method has been examined, too. Presented results show the meaning of the dynamic parameters of both mechanical loading and thermal field on the plate respond. The direction of the gradient of temperature difference causes the increase and decrease in values of critical plate parameters and can be the means of controlling of plate work in dynamic conditions.
