This article summarized the nursing practice of an elderly patient with dermatomyositis complicated by dysphagia and malnutrition. A comprehensive risk assessment on dysphagia and nutritional status was conducted before treatment. A personalized rehabilitation plan consisting of nutrition support, skin care, medication guidance, prevention and treatment of complications and mental health was formulated to relieve the dysphagia symptoms and improve the recovery of the patient. This paper summarized the Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM) characteristic nursing of a case of cetuximab-induced facial rash. Based on the syndrome differentiation, TCM characteristic nursing interventions including TCM medication, auricular acupoint pressing, TCM spray, TCM aerosols were carried out, in combination of skin care, sleep guidance, nutrition support and emotion care, in order to relieve the skin rash and pain, improve the healing of skin damage and ensure the smooth progress of chemotherapy. Objective To investigate the effect of aspirin in relieving skin rashes induced by epidermal growth factor receptor-tyrosine kinase inhibitor (EGFR-TKI) in mice and the possible mechanism. Methods Fifty male Balb/c mice were randomly divided into the control group, model group, and high-dose, medium-dose, and low-dose aspirin groups, with 10 mice in each group. The skin rash models were established by administering the EGFR-TKI erlotinib to the mice in all the groups except the control group. After successful modeling, the mice in the high-, medium-, and low-dose aspirin groups were given aspirin at doses of 1. 13, 0. 75, and 0. 38 mg per mouse, respectively, while the mice in the control group were given distilled water at 100 mg/kg, all by gavage, once a day, for a total of 30 days. All the mice were monitored for feeding, drinking, urination, defecation, and mental status as well as pruritus and other skin conditions. The skin moisture level was measured using a skin moisture analyzer, and skin inflammation was scored. After the mice were sacrificed, the back skin was taken for observing the pathological changes with HE staining, and serum levels of tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) and interleukin-1β (IL-1β) were determined by ELISA. Results In the control group, the skin and general conditions were normal; the mice in the model and low-dose aspirin groups developed skin rashes, scabs, and desquamation on the back, and began to have reduced food intake, increased water intake, increased urination, and reduced defecation since the first week, accompanied by anxiety and back scratching; compared with the model group, the medium- and high-dose aspirin groups showed significant improvements in skin rashes, scabs, and desquamation, and gradually returned to normal dieting since the second week. Only the model group had mild pruritus, while the other groups did not have any pruritus. No abnormal changes were found in any epidermal layer of the skin tissues in the control group; the model group showed epidermal thickening and substantial inflammatory cell infiltration in the dermis; the high dose and medium-dose aspirin groups showed slight epidermal thickening and mild inflammatory cell infiltration in the superficial dermis, while the low-dose aspirin group had a larger number of inflammatory cells in the superficial dermis; the levels of inflammation in the three aspirin groups were all lower than that in the model group. There was no significant difference in the skin moisture level between the groups (P<0. 05). The rash site, desquamation, exudation, skin thickening score, and serum levels of TNF-α and IL-1β were as follows： the control group < the high-dose aspirin group < the medium dose aspirin group < the low-dose aspirin group and model group (all P<0. 05). Conclusion Aspirin can alleviate EGFR-TKI-induced skin rashes in mice, possibly through reducing serum TNF-α and IL-1β levels and thereby inhibiting inflammatory response. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This paper reviewed the clinical data of a young adult patient with acne of dampness-heat of spleen and stomach type treated by auricular acupoint sticking-pressing and ear-apex bloodletting therapy, and related nursing measures were summarized. The etiology and pathogenesis of dampness-heat of spleen and stomach, acupoint selection principles and operation method of auricular acupoint treatment were described. A typical case was analyzed to prove the effectiveness and safety of auricular acupoint sticking-pressing and ear-apex bloodletting therapy in the treatment of acne of dampness-heat of spleen and stomach. The auricular acupoint treatment is simple to use and well-accepted for young adult patients. This article reviewed the nursing management and related nosocomial infection prevention and control measures for a diabetic patient with Norwegian scabies. Given the strong infectiousness of Norwegian scabies, it is required to activate the contingency plan for nosocomial outbreak prevention and control. Hospital isolation and standard precautions were conducted immediately after diagnosis. An enhanced specialist care was carried out, including medication care, skin care, psychological care and social support. Objective To investigate the effect of blood-letting acupuncture and cupping therapy in the treatment of herpes zoster. Methods Totally 60 cases of herpes zoster patients admitted to our department between October 2020 and June 2021 were selected and randomly divided into observation group and control group, 30 cases in each group. The control group was given conventional western medicine treatment, and the observation group was given blood-letting acupuncture and cupping therapy on the basis of the control group. The improvement of pain and rash symptom was assessed and compared between the two groups. Epidermal growth factor receptor inhibitors(EGFRIs) improve the survival rate of patients with EGFR-mutated non-small cell lung cancer significantly, but may simutaneously cause a series of adverse dermatological events. In traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) theory, EGFRIs could be classified as of dryness-heat nature that injures yin, therefore the adverse dermatological events are caused by heat-toxin of EGFRIs. Heat underpins the whole process of EGFR-mutated non-small cell lung cancer, and the disease location is the lung. The whole course of the disease can be divided into three stages, including wind-heat pattern combined with dampness-heat at the initial stage, yin deficiency and blood dryness pattern at the middle stage, and pattern of dual yin-yang deficiency at the advanced stage. Therefore, in the treatment of EGFRIs-related adverse dermatological events, on the basis of clearing heat, the therapeutic method differ in different stages, i. e. dispelling wind and eliminating dampness, nourishing yin and blood, as well as nourishing the spleen and kidney at the initial, middle, and advanced stages respectively. This paper analyzed the clinical data of 5 patients with skin rash caused by pegylated interferon α-2a combined with ribavirin therapy of chronic viral hepatitis C. According to the clinical symptoms, patients were given internal administration of Chinese herbal medicine decoction combined with external wash of Chinese herbal medicine decoction. Comprehensive interventions including skin care, infection prevention, nutrition support and psychological nursing were carried out during the treatment. Objective: To analyze the clinical efficacy of compound honeysuckle decoction hot and humid joint fusidic acid cream in the treatment of targeted drugs-induced rash. Methods: 80 cases of patients with targeted drugs-induced rash admitted in our hospitalfrom August 2014 to August 2016 were selected and divided into two groups with 40 cases in each group according to the drawing method. The control group was treated by fusidic acid cream, while the observation group was treated by compound honeysuckle decoction hot and humid joint fusidic acid cream, the changes of symptom score, quality of life after treatment, clinical efficacy and incidence of adverse reactions were compared between two groups. Results: After treatment, the symptoms score of observation group ((6.87± 1.25) points) was lower than that of the control group ((10.29± 2.74) points)(P＜0.05), the quality of life score ((3.15± 0.57)points) of observation group was lower than that of the control group ((6.42± 1.20) points)(P＜0.05). The effective rate of observation group(95.00％) was higher than that of the control group(77.50％)(P＜0.05), no statistical difference was found in the incidence of adverse reactions was observed between two groups (P＞0.05). Conclusion: Compound honeysuckle decoction hot and humid joint fusidic acid cream was effective in the treatment of targeted drugs-induced rash, it could effectively relieve the clinical symptoms, improve the quality of life. Objective: To identify the allergic drugs in the treatment of a patient with aggravating allergies after using multiple drugs in sequence. Methods: Evidence-based analysis was used to evaluate rational medication in the treatment of the patient，so as to identify the allergic drugs and reasons. Results: The confirmed allergic drugs were in sequence: troxerutin and cerebroprotein hydrolysate injection，edaravone injection，atorvastatin calcium tablets. The suspicious drug that aggravated allergy was deproteinized calf blood serum injection，and cross allergy was the main cause of allergy. Objective: To explore new access for clinical pharmacists in the Department of Neurology，offer pharmaceutical care for multiple sclerosis （MS） patients treated with glucocorticoid，and promote rational medication of glucocorticoid clinically. Methods: Through direct involvement in the process of diagnosis and treatment of MS patients，clinical pharmacists performed pharmaceutical monitoring in the application of glucocorticoid，summarized and established the mode of pharmaceutical monitoring for such kind of patients，and more importantly evaluate the practical application of the drug in typical cases. Results: In pharmaceutical care for the patients with MS treated with glucocorticoid，clinical pharmacists could play an important role in the recognition of indications，the selection of drugs，as well as the determination of drug dosage and administration，thus enhancing the safety and efficacy of glucocorticoid，and facilitating clinical pharmacists to have another supplementary method of pharmaceutical care in the Department of Neurology. Conclusion: In the treatment of the disease，MS patients consumed a large amount of glucocorticoid，which required special pharmaceutical monitoring. 目的 总结珍菊降压片致急性间质性肾炎的诊断及治疗方法。方法 对1例珍菊降压片致急性间质性肾炎患者的临床资料进行回顾性分析。结果 患者服用珍菊降压片后出现肌酐升高、皮疹、嗜酸性粒细胞增多,骨髓细胞学检查未见异常,超声检查显示双肾弥漫性肾实质损害声像图,血清免疫球蛋白E1 4 190.00 IU/mL,肌酐816μmol/L。结论 珍菊降压片致急性间质性肾炎患者临床表现为服用珍菊降压片后出现皮疹,嗜酸性粒细胞升高,肌酐明显升高,超声显示肾脏病变;根据临床表现和实验室检查指标并结合用药史可确诊。 [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

OBJECTIVE: To investigate the regulations and characteristics of adverse drug reactions (ADRs) induced by targeted anti-tumor drugs erlotinib. METHODS: The clinical pharmacists participated in the treatment of non-small cell lung cancer patients with skin rash induced by oral erlotinib, analyzed the therapeutic regimen of anti-tumor drugs, monitoring and control of ADRs, and evaluated the incidence of skin rash induced by anti-tumor drugs after administration. RESULTS & CONCLUSIONS: Through the pharmaceutical knowledge combined with pharmacokinetics of anti-tumor drugs, the clinical pharmacists participated in the therapeutic regimen of skin rash induced by oral erlotinib, assisted the clinicians to formulate rational therapeutic regimen,and communicated with the patients about the pharmaceutical knowledge, attention of rational drug use and provision of ADRs.
