Additionally, the name "Marie" is also in relief on the projectile. The relief artistic technique refers to when the background of a material such as stone, ivory, or metal is sunk to make the foreground protrude. Most of the projectile is decorated with a technique called "pebbling" which is when the surface is decorated with indentations. The lamp is missing a light bulb socket and electrical cord.

- Abstract
This letter opener, or possibly a knife, has a handle made from an 8 mm rifle bullet and its accompanying projectile. The size and physical characteristics of the cartridge suggest that it is an 8 mm Lebel, and its headstamp indicates that it was manufactured in 1913 by the Ecole Centrale de Pyrotechnie located in Bourges, France. One side of the cartridge features a crown appliqué. The blade appears to have been soldered onto the bullet projectile, and has a small guard near the handle made of the same section of metal as the blade. The blade itself is curved, and features a star- or crescent-shaped cutout at its widest part. The blade features engraved designs and the inscription, "CHATEAU-THIERRY", likely referring to the 1918 Battle of Château-Thierry.

Horse brush is made of wood, with stiff bristles; this type is also known as a dandy brush. The bristles are primarily black, with light brown bristles forming a rough cross shape in the center. The back of the brush has been carved to reveal the raised inscription, "EMLÉK HADIFOGSÁGOMBOL 19 AM 15" in the center. The "A" and "M" are intertwined and may be a monogram. A rough translation from Hungarian to English could be: "Souvenir of captivity" or "Memory of captivity". The inscription, "SZIBÉRIA" has been carved sideways to the left, and "NISCHNY-UDINSK" carved sideways to the right. These are both Russian place names, primarily known as "Siberia" and "Nizhneudinsk" in English.

- Abstract
The bottom of this mess kit (also known as a meat can), is most likely from a Model 1910, and made of aluminum. The bottom part of a mess kit was used for cooking, and has a hinged handle that could be unfolded to hold the pan over a fire. There are what appears to be manufacturer's numbers on the handle, although they are only partially legible: "1798881" and "40K48". There is also a very faint "U.S." stamp on the end of the handle. This is where the date of manufacture and manufacturer's name would be marked as well, which is suggested by faint, non-discernible markings. The bottom of the pan is filled with engraved words and images; at the top is inscribed, "U.S.A" next to a star and crescent (a symbol of the Ottoman Empire and on the Ottoman flag during World War I) and an Iron Cross. Underneath is inscribed, " F. BAYER", presumably the artist and owner of the mess kit, and then three lines: "16.TH. ENGRS. CON'S. Go. A.", "14.TH. ENGRS. R.Y. GO.D. A.E.F.", and "122TH. ENGRS. PROVS. BATTN.". These inscriptions seem to refer to World War I units that were involved with standard gauge railway operation and construction.
