For the effective management of biological resources, in particular game animals, it is necessary to accurately determine the boundaries of hunting grounds. But at present they are installed incorrectly and are subject to distortion. The purpose of the work is to determine the exact boundaries of the hunting grounds of the territory, as well as the coordinates of animal counting routes using geoformation systems (GIS) and specialized software. In the course of the work, the exact boundaries of hunting grounds specially protected natural areas of one of the regions of the Kemerovo region – Kuzbass (Russia) were obtained, errors in the documents on the hunting economy were corrected. The correspondence of the boundaries to permanent stable spatial landmarks is ensured. The exact establishment of boundaries eliminates conflicts between participants in the hunting economy, allow you to more accurately account for the number of animals and plan prey. Incorrect routes were also identified for accounting for the number of animals in the tracks for their subsequent correction. The study shows how digital technologies allow more efficient management of hunting management processes. The results are of interest to players in the hunting sector and authorities responsible for managing animal populations. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
