The article reports on the decision of Boeing to change its strategy to continue with tenuous C-17 airlifter production from building fewer airframes annually to reducing costs. Boeing is expected to benefit from unhappy customers facing delayed deliveries of the A400M built by EADS. International customers of the C-17 include Great Britain with six aircraft orders, Australia and Canada, each signing up for four, and NATO, buying three, the author said.
