This study reveals the methodological experience of engaging Master’s students in Public Administration (in civil protection) in the debate in the process of learning English for Specific Purposes and attempts to test the effectiveness of this approach based on the results of observations and sections on feedback from the participants of the educational process. The suggested training model is focused on engaging students in debates on such topics as «Are computer technologies in civil protection «a God-given gift» or «God’s punishment»? «Ecology of Thought – how to find the right balance?», «State policy in eco-safety ‒ advantages and disadvantages», «We are what we eat ‒ myth or reality?» accompanied by using the following types of the exercise: Think-Pair-Share, Write-Pair-Share, Odd-one-out, «Treasure Hunt» quest, case study, and One Minute Paper. To study the perceptions of the debates accompanied by the exercises listed above, by students of the aforementioned specialties, we assigned to do a written online survey asking them to evaluate the content of the debate-based course, the usefulness of the preparatory exercises, and to express their overall impression of such a model compared to the traditional model of studying the discipline of English for Specific Purposes. It has been found out that the model of teaching English for Specific Purposes to Master’s students in Public Administration (in civil protection) by engaging them in debates has demonstrated its effectiveness. This is evidenced by the results of our observations, surveys and feedback from the participants of the educational process. We see a further perspective for the study of this problem in the development of methodological support for the above model implementation.

General Medicine - Abstract
Nowadays, students are future professionals, and they can choose a research activity. Modern students need to know the peculiarities of the scientific research organization because the future of science depends on their level of knowledge. In the process of studying, university students master the discipline “Methods and organization of scientific research”. In the context of this discipline, they learn to think scientifically, acquire new knowledge while writing term papers and dissertations, master scientific methods. The study of the discipline also involves the assimilation of scientific terms. Such terms are, in particular, method and methodology. The article demonstrates the contradictory views of scientists on the concept of methodology. It is confirmed that the concept of methodology is not fully clarified, and students often cannot distinguish between the concepts of a method and methodology. The purpose of the article is to explain the concept of methodology. The essence of the concept of methodology as a doctrine of methods, as well as a system of methods is substantiated. The paper also explains the relevance of the methodology for practical activities related to modern technologies, such as social communications, and justifies the importance of the methodology for science. Scientific knowledge is based on philosophical, general scientific, interdisciplinary and special methodology. In the article the methodology of science, the methodology of scientific research and the methodology of scientific activity are considered as synonyms; we have also argued that the notions approach, technique, method and manner are synonymous. A small comparison of science and philosophy is made, that determines the role of philosophical methodology for science and explains the role of a new philosophical synergetic worldview for the development of science. The article is dominated by the view of the expediency of modern methodological pluralism. Keywords: science; philosophy; methodology; method; synergetic; methodological pluralism; knowledge; scientific research.

This paper presents an analysis of issues of contemporary processes related to global higher education dynamics. The paper is based on the analysis of research results of well-known researchers of global higher education reality, as well as on the author’s own research results within the Erasmus program. It states that new aspects of the mission of a university as an institution were added to such aspects as research, teaching and service, in accordance with social requirements. It also reveals that the concept of the world-class research university of the XXI century of Prof. P. Altbach and the model of the entrepreneurial university of Prof. B. Clark, which work in the conditions of growing competition between higher education, represent a new world higher education reality in the early XXI century. The paper reveals that the global market of higher education services has been established as an instrument of higher education changes. In this context, the traditional providers of educational services and the “new providers” compete for or complement the supply. The paper shows that the traditional providers of educational services are public and private universities. It emphasizes that University has become only one of the actors in the new “knowledge business” nowadays and discusses that recently we have witnessed the emergence of new types of higher education providers. The paper considers the emergence of new providers of higher education as indicators of the direction of higher education dynamics in the immediate future. These “new providers” include corporate universities, virtual universities and online courses, a certification system of competence in computer technology, commercial IT and media companies, networks of professional associations, national or international research networks, international conglomerates and consortia, and publishers, who are designing and delivering course materials, sometimes in partnership with universities. It is highlighted that to operate and develop in current higher education dynamics, universities should simultaneously compete, positioning themselves, and cooperate, overcoming obstacles by joint efforts with partners. Keywords: higher education; higher education dynamics; market of higher education services; internationalization; World-class research university; entrepreneurial university; corporate university; virtual university; mixed mode training called Hybrid; providers of educational services.

General Medicine - Abstract
This research paper is devoted to the clarification of mechanisms of correlation that function in the language and cognition. The study has been conducted on varied language material with the consideration of the level structure of modern linguistics, particularly phonetic, morphemic, lexical, morphological, syntactical levels. In this paper, we used the method of theoretical analysis of works and existing academic definitions based on the mechanisms of correlation that made it possible to determine differential signs that reveal its underlying content and interpretation. Applying correlation as a terminological notion, modern linguistics determines in it the following key signs and features: systemic relation, opposition nature, modeling character, dichotomous structure etc. The mechanisms of correlation embodied in the language (analogue, comparison, modelling, functional commonness etc.) that enable to learn the many-sided nature of being influence the person from the moment of birth, forming a naïve picture of the child’s world, introducing the child into the ethnic and language environment, familiarizing with the basics of material and spiritual culture, determining the most essential spatial sense coordinates in the cognition of the world. It is relevant to apply these mechanisms as a categorical notion, since it is the mechanism of correlation that becomes the background of the development of the conceptual language picture of the world of an ethnos, being the marker of the national language, traditions, culture, and human cognition. The category of correlation is a philosophical and esthetic notion of oppositional nature (e.g. object-subject, general-concrete, similar-different) the nature of which is in the character of human cognition itself, their mechanisms becoming the background of spreading any information (intellectual, spiritual, cultural, esthetic, imaginative, etc.). The mentioned specific features find their reflection in any language notion; they determine the language system of each ethnos. Keywords: correlation, cognition, ethnos, analogy, comparison, modelling, functional commonness, oppositional character, category.

Olena Kholodon
- Abstract
In modern linguistics the research of verb syntax and semantics is still relevant. Although there are a number of Ukrainian dialectologists’ works on the verbs functioning in the structure of the dialect language at different levels, the problem of realization of verb syntactic and semantic valency in the Eastern Polissian dialect in the context of the Ukrainian literary language is still not considered, that shows the relevance of the proposed research. The sources of the research are the dialect materials recorded during 2009–2019 by the author in Chernihiv and Sumy regions, materials of «Dictionary of the Ukrainian language» (in 11 vol. and in 20 vol.), «Phraseological dictionary of the Ukrainian language» (in 2 books) and «General regionally annotated Corpus of the Ukrainian language» (version 10). During the research it is applied the method of purposeful interview - for recording of the dialect material, the descriptive method, which includes methods of observation, interpretation and comparison, which represents dialect material in the paper, the methods of contextual analysis - to identify the semantic processes and the methods of corpus analysis - to define the literary equivalents. Although the paper does not provide a systematic study of the difference between the verb syntactic and semantic valency in the dialect and literary languages, but the general tendencies of dialect phenomena are outlined, in particular the author reveals the reduction of preposition на in the construction С|векар ме|не л’уба|ваўс’а, syntactic localism - |ноде |буд’еш, voice transposition and diathesis change in the context of syntagmatics in the constructions Йа |пасʼ:а ← Йа пас |конеĭ with the saving of subject’s activity, expanding the repertoire of meanings in the constructions Йа на |конʼах ро|биў, Йа |кʼінʼми ро|биў ‘graze horses’, Га|моним на ўс’у |губу ‘to speak a lot of the dialect language’ (negative), |Баби мужи|ком ба|лакайутʼ ʻto speak in a rough voice (about a woman)ʼ in the context of the literary language. The use of the corpus (GRAK-10) helps to establish the functioning of corresponding to the recorded in dialect constructions in the literary language. The linguistic data revealed in the Eastern Polissian dialect testify either a larger archaic syntactic and semantic matrix, or an actualization of the dialect speakers’ language creation, that requires further investigation.

- Abstract
The paper is devoted to the status of dialects of the settlements in Nadvirna district, Ivano-Frankivsk region, which required a through studying of the works of well-known dialectologists of the boundaries of pokutskyi, naddnistrianskyi, hutsulskyi, boikivskyi dialects. The paper contains the analysis of the linguistic maps of AUL (Atlas of the Ukrainian language), made by S. Bevzenko, О. Horbach, Ya. Zakrevska, F. Zhylko, Ya. Yanіv, Т. Yastremska; it also includes descriptive works of the researchers of sub-dialects of a south-west dialect where dialects of settlements of Nadvirna distirct, Ivano-Frankivsk region were represented. The material, cartographed by precursors, has proved that dialects of Nadvirna area are not similar at all language levels. It was stated that researchers chose various networks of dialects which did not allow them to draw demarcation lines between hutsulskyi, naddnistrianskyi, pokutskyi and boikivskyi dialects. In descriptive works about these dialects a starting point in defining boundaries is Nadvirna, part of Nadvirna district (except for the settlements in the north), part of Nadvirna area to the north of Yaremche and others. The attention has been paid to the fact that a demarcation line can stretch for tens and hundreds of kilometers. The assumption has been made that a greater part of Nadvirna area will have a status of transitional dialects. Some own maps of lexical-semantic phenomena, which helped separate groups of dialects – a northern group, a south-eastern group, were analyzed. It has been stated that a larger number of cartographic data will enable to elaborate the boundaries of dialects which contact, to determine transitional dialects, to identify zones and groups of dialects on Naddniprianshchyna area.

The article deals with the peculiarities of professional foreign language training of tactical level officers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. It describes some problems of training military personnel in higher military educational establishments of Ukraine. The paper also considers some aspects of the AFU officers’ professional foreign language training. The contradictions of professional foreign language training include the inconsistency of the requirements for individual training in connection with the need for teamwork during military service activities. The entrance control from physics was carried out at the beginning of 2017‒2018, 2018‒2019 and 2019‒2020 academic years. The tasks for entrance control included the problems, complexity of which did not go beyond the limits of the program of physics for general education institutions of the standard level. The number of students who performed the tasks of entrance control from physics was 540 people. The analysis of the results of the entrance control revealed that most of the first year students had significant difficulties in solving even simple qualitative and quantitative physical problems. The latter indicates that the general education level of subject competence from physics of first year students turned out to be low enough. Thus, it leads to significant difficulties in studying general physics course of the technical university level.Among the reasons for such low results of students from entrance control in physics are the following: insufficient theoretical training level of students from the general education physics course, which is a necessary condition for solving simple physical problems; insufficient motivation of students to perform the tasks of entrance control. The following is suggested to improve the situation: during the current control, together with other forms, it is worth to use physical dictation, which will contribute to raising the theoretical training level of students from general physics course. In order to increase students’ motivation to perform the entrance control tasks from physics, a score for entrance control should be included into the students’ rating system in the first semester.

To implement the methods of formation of senior preschoolers’ social competence, a system of ideas about the child, peers, and adults was developed, reflecting the holistic content of ideas about the components of the social environment, which can be understood by senior preschoolers. The complexity of the hierarchical system ideas development for preschoolers is that they should be based on the concepts in which the central connection of the objects of knowledge consists. The content of such concepts is difficult to deploy in the system of visual images, which are understandable for 5–6 year old children. Educational situational games, analytical exercises, interactive games, practical lessons with the use of modelling of common activities for children, parents and kindergarten staff (entertainment, leisure activity evenings, meetings with interesting people) are defined as the basic forms and methods of preschoolers’ education. All these various forms and methods of work with children have actualized the cognitive sphere of the older preschoolers: the pupils’ perception of the social world and their place in it has been deepened and systematized. The purpose of the research. The main purpose of the study is to find out the experience of researching and solving the problem of professional burnout for physicians including family ones in the United States, by analyzing recent surveys and scientific papers of American and European scientists. Methodology. While working on the article, general scientific theoretical methods were used to accomplish the tasks and achieve the purpose of the research. The methodological basis of the research was the structural-functional method, which allowed considering the phenomenon of professional burnout as a whole with separate elements and their dependencies. Using a historical method, a brief overview of the research development by US scientists on the problem of professional burnout of physicians with a focus on key events that occurred at each of the stages highlighted in the scientific papers. A comparative method was used to compare the results of surveys of different years and topics, data presented in the proceedings of the scientists, and research approaches. Methods of systematization and generalization were used to formulate the paper’s conclusions, in particular, to highlight the essential features of the American research experience and practical problem solution of professional burnout of physicians. Results. It has been found that the professional burnout of physicians has been a matter of concern for the government, professional medical associations, and the general public for physicians of various US specialties for a long time. Although burnout affects physicians of all disciplines, it has been discovered that, among family physicians, this phenomenon exceeds the average level, especially compared to the general economically active population of the United States. Two approaches to identifying and reducing the risk of occupational burnout in the United States have been identified and characterized: the first approach covers measures aimed directly at a physician, that is, a specific individual, and the second, involves measures aimed at an organization, that is, a medical institution. It has been found that American scientists have concluded that organizational measures are more effective, but the first approach should be applied as a first step in overcoming professional burnout. Practical meaning. The results of the research are applicable for further scientific exploration and practical problem solution of professional burnout of physicians, including family ones, in Ukraine. Prospects for further research. Methodology of surveys of physicians of various specialties on burnout, depression and professional satisfaction. The paper is dedicated to analysis of foreign educational innovation management; systematization of concepts which lay in the foundation of educational innovation management; extrapolation of the foreign approaches of innovation management on education, aimed at distinguishing the primary tasks of modern education management modernization. The paper illustrates that innovation management in education is substantiated by concepts of innovation management and educational leadership in general lays in modeling of innovation process on macro-, meso-, micro-levels of educational system; organizing and carrying out a system of influences that ensure the realization of innovation idea, its transformation into innovation product which has economic value and provides competitive edge to education. Modern theories of innovation management (institutional, fashion, rational management, management of organizational culture) are discussed in this paper. We attempt to make the case that: the process of innovation management has a cyclic character; consecutive change of stages leads to transformation of theoretical concepts of innovation management into practical actions which, followed by analysis and development, enrich the theoretical plane of innovation process management; ensure the formation new concepts and theories. This paper aims to elaborate a complex of interrelated concepts of innovation management: Customer-based Innovation, Proactive Business Model Innovation, Frugal Innovation, High Speed/Low Risk Innovation, Integrated Innovation. We argue that prognostic analysis of innovation management theory and practice, its key changes and transformations are presented in the theory of innovation development management by a complex of these concepts. This paper presents also that extrapolation of foreign innovation management approaches on the sphere of education allows to consider transition from understanding innovation process as the one to be implicated form outside to viewing it as that capable of self-development, which requires mastering the techniques of innovation process modeling on microlevel (local), substantiated by concepts of innovative leadership theory to be its primary objective.

Education - Abstract
The paper argues that we cannot expect democracy to emerge in adults unless and until students have substantial democratic experience during their schooling rather than experiences that benefit a select few at the expense of a mass of others. The paper concludes by offering some brief, but concrete suggestions for promoting democratic interactions in classrooms (and homes) to empower and build community in order that we might prevent some from being masters of others.

The article provides a historiographical analysis of the origins of guitar art in Ukraine and their impact on the formation of national guitar education. Applying the methods of historical and pedagogical analysis and systematic approach, the author considers archival documents and scientific works of leading scientists of the field. It is determined that during the XX century learning to play guitar is included in the educational process of domestic music education: firstly, they started playing guitar at music schools and colleges (30’s of the XX century), and since 1958 ‒ at conservatories and institutes. The paper analyzes the archival documents related to the guitar heritage of M. Verbitskyi and the work of the historical direction of such researchers: V. Kozlin, M. Mikhailenko, Y. Nikolaevskaia, V. Sidorenko and I. Shramko. It is determined that the guitar art in the territory of Ukraine was developed in the context of popularity among the population of stringed folk instruments. From the 13th to the 18th centuries, the guitars could not be identified because common names of similar-looking musical instruments were distributed. It was proved that the kobza was called a lyre, a doodle, a bandura, among other lute-like ones, and a bandura - an instrument with and without frets, made of two flat decks and a shell. It has been determined that prominent performers, composers and educators of the guitar played a significant influence on the formation of the national guitar education. Among them: I. Khandoshko, G. Rachinskyi, I. Vorobkevych, M. Sokolovskyi, and others. M. Verbitsky made a special contribution to the foundation of national guitar education. - Abstract
The problem of forming the professional self-awareness of the students of the technical college is one of the most important problems of professional pedagogy that needs to be resolved as soon as possible. The urgency of this problem is determined by socio-economic changes, which led to the emergence of an objective contradiction between the need to study the problem of forming the professional consciousness of students of the technical college, and insufficient elaboration of meaningful and technological aspect of the educational process. Competitiveness of specialists is largely ensured by the quality of their professional training, the presence of a high level of development of professionally significant qualities. All this is impossible without the successful formation of professional self-awareness, which is carried out in the educational process of the vocational school. The way to the formation of professional self-awareness lies through specially organized pedagogical conditions. The study of the theory of professional self-consciousness allowed us to define this category as a psychological phenomenon (personality trait), characterized by: awareness of the importance of the chosen profession, emotional-evaluative attitude to professional activity and to itself as its subject, as well as an assessment of its professional, significant knowledge, skills and competencies at every stage of professional development. The structure of professional self-consciousness includes: cognitive, emotional-evaluative and behavioral components. Obviously, in the presence of the formed professional self-awareness, the specialist of the industrial sphere cannot carry out his professional activity unqualified. It is established that the inappropriate content of vocational education leads to a weak orientation of students to the development of professional competences.
