Basıldıktan sonra kullanım ömrünü tamamlayan atık kâğıtlar, maliyetlerinin düşük olması ve bunun yanında sürdürülebilir bir hammadde olmaları nedeniyle kâğıt-karton endüstrileri ve kâğıt hamuru için oldukça önemli bir kaynaktır. Ancak, atık kâğıtların neredeyse tamamına yakını, üzerindeki mürekkebi gidermesi zor olan ve mürekkepten uzaklaştırma süreçleri sınırlayan yüksek hacimlerde basılı kâğıt içerir. UV mürekkep ile basılan kağıtlarda bunlardan biridir.Yapılan bu çalışmada; Yüzeyi kaplanmış yani kuşelenmiş ve yüzeyi kaplanmamış olan farklı yüzey özelliklerine sahip kağıtlar, LED-UV ile kuruyan mürekkepler kullanılarak basılmıştır. Baskılı kağıtlar INGEDE method 11p yöntemi kullanılarak geri dönüşüm sürecine tutulmuştur. Elde edilen el yapımı kâğıt sayfalarının CIE L*a*b* değerleri ölçülerek baz kâğıt değerleri ile karşılaştırılmıştır. Geri dönüşüm işlemi ile elde edilen geri dönüştürülmüş el yapımı kağıtlar mikroskopta 3000 kat büyütülerek incelenmiş ve kâğıt liflerinin arasındaki partikül boyutları gösterilmiştir. Polimerize olan UV kurutmalı mürekkeplerin kâğıt hamurundan uzaklaştırılmasının çok zor olduğu belirlenmiştir. Papers printed with UV ink are one of them.In this study; The coated and uncoated papers with different surface properties were printed using LED-UV drying inks. Printed papers were recycled using the INGEDE method 11p. The CIE L*a*b* values of the handmade paper sheets obtained by recycled process were measured and compared with the base paper values. Recycled handmade papers obtained by the recycling process were examined under a microscope at 3000 times magnification and the particle sizes between the paper fibers were shown. It has been determined that it is very difficult to remove polymerized UV-curable inks from the pulp.

Bu çalışmada, önemli eşya taşımak için kullanılan kâğıt-karton ambalaj kâğıtlarından üretilen paketleme ürünlerinin yanmaya karşı dirençli olmasını, olası yanma durumunda ise alevin ilerlemesini önlemek ve söndürme sırasında suyun ambalaj içerisine sızmasını engelleyerek ambalaj içerisindeki kıymetli evrak, eşya gibi malzemeyi en ekonomik ve sürdürülebilir bir şekilde koruma amacıyla çalışmalar yapılmıştır. Bu araştırmada, fluting kağıt hamurundan kağıt üretimi gerçekleştirilmiştir. Çalışma kapsamında yanma geciktirici (BA, BX ve AH) veya su itici kimyasal maddeler (Reçine ve AKD) ayrı ayrı kâğıt hamuru içerisine katılarak kâğıt üretimi gerçekleştirilmiş ve kâğıtların teknolojik özelliklerine etkileri incelenmiştir. Kâğıt hamuruna katılan yanma geciktirici kimyasalların kâğıtlara tutunamadığı ve süzülerek uzaklaştığı belirlenmiştir. Kâğıt hamuru için hazırlanan yanma geciktirici çözeltileri filtre kâğıtlarına uygulanmış ve filtre kâğıtlarında yanma geciktiricilerin tutunarak filtre kâğıtlarının yanma direnci değerlerinde gözle görülür iyileşmenin olduğu belirlenmiştir. Filtre kağıtlarına uygulanan yanma geciktirici kimyasallar arasında en iyi sonuçlar BX in kullanıldığı filtre kağıtlarında gözlemlenmiştir. AH suda çözünmemiş ve filtre kağıtlarında tutunarak en yüksek oranda ağırlık değişimine sebep olmuştur. Her iki su itici kimyasalın kullanımı ile üretilen kağıtların Cobb değerleri iyileşmiştir. Cobb değerlerinde en yüksek iyileşme AKD’nin en düşük oranda kullanılmasıyla elde edilmiştir. Sonuç olarak su itici ve yanma geciktirici kimyasalların kağıt yüzeylerinde başarılı bir şekilde çalıştığı, fakat yanma geciktirici kimyasalların uygulama yönteminin uygun olmadığı belirlenmiştir., This study has been carried out with the purpose of packaging products, used to carry important items, prepared from paper-cardboard packaging papers to be resistant to fire, to prevent the progression of the flame in case of possible combustion, and to protect the material such as valuable documents and goods in the package by preventing the leakage of water into the package during extinguishing. In this study, paper production was carried out from fluting pulp. In this study, paper production was carried out by adding fire-retardant chemicals (BA, BX and AH) or water repellent chemicals (Resin and AKD) into pulp separately and their effects on the technological properties of the papers were examined. It was determined that the fire retardant chemicals added to the pulp could not adhere to the papers and were filtered away. The increase in the amount of fire retardant did not affect the fire resistance properties of the produced papers. In addition to the fact that less burning occurred in all fire retardant paper groups compared to the control sample, the expected result could not be obtained, and a close burning to the control group was observed in the papers. The fire retardant solutions prepared for the pulp were applied to the filter papers and it was determined that the fire retardants adhered to the filter papers and there was a noticeable improvement in the fire resistance properties of the filter papers. Among the fire retardant chemicals applied to the filter papers, the best results were observed in the filter papers in which BX was used. AH did not dissolve in distilled water and clings to the filter papers, causing the highest weight change. The Cobb values of the papers have improved with the usage of both water-repellent chemicals. The highest improvement in Cobb values was obtained with the lowest rate of AKD usage. As a result, it has been determined that water-repellent and fire-retardant chemicals work successfully on paper surfaces, but the application method of fire-retardant chemicals is not the proper way.

Var olduğu günden bu yana yeryüzünde kendini konumlandırmaya çalışan insanoğlu, temel gereksinimlerini karşılamak amacıyla çeşitli uğraşlara yönelmiştir. Bu uğraşılar sonucunda çeşitli sanat dalları ortaya çıkmıştır. Yapan kişiden kullanılan hammaddeye kadar her türlü etki, bu sanat dallarının sınıflandırılmasında büyük rol oynamıştır. İplik sanatları başlığı altında değerlendirilen nakış sanatı, eski dönemlerde ipliğin hassas yapısından dolayı dişil sanatlar olarak tanımlanmıştır. Art and Craft hareketi, feminizm hareketi ve postmodernizmin ortaya çıkmasının ardından nakış sanatına olan yaklaşımlarda kırılma noktaları yaşanmıştır. Kavramsal sanatlar arasında yer almaya başlayan nakış sanatı, teknolojik gelişmelerden de büyük ölçüde etkilenmiştir. Bunların olumlu bir sonucu olarak nakış sanatı, kadın - erkek fark etmeksizin herkes tarafından yapılabilen ve her türlü zemin üzerine uygulanabilen bir sanat dalı haline gelmiştir. Aynı zamanda süsleme sanatı olarak bilinen nakış sanatında, toplumsal kaygılara mesaj niteliğinde anlamlı projelerin de yapılmaya başlandığı görülmektedir. Bu çalışmada kâğıt yüzeyler üzerine işlenen nakışlar incelenmiştir. Kâğıt yüzeyler çeşitlilik göstermekte olup her birinin farklı hassasiyeti bulunmaktadır. Bu yüzden bu tarz çalışmalar deneysel çalışmalar olarak tanımlanmaktadır. Çalışmada 3 farklı sanatçı tarafından 3 farklı kâğıt zemin üzerine yapılan eserler incelenerek bunların doküman analizleri yapılmıştır. Güzel ile kusurlu olanın birlikte kullanılması düşüncesiyle oluşturulan bu eserlerle nakış sanatının, malzeme konusunda sınırları aşan ve toplumsal olayları vurgulayan bir kimlik kazandığı anlaşılmaktadır., Mankind, who has been trying to position itself on earth since its existence, has turned to various efforts in order to meet its basic needs. Embroidery art, which is evaluated under the title of thread arts, was defined as feminine arts in ancient times due to the delicate structure of thread. After the Art and Craft movement, the feminism movement and the emergence of postmodernism, there were breaking points in the approaches to the art of embroidery. Technological developments have also greatly affected the art of embroidery art, which has begun to take its place among the conceptual art. As a positive result of these, the art of embroidery has become an art branch that can be done by everyone, regardless of woman or man, and can be applied on any kind of surface. In the art of embroidery, which is also known as the art of ornament, it is seen that meaningful projects have started to be made as a message to social concerns. In this study, embroideries on paper surfaces were examined. Paper surfaces vary and each has a different sensitivity. Therefore, such studies are defined as experimental studies. In the study, the works made by 3 different artists on 3 different paper backgrounds were examined and their document analyzes were made. It is understood that with these works created with the idea of using the beautiful and the imperfect together, the art of embroidery has gained an identity that goes beyond the borders in material and emphasizes social events.

Çalışmada hammadde olarak mekanik hamur bazlı teksir (gazete) kağıtları, yangın geciktirici olarak su bazlı Firetex (taş suyu) ticari ürünü kullanılmıştır. Teksir kağıtları çalışma öncesi hamurlaştırıcıda açılmış ve rapid-köthen makinesi ile tekrar kağıt haline dönüştürülmüştür. Firetex, kağıtlara daldırma yöntemi ile %25, %50, %75 ve %100 konsantrasyonlarda uygulanmıştır. Çalışma kapsamında üretilen test kağıtlarının termal, sağlamlık ve optik özellikleri ölçülmüş ve optimizasyonu gerçekleştirilmiştir. Çalışmada test örneklerinin termogravimetrik (TGA) analizleri sonucunda artırılan Firetex oranı ile kömürleşmenin ve kalıntı miktarının önemli ölçüde artış gösterdiği tespit edilmiştir. Örneklerin limit oksijen indeksi (LOI) değerlerinin de artırılan Firetex oranı ile arttığı, %50’lik konsantrasyon ile standart kabul edilen 26 LOI değerinin aşıldığı, %100 yangın geciktirici ile işlem gören örneklerde cihaz limitlerinin aşıldığı tespit edilmiştir. Artırılan Firetex oranı yanmaya karşı direnci geliştirirken kopma ve yırtılma direncini düşürdüğü tespit edilmiştir. Çalışma sonucunda LOI ve sağlamlık değerleri birlikte düşünüldüğünde atık gazete kağıtları için en uygun Firetex konsantrasyonu %50 olarak belirlenmiştir., In the study, mechanical pulp-based (newspaper) papers were used as raw material and water-based Firetex (stone water) commercial product was used as fire retardant. Waste papers were refibrilled in the pulper and recycled with the rapid-köthen machine. Firetex was applied to the papers at 25%, 50%, 75% and 100% concentrations by immersing method. The thermal, mechanical and optical properties of the test papers produced within the scope of the study were measured and optimized. In the study, as a result of the thermogravimetric (TGA) analyzes of the test samples, it was determined that the carbonization and residue amount increased significantly with the increased Firetex ratio. It was determined that the limit oxygen index (LOI) values ​​of the samples also increased with the increasing Firetex ratio, the LOI value of 26 accepted as the standard with 50% concentration was exceeded, and the device limits were exceeded in the samples treated with 100% fire retardant. It has been determined that the increased Firetex ratio improves the resistance against burning, while reducing the tensile and tearing resistance. As a result of the study, when the LOI and strength values ​​are considered together, the most suitable Firetex concentration for waste newspaper is determined as 50%.

Balıkesir Üniversitesi, Fen Bilimleri Enstitüsü, Çevre Mühendisliği Ana Bilim Dalı, Yapılan çalışmalarda kağıt endüstrisi atıksularının farklı deney şartlarında kesikli sistemde elektrokimyasal arıtma yöntemlerinden olan elektrooksidasyon yöntemi ile arıtımı incelenmiştir. Kağıt endüstrisinden temin edilen atıksuların arıtılması için yapılan çalışmalarda kullanılan 2000 mL hacimli ceketli cam reaktör içerisine 5 mm aralıklarla yerleştirilmiş, 70 mm x 100 mm boyutlarında 4 anot ve 4 katot olmak üzere toplam 8 adet elek tipi plakalar yerleştirilmiştir ve deneyler için 1200 mL atıksu kullanılmıştır. Elektrooksidasyon deneylerinde anot malzemesi olarak kaplanmış elek tipi Ti/IrO2/RuO2 ile Ti-Pt elektrotlar ve katot malzemesi olarak kaplanmamış elek tipi Ti elektrot kullanılmıştır. Tüm plakaların yaklaşık ıslak yüzey alanı 2464 cm2 ve aktif anodik ıslak yüzey alanı 1078 cm2 olarak hesaplanmıştır. Yapılan denemelerde, KOİ (Kimyasal Oksijen İhtiyacı), renk, bulanıklık ve AKM (Askıda Katı Madde) gibi kirletici parametrelerinin giderim oranlarına; destek elektrolitsiz ile NaNO3 (Sodyum Nitrat), Na2SO4 (Sodyum Sülfat), NaCl (Sodyum Klorür) ve KCl (Potasyum Klorür) gibi destek elektrolit türleri ve konsantrasyonları, atıksu başlangıç pH değeri ve akım yoğunluğu parametrelerinin etkisi incelenmiştir. Elde edilen sonuçlara göre her iki anot türü (Ti/IrO2/RuO2 ve Ti-Pt) için de;400 devir/dakika karıştırma hızında en etkili pH değeri olarak atıksu doğal pH (~7,5)değeri, 18,55 mA/cm2 en etkin akım yoğunluğu, 0,50 M NaCl en etkili destek elektrolit türü ve konsantrasyonu olarak belirlenmiştir. Optimum koşullardaki Ti/IrO2/RuO2 anot için %73,20 KOİ, %95,33 AKM, %95,41 renk ve %97,50 bulanıklık; Ti-Pt anot için %52,96 KOİ, %96,92 AKM, %96,12 renk ve %95,38 bulanıklık giderim verimleri elde edilmiştir. Ti/IrO2/RuO2 anot için enerji tüketim değeri 154,08 kW-saat/kg KOİ (565,5 kW-saat/m3) olarak hesaplanırken Ti/Pt anot için 312,05 kW-saat/kg KOİ (697,5 kW-saat/m3) olarak elde edilmiştir., In the studies, the treatment of paper industry wastewater by the electrooxidation method, which is one of the electrochemical treatment methods in the batch system under different experimental conditions, was investigated. A total of 8 sieve type plates, 4 anodes and 4 cathodes of 70 mm x 100 mm dimensions, were placed in the jacketed glass reactor with a volume of 2000 mL used in studies for the treatment of wastewater from the paper industry, at 5 mm intervals, and 1200 mL of wastewater was used for the experiments. In the electrooxidation experiments, coated sieve type Ti/IrO2/RuO2 and Ti-Pt electrodes were used as the anode material and uncoated sieve type Ti electrodes were used as the cathode material. The approximate wet surface area of all plates is 2464 cm2 and active anodic wet surface area is calculated as 1078 cm2. In the experiments, the removal rates of pollutant parameters such as COD (Chemical Oxygen Demand), color, turbidity and SS (Suspended Solids); The effects of supporting electrolyte types and concentrations, wastewater initial pH value and current density parameters such as NaNO3 (Sodium Nitrate), Na2SO4 (Sodium Sulphate), NaCl (Sodium Chloride) and KCl (Potassium Chloride) with no support electrolyte were investigated. According to the results obtained, for both anode types (Ti/IrO2/RuO2 and Ti-Pt); wastewater natural pH (~7.5) was the most effective pH value at 400 rpm mixing speed, 18.55 mA/cm2 was the most effective current density, 0.50 M NaCl was the most effective supporting electrolyte type and concentration. For Ti/IrO2/RuO2 anode at optimum conditions, 73.20% COD, 95.33% SS, 95.41% color and 97.50% turbidity; for Ti-Pt anode, 52.96% COD, 96.92% SS, 96.12% color and 95.38% turbidity removal efficiencies were obtained. While the energy consumption value for the Ti/IrO2/RuO2 anode was calculated as 154.08 kW-hour/kg COD (565.5 kW hour/m3), it was obtained as 312.05 kW-hour/kg COD (697.5 kW-hour/m3) for the Ti/Pt anode.

Bu çalışmada, Türkiye’de kağıt ve kağıt ürünleri imalat sektöründeki işletmelerin 2009-2019 yılları arasındaki finansal performansları ölçek temelinde analiz edilmiştir. Bu amaçla Türkiye Cumhuriyet Merkez Bankası sektör bilançoları yardımıyla kağıt ve kağıt ürünleri imalat sektöründe faaliyet gösteren mikro, küçük, orta ve büyük ölçekli işletmelere ait bilanço ve gelir tabloları üzerinde oran analizi gerçekleştirilmiştir. Ayrıca ölçek temelinde işletmelerin finansal başarısızlık riskleri Altman Z skor ve Springate Z skor modelleriyle hesaplanmıştır. Analiz sonucunda işletmelerin ölçekleri büyüdükçe likidite, finansal yapı ve karlılık performanslarının arttığı, faaliyet performansının ise değişkenlik gösterdiği saptanmıştır. Araştırmada ayrıca sektördeki mikro ölçekli işletmelerin genel olarak finansal başarısızlık riski içinde oldukları buna karşın ölçek büyüklüğü arttıkça işletmelerin finansal başarısızlık riskinin daha düşük düzeyde olduğu belirlenmiştir., In this study, financial performance of paper and paper products manufacturing sector companies between the years 2009-2019 in Turkey were analyzed basis of scale. For this purpose, with the help of the company accounts published by Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey, ratio analysis on balance sheets and income statements have been conducted of micro, small, medium and large-scale companies operating in the sector. In addition, financial failure risks of companies on scale basis have been calculated with Altman Z score and Springate Z score models. As a result of the analysis, it was determined that as the scale of the enterprises increased, their liquidity, financial structure and profitability performances increased, while the operating performance varied. As a result of the research, it was determined that micro-scale companies in the sector are generally in financial failure risk, however, as the size of the scale increases, the financial failure risk of the companies is lower.

Kültür, insan topluluklarının yaşadıkları dünyada uzun zaman diliminde doğruluğunu veyayanlışlığını denetleyerek karar verdikleri, ortak bilinçle kabullendikleri ve benimseyerek nesildennesle aktardıkları değerler bütünüdür. Kültürel belleğin önemli bir bölümünü oluşturan somutolmayan kültürel miras unsurlarını koruma amacıyla hazırlanan ve Türkiye Cumhuriyeti’nin 2006’dataraf olduğu UNESCO Somut Olmayan Kültürel Mirasın Korunması Sözleşmesi, SOKÜM unsurlarınıyaşatarak koruma prensibine dayanmaktadır. 2014’te UNESCO İnsanlığın Somut Olmayan KültürelMirası Temsili Listesi’ne Türk kâğıt süsleme sanatı olarak kaydedilmiş olan ebru sanatı, kadimzamanlardan bugüne Türklerin yaşayan kültürel miras unsurlarından biridir. Bu araştırmada ebrusanatının kültürel miras olarak aktarılarak yaşatılmasında medyanın etkisi olduğu varsayımı, ortaokuldüzeyinde belirlenen örneklem üzerinde denetlenmiştir. Çalışmanın amacı, ebru sanatının ortaokulöğrencilerindeki farkındalık durumunda medyanın etkisini tespit etmektir. Araştırmada öncelikledetaylı bir literatür taraması yapılarak elde edilen kaynaklar nitel bir yöntem olan doküman analiziile incelenmiştir. Nicel araştırma yönteminden de yararlanılan çalışmada veri toplama aracı olarakon beş sorudan oluşan anket formu kullanılmıştır. Veriler; Excel, Google Form, Jamovi programve uygulamalarıyla “oranlama”, “yüzde”, “aritmetik ortalama”, “betimsel analiz” teknikleriyleincelenmiş; öğrencilerin sınıf düzeyleri, cinsiyet oranlarına göre karşılaştırmalı olarak analizedilmiştir. The UNESCO Convention for the Protection ofIntangible Cultural Heritage, which was prepared to protect the intangible cultural heritage elementsthat form an important part of the cultural memory and to which the Republic of Turkey becamea party in 2006, is based on the principle of preserving the ICH elements by keeping them alive.The art of marbling, which was registered as The Turkish Paper Decoration Art on the UNESCOIntangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity Representative List in 2014, is one of the living culturalheritage elements of Turks from ancient times to the present. In this research, the assumption thatthe media has an effect on keeping the art of marbling alive by transferring it as a cultural heritagehas been checked on the sample determined at the secondary school level. The aim of the study isto determine the effect of the media on the awareness of the art of marbling in secondary schoolstudents. In this research, first of all, the sources, which were gathered through a detailed literaturereview, were analyzed by document analysis, which is a qualitative method. In the study, in which thequantitative research method was also benefited, a questionnaire consisting of fifteen questions wasused as a data collection tool. The data were analyzed using Excel, Google Form, Jamovi programsand applications, “rating”, “percentage”, “arithmetic mean”, “descriptive analysis” techniques andwere analyzed comparatively according to students’ grade levels and gender ratios. At the end of theresearch, it has been determined that the media -especially video sharing platforms and social mediahas an important place in terms of cultural transfer, although schools maintain their importance inthe protection and transfer of intangible cultural heritage.

Raku düşük sıcaklıkta yapılan ve raslantısal olarak redüksiyon aşamasında farklı renk efektleri ile sonuçlanan hızlı bir seramik pişirim sürecidir. Tarihsel olarak ilk Momoyama Dönemi’nde (1573-1615), Japonya'nın Kyoto şehrinde geliştirilen özellikle Zen Budistlerinin çay töreninde kullandıkları seramik ürünler için tasarlanmış ve geliştirilmiştir. Kâğıt katkılı seramik bünye olarak adlandırılan “Paper Clay”, seramik çamurlarına farklı çeşit ve miktarda kâğıtlar ilave edilerek oluşturulan bir karışımdır. Su ile ıslatılarak seramik çamurlarına karıştırılan kâğıt, çamur içerisinde homojen bir şekilde dağıtılır. Ayrıca kağıt katkısı seramik bünyelerde gözenekli bir yapıya sebep olduğu için raku sırını bünyeye daha fazla emerek raku sır pişirim sonrası yüzeyde farklı metalik etki ve renk efektleri oluşturmaktadır. Bu çalışmada sanatsal açıdan raku sırının kağıt katkılı seramik bünyeler üzerinde sanatsal, farklı, özgün renk efektleri elde edilmiştir. Bu çalışmada kırmızı, beyaz ve şamotlu seramik çamuruna %10 kâğıt katkısı ilave edilmiştir. Hazırlanan kağıt katkılı bünyeler üzerinde bakır oksit, demir oksit ve kobalt oksitli 3 farklı raku sırları uygulanmıştır. Sonuç olarak farklı efektler elde edilmiştir. Raku is a rapid ceramic firing process, which is made at low temperature and results in different color effects in the reduction phase. It was historically developed in the first Momoyama Period (1573-1615), especially designed for ceramic products used by Zen Buddhists in the tea ceremony and “Paper Clay”, which is called as paper-added ceramic body, is a mixture created by adding different types and amounts of paper to ceramic clay. The paper, which is wetted with water and mixed into ceramic slurries, is distributed homogeneously in the mud. In this study, 10% paper additive was added to red, white and chamotte ceramic clay. 3 different raku glazes with copper oxide, iron oxide and cobalt oxide were applied on the prepared paper-added bodies. As a result, different effects were obtained.

Medeniyetlerin oluşmasıyla birlikte bilim kültür ve sanatın aktarımında en önemli araçlardan biri şüphesiz yazıdır. Bu nedenle her nereye ve ne şekilde yazılırsa yazılsın nesiller bundan yararlanmışlar, kendi kültür ve tarihlerini yakından tanıyabilmişler ve gelecek kuşaklara da miras bırakabilmişlerdir. Ancak bu mirasın aktarılmasını daha da kolaylaştıracak bir malzeme olan kâğıdın icadı, işleri oldukça hızlandırmıştır. Gerek bilgi aktarımında kullanılan gerekse bizzat sanatın üzerine işlendiği kâğıt hem doğu hem de batıda vazgeçilmez bir malzeme olarak karşımıza çıkar. Kâğıdın keşfiyle beraber, medeniyetlerin onu elde ettikleri hammaddeler de coğrafya ve yüzyıla göre farklılık göstermiş, türleri, ticarî ilişkiler ve kullanım kolaylıklarına bağlı olarak batı ve doğu arasında sürekli yer değiştirmiştir.Bu araştırmada genel olarak kâğıdın tarihi serüveni ve hammaddeleri üzerinde durularak, İslam coğrafyasında farklı yüzyıllarda, kitap üretim merkezlerindeki kâğıt yapım aşamalarını gösteren tasvirler üzerinden, kitabhânelerdeki üretim faaliyetlerini gözler önüne sermek amaçlanmıştır.Özellikle 15. yüzyıl sonunda Herat’ta Timurlu döneminde günlük yaşam sahnelerinin resimlerde yer bulmasıyla, edebî eserlerde medrese konulu resimlerde kâğıdı hazırlayan kişiler görülmeye başlanmış, 16. yüzyılda Safevi döneminde bu etki devam etmiş, sonrasında Babürlü dönemiyle de risalelerde saray kitabhânelerinin canlandırıldığı resimlerle ve albümlerde sayfa kenarı süslemesi olarak görülmüştür. Bu tasvirlere bakıldığında, kâğıt yapım aşamaları ve üretimde kullanılan aletler, dönemin kaynaklarını destekler biçimde yansıtılmıştır., With the formation of civilizations, one of the most important tools in the transmission of science, culture and art is undoubtedly writing. For this reason, wherever and however it has been written, generations have benefited from it by being able to get to know their own culture and history closely and leaving a heritage for future generations. However, the invention of paper, a material that will facilitate the transfer of this heritage, has accelerated the work considerably. The paper, which is used both in the transfer of information and on which the art itself is embroidered, appears as an indispensable material in both the east and the west. Along with the discovery of paper, the raw materials from which civilizations obtained it also differed according to geography and century, and they constantly changed places between the west and the east depending on their types, commercial relations, and ease of use.In this research, it is aimed to reveal the production activities in the court ateliers through the miniatures showing the paper making stages in the book production centers in different centuries in the Islamic geography, by focusing on the historical adventure of paper and its raw materials in general.Especially at the end of the 15th century, with the appearance of daily life scenes in the paintings in the Timurid period in Herat, the people who prepared the paper began to be seen in the pictures on the madrasa in literary works. Moreover, this effect continued in the Safavid period in the sixteenth century, and later, in the Mughal period, it was seen in pamphlets with pictures in which the court ateliers were portrayed, and as margin painting in albums.Looking at these depictions, the papermaking stages and the tools used in production are reflected in a way that supports the sources of the period.

Orman ve orman ürünleri dünyanın birçok ülkesinde farklı alanlarda hammadde, ara malı veya nihai mal olarak kullanılmakta ve büyüme, istihdam, gayrisafi milli hâsıla gibi ekonomik göstergelere önemli katkı sağlamaktadır. Farklı şekillerde kullanılan bu ürünlerin, doğal ve organik olması nedeniyle çevre ve insan sağlığı açısından, aynı zamanda yetiştirme ve üretim maliyetlerinin düşük olması nedeniyle de ekonomik açıdan tercih edilirliği her geçen gün artmaktadır. Dünyada odun ve odun temelli orman ürünleri, mobilya, inşaat, kâğıt, yonga-levha gibi sektörler, hatta Birleşmiş Milletlerce yenilikçi orman ürünleri altında sayılan biyoplastik, biyolojik tabanlı ürünler, biyorafineri-biyogaz gibi sektörlerde endüstriyel kullanımı mevcuttur. Diğer taraftan ormanların iklim değişikliğinin etkilerinin azaltılmasına olan olumlu yöndeki birçok katkısı yanında son yıllarda çevre dostu ve sürdürülebilir enerji türlerinden biyoenerji uygulamaları konusunda orman atıklarının biyoyakıt olarak uygun bir seçenek oluşu da sıklıkla gündeme gelmektedir. Bu çalışmada, Birleşmiş Milletler Avrupa Ekonomik Komisyonu (The United Nations Economic Commission for Europe-UNECE) ve Birleşmiş Milletler Gıda ve Tarım Teşkilatı (Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations-FAO) tarafından kullanılan metodolojiye uygun olarak, kâğıt ürünlerine öncelik verilerek, odun temelli orman ürünlerinin Türkiye’de ve dünyadaki endüstriyel kullanım alanları ve bu alanlardaki payları incelenmiştir. Bu verilerin elde edilmesinde 2010-2018 dönemi gözetilerek, UNECE/FAO, OGM, Uluslararası Ticaret Merkezi (ITC) ve Türkiye İstatistik Kurumu (TÜİK) veri tabanlarından yararlanılmıştır. Söz konusu veriler ışığında, Türkiye ekonomisine orman sektörünce yapılabilecek katkının arttırılmasına yönelik değerlendirmeler yapılmıştır., Forest and forest products are used as raw materials, intermediate or final goods in different fields in many countries of the world and make an important contribution to economic indicators such as growth, employment, gross national product. Their preference is increasing day by day in terms of environment and human health, as well as economic and economic costs due to the natural and organic nature of these products used in different ways. Forest products have many industrial uses in the world, such as wood and wood-derived forest products, furniture, construction, paper, chipboard, and even in industries such as bioplastic, bio-based products, biorefinery-biogas, which are counted by the United Nations as innovative forest products. On the other hand, in addition to the positive contribution of forests to reducing the effects of climate change, it is also frequently seen that forest residues are a biofuel suitable option for bioenergy applications, which are among the environmentally friendly and sustainable energy types. In this study, with special emphasis to paper sector, the industrial usage areas of wood-derived forest products in Turkey and in the world and their shares in these areas were examined and evaluations were made to increase the contribution that can be made to the economy of Turkey by the forest sector in accordance with the methodology used by the United Nations Economic Commission For Europe (UNECE) and Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO). In obtaining these data, the UNECE/FAO, OGM, International Trade Center (ITC) and the Turkey Statistical Institute (TUIK) has benefited from the database from 2010 to 2018. In light of these data, assessments can be made for increasing the contribution of the forest sector and as Turkey's economy is made.

Balıkesir Üniversitesi, Fen Bilimleri Enstitüsü, Kimya Ana Bilim Dalı, Bu lisansüstü çalışmasının amacı günümüzde kâğıt endüstrisinde geri dönüşüm kâğıdının kullanımı ve geri döşüm kâğıt proseslerinin detaylı olarak gözden geçirilmesi, ayrıca geri dönüşüm kâğıdı kullanımının avantajlarını ortaya koymaktır. Kâğıt kimyasının temel hammadde kaynağı durumundaki tabii kaynaklarımız olan ormanların tüketimine alternatif olarak ön plana çıkan atık kâğıt kullanımının avantajlarını vurgulamaktır. Dünyada ve Türkiye’ de kâğıt tüketimindeki artışa paralel olarak, kâğıt imalatında kullanılan atık kâğıdın hammadde payı gün geçtikçe artmakta ve önem kazanmaktadır. Genel olarak, ekonomik ve çevresel, birçok faktör atık kâğıtların toplanarak yeniden kâğıt üretiminde değerlendirilmesinin olumlu etkiler sağlayacağı aşikârdır. En basit örnekle kullanılmış kâğıdın tekrar kâğıt imalatında kullanılması hava kirliliğini %74-94, su kirliliğini %35, su kullanımını %45 azalttığı ve bir ton atık kâğıdın kâğıt hamuruna katılmasıyla 17 ağacın kesilmesi önlenebilmektedir. Dünyada olduğu gibi ülkemizde de geri dönüşüm proseslerine gereken önem verilmeye başlanmış özellikle ülkemizde başlatılan ‘’Sıfır atık’’ projesi de bunun bir göstergesidir. Bu lisansüstü çalışma ile atık kâğıtların tüm kâğıt imalat proseslerinde rahatlıkla kullanılabilirliği gösterilmiş, bu anlamda sadece ülkemizin değil tüm Dünyanın tabii kaynaklarının kullanımının minimize edilebirliğine vurgu yapılmaya çalışılmıştır. Bu çalışma gelecekte kâğıt endüstrisi üzerine yapılabilecek projelere, lisansüstü araştırma çalışmaları yapacak bilim insanlarına ilham kaynağı olacaktır., The aim of this postgraduate study is to review the use of recycled paper and recycling paper in today’s paper industry in detail, and to reveal the advantages of using recycled paper. The aim is also to emphasize the advantages of using waste paper, which stands out as an alternative to the consumption of our natural resources, the forests which is the main raw material source of paper chemistry. The paper consumption in parallel to with the increase in World and in Turkey, the waste paper’s raw material rate which is used in paper manufacturing increasing and gaining importance day by day. In general, economically and environmentally, it is obvious that several factors will have positive effects if waste paper is collected and reused in the paper production. Used papers with the simplest examples could reduce the air pollution by %74-94, Water pollution by %35, the usage of Water consumption by %45 and cutting 17 trees could be avoided by adding a ton of waste paper to the pulp. As in the World, the recycling processes have been given due importance in our country, especially The Project initiated in our country ‘’ Zero Waste’’ is an indicator of this, with this postgraduate study, it has been shown that the waste papers can be used easily in all paper manufacturing processes, and in this sense, the study has been tried to emphasize the minimization of the natural resources not only in our country but also in the World as well. This study will be a source of inspiration for future projects on the paper industry and scientists who will make postgraduate research studies.

Günümüzde gittikçe artan araç sayısı göz önüne alındığında, araçlardan salınan gazların çevreye etkileri de buna paralel olarak önemli ölçüde artmaktadır. Özellikle dizel araçlarda iyi yanma ve düşük emisyon değerleri için bazı önlemlerin alınması gerekmektedir. Dizel motorlarda kullanılan yakıt, çeşitli sebeplerle motor elemanlarına zarar verebilecek kimyasal maddeler içerebilmektedir. Düzgün yanma, yakıt pulverizasyonu ve atomizasyonu için yakıtın enjektöre gönderilmeden önce bu maddelerin yakıttan ayrıştırılması gerekmektedir. Toz, kir, pas, su gibi zararlı maddelerin kullanılacak yakıttan uzaklaştırılması için yakıt filtreleri kullanılmaktadır. Yakıt filtrelerinin içinde bulunan filtre kağıtları, yakıt içinde bulunan yabancı maddelerin enjektöre ve motor elemanlarına ulaşmalarını engellemede önemli bir role sahiptir. Yakıt filtresinde bulunan bir filtre kağıdından; yüksek sıcaklığa dayanım, partikülleri süzecek kadar küçük fakat düzenli akışı engellemeyecek boyutta gözenekler, uzun ömür, yüksek su tutma kapasitesi, şekil dayanıklılığı ve mümkün olduğunca düşük maliyete sahip olması beklenmektedir. Bu çalışmada, yakıt filtrelerinde kullanılan filtre kağıtları ile ilgili araştırmalar yapılmış ve halihazırda kullanılmakta olan üç farklı çeşit kağıt testlere tabi tutularak kalınlık, ağırlık, kabarcık noktası, maksimum gözenek çapı, patlama mukavemeti, hava geçirgenliği ve partikül bazında verim değerleri ölçülmüş, optimizasyon ve karşılaştırması yapılarak en iyi özellikteki kağıt tespit edilmiştir., Considering the increasing number of vehicles today, the environmental impacts of the gases emitted from the vehicles increase significantly in terms of this situation. Some precautions should be taken especially for efficient combustion and low emission values in diesel vehicles. The fuel used in diesel engines may contain chemical substances that can damage engine elements for various reasons. These substances must be separated from the fuel before the fuel is sent to the injector for proper combustion, fuel pulverization and atomization. Fuel filters are used to remove harmful substances such as dust, dirt, rust and water from the needed fuel. Filter papers in fuel filters have an important role in preventing foreign substances in the fuel from reaching the injector and engine elements. It is expected from a filter paper in the fuel filter; can be resistant to high temperature, small enough to filter the particles but not to prevent regular flow, long life, high water holding capacity, shape durability and as low cost as possible. In this study, researches have been made on the selected three filter papers that used in fuel filters. Thickness, weight, bubble point, maximum pore size, bursting strength, air permeability and particle based efficiency values were measured and the best quality paper was determined by optimizating and comparing three different types of paper.

Teknolojide yaşanan gelişmeler eğitim alanında birtakım dönüşümlere yol açmıştır. Bu dönüşümün en önemli yansıması da teknolojinin eğitsel amaçlı olacak şekilde nasıl daha sistemli, planlı ve etik bir şekilde kullanılması gerektiğidir. Bu bağlam çerçevesinde araştırmanın amacı, metin madenciliği kullanılarak 2007- 2021 tarihleri arasında gerçekleştirilen Bilgisayar ve Öğretim Teknolojileri Sempozyumlarında sunulan bildiri özetlerinin analiz edilip kavramsal trendin ortaya çıkarılmasını sağlamaktır. Araştırma kapsamında 3145 bildiri özeti metin madenciliği tekniği kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Analiz sonucunda kavram haritaları, öne çıkan kavramlar ve kavramlar arası ilişki düzeyi tespit edilmiştir. Sonuç olarak, her dönemde uzaktan eğitim alanının yoğunlukla araştırma konusu olduğu ortaya çıkmıştır. Ayrıca, sempozyumun gerçekleştiği ilk beş yılda araştırmaların ilköğretim seviyesine odaklandığı sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. İkinci beş yılda ise öğretmen adaylarına yönelik çalışmaların yoğun olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Son beş yıllık süreçte ise öğretmenlere yönelik çalışmaların yoğunlaştığı görülmekle birlikte programlama ve dijital oyun konularına ilişkin kavramların da öne çıktığı görülmüştür. Üretim faaliyetinde bulunan firmaların sahip oldukları kaynakları etken ve verimli kullanmaları belirledikleri amaç doğrultusunda zorunludur. Finansal yapılarında oluşacak değişimleri izleyebilmek ve gereken önlemleri zamanında alabilmek, firmaların finansal verimliliklerini doğru yönetebilmeleri açısından önemlidir. Finansal performansın değerlendirilmesinde ve denetlenmesinde kullanılan Dupont analizi farklı karlılık unsurlarını bir araya getirmekte ve etki eden temel finansal boyutları bütün olarak değerlendirebilme imkanı sunmaktadır. Bu çalışmada Kağıt ve Kağıt Ürünleri Sanayi Sektöründe yer alan ve Borsa İstanbul’da işlem gören firmaların finansal performanslarının Dupont analizi ile incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Borsada işlem gören yedi adet firmanın 2012-2018 yıllarını kapsayan finansal verileri kullanılarak yapılan çalışma sonucunda Dupont değerleri firmalar düzeyinde belirlenmiş ve başarı sıralaması yapılmıştır., It is important to monitor the changes in financial structures and to take the necessary measures in a timely manner in order to manage the financial efficiency of the firms. Dupont analysis, which is used in the evaluation and audit of financial performance, brings together different profitability elements and provides the opportunity to evaluate the main financial dimensions that affect profitability as a whole. In this study, the equity efficiency of the companies which are traded in the paper and paper products industry in Borsa Istanbul and engaged in production activities between 2012 and 2018 was carried out with the help of Dupont method. The financial statements of the firms included in the analysis for the years 2012-2018 are obtained from the Public Disclosure Platform and Borsa İstanbul official website. In this study, it is aimed to determine the calculations which are effective on return on equity of companies by Dupont analysis and to investigate the effects of the ratios examined on return on assets and return on equity. By using panel data regression analysis method, net profit margin and active turnover rate ratios are related to asset profitability and net profit margin, active turnover rate and equity multiplier to determine the effect levels. As a result of the study conducted by using the financial data of seven firms listed on the stock exchange covering the years 2012-2018, Dupont values were determined at the firm level and the success ranking was made.

Bu çalışmada ise, başlık ve özet bilgileri ile girdi olarak alınan herhangi bir makaleye en benzer makaleleri listeleyen yeni bir içerik-tabanlı akademik tavsiye sistemi prototipi tanıtılmaktadır. Farklı veri işleme yöntemleri ile oluşturulan öneri listeleri kıyaslanarak prototipin başarımı değerlendirilmektedir., The rapid increase in digital information and visitors' number causes a waste of time to access attractive items. To alleviate information overload, it is necessary to present information with filtering and prioritization efficiently. This situation has enabled the recommender systems to emerge and gain importance. Suggestions are created to provide users with personalized products or services. Recommendation systems appear in different system applications such as books, music, movies, commercial products, and academic articles. The expansion of digital scientific content emphasizes the importance of recommendation systems, especially in the academic field. Various methods are used in academic article recommendation systems. In this study, a new content-based academic recommendation system prototype is introduced that lists the articles most similar to any given input with title and summary information. The performance of the prototype is evaluated by comparing the suggestion lists created with different data processing methods.

Kâğıt, başta kitap sanatları olmak üzere, sanatın hemen hemen tüm kollarında kullanılmaktadır. Fakat görülen odur ki; bu malzeme daha çok üzerinde çizgi, şekil, renk veya motif bulunan, bir ifadeyi ya da duyguyu ileten araç olarak kullanılmıştır. Kâğıdın kendisi sanatsal bir söylem olarak ele alındığında ise, bu çerçevenin daraldığı görülmektedir.Malzemeyi tasarlamak amaçlandığında; kağıdın içeriğine odaklanarak üretim aşamasından itibaren olanakları değerlendirme gereği duyulmuştur. Böylelikle, sanatsal ifade yöntemlerinin genişletebileceğini söylemek mümkündür. Bu noktadan hareketle ve çevreci bir hassasiyetle; ikincil liflerden oluşan kâğıt hamurunda, geri dönüşümden elde edilen tekstil liflerinin ve atıklarının kullanıldığı kompozit bir yapı oluşturulmuştur. Geleneksel malzemelerden farklı olarak, yenilikçi bir yaklaşımla deneysel bir çalışma yapılmıştır. Bu şekilde elde edilen reçete, kompozit üretim yöntemiyle birleştirilmiş ve kâğıdın biçimsel olarak da yorumu deneyimlenmiştir. Sanatsal söylem, bu yeni malzemenin ve kompozit üretimin sunduğu olanaklarla birleştirilerek Tılsımlı Gömlek formunda bir tasarıma dönüştürülmüştür. Tılsımlı gömleklerin özel işleme tabi tutularak kâğıt vasfı kazandırılmış kumaşlardan dikildiği bilinmektedir. Bu kumaşların özelliklerinden esinlenerek de, tekstil malzemeleri takviyeli kâğıt yapılar (kompozitler) oluşturulmuştur. Bu sayede özgün bir yaratım malzemesi olarak üretilen kompozitler, tezyinî sanatlarla bağdaştırılmış kavramsal bazı çıkarımlar içeren bir tasarımla sanatsal söyleme dönüştürülmüştür., Paper is a material that is used in nearly every branch of art, especially book arts. However, it is clearly seen that paper is mainly used as a material which transfers an expression or a feeling with its lines, shapes, colours or patterns. When paper itself is considered as an artistic expression, this framework seems to have narrowed.When the purpose is to design the material; it is necessary to evaluate the possibilities starting from the production stage by focusing on content of the paper. In this way, it is possible to suggest that the artistic expression methods can be expanded. From this point of view and with an environmental sensitivity, a composite structure is formed for secondary fiber paper pulp using waste textiles and recycled fibers.As an alternative to conventional materials, an experimental study has been conducted with an innovative approach. The approach obtained in this way has been combined with the composite production method and the interpretation of the paper as a form was experienced. Artistic expression was transformed into a design in the form of talismanic shirt by combining the possibilities of this new material and composite production. It is known that these shirts are stitched from fabrics that have been imparted with paper characteristics by special process. Inspired by the properties of these fabrics, paper structures reinforced with textile materials (composites) were created. In this way, the composites, -which are produced as original creative material- have been transformed into artistic expression with a design which includes certain conceptual references associated with art of ornamentation.
