Andrew Chesterman's Reflections on Translation Theory publication consists of a collection of author's articles written over years of academic activity. The title summarizes the content of the works: a reflection on translation theories. In addition to debates on theories, concepts, and methodologies, Chesterman also provides significant contributions to discipline questions and concerns. The result of the fruitful discussions is a series of research work proposals. Thus, the book is an important and constructive debate for the discipline and the researchers.

The regular school and the special school, despite having diferents work proposals, have a common purpose, to educate and empower the autonomy and the adaptive capacity of the individuals. This study has a general objective to identify the perception of autonomy and support intensity for parents and teachers of children with intellectual disabilities. The research had a transversal approach with explanatory, descriptive and qualitative character. Five children were studied had ages between seven and ten years and a diagnosis of intellectual disability. Data collection was done with four teachers and four mothers related to the same child, so the research had the participation of 8 individuals. The results demonstrate perceptions of a greater intensity of support reported by those responsible for the children who are the target of the research when compared to the teachers, as well as the view they have about autonomy that is not in accordance with the literature (Silva, 2008) and the perception about the tutor’s duties are not in accordance with the Brazilian Inclusion Law. It is possible to understand the importance of teacher training for diversity so that they feel more secure in the face of the new paradigms of inclusive education. Abstract The objective of this short paper was to provide some advice on how to write a geoscience paper of international standard and to warn against some common pitfalls. It is focused on how to structure a paper and stresses the importance of building its contents around a well-defined problem. Furthermore, the importance of moving away from outdated and counterproductive ways of describing and interpreting deformation is emphasized. In particular, describing structures and tectonic evolution in a poorly founded scheme of multiple deformation phases and making stress interpretations from structurally complex and heterogeneous rocks where rotations and stress perturbations are difficult or impossible to account for are strongly discouraged. Instead, I encourage the use of modern structural geology and tectonics ideas that, among other things, allow for composite and overprinting structures to form progressively and diachronously with a wide variation in style and orientation during a single deformation history. Also, more emphasis should be put on strain and kinematics, toning down the use of stress. After all, stress is only observed through strain and kinematics; going from one to the other is not straightforward in general, and particularly difficult in ductilely deformed rocks.

The role play in the Cultural Historical perspective is a highly evolved form of play. In it the child reconstitutes social activity and tries to represent it, reproducing the concrete activity of people in their relationships and diversity. Therefore, the themes of the games can be varied and changeable depending on the objective situations in which the child participates. As a dominant activity of the preschool age, role play can foster children's psychic development. Thus, the objective of this study is to investigate the influence of organized spaces and the insertion of new themes in social role play. Method: 25 children from four to five years of age participated in the Municipal Infantile Education of the city of Bauru- SP. The observational and descriptive analysis was adopted. Results: The data generated by graphs 1 and 2 and tables 1, 2, 3 demonstrate, above all, that the theme and the argument of the play enabled an advance in the levels of development of role play after the study of the theme and performance of roles in Spaces.

We present here thirteen previously unpublished letters from the Hubert Jennings Papers, including twelve letters signed by members of Fernando Pessoa’s extended family, plus one letter drafted by Hubert Jennings himself. This correspondence covers a period of time of almost three years, dating from 10 February 1967 to 15 January 1970. Chronologically situated in between the two previously known letters sent from Michael and Teca (published in Pessoa Plural 8), these new documents greatly enrich our understanding of the relationship between Hubert and Pessoa's family, their joined efforts to secure a grant from the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, and the early inventory of Pessoa’s archive.

El Espacio Europeo de Educación Superior (EEES) promueve la aplicación de nuevas técnicas docentes para lograr una interacción significativa alumno- docente, corrigiendo problemas de aprendizaje oportuna y eficazmente. Este trabajo analiza la técnica one minute paper en estudios de grado universitario, y sus implicaciones sobre el rendimiento académico. Frente a un enfoque predominantemente teórico de trabajos previos, se aporta evidencia empírica con una amplia muestra de alumnos, constituyendo una experiencia docente extrapolable a otros centros educativos. En general, se obtuvo una alta participación en la técnica y existió una importante interacción en el aula. Además, la tasa de éxito en el examen fue superior entre aquellos alumnos que participaron mayoritariamente en los one minute papers, frente a aquellos que fueron evaluados solo con dicho examen. En conclusión, la aplicación de nuevas técnicas docentes contribuye positivamente al aprendizaje, mejorando el rendimiento académico y potenciando una mayor interacción profesor-alumno.

This paper aimed to carry out an analysis of Joule’s original texts, written in the middle of the XIX century, trying to understand how the changes in heat concept occurred throughout his work. To support the theoretical analysis, a literature review was made with texts about the Science history and the study of alternative conceptions about heat. Guided by this literature review, the Discursive Textual Analysis was used as the methodology to examine which factors influenced Joule in changing his conception of the nature of heat. Joule initially accept the caloric theory and, instigated by internal aspects of his research and work by other researchers such as: Rumford, Davy and Herapath, he begins to understand the heat as a state of motion of the particles. We believe this work has the potential to serve as a subsidy for the teaching of Physics, where the study of Joule’s work can contribute so that there is a reframing of the heat concept for the students.

En aquest article es presenten les activitats i experiències impulsades des de la Cartoteca de Catalunya amb l'objectiu de visibilitzar i reconèixer els treballs de les dones en un camp tradicionalment amb una gran presència d'homes, com són les ciències de la terra. Les dues activitats principals se centren en la celebració d'exposicions per donar difusió al fons propi de la Cartoteca, i a intentar desenvolupar col·leccions més equilibrades des del punt de vista de gènere. This article describes the activities designed by the Map Library of Catalonia to draw attention to the contributions of women to Earth sciences, a field traditionally dominated by men. The Library’s two main lines of action are the organization of exhibitions to bring its holdings to a wider public, and its project to develop more gender-balanced collections.

Chile es un caso emblemático en la apertura de la educación superior al libre mercado y en la reformulación de las lógicas que regulan la producción científica en las universidades. Esto se traduce en un sistema de gestión del personal académico orientado por bonos de productividad asociados a las publicaciones de alto impacto, distribución de fondos de investigación condicionados a la productividad de investigadores y jerarquización de las tareas académicas. En este artículo presentamos los resultados de un estudio que buscó explorar y comprender cómo académicas y académicos de ciencias sociales, altamente productivas y productivos, describen la escritura científica desde la práctica laboral cotidiana enmarcada en nuevas regulaciones de la producción científica. A partir del análisis de 20 entrevistas, proponemos que hay facetas fundamentales para definir la escritura científica: la afectividad, la fragilidad y la estrategia. This paper presents a multi-user mobile learning system—specifically designed to enhance collaborative language learning through mobile devices. The system delivers an app version of a paper-based learning task, called Terminkalender, which has successfully been used for several years with students from an A1-level German language course (CEFR). The learning task requires students to interact with each other via text messages in order to jointly plan different activities and record them in an appointment calendar. While the paper-based version already had a great potential for engaging students to interact in the target language, the app not only facilitates students’ interaction, but also allows teachers to easily trace back and analyse learners’ interaction. To this end, specific software implementing several features was developed: a web-based platform for system administration, an in-app text chat function, real-time feedback on learner performance as well as a log function for storage and assessment of learners’ interaction. The experiment sheds some light on the potential of the designed system for analysing learners’ behaviour and interaction patterns as well as assessing different indicators with regard to the student use and competencies in the target language.

Ferramentas para auxílio de análise ergonômica são frequentemente utilizadas quando há a necessidade de avaliação de riscos musculoesqueléticos no trabalho. Dessas ferramentas, uma das mais conhecidas é a REBA (Rapid Entire Body Assessment). Seu amplo uso fez com que suas formas de distribuição e aplicação fossem alteradas por vários autores, de forma a tentar encontrar a melhor maneira de aplicação. Inclusive, com o advento de celulares e tablets, foram feitas diversas versões em aplicativo da ferramenta. Pouco pode ser encontrado sobre a usabilidade desse método, ainda mais em qual versão é mais apropriado, em termos de usabilidade. Objetivou-se neste artigo realizar uma avaliação de usabilidade da ferramenta REBA em duas diferentes versões para verificar a influência que a usabilidade da ferramenta tem nos seus resultados. Acredita-se que qualquer tipo de ferramenta para uma avaliação ergonômica deve, de forma intrínseca, ser usável, pois sua usabilidade tem influência direta em sua confiabilidade e replicabilidade. Sendo assim, fez-se uma análise comparativa de usabilidade com a ferramenta em versão papel e aplicativos para celular com oito sujeitos para a verificação de tal usabilidade. Encontrou-se melhor usabilidade para o aplicativo, mas confiabilidade equiparada para as duas versões. Assim, constata-se que as duas podem ser igualmente usadas para avaliação REBA.

O artigo analisa a produção acadêmica publicada nas principais plataformas brasileiras de divulgação cientifica acerca da avaliação na Educação Infantil. O estudo utilizou como aporte metodológico a Analise de Conteúdo de Laurence Bardin, tendo como recorte temporal o período de 1996 até 2015. Os dados foram classificados em quatro categorias de analise, que sugerem uma producao acadêmica sobre a avaliação na Educação Infantil ainda escassa, todavia em ascensão, com predominância de producao na área de Educação. Outro ponto tratado no estudo refere-se aos múltiplos focos acerca da temática avaliação e Educação Infantil. Os estudos baseiam-se tanto em aspectos do microcontexto, como o registro e a documentação pedagógica, passando pelo uso de escalas e testes padronizados que objetivam avaliar o desenvolvimento da criança em aspectos de macrocontexto, como nas avaliações da qualidade do ambiente, das instituições e dos sistemas de ensino. Por fim, o artigo destaca ainda que essa temática requer uma ampla discussão a fim de construir uma melhor compreensão dos sujeitos que por ela são influenciados (professoras, crianças, famílias e equipes gestoras). Journals are the most important vehicles for sharing research results. Some countries (such as Brazil, Chile and Portugal) are underrepresented in terms of originating papers published in top Information Systems journals. This theoretical paper aims to provide a roadmap signposting the key elements for a paper to meet the criteria for publication in the top Information Systems journals. Ten dimensions for critically reviewing Information Systems papers were identified in the literature. Considering the importance of having a paper published in a top journal, for both the author and for the institution to which he is affiliated, this paper might be used by researchers wishing to submit papers to top journals, as well as by editors and reviewers who might benefit by reflecting on the standards adopted in peer review systems.

This research seeks to provide a general overview of educational research in Latin America based on the study of articles published in Latin American impact journals and written by authors of the Region. Specifically, the 1,086 articles on empirical research in education written by Latin American authors and published in journals published in Latin America and indexed in jcr (isi Web of Science), Scopus or scielo, during the years 2014, 2015 and 2016 are reviewed. Four elements are reviewed: the authorship of the articles, the subject of study, the level of education addressed and the research methodology used. The results indicate that three countries (Brazil, Mexico and Chile) concentrate 75% of the papers, 59.1% of the authors are women and 53% of the papers are signed by three or more people. Among the most studied topics include Learning and school performance, Teachers and Teaching strategies, curriculum and teaching practices. Higher Education is clearly the most studied, with 43.1% of the papers. And, finally, there is no priority methodological approach, with practically half of qualitative articles, the other half quantitative. With all this information, it is possible to conclude some elements that translate into the need for greater support for research, a rethinking of topics and levels of study and a boost to collaborative research.

This paper approaches issues about stages of mental development based on the work of Daniil El’konin and the theoretical methodological foundations of historical cultural psychology in L. S. Vygotsky and A. N. Leont’ev. It is analyzed the mental development as part of the development of personality in the context of childhood school education from the perspective of historical critical pedagogy of Dermeval Saviani.

This article presents a Physics teaching research using as teaching-learning technique a didactic sequence constructed from educational games, experimental activities and computational simulations. The content covered in this work is hydrodynamics and its application in the physical concepts involved in airplane flight. Learning content is reinforced through the use of computer simulation using the software Modellus. The students' evaluation was made with the use of educational games: crosswords, word searches and games of the seven errors. The assessment was carried out through the application of questions that evaluated the students' alternative conceptions. The theoretical framework is based on the theory of mental models of John-Laird and in the theory of meaningful learning of Ausubel. So, the evaluations of previous knowledge of the students were made through evaluation of test type questionnaire.

This research paper aims to show the panorama and scope of the current existing sex education practices carried out by the Costa Rican public universities. It analyzes different initiatives, its theoretical approaches that guide the actions, their purposes and other relevant aspects. The analysis includes secondary information as well as the point of view of students and university staff, as inputs for decision-making aimed at improving the overall education of young people. The findings take part of an exploratory research based on qualitative and quantitative methodologies based on gender and constructionism perspective. The information was gathered via the application of a questionnaire to a specific uneven stratified cluster groups, composed by 766 enrolled undergraduate students since first semester 2011 at Universidad Nacional de Costa Rica. The statistical margin of error was 1.5% and the confidence level of 95%. In addition, two focus groups with students and depth interviews with 16 persons were made. Data were tabulated with CSPRO software and analyzed using R software. The findings suggest that Costa Rican universities recognize the importance of sex education as an essential part of overall development of students. Most of the initiatives are institutionalized; however, the lack of guidelines or policies on the subject, in most institutions, affects quality, consolidation and expansion of services. The need to strengthen and expand training activities on sexuality was identified as well. The students have a high opinion about the services offered, but few of them use these services, because they are perceived as less accessible and friendly. This paper concludes that it is a priority to maintain and strengthen existing initiatives on sexual education, so that they can effectively satisfy the needs of youth, with timely interventions and quality to enjoy a healthy and safe sexuality free from violence.

Objectiu: reflexionar sobre els rols del professor com a recomanador i prescriptor de lectures i sobre el lloc que ocupa cadascuna d'aquestes funcions en l'educació literària de l'alumnat. -- Metodologia: revisió bibliogràfica en el camp de la didàctica de la llengua i de la literatura i presentació de certes situacions escolars de lectura que exemplifiquen els supòsits des dels quals es pensa el rol docent. -- Resultats: un dels avenços més grans que s'han produït en els darrers anys en la didàctica de la llengua i de la literatura es vincula amb la definició progressiva de les funcions docents i dels objectius educatius relacionats amb els processos de formació del lector literari en el context escolar. En aquest marc cal renovar els processos de formació del professorat per tal d'assegurar la construcció del cànon formatiu que requereix la pràctica professional del mediador escolar de lectures. Objective: This article reflects on what teachers do when they recommend and prescribe works of literature to their students. It also examines how recommendation and prescription are important in children’s literary education. -- Methodology: The article reviews the research on language and literature education and examines particular classroom scenarios that explain why teachers choose certain roles over other when they recommend and prescribe works of literature. -- Results: In recent years, the most important progress in language and literature education has been tied to redefining teachers’ roles and the objectives of education as these relate to children’s acquisition of literary reading skills. In this context, teacher education programmes need to be revised in order to equip teachers with a literary canon that helps them address their task effectively.

ABSTRACT Objective: To present some criteria, many of which were created in the form of a checklist of items to be considered throughout the review process. Furthermore, we present a study whose main objective was to build (and validate) a review instrument by specialists that is clear, comprehensive, concise and consistent with the highest standards of excellence. Method: We use a survey to collect data (123 answers). To analyze the open answers we use the technique of content analysis through the Qualitative Data Analysis Software. Results: Besides the creation of new criteria with a focus on methodological dimensions based on 12 items, the involvement of the Ibero-American Congress on Qualitative Research scientific committee in the validation of this instrument. Conclusion: This option, in line with the others described, will allow to implement improvements to the editions of the events using the Qualitative Research Evaluation Tool in 2018.

This article shows our analysis of the 509 papers presented at the Brazilian Association of Researchers in Journalism (SBPJor) conferences between 2003 and 2007. The analyses were based on four reference categories: 1) types of research; 2) formal standardization; 3) the type of methodological models; 4) the writers’ level of training. The goal is to identify the level of professionalization in specialized studies in journalism, highlighting the types of research and manuals, theoretical influences, and prevailing methodological methods. The main results highlight the predominance of doctoral writers and empirical research. We also noticed a lack of adherence to formal standardization.

The environmental problems constitute a topic of very current investigation, guided to the generation of educational processes that facilitate the taking of the world population's conscience and, in a particular way, of the decisores that act in the diverse spheres of the social chore, for the care and protection of the atmosphere. This paper aims to reveal the essentials that distinguish the formation of value environmental responsibility and the role the same in achieving sustainable local development; all of which serve as a basis to substantiate the need for an educative approach that reinforces this value to decisores and municipal managers.

The NBOMes are classified as new psychoactive substances and have recently become popular as drugs of abuse, being associated with several intoxication cases and even deaths, leading to its ban in several countries. Until now, the most widely used analytical instrument among forensic laboratories in Brazil is GC-MS. In this study, this instrumentation was employed for routine analyzes of twenty blotter paper seizure by Brazilian Federal Police (BFP) in the southernmost state of the country. However, to acquire more information about these samples, LC-QTOF/MS was used as a supplementary analysis to determinate degradation products, metabolites and unknown compounds. The GC-MS analysis detected only 25B-NBOMe, while the LC-QTOF/MS analysis detected 25B-NBOMe, 2C-B and MDMA. The compounds found in these analyzes are quite different from that found in the national profile of seizures by BFP, suggesting that another rout or supplier act in this region. For research and drug intelligence purposes the use of more versatile, sensitive and specific analytical tool provides a greater number of information that could be employed as a valuable strategy in the drug trafficking combat.

Objective. This research aimed to determine the degree of acceptance, by the use of the Technology Acceptance Model - TAM, of the developed software, which allows the construction and database management of scientific articles aimed at assisting in the dissemination and retrieval of stored scientific production in digital media. Method. The research is characterized as quantitative, since the TAM, which guided this study is essentially quantitative. A questionnaire developed according to TAM guidelines was used as a tool for data collection. Results. It was possible to verify that this software, despite the need of fixes and improvements inherent to this type of tool, obtained a relevant degree of acceptance by the sample studied. Conciderations. It also should be noted that although this research has been directed to scholars in the field of information science, the idea that justified the creation of the software used in this study might contribute to the development of science in any field of knowledge, aiming at the optimization results of a search conducted in a specialized database can provide.

O objetivo deste artigo é propor a redução da distância entre a teoria e a prática das relações internacionais no ensino de Análise de Política Externa a partir da produção de relatórios de opções políticas e de planejamentos para a negociação internacional pelos alunos. E o argumento central revela que a realização de tais tarefas práticas permite a aproximação dos alunos à realidade dos atores envolvidos na formulação da política externa. Além de aplicarem o instrumental teórico para um entendimento mais preciso dos temas nessa subárea, os alunos vivenciam situações de barganha desenvolvidas pelas abordagens estudadas e são estimulados a desenvolver estratégias a fim de responder aos principais desafios políticos propostos. Teatros de papel 1765-1860. ¿construcción de un modelo “a la francesa”?ResumenDesde mediados del siglo XVIII, la arquitectura teatral fue objeto de múltiples debates por cuanto ya no satisfacía las exigencias de la puesta en escena, ni del público que demandaba cada vez más comodidades. Las reflexiones teóricas se orientaron, entonces, hacia la búsqueda de una arquitectura para el espectáculo, adaptada a los hábitos y las prácticas de la sociedad francesa. En el presente artículo se propone analizar –—a partir del estudio de una serie de escritos publicados entre finales del siglo XVIII y mediados del siglo XIX—, los diferentes modelos teóricos que alimentaron la conceptualización de la arquitectura teatral, los cuales resultaron tan diversos como lo eran los perfiles y las trayectorias de sus autores. The theoretical reflections were then directed towards the searching for architecture for the show, adapted to the habits and practices of French society. In this article we propose to analyze, from study of a series of papers published between the late eighteenth century and the middle of the nineteenth century, the various theoretical models that fueled the conceptualization of theater architecture, which were as diverse as were the profiles and trajectories of their authors. Cet article se propose d’analyser -à travers l’étude d’une série de publications parues entre la fin du XVIIIe siècle et le milieu du XIXe-, les différents modèles théoriques ayant alimenté la conceptualisation de l’architecture théâtrale, lesquels ont résulté aussi divers que les profils et parcours de leurs auteurs. This research project revolves around the properties of text linguistics under a qualitative approach. The author analyzed drafts of a research paper by two university students as well as lesson plans and textbooks of high school Spanish Language and Literature courses and lesson plans of courses from the Licentiate degree in Education. According to the information from the drafts, students struggle with coherence and cohesion in writing; however, they succeed in choosing the correct language for the type of writing. Difficulties are most likely due to fact that this topic is not included in secondary education plans and is not commonly addressed in textbooks or university classes. In conclusion, teachers should include the properties of text linguistics in their lesson plans in order to help students overcome these difficulties.

O livro de Roberto Salviani é uma versão modificada de sua tese de doutorado, defendida no Programa de Pós Graduação em Antropologia Social do Museu Nacional (SALVIANI, 2008). Inserindo-se nas discussões relativas à antropologia do desenvolvimento, Salviani problematiza o “mega projeto de desenvolvimento” Itaipu Binacional (doravante, IB). Para a finalização da pesquisa e publicação do livro, o autor contou com recursos do projeto “DIVERSO ”“ Políticas para a Diversidade e os Novos Sujeitos de Direitos: estudos antropológicos das práticas, gêneros textuais e organizações de governo”.

Este artículo presenta los resultados obtenidos a través del uso de herramientas informáticas (Provalis Research), también conocidas como CAQDAS (Computer Assisted Qualitative Data Analysis Software), para el análisis de los escritos de Peirce, las bases estadísticas de una cronología para su último periodo intelectual y la justificación de una posible periodización del Pragmaticismo, además de la descripción de ciertos descubrimientos realizados en nuestro trabajo de archivo sobre los documentos y manuscritos originales de Peirce. Este trabajo es una parte de nuestra investigación en la Universidad de Quebec en Montreal (UQAM) y la Biblioteca Houghton de la Universidad de Harvard.

We present a complete Portuguese translation of the 1896 paper by Charles Édouard Guillaume (1861-1928) about the temperature of interstellar space. The importance of this work is that it is the oldest estimate known to us of the temperature acquired by a body which is in interstellar space far away from other stars. This temperature would be due to an equilibrium state in which the radiation received by this body from the stars around it would be equal to the radiation emitted by this body. This estimative happened prior to the birth of George Gamow (1904-1968) who is considered erroneously in many textbooks as being the first person to have predicted this temperature.

En el setanta-cinquè aniversari de la mort d'Eduard Toda, que va ser diplomàtic, egiptòleg, escriptor i historiador, que va redescobrir i divulgar l'alguerès, que va reconstruir i restaurar Escornalbou i Poblet, que va compilar bibliografies i va ser un bibliòfil i un mecenes exemplar, s'analitza en primer lloc aquest darrer aspecte de la seva activitat que va contribuir a enriquir les biblioteques i els arxius del país. A continuació es presenta la seva relació amb l'Escola de Bibliotecàries que es va iniciar gràcies al lligam que havia establert amb la Biblioteca de Catalunya amb les seves generoses donacions de materials bibliogràfics. A partir de la documentació conservada a l'arxiu de l'antiga Escola de Bibliotecàries, es mostren les distintes facetes d'aquella relació: les excursions a Escornalbou que es complementen amb tot un recorregut cultural, les estades de les alumnes a Poblet on col·laboren en l'organització de la biblioteca pobletana, la introducció de les classes de restauració en el pla d'estudis de la carrera, la posada en marxa d'un laboratori de restauració que, per moltes dècades, compartiran l'Escola i la Biblioteca de Catalunya, etc. Certament, els vincles de Toda amb l'Escola es van caracteritzar per un afecte mutu i algunes de les activitats que va promoure amb les alumnes van contribuir a donar a l'Escola aquell toc d' Diplomat, Egyptologist, writer and historian, Eduard Toda is remembered as the man who rescued the Algherese dialect of Catalan from oblivion and who helped rebuild the monastery libraries of Escornalbou and Poblet. On the occasion of the seventy-fifth anniversary of his death, this paper reviews Toda’s book collecting activities, his general love of books and his outstanding work as a benefactor of libraries, which together contributed to enriching our country’s book heritage. The paper then turns to Toda’s relationship with the school for librarians the Escola de Bibliotecàries, which was founded thanks to his donation of a number of book collections to the Library of Catalonia. As recorded in the archives of the old Escola, this relationship was based on a number of different activities: Toda’s trips to Escornalbou, which also provided an opportunity for cultural study; his organization of periods of residence for student librarians at Poblet to help rebuild the monastery’s library; his creation of classes in book restoration in degree courses in librarianship; and the creation of a workshop for restoring library materials, which for many decades helped to link the Escola and the Library of Catalonia. Finally, as the article shows, Toda’s ties with the Escola de Bibliotecàries were reinforced by the mutual affection existing between him and the school as well as by the activities he organized with its students, which gave the school its singular nature as a place of study during the 1930s.

Neste último número de 2015, registramos alguns acontecimentos importantes que marcaram nossa trajetória e nossos esforços na consolidação do campo da Alimentação e Nutrição no Brasil como espaço caracteristicamente interdisciplinar. Alcançamos todas as metas editoriais que nos colocamos: a periodicidade está em dia; publicamos quatro números no ano; há 20 artigos no último número. Em termos numéricos, chegamos ao patamar exigido para indexação em bases de dados internacionais consideradas pelas principais agências de fomento brasileiras como referência para cálculo de indicadores de circulação no campo da ciência. E 2016 será o ano em que daremos início aos movimentos para solicitar a inserção de nosso periódico nesses espaços. Esse movimento está sendo possível, em especial, por conta da crescente presença de pesquisadores em programas de pós-graduação, juntamente com seus orientandos, como autores de artigos em nossa revista. Hoje, Demetra é a segunda revista brasileira no campo alimentar-nutricional mais utilizada para publicação de artigos por pesquisadores dos programas de pós-graduação inseridos na área de avaliação “Nutrição” da CAPES. Os pesquisadores do campo alimentar-nutricional estão apostando na revista, investindo em sua consolidação, vendo nela um caminho a ser trilhado. É um importante reconhecimento do nosso trabalho! L’article planteja una breu aproximació al paper que va tenir el periodista Mateo Santos, director del setmanari cinematogràfic Popular Film (Barcelona, 1926-1937), entorn del qual es constituiria a Barcelona durant els anys de la II República un «grup d’afinitat» caracteritzat per l’afició al cinematògraf i per la militància llibertària dels seus joves integrants.

Aquest estudi analitza el paper molt important, però fins ara generalment sense reconèixer, de la comunitat catalana de Montevideo en el desenvolupament econòmic, social i institucional de l’Uruguai durant el període colonial (1724-1808) i també la primera fase (1808-1814) de les lluites entre criolls i peninsulars per al control dels territoris confrontats al Riu de la Plata.
