With the extensive applications of nuclear technology, radiation security and management are becoming more and more important in science and engineering laboratory of colleges and universities teaching and scientific research. By analyzing the existing problems in the management of radioactive isotopes and irradiating apparatus in colleges and universities, for example, the lack of radiation safety knowledge, the delay of EIA approval procedures, the difficulty of decentralized management of equipment and personnel. Combined with the radiation safety management practice of Nankai University, several important measures such as the publicity and education, safety culture, whole-process management, radiation documents, safety protection are explored. The measures are proposed so as to provide a new idea for the radiation safety management in colleges and universities. Based on the study, we eventually raised up that all colleges and universities should understand the importance of radiation safety management from the perspective of maintaining stability, continuously expand the channels of radiation propaganda, promote the construction of radiation safety culture, regularly maintain the national nuclear technology utilization radiation safety declaration system, improve the information level of protection and management, and follow the technical indicators and operational procedures to prevent the occurrence of radiation accidents. As an important carrier for cultivating engineering practice ability and innovation entrepreneurship spirit of students majoring in civil engineering, the virtual simulation and numerical modeling platform for underground engineering experiment teaching is of vital necessary to its own construction. In the important strategic opportunity period of building local high-level universities, combined with the existing resources of the national equipment manufacturing virtual simulation experimental teaching center in University of Shanghai for Science and Technology, the significance for the construction of the virtual simulation and numerical modeling platform for underground engineering experiment teaching is analyzed. The current situation of underground engineering experimental teaching resources in the Department of Civil Engineering is also analyzed. The shortcomings and problems in the experimental teaching are pointed out. The necessity and urgency for constructing virtual simulation and numerical modeling platform for experimental teaching are explained. At present, in the postgraduate teaching of control theory and control engineering in many universities of China, multiple control courses and system identification courses are simultaneously set up. For the problems in the practice teaching, the reform of electronic practice teaching based on outcomes-based education (OBE) concept is implemented to meet the requirements of engineering education program accreditation. Based on the student-centered, the engineering project is taken as a carrier to cultivate the knowledge, ability and quality of the students. A progressive three-level system which consists of basic experiment, design experiment and research experiment is designed. The basic experiment teaching emphasizes to cultivate knowledge. Engineering education aims to help students become active designers, understand design requirements better, and be capable to execute real design projects. Based on CDIO engineering education model, comprehensive practice courses in the authors' university were redesigned and developed to provide students a complete " conceiving, designing, implementing, operating" learning experience. Under the consideration of the pedagogic characteristics, existing problems and cultivation demands, we constructed interdisciplinary teaching mode and CDIO project-based organizational structure; systematically designed teaching activities ( e. g., course curriculum, teaching methods, assessment metrics, etc. ) and continuously improved. A novel teaching method with "inter-specialty, project-based" has been established. After six years of practice, it shows that the students' ability of innovation and practice was widely improved. Student self-report data indicate high satisfaction with their learning experiences. It is also expected that this study may offer a reference to other engineering education reform. The MOOC is an important research direction of colleges and universities teaching reform. Aiming at the characteristics of electronic technology practice course and the shortage of traditional electronic technology practice course, we designed an electronic technology practice suite based on ESP8266 and OneNet Internet of things common platform. This kit includes core board, sensor expansion board, control expansion version, interactive expansion board and innovation expansion board. The paper introduces the system design of the kit, the hardware circuit design and software design of each expansion board. The suites are connected by electronic building blocks, and each board is collocation and superimposed. It has strong expansibility and innovation. Considering the complex design problems of large-scale routing engineering and the lack of adequate routing equipment in western universities, it is difficult to meet the practical teaching requirements such as route configuration management and complex fault diagnosis of large-scale network systems. In this study, a large-scale routing design and simulation based on Huawei emulator eNSP was proposed. The solution applied advanced routing control and management such as static routing, dynamic routing, route import, route filtering and routing strategy in a multi-AS, multi-area and multi-protocol environment. It was validated through the teaching practice of network engineering, that the instrument could effectively cultivate the abilities of students to solve large-scale routing designs, system configuration, test analysis, fault diagnosis and other complex engineering problems. As an important part of practical teaching in universities, the experimental teaching demonstration center directly affects the quality of undergraduate training. Taking the Information Engineering Beijing Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center as an example, the reform and practice in experimental teaching were introduced. Firstly, a CDIO-OODA engineering education concept based on active projects was presented under the student-centered framework. Secondly, a multi-level, three-dimensional, progressive and continuous composite innovation talent teaching system was constructed by combining with the training orientation of automation discipline. And the curriculum contents were designed based on the engineering projects. Then, a new teaching method was formed under the framework of CDIO implementation, which applied a variety of advanced teaching methods to the different stages of CDIO. The training of practical and applied talents in engineering management major is a new teaching concept for both teachers and students. In order to improve the engineering ability of students in water supply and drainage engineering major, and strengthen the students’ practical ability of instrument and electromechanical control, the practice teaching link of " operation and maintenance management in water treatment system " is newly added in water treatment engineering system.
