Increasing the productive capacity of dairy cows increases the incidence of non-communicable animal diseases, including such metabolic diseases as ketosis, osteodystrophy, postpartum hypocalcemia, etc. Under conditions of excessive physiological stress, violation of the optimal mode of feeding and keeping animals, technological stresses often lead to disruption of neurohumoral regulation and the appearance of diseases similar to postpartum hypocalcemia. The wide distribution of postpartum hypocalcemia, its insufficient knowledge in conditions of intensive animal husbandry determined the scientific direction of our work.The main goal of our work was to study the effect of increasing calcium in the ration of cows during the drying period of milk in highyielding cows in large specialized farms on the frequency of postpartum hypocalcemia. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are key contributors to technological innovation. As China’s vanguard for self-reliance and strength in science and technology, specialized, sophisticated, distinctive and novel (SSDN) SMEs have grown into an important motivation for high-quality development, a key stabilizer for the new development paradigm, and a vital force for an innovation-driven China. In recent years, China has been ramping up support for SSDN SMEs, and raised the focus on their development to a new level. At present, some problems and obstacles are befalling the high-quality development of SSDN SMEs, such as imperfect innovation system and mechanism, weak basic research service capabilities, a digital divide in digital transformation, and insufficient vitality of collaboration among players in the innovation ecosystem. In the future, China should promote the high-quality development of SSDN SMEs from system and mechanism, basic input, business environment, and digital empowerment. Specifically, China should increase policy support to consolidate the institutional guarantee for innovative development, build more platforms to form a dynamic innovation ecology, enhance intellectual property protection to spur entrepreneurship, and ramp up upgrading and transformation for the quality and efficiency improvement of traditional enterprises. There is a dearth of trained library personnel in the government-owned special school for the visually impaired libraries in South-East, Nigeria. This study x-rayed the visually impaired training centers available in South-East Nigeria to find out the number of personnel trained within the period of 2015-2019 as well as the causative factors. The study employed oral organized interviews, statistical records, and an observation checklist. From the findings, out of the 4 Organized Special Need Persons Care-takers Training Centers, only 2 had training, while the remaining 2 had no training. Records show that within five years, a total of 367 persons were trained in different specialties: Special Education Teachers 315; Special Librarian 0; Victims of Eye Injury or Disease 25; and Persons with Special Interest 27. From the records, there is no recorded graduation of trainees for special librarians. The observation checklist conducted showed the dearth of state-ofthe-arts-facilities in the centers. Poor functionality and utilization of the training centers and Special Librarian ranking zero in the training were the major cause of human resource challenges bedeviling the special school library for the visually impaired in South-East, Nigeria. It becomes a great burden in the provision of information needs of this fast-growing number of visually impaired student library users. It is therefore imperative that the South-East Government provides specialized personnel to tackle these challenges through the utilization of the various training centers; creation of wider special education librarians' awareness in professional meetings, conferences, seminars, and workshops, establishing special library/training centers in all special educational institutions in Nigeria among others. The Pompilidae is a cosmopolitan and diverse group of wasps, which commonly feed on nectar. However, pollination systems specialized on pompilids have not been documented in detail outside of southern Africa. Here, we studied Caladenia drummondii (Orchidaceae) where, based on floral traits and preliminary field observations, we predicted pollination by sexual deception of male pompilid wasps.Detailed pollinator observations were undertaken using floral baiting experiments at sites spanning 375 km. Following evidence for nectar on some flowers of C. drummondii, the sugar content on the labellum was analysed by GC‐MS. Floral spectral reflectance was measured and compared with Caladenia using other pollination strategies.Males of a single species of pompilid wasp (Calopompilus sp.) were the only visitors capable of pollinating C. drummondii. Attempts to feed from the surface of the labellum were frequent and were associated with removal and deposition of pollinia. GC‐MS analysis revealed larger quantities of sugar on the labellum than reported in other Caladenia species. While no sexual or courtship behaviour was observed, the zig‐zag and circling flight on approach to the flower is suggestive of odour‐based attraction. Floral spectral reflectance was similar to sexually deceptive Caladenia.This study represents the first confirmation of a specialized pompilid pollination system outside of Africa. Although pollination occurs during nectar‐foraging, long‐distance sexual attraction cannot be ruled out as an explanation for the exclusive male visitation. The similarity in floral spectral reflectance to other Caladenia indicates colour may not impose a constraint on the evolution of pollination by pompilids. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Like other areas of professional scholarly activity, the medical field in Morocco is experiencing a real linguistic divide between the theoretical training of medical students (with all its specialties) and practical reality in the workplace. Theoretical courses in the medical schools are done in specialized French, whereas during the internships or during the actual work, after allocation of the new laureates, the verbal exchanges are done in Arabic (AR), Amazigh (AMZ), in ordinary French (FR) and learned or in mixture of language according to the speaker, the situation and the specialty of the field in question. This particular situation generates several problems between speakers of different levels of instruction (experienced doctors, trainees, patients, etc.) which sometimes hinders the smooth running of the work. This article is part of sociolinguistics. It aims to elucidate the gap between the theory and practice of specialized language of the medical field in Morocco through a language corpus collected at the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy of Marrakech (FMPM) and the University Hospital Center (CHU) from the same city. Observations and questionnaires were used to collect the data and verify the results qualitatively and quantitatively.

Gram-positive bacterial pathogens have an array of proteins on their cell surface that mediate interactions with the host environment. In particular, bacterial cell wall-associated (CWA) proteins play key roles in both colonization and pathogenesis. Furthermore, some CWA proteins promote specialization for host-species or mediate colonization of specific anatomical niches within a host. In this mini review, we provide examples of the many ways by which major pathogens, such as Staphylococci, Streptococci and Listeria monocytogenes, utilize CWA proteins for both host- and niche-specialization. We describe different biological mechanisms mediated by CWA proteins including: the acquisition of iron from hemoglobin in the bloodstream, adherence to and invasion of host cells, and innate immune evasion through binding to the plasma proteins fibrinogen, immunoglobulin G, and complement. We also discuss the limitations of using animal models for understanding the role of specific CWA proteins in host-specialization and how transformative technologies, such as CRISPR-Cas, offer tremendous potential for developing transgenic models that simulate the host environment of interest. Improved understanding of the role of CWA proteins in niche- or host-specificity will allow the design of new therapeutic approaches which target key host–pathogen interactions underpinning Gram-positive bacterial infections.

Radiation of the plant pyridoxal 5′-phosphate (PLP)-dependent aromatic L-amino acid decarboxylase (AAAD) family has yielded an array of paralogous enzymes exhibiting divergent substrate preferences and catalytic mechanisms. Plant AAADs catalyze either the decarboxylation or decarboxylation-dependent oxidative deamination of aromatic L-amino acids to produce aromatic monoamines or aromatic acetaldehydes, respectively. These compounds serve as key precursors for the biosynthesis of several important classes of plant natural products, including indole alkaloids, benzylisoquinoline alkaloids, hydroxycinnamic acid amides, phenylacetaldehydederived floral volatiles, and tyrosol derivatives. Here, we present the crystal structures of four functionally distinct plant AAAD paralogs. Through structural and functional analyses, we identify variable structural features of the substrate-binding pocket that underlie the divergent evolution of substrate selectivity toward indole, phenyl, or hydroxyphenyl amino acids in plant AAADs. Moreover, we describe two mechanistic classes of independently arising mutations in AAAD paralogs leading to the convergent evolution of the derived aldehyde synthase activity. Applying knowledge learned from this study, we successfully engineered a shortened benzylisoquinoline alkaloid pathway to produce (S)- norcoclaurine in yeast. This work highlights the pliability of the AAAD fold that allows change of substrate selectivity and access to alternative catalytic mechanisms with only a few mutations. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Background: Vitamin and mineral deficiencies are common after a sleeve gastrectomy (SG). The aim of this study is to examine the effectiveness of a specialized bariatric multivitamin (WLS Optimum) for SG patients on deficiencies compared with a regular multivitamin (MVS) for up to 5 years. Methods: Data of all patients who underwent a SG procedure in the Catharina Hospital Eindhoven (CZE) between July 2011 and July 2016 were collected and retrospectively analyzed. All patients who completed a preoperative blood test and at least one blood withdrawal during the first operative year were included in this study. Results: This study included 970 patients; 291 patients in the WLS-user group and 679 patients in the non-WLS-user group. In favor of the user group, significantly less de novo deficiencies were found of vitamin B1 (2 years) and vitamin B6 (two and three), folic acid (1 and 2 years), and vitamin B12 (at 1 year). Binomial logistic regression showed a significant influence of multivitamin supplementation mainly on ferritin; vitamins B1, B6, B12, and D; and folic acid, (all p < 0.05). The total number of de novo deficiencies was significantly reduced during the whole study for all WLS Optimum users. Conclusions: Vitamin deficiencies are common, and postoperative nutritional management after SG is underestimated. The use of a specialized multivitamin supplement resulted in higher mean serum concentrations and less deficiencies of vitamin B1, folic acid, and vitamin B12. This study shows that SG patients benefit from the specialized multivitamin supplements, but adjustments are required for iron and vitamin B6 content. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

In 1967, the United States Supreme Court ruled that children facing delinquency charges have a constitutional right to defense counsel. Despite that mandate, state assessments of juvenile defense systems have consistently found high rates of waiver of counsel. Children are facing harsh punishments with potentially lifelong consequences without the benefit of a trained defense attorney at their side. Given the severity of the consequences of juvenile court involvement and society's understanding of the developmental science behind adolescence, this article argues that to meet constitutional requirements, juvenile courts must automatically appoint defense counsel for all children facing delinquency charges. Les sarcomes rétropéritonéaux sont des tumeurs rares et hétérogènes. Nous en présentons deux cas localisés à la loge rénale avec revue de la littérature dans le but d'insister sur les particularités anatomiques et chirurgicales de cette localisation, et sur ses éventuels retentissements pronostiques. Le premier cas de tumeur a été rapporté chez une patiente de 45 ans localisée au niveau de la loge rénale gauche, dont le diagnostic de liposarcome de type myxoïde a été posé sur l'examen anatomo-pathologique de la pièce de résection. Le deuxième cas de tumeur a été rapporté, chez un homme de 70 ans, localisé au niveau de la loge rénale droite, dont le diagnostic de liposarcome dédifférencié a été posé sur l'examen anatomo-pathologique de la pièce de résection. Les sarcomes rétropéritonéaux sont souvent diagnostiqués au stade de masse palpable. Le traitement de référence est la résection tumorale complète avec des marges saines et sans effraction. Dans ce but un élargissement aux organes de proximité est recommandé par certains auteurs. Cependant les contraintes anatomiques de l'espace rétropéritonéal et le volume tumoral souvent important limitent les possibilités d'avoir une clairance satisfaisante. Le scanner et l'imagerie par résonance magnétique sont d'un grand apport. Le diagnostic histologique pose des problèmes, ainsi le recours aux techniques d'immunohistochimie et parfois de biologie moléculaire est d'une grande aide. L'évolution est marquée par la survenue fréquente de récidives. Afin d'optimiser les résultats thérapeutiques de ces tumeurs rares et très variés, une prise en charge multidisciplinaire spécialisée est recommandée.

Abstract:One of the leading causes of reduced quality of life, disability and premature mortality were urologic diseases. Improving the provision of urologic care to the population — one of the major problems in the system. The team of authors developed a model of restructuring urological service to the region with a total population of 2 million people, and a regional center with a population of 1 000 thousand people. The article provides the calculation of normative number of beds and doctors’ rates for the urology department three-tier system of care, depending on the population of the region. The calculation of staffing urologist and urological department heads. Computer simulation is performed in accordance with the current legislation (about health care) and regulations. The standardized software development methodology inter-networking model units have practical value and can be used by the executive bodies of state power in the health sector of any region of each profile of care.

Purpose: To identify the most frequently used coaches and athletes in bodybuilding principles that can help to reduce the injuries of athletes while maintaining the progressivity results. Material : a survey participated 86 coaches and 120 athletes, bodybuilders from 5 to 8 years. Results : It was found that most of the coaches used in the course of employment principles generally accepted system of training. In such circumstances, the risk of injury to athletes is large enough. When using pre-exhaustion principle to increase the intensity of the training process increases the risk of overloading the body athletes. Conclusions : Athletes with a longer training experience (about 8 years), more likely to use the principle of prior exhaustion. In this case athletes try using this principle to reduce the operating parameters of volume load. This helps to reduce the level of injury and maintain positive dynamics performance.

Background One of the side effects of bariatric surgery is the risk of vitamin and mineral deficiencies. Vitamin B12, vitamin D, folate, and iron deficiencies are especially common among Roux-en-Y gastric bypass patients. Objective To examine the effectiveness of a specialized multivitamin supplement for Roux-en-Y gastric bypass patients on deficiencies the first 3 years postoperatively, retrospectively in a large, prospectively collected cohort. Setting Large specialized bariatric hospital. Results One thousand one hundred sixty patients were included, 883 users and 258 who were nonusers of the specialized multivitamin. Patient characteristics and total weight were comparable. Higher serum concentrations of ferritin (124.7 ± 96.2 µg/L versus 106.0 ± 83.0 µg/L, P = .016), vitamin B12 (347.3 ± 145.1 pmol/L versus 276.8 ± 131.4 pmol/L, P <.001), folic acid (34.9 ± 9.6 nmol/L versus 25.4 ± 10.7 nmol/L, P <.001), and vitamin D (98.4 ± 28.7 nmol/L versus 90.0 ± 34.5 nmol/L, P = .002) were observed in users compared with nonusers after 1 year. Less new deficiencies were found for ferritin (1% versus 4%, P = .029), vitamin B12 (9% versus 23%, P <.001), and vitamin D (0% versus 4%, P <.001) in users compared with nonusers. Two and 3 years after the surgery these findings remained almost identical. Conclusions The use of specialized multivitamin supplements resulted in less deficiencies of vitamin B12, vitamin D, folic acid, and ferritin. The study showed that Roux-en-Y gastric bypass patients benefited from the specialized multivitamin supplements and it should be advised to this patient group. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Retroperitoneal sarcomas are rare and heterogeneous tumors. We here report two cases of liposarcoma in the renal compartment with a literature review in order to emphasize on the anatomical and surgical features of this tumor location and on its possible prognostic implications. The first reported case was a 45-year old female patient with liposarcoma at the level of the left renal compartment. The diagnosis of myxoid liposarcoma was based on anatomo-pathological examination of the surgical specimen. The second reported case was a 70-year old man with liposarcoma at the level of the right renal compartment. The diagnosis of dedifferentiated liposarcoma was based on anatomo-pathological examination of the surgical specimen. Retroperitoneal sarcomas are often diagnosed with a palpable mass. The gold standard treatment is complete tumor resection with healthy resection margins and without damage or rupture. For this purpose resection involving adjacent organs is recommended by some authors. However the anatomical constraints of tretroperitoneal compartment and the often important tumor volume limit the possibilities to achieve a satisfactory resection. CT scan and MRI are very useful imaging techniques. Histological diagnosis poses some problems; therefore immunohistochemistry and sometimes molecular biology are significantly helpful. Patient evolution is marked by the frequent occurrence of recurrences. A specialized multidisciplinary management of these rare and very varied tumors is recommended in order to optimize therapeutic outcomes. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This study was part of a major evaluation project with focus on various models for and effects of reablement. The aim was to get an extended understanding of how Norwegian municipalities organize and conduct reablement. Seven focus group interviews were conducted in seven municipalities including a total of 33 participants representing different health professions. The interviews were transcribed, and a hermeneutical approach was used in the analyses. Four main themes were derived: "The team as an organizational and professional center", "Collaboration around assessment of applications", "Different understanding of rehabilitation affected the organization", and "Goal - oriented and intensive training in everyday activities". The focus group interviews revealed different strength and weaknesses with specialized or integrated organization of reablement, but nevertheless they emphasized the importance of having interdisciplinary teams that can coordinate and participate in the practical implementation. Introduction: Developing course plan is essential for an effective education. to evaluate the course plan implementation, students can be surveyed. This study aim to assess the compliance between what the teachers' taught and the course plans of various courses from the viewpoint of students who enrolled in the School of Public Health (SPH) of Mashhad University of Medical Science (MUMS.(Methods: In this descriptive and cross- sectional study, 138 students were asked about specialized course plans implementation in the second semester of the academic year 2011-2012 year. A6-scale Likert questionnaire which has been designed for each course separately were used to gather data which has been analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test and ANOVA by SPSS 16.5 at 0.05 significant level.Results: Minimum and Maximum compliances were 18.8% and 100% respectively. On average, the compliances was 77.0±20.6. No significant correlations were observed between academic rank and compliances of taught content. Ultrasonography is one of the most common imaging modality used in dental as well as medical sciences. The use of ultrasonography when discovered was as a therapeutic aid, but in recent times, it has become one of the most common imaging modality next to conventional radiology. Currently, its use as a therapeutic aid has been rediscovered along with its association with other specialized imaging. The aim of this paper is to highlight such advancements in the field of ultrasonography.

A purpose of work is an analysis of data of modern scientific literature for organizations and maintenances of physical education of students of higher educational establishments. An analysis over of 273 publications of domestic and foreign scientists and researchers is brought. Estimation over of positions of conception of development of students’ physical internals, co-ordination and co-ordinating capabilities are brought on employments on physical education. Data of modern scientific literature are considered on development and perfection of motive internals and co-ordinating capabilities of modern youth. The problems of health of modern young man level are shown. It is well-proven that the professional capabilities of modern teacher are straight related to good physical preparedness. The further ways of development of motive capabilities of young people are certain. Finding allows establishing that is now accumulated there is enough material which allows stepping over through the traditional aspects of pedagogical process of mastering the man of motive abilities and skills. Untraditional ways are shown to the process of physical education of students of pedagogical higher educational establishments.

Purpose of work - to expose important physical qualities of teacher, personal properties and psychophysiological qualities professionally. Also to expose requirement to motive preparedness of teachers. 674 teachers of middle schools of city of Kiev and Kiev area took part in an experiment. It is set that professional activity requires a display typical professionally the important personal qualities: communicability, of principle, tolerance, kindness, sympathy, empathy, eloquence. It is exposed that to professionally important physical qualities of teacher it is possible to take general and local (hands, feet, back, neck) static endurance, force of basic muscular groups and power endurance of hands, exactness and speed of motive reaction. It is well-proven that it is necessary to take to the most essential psychophysiological qualities: perception, memory, imagination, restraint, ability quickly to make a decision, ability to work in a nervous situation, ability expressly to execute the tasks in the conditions of emotional tension, good reaction. It is marked that an important role in mastering of profession and achievement of tops of professionalism is played by the use of values of physical education in providing of the proper health, physical and spiritual development, motive preparedness level.

Purpose of work - to educe professionally important physical internalss, personal properties and requirements to motive preparedness of teachers. It is set that implementation of professional duties requires from teachers of high schools of display of general endurance, force of muscles of back, neck, stomach and hands (especially brushes). It allows to count the indicated internalss professionally important. The terms of enhanceable nervously - emotional excitation foresee requirements to adaptation possibilities of workers, their psychical firmness and physical capacity. It is necessary to distinguish from a number psychophysical functions attention (distribution, volume), memory, even temper, communicability and firmness to stresses. It is set that insufficient physical preparedness of teachers straight influences on fatigueability in the process of work. It is educed, that most teachers see a benefit in the specialized physical preparation of students to the future profession.

Objective: To assess the characteristics of early supplementary feeding and socioeconomic and demographic characteristics of families of children aged 0-59 months with respiratory diseases. Methods: A comparison of data from two population-based cross-sectional studies conducted in Rio Grande / RS, in 1995 and 2004 in order to observe changes in prevalence. Results: In both studies we perceived that the majority of children received water, teas, juices, soups and fruits before six months. In contrast, powdered milk, cow milk, meats and bean were introduced after the sixth month of life to most children. In both studies, there was greater proportion of families with incomes up to 5.9 minimum wages, with up to 8 completed years of schooling, adequate housing conditions, married women, with a son and birth intervals longer than 3 years. Conclusions: We observed, in both studies, that the introduction of food before the sixth month of life is still common in this population, although during this period the children should be under exclusive breastfeeding.

In the article a question is examined about influence of acrobatic exercises on specially motive activity of sportsmen-cheerleading and role of acrobatic preparation in the training process of cheerleading on the stage of the specialized base preparation. Information is presented about efficiency of the use of acrobatic elements by sportsmen for implementation of technical activity in cheerleading. Complex a test tasks are offered for to technical and acrobatic preparations of sportsmen-cheerleading. The results of cross-correlation analysis are resulted; the set is unknown function of closeness of authenticity for the indexes of technical preparedness.

Specializing family court is among those cases which has been the center of attention throughout the world. Due to the importance of family crisis and it's complications, it is a must to have special courts to probe into family cases. In addition to the above mentioned reasons the performance of the courts and consequences of such cases in relation to the interest of the society necessary for the establishment of these special courts for family crisis, to prevent crimes and it's effects on society. The present article addresses the legal changes of family courts and the requirement of family institution and organization in two parts. The writer believes that only some specific courts are allocated to family cases, but in reality they are not specialized. The legislature and judiciary should consider establishing special consultation centers, with executive power and special police, social workers and a collective social services. On the other hand due to it's complications it is necessary to pay special attention to family court judges. To enjoy different opinions of various men and women judges, and give special privileges to the judges of family crisis.

Purpose : study the effect of various features on the structure and orientation of exercise routines on the level of development of force capabilities bodybuilders on stage specialized basic training. Material : studies participated 60 athletes (age 18-19 years, the experience of training - 5 years). The study used a method of determining the index of the training load for the power sports. Level security features athletes determined by control testing. Control of the studied parameters was carried out for 4 months training at intervals of 1 month.
