Apiculture is an important industry closely related to the national economy and people's livelihoods. Beekeepers' behavior is an important factor affecting the yield, quality, and benefits of apiculture. However, there is a lack of a systematic understanding of the long-term changes in beekeeping decisions made by beekeepers. Using panel data, we analyzed the dynamic trends and related influencing factors of decisions made by beekeeping models, honey source plant selection, and the migration flow space of beekeepers from 2009 to 2020. The results showed that the proportion of the LMB model decreased, while the PAB and SMB models continued to increase, the frequency of utilization of the main nectar source plants for honey collection decreased, and the concentration of migratory flow of beekeeping increased. Behavior of beekeepers from 2009 to 2020 showed a certain degree of spatial contraction, which seriously restricted the effective use of nectar plant resources. Family attributes, economic status, beekeeping models, and disaster conditions directly or indirectly affected beekeepers' decisions. We propose a series of recommendations to facilitate the transformation and advancement of the Chinese bee industry. This study promotes an understanding of sustainable development of the bee industry in China and other countries worldwide. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This paper addresses some fundamental aesthetic (and thus political) questions which arise when faced with the problem of the representation of migratory flows in documentary cinema: how to represent in an unprecedented way a 'crisis' that has long been preponderant, omnipresent in the European mediascape? Subsequently, more generally speaking, by what means should a crisis be represented in cinema? That is to say, what form should be given to an image of crisis, if such a thing exists, at a time when what is in crisis is representation itself? By what means can we regain the efficiency of images when they have lost all their power through multiplication? How can meaning be restored to the gaze? This text aims to shed some light on these interrogations based on the analysis of two examples of contemporary documentaries which deal, directly or indirectly, with the interrelation between digital flows and migratory flows: Havarie (2016) by Philipp Scheffner and The Migrating Image (2018) by Stefan Kruse Jorgensen. The increase in extreme weather phenomena, environmental pollution, and climate change poses a new major challenge to not only fragile and conflict-affected states but also European capitalist societies facing new migratory flows. In this context, migratory phenomena represent a symptom of the great changes taking place and an opportunity to rethink our life systems. They also pose new challenges to European redistributive mechanisms and new social demands, desires, and expectations to fulfill. To this end, it is necessary to understand the determinants, characteristics, and magnitude of this phenomenon and imagine new strategies for integration. While sustainable development seems to represent the only available driver for producing a new great paradigmatic transformation to cope with environmental degradation, poverty, famine, inequalities, etc., we wonder what constitutes the sustainability of welfare, which is increasingly being discussed today. To answer these questions, the researchers conducted an extensive secondary analysis of the migration data present in the Eurostat database and those of key European institutions. Subsequently, they extensively surveyed the literature to reconstruct the state-of-the-art on sustainable welfare. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Article 318 bis, the only precept of Title XV bis of Book II of the Penal Code, bears the heading "crimes against the rights of foreign citizens", but are the rights of foreign citizens the ones that are being protected by this precept? Through the systematic analysis of crimes against the rights of foreign citizens and, dwelling on each of its elements, we reach a very different conclusion, which has required a special analysis of the protected legal right, of the different problems that have raised this criminal figure and the supranational regulations that have guided the steps of the Spanish legislator in the matter. Amenity migration demonstrates a conscious desire to migrate to rural areas, in most cases influenced by the attraction of natural or cultural comforts. The objective of this article is to examine research trends on amenity migration in rural areas, metropolitan rural areas, and intermediate cities in Latin America. The method consisted of a qualitative design framed within a state-of-the-art review. In the results, the different conceptual terms used to describe this phenomenon are detailed, the Latin American countries where these migratory flows occur are georeferenced, and the theoretical and methodological approaches of the studies are also expanded upon. The discussion highlights the gaps in current research and the challenges for studying these new human mobilities. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The results of studying the implemented reproduction of local migratory flows of the Taimyr wild reindeer population in the middle reaches of the Pyasina River, at the border of the western and central parts of the Taimyr Peninsula (71°30′–71°43′ N), Siberia, in the postnatal period in 2007, are presented. Comparison of reproduction in two different migratory flows has shown a lower fecundity in the Puropyasina branch of the reindeer population, with 47 calves per 100 adult females recorded. These rates were 64 calves per 100 adult females in the second, Tareya–Pyasina local branch. In both migratory flows studied (n = 546) with various levels of barrenness, animals of all reproductive ages, ranging from two to 16 years, were involved in breeding in different age groups. However, the maximum contribution to reproduction belongs to seven-year-old females, the most numerous and fecund generation in both flows. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The purpose of this paper is to contribute to the body of knowledge on the first human occupations predating MIS 21 in the Atapuerca karst system. These occupations are described in terms of their ecological, cultural and technological context based on the Sima del Elefante and Gran Dolina sites. This paper focuses on the lower units of these sedimentary infills, specifically Unit TE9 of Sima del Elefante and Unit TD4 of Gran Dolina. In addition, evidence of the earliest human settlements in Europe is reviewed and hypotheses about the dynamics and intensity of that settlement are proposed. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The migratory phenomenon of the 1980s in Europe is characterized by political and economic changes in the East-West region, which led to the emigration of the populations from the former socialist states to the countries of Western Europe, economically developed countries. In this context, the developed countries have taken restrictive measures. Regarding the migration of the 1990s, the analysis reveals that the form of migration from this time is a labor force and temporary migration called "pendular" in the EU countries, the situation being different from previous migrations that were predominantly permanent With regard to the mobility of the Romanian labor force in the European Union, finding a job is the main cause of emigration. On this background, it is noted that men are particularly focused in the construction sector, while women find a job easier in domestic services. This situation exposes Romanians, especially men, to an increased risk of unemployment.

The dynamics of capitalist development in the Brazilian field have produced social, economic and environmental consequences. Among them, we highlight in this article, the migratory flows of seasonal workers in the apple harvest. This study aimed to identify the trajectories and the different categories of these workers. Qualitative tools of an ethnographic character were used, with semi-directive interviews and participant observation. The theoretical framework was based on ethnographic studies of rural workers and analysis of foucaultian power relations. As a result, different trajectories were identified as: "to be in the stretch", "like an ant" and settled. The conclusion demonstrates the set of asymmetries caused by the development process and the continuous and seasonal itinerancy of these workers. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The involuntary migratory flows from Africa to Europe have raised new theoretical and methodological challenges for psychologists who find themselves managing the critical situations of migrants at the borders. Among other factors, the psychological distress experienced by some of them appears to be strongly conditioned by religious beliefs which, in turn, makes it difficult to diagnose and treat them properly according to the tradition of Euro-American psychology. Indeed, the risk is to apply western medical and psychiatric categories to the mental health issues of migrants, missing the meaning that the expressed distress could be acquired within a different cultural framework. The present contribution describes a clinical case developed in a migrant camp in Italy, initially framed as "hallucinatory psychosis". After the deconstruction of this diagnostic label, a few therapeutic practices will be outlined. These are derived from the Dialogical Self Theory and from the social constructionist concept of Multi-Being, which are considered particularly suitable for understanding psychological distress in a multicultural setting and for planning interventions in troubled situations of involuntary migration. COVID-19 pandemic ,ECONOMIES of agglomeration ,PUBLIC spaces ,HUMAN mechanics ,MODERN society - Abstract
This study examines how the Covid-19 pandemic crises has not only modi- fied networks and rhythms of human movement and migratory flows on both a global and local scale; yet it also has weakened the hegemony of the prevailing paradigm that considers urban densification as "the" way to achieve resilience, innovation, and wellbeing. While recognizing that the factors of agglomeration favouring cities and densely populated places are still very significant in our contemporary society and economy, the study critically review the notion of the unidirectionality of progress and human and economic development from the metropolis to the rest, from the city to the countryside and the mountains. Rather, the analytical challenging perspective this contribute proposes is to adopt a new approach, able to take into consideration the "whole" and the complementary nature of its parts, by bringing rural places to the centre of public and academic debate and promoting the collective awareness that the future of the entire country also depends on the civil, social, and political enhancement of internal areas. Sardinian Cinema ,Immigrants ,Migratory Flows ,Representation ,Film Studies ,Participatory Cinema ,Language and Literature - Abstract
According to figures from the latest demographic statistics, there are more than 55.000 foreign citizens in Sardinia (3,4% of the total resident population), and this number is expected to grow over the next few years. As an island exposed to frequent social and commercial exchanges throughout its history, Sardinia represents a fertile scenario for multicultural and multiracial encounter, not to mention linguistic contamination and variety. On the one hand, Sardinian literature has extensively recounted the presence of istràngius (‘strangers, foreigners’) in the island over the past centuries. On the other hand, Sardinian cinema has recently discovered the high potential of the migratory phenomenon as a current issue to narrate on screen. This paper aims to reflect upon the presence and representation of foreign people in Sardinian film and audio-visual productions, through the analysis of documentaries, short and feature films which, since the early 2000s, have shown the arrival of immigrants in Sardinia, as well as the process of cultural integration in the island territory.

HUMAN migration patterns , *RETURN migration , *ECONOMIC expansion , *LABOR market , *FINANCIAL crises - Abstract
The immigration from Latin America and the Caribbean to Spain in the turn of the century has been broadly studied since it originated flows of a large amount in times of economic expansion (1998-2007), when the Spanish labour market demanded workforce in the secondary segments. Since 2008 a shortening of inflows occurred as well as an increase of the return and ongoing migrations, consistent with the intensity of the economic crisis. These flows diminish during the incipient post-crisis period (2015-2017) and immigration resumes. With the target to deepen in these trends, this study is based on information provided by the Residential Variation Statistics microdata, which allows us to characterize the evolution of Latin Americans' migrations to and from Spain. The sequence of these flows, regarding the countries of origin, and their features according to the age-sex patterns, inform us of disparate dynamics and differentiated migratory cycles, as well as of changes that point to a reconfiguration of migration trends throughout the study stage and of more intense and complex forms of mobility. This paper presents the dynamics of a medium-sized city, Pelotas, located in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. It aims to problematize the analysis of migratory flows, which impact the morphology of the city, resulting from state interventions with private initiative. To highlight this reality, data from the research linked to the City Conflict Observatory of the Graduate Program in Social Policy and Human Rights of the Catholic University of Pelotas will be presented. The phenomenon of the Italian migration proved to be intense and diverse as regards the territorial origins, but also social diversity. Migration is the process involving people of different social status and economic, cultural, religious changes in the society accepting it. The abandonment of the original area by people in order to settle in other areas depended on political, economic or natural factors. The Italian migratory process became a great migration to America, Australia and mainly in Europe. Searching for a safer or better future, Italians came to Romania as well, establishing steady communities.

- Abstract
the importance of the labor market and its labor needs are determining factors in a large part of contemporary migratory flows. In the case of Spain, this dimension is even more relevant and the immigration that has occurred in the last 20-25 years is highly conditioned by the Spanish socioeconomic structure and its characteristics. The region of the Basque Country, one of the most economically developed region in Spain, is no stranger to this logic and the migratory flows that have reached this territory arte highly linked to its labor market, characterized by an important relevance of the technological industry, a low importance of sectors such as agriculture, building sector or tourist. Finally, the native population has an high purchasing power. These characteristics mean that the percentage of the population of foreign origin is not very high and that the Latin American population predominates, almost half of the total, within this group. In the same way, immigration in the Basque County is very feminized and above all responds to the needs of the native middle classes -Domestic work and personal care-. Finally, it's noteworthy that these flows, especially in the case of the Latin American population, appear totally linked to economic cycles, in such a way that a significant increase in arrivals is detected in the last 2-3 years, coinciding with a economic boom period and a post-crisis scenario. This communication explores the different approaches with which migrations have been analyzed in the context of current globalization, with the purpose of identifying viable solution alternatives to the problems presented by the violation of their rights, and the diversity of approaches to control of the migratory flows. In the same way, it explores as variables the right to asylum for reasons of insecurity and economic instability, and to a progressive labor mobility to face the dynamics of migratory flows as a consequence of the globalization of inequalities. Our premise is that the lack of legal recognition in international or regional instruments, of human rights to asylum for reasons of insecurity and organized crime, and labor mobility, inhibit coordination efforts between countries of origin and recipients in the management of the migratory flows. This paper analyses the phenomenon of immigration from the point of view of political and social actors. It particularly deals with the role the political parties and the parliamentary groups play in the defense and criticism of the migration policies that are applied. To reach this aim, a brief diagnosis of the recent immigration history in our country and the legislative policies has been carried out. This has been followed by an analysis of the electoral program of the four national parties, with the aim to show if the politicization of immigration and the citizens´ view over the same subject acquires its references in the mentioned programs or on the contrary it is guided daily by the parliamentary groups and means of communication.

The article presents firstly a historical and sociological overview of migratory flows from China to the rest of the world and in particular to Italy, identifying five phases based on a series of variables: the diversity of the area of origin, the type of migratory flows, the aims and characteristics of migratory projects, the diversity of the Chinese government's policy on migration, the more or less strong role played by the attraction factors present in the West, the characteristics of the territory of departure and arrival. Secondly, the results of an exploratory study carried out in 2017 on two Chinese Christian evangelical churches in Italy, the «Chinese Evangelical Christian Church» and the «Chinese Christian Church revival» are illustrated. The typology of leadership, the characteristics of the community and of the cult, the possible links w ith the other religious communities present in Italy and in particular with Catholicism are examined in depth. The traditional analysis of human rights is subsumed in a series of assumptions from which is assumed that the guarantee of this rights is supported by the constructs that make up the legal order of modern nations, a situation that ignores the existing gap between the obligations that fall on the public administration (in human rights issues) and the material possibilities of the State to have the resources, instruments and procedures that are required so that in reality the obligations on which the guarantee of rights refer to materialize, taking as analysis variables the multidimensionality and simultaneity that the exercise of the public function supposes with regard to fundamental rights, from the perspective of the best interests of the minor in the analysis of the right to education for Venezuelan migrant children and adolescents In Colombia. The numerous immigrations during the last decades have increased the number of foreign students, which has changed the education system. Contemporary classrooms have become diverse spaces in which cultures coexist and exchange with each other, i.e., they are intercultural spaces. For this reason, there is a need for teachers who are increasingly better prepared in the cultural sphere, the ones who know how to deal with the prejudices of native families and know the essential tools for extracting the virtues of diversity. This Final Degree Project will carry out a bibliographic search to understand the roots of interculturality, the importance of intercultural education, the legislation that protects foreign pupils and, finally, the role of teachers in the schooling process of foreign children. Furthermore, through a socio-critical analysis, a proposal for intervention in an intercultural educational context will be proposed, where the shortcomings of current education in cultural matters will be demonstrated. Abstract: This study aims to analyze the spatial configuration, magnitude, and sociodemographic characterization of return flows, by observing migratory flow typologies in the department of Atlántico. This article intends to bring geographic theory closer to return studies, concerning positioning, spatial mobility, and selectiveness patterns in migratory profiles. In the light of the diverse research approaches, several statistical, bibliographic, documentary sources, and spatial analysis were mixed. Data analysis was addressed in three stages: space-time dimension, location patterns, and selectiveness of sociodemographic features. Findings show the massive prominence of return in the Atlántico department, as characterized by a linear South-South two-way path, which is associated to the intense migration flows from Venezuela, along with some territorial location patterns in the immigration-return correlation, and a positive selection of return feminization in migratory profile.

Evidence-based policymaking has become crucial in the area of asylum. In an attempt to offer a critical overview of the role and weight of ‘evidence’ in the current phase of reform of the Common European Asylum System (CEAS), this article illustrates how evidence-based policymaking in EU asylum law presents a number of pitfalls. Lack of a full impact assessment, instrumentalization of data and oversimplification of the available evidence, adversely impact the effectiveness of the CEAS. Conversely, the article aims to unfold the potential that the use of evidence may have in improving the quality of the EU legislation, by reflecting on its impact on migrants. The article will, therefore, propose that the use of evidence from a user’s perspective, namely from the point of view of those subjects that are mostly affected by the legislation, can contribute to the teleological effectiveness of the CEAS: ensuring adequate protection for third-country nationals in need for it.

Current migration processes require special assessment and attention due to their complexity and multiple socio-economic implications. The forms of international migration have only recently intensified in Romania due to the barriers imposed by the former communist regime, but their influence on population dynamics is certainly significant and the effects on national economy and demographic vitality of the country are undeniable. Although mainly recognized as an emigration country at the beginning of the post-communist period, Romania is recently going through a period of accentuated intensification of immigrant flows. Starting with the 1990s, the share of immigrant flows in the net international migration balance has changed in dynamics, motivations, structure, specialization, forms, spatial intensity and consequences etc. This research presents a territorialized analysis of immigration to Romania in the period comprised between 1990-2017, which presents a high mediatic and scientific interest, given the volume and importance of the phenomenon. The objective of this work is to analyze the role of the State in the organization of urban space and subsequently to promote a debate on the urban structure of the metropolitan area of Port-au-Prince in Haiti. The purpose of establishing new prospects for socioeconomic development, following the natural disasters that occurred after the earthquake of January 12, 2010 and in the change of the direction of the migratory flows of the Haitian territory. Due to the decentralization of public and private services, the expansion of urban networks under Haitian territory, and the difficulties in suppressing the basic necessities in the most important region of the country, caused in the process of urbanization exacerbated during the final decades of the twentieth century and the prelude of this century.

The use of genetic information for anthropological purposes requires an effort by the researcher to deal with the ethical issues that may arise. In some cases, these can lead to rather complex relationships between anthropologists and communities. The transparency of the research protocol is a fundamental requirement in order to establish a relationship based on trust and to conduct investigations in the most ethically sustainable way. In addition, researchers must take into consideration further aspects regarding the indigenous conceptions of corporeity, memory and history. Knowledge of these characteristics can help in the interpretation of results produced by the geneticists, and constitute a series of social, political and cultural responses. By involving the communities being investigated and engaging in a frequent and fruitful dialogue with their members will make it possible for anthropologists to learn more and also provide useful answers for the populations themselves.

Illegal immigration is often approached with apprehension because of its impact on the labor market and its strong involvement in the informal economy. National laws, including Algerian law, ensure the regulation of foreigners’ work and penalize the employment of illegal migrants. This does not prevent the migratory flow from reaching disturbing proportions, and beyond the accountability of states and companies, this phenomenon calls into question the reception and employment strategies of migrants, and invites reflection to integration policies of migrants in economic development.

In this article, we investigate spatial mobility in Angra dos Reis, a medium-sized city located in the south of the State of Rio de Janeiro, to understand the recent urban dynamics of the city and its insertion in the urban network. More specifically, we seek to determine the importance and the profile of the migratory flows that are affecting the city, as well as possible changes in the period 1980-2010. Globally, Angra dos Reis has a significant migration potential, resulting of a certain economic dynamism, which contributed strongly to its demographic growth. The article also shows that the city has a limited capacity of population retention, and that it is mainly the middle e upper classes that leave the city. Migration is not a new phenomenon. Starting with the modern era, and continuing with the contemporary one, migration slowly became a means helping the development of capitalism. Due to market competition and to the need for cheap working force the cost of human capital lowered, thus triggering the migration phenomenon. Briefly, people originating in underdeveloped countries started to move towards economically developed countries. That is also the case of the Romanian migration phenomenon, developed after 1990. It can be easily included in this global contemporary phenomenon.

- Abstract
Desta maneira procurarase responder a un dos principais interrogantes do traballo: é real a famosa integración dos inmigrantes en Burela?, Immigration in Burela: demographic, social and economic aspects is the title I have chosen for my Final Degree Project. The starting hypothesis of the work is that Burela is the Lugo city council with the best vegetative balance, the youngest in the province and one of the youngest in Galicia, in addition its population has grown by 20% in the last 20 years. With this work I intend to offer a global vision about the history of the migrations that took place in this Mariñano municipality, as well as to analyze the consequences that the arrival of immigrants of very different nationalities had for its population, its society and its economy. For the preparation of this work, a bibliographic review of the subject of immigration in Spain and Galicia is necessary, to have a broader vision and know the context, as well as conducting surveys of people who live this situation closely, as public workers of the municipality, neighbors and also the protagonists of the work, immigrants. In this way, an attempt will be made to answer one of the main questions of the work: is the famous integration of immigrants in Burela real?

- Abstract
This study presents theoretical and statistical data on Brazilian immigration to the Lisbon Metropolitan Area (AML) in the last ten years. Among immigrants residing in Portugal, Brazilians are the majority. The research problem is to determine the causes of immigration. The research used the method of observation of references already written on the subject and the statistical method, which enabled the quantification of data presented by official entities. The conclusion is that there is a growth in the number of Brazilian immigrants in the AML, what is not surprising, because previous data already revealed the preponderance of Brazilians in the region. Perspectives are for the continuity of migratory flows, especially after the normalization of international movements in the post-pandemic., O presente estudo apresenta dados teóricos e estatísticos relativos à imigração de brasileiros para a Área Metropolitana de Lisboa (AML) nos últimos dez anos.

The migrations constitute an important factor in the international interchanges because they generate wealth for both populations of origin and of reception. In order that his perverse effects disappear it is necessary to seek to reduce like between all the existing abysses between the economies of the rich countries and those of Africa. The perverse effect of these movements, the illegal or clandestine immigration, is not a new phenomenon. This way of emigrating was tolerated by many countries of destiny, from the 50s up to the economic crisis and the crisis of the oil of the 70s. The permissiveness owed a lack to itself in the juridical regulation of the migratory flows (absence of laws and of a frontier strict control) that was justifying itself for the need of growth of the European economies in a context of post-war period. This article tries to value the phenomenon of the illegal migrations today for the Strait of Gibraltar.

The unsustainable pressure concerning the national asylum systems, especially in Greece and Italy, generated by the severe humanitarian crisis and the tragedy undergone by hundreds of thousands of persons, many of them in clear need for international protection, has not managed to be mitigated throughout the emergency mechanisms taken to address them by the EU. This situation arouses serious flaws in the system of international protection and structural deficiencies in the regulatory package of the current CEAS. New principles have been developed, the need to reform the CEAS forms part and parcel of the current EU agenda. This research approaches not only a detailed analysis regarding to the mechanisms implemented by the EU to cope with the critical situation but also the impact on a future CEAS reform. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
