More recently, competition issues have not only focused on the private sector, but have become increasingly important in public administration, especially in the field of education. The thesis focuses on the issue of the competitive environment of secondary schools in Prague and the Central Bohemian Region, which provide education in the educational program Public administration. The selection of these schools was based on an analysis of the education market. The aim of this work is to find out what the competitive characteristics of secondary vocational schools are through the lens of individual headmasters. The thesis is divided into two parts. In the theoretical part, a competition-oriented literature survey is conducted. The survey then provides an up-to-date view of the perception of the competition in education in the world by various authors and scholarly articles. The chapter entitled Quality in Education characterizes the Quality of the school according to the Czech School Inspection and also serves as a basis for the practical part. The theoretical part is further developed by a chapter focusing on the description of secondary education and the description of the Framework Education Programme. This work is devoted to the issue of competitiveness and the market position of the company. The aim of this diploma thesis is to utilize the practical use of selected methods of strategic management to evaluate the current competitiveness of the company WASH ART and based on the results, design a suitable strategy to strengthen its position on the market. PEST analysis, Porter's analysis of five competitive forces, VRIO analysis, analysis of the company's exposure and marketing research carried out using questionnaires were utilized in order to evaluate the company and collect the data required to evaluate the appropriate strategy. Findings were then used to design a plan that the company should follow in order to meet the goal of strengthening its position on the market.

The aim of the thesis was to evaluate the competitiveness of a selected company using the methods of strategic management and financial analysis. To fulfill the goal, a literary review was first made. In the practical part, the theoretical knowledge was applied to a selected company. The methods performed include: PEST analysis, Porter's five forces model, competitor analysis, analysis of industry attractiveness, financial analysis, evaluation of human resources management, key success factors and competitiveness analysis. In order to fulfill the goal, a questionnaire survey and a guided interview with the company manager was conducted in the next part. The results of the implemented strategic management methods were summarized by elaborating a SWOT analysis. Subsequently, appropriate recommendations were proposed to strengthen the competitiveness of the organization.

This diploma thesis deals with the causes of division of customer preferences towards individual retail units in the town of Blatná in order to recommend proposals for improvement for the consumer cooperative COOP. The theoretical overview provides basic information about food retailers in the Czech Republic, presents the formats of stores, attitudes of shoppers to food stores, individual elements of the retail mix or other factors influencing customer attitudes towards the store which can be influenced by retailers. The practical part relates to the food chains in Blatná and it is focused on identifying the respondents' favourite and main shopping place, the reasons for dividing customer preferences towards retail units, researching attitudes toward retail units and evaluating the retail mix of these stores. The practical part consists of two parts, a questionnaire survey focused on customers of food stores in Blatná, and research from these stores. Subsequently, it is possible to define respondents' attitudes towards food retailers in Blatná and their buying behavior. The survey in retail formats is used to identify and evaluate the core elements of the retail mix of individual stores. Thanks to these procedures it is possible to define improvement suggestions for COOP Tip in Blatná.

The bachelor thesis deals with how to change the long-term perception of the Navigatour yacht brand in the mind of customers. The theoretical part deals with the essence and importance of the brand, companies corporate culture and the process of repositioning. The practical part describes recreational yachting, the functioning of company Navigatour and on the basis of collection and analysis of primary data is proposed the procedure of reposingioning campaign in the area of change of perception of the company in the mind of costumers.

Pozornost je věnována také internacionalizaci českých začínajících podniků. Teoretická část je zaměřena na obecné otázky týkající se tématu tohoto článku, empirická část je založena na výzkumu pomocí polostrukturovaných rozhovorů a dotazníkového šetření podnikatelů. Během tohoto výzkumu provedeného v letech 2018-2019 bylo vyšetřováno 150 českých začínajících podniků za účelem sběru dat. Účelem tohoto článku je podat zprávu o soupisu opatření použitých k překonání bariér inovací v českých začínajících (MSP) a také bariér internacionalizace. The attention is also paid to the internationalization of Czech start-ups. The theoretical part is aimed at general issues concerning the topic of this article, the empirical one is based on research using semi-structured interviews and the questionnaire investigating entrepreneurs. During this research performed in 2018-2019, 150 Czech start-ups were investigated to collect data. The purpose of this article is to report on an inventory of measures employed to overcome barriers to innovation in Czech start-ups (SMEs) and also to barriers to the internationalization. It examines the impact of such variables as actions for continuous improvement, pressures for cost-cutting, aspects of internal management systems, interests in working with a foreign business partner, innovativeness, and structures for managing product and process innovation in Czech SMEs

The aim of the bachelor is to evaluate the competitiveness of selected company ABC s.r.o. The work contains six chapters. In the work are explained the concepts of competition, competitiveness. Further, the procedures of specific methods that analyze competitiveness are explained. In the next part is introduced the company ABC s.r.o. Individual analyzes that evaluate competitiveness are applied to the company. This diploma thesis deals with the competitiveness of automotive industry of the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland and Hungary, therefore countries of the V4. The main aim of the thesis is to evaluate the mutual position and to identify differences amongst individual countries of the V4. Thus the theoretical part of the thesis deals with defining concept of competitiveness, its possibilities of measurement, competitive advantages, the role of state, industries and companies, last not least it defines concept of clusters. Furthermore, the practical part of the thesis defines individual automotive markets of the V4 countries throughout dislocation of main producers, structural composition of production and its gross value added. The aim of the bachelor thesis is the evaluation of the competitiveness of enter-prise ABC s. r. o. The thesis is divided into two parts. The first part includes an explanation of the concepts of competition, competitiveness, competitive ad-vantage and theory of used analysis. The second part uses individual analysis for enterprise ABC s. r. o. and comparison of the enterprise with the competitors. The goal of my bachelor theses was to develop a business plan and its financial analysis. First, I worked out my theoretic and methodological part, I verified what a legal form of enterprise to choose and how to proceed in the preparation of my business plan. Bachelor thesis is dealing with LCC, their development and current situation, also with the transformation of the core LCC business model into new business model, that combines features of LCC and traditional carriers. There are listed all the LCC that can be found at Prague Airport, they are briefly described and the way, how they try to differentiate from other carriers. In the last part, there is a survey and the results of this survey. The survey aims to give an advice to LCC how to attract Czech customers, what is the main deciding feature for them and on what they should focus. In the first part of the thesis, concepts of the textile industry, enterprise and its features for successful operation on the domestic and international markets with strong competition at the present time are defined, including a description of innovations and innovations with regard to the textile industry. Therefore, the thesis is aimed at choosing the best machine out of two options from different foreign suppliers based on the conceptions and requirements of the shareholders of Microtex a.s. This innovation will definitely result in a competitive advantage of the company by expanding its product portfolio as well as other benefits both in the company and in its external environment. The external environment means a municipality where the enterprise resides. The analysis of connection between the company and municipality is based on qualitative interviews with the shareholders and employees (simultaneously inhabitants) of the company and with the mayor as well as on studying documents and files provided by the company and the municipality.

Thesis on Analysis of Competitiveness of CZ TOP TRADE Ltd. mainly deals with the ability to compete with companies, who are on the Czech market in the engineering. To determine competitiveness and competitive advantage, I used both internal company environment and external. I have subsumed here Analysis of internal company environment and also analysis of external company environment like Porters model of five forces, PEST analysis and everything I summerized in the SWOT analysis. I applied mentioned above analysis. The results of this analysis I came to the conlusion that the company is able to compete against their competitors and I have prosposed changes, which schould to increase market share.

This graduation thesis deals with the analysis of the process quality management in the chosen organization. There exist many reasons why should the companies implement the system of the quality management. From the point of view of the producers the quality represents a tool. Thanks to this tool is reached the loyalty of the customers, reduced their perceptiveness on a potential price change and kept the competitive position of the company. The goal of the dissertation was the analysis of the process quality management in the chosen organization and determination of the proposals leading to the improvement of this process. The measures which I proposed could improve the processes of the realization of the foundry products, increase the customers' satisfaction, increase the loyalty of the workers and contribute to the overall improvement of the quality management system of the company Sytech.

When developing this thesis the main goal was to see how corporations impact society through new legislations giving them the right to act as individuals or humans. Gradually examining the impact on humans through CSR with analysis on how the implementation of CSR affects the performance of the business. A more theoretical approach is taken since Corporate Social Responsibility and Corporate Personhood are hard to classify since interpretation is dependent on individuals and cultures implemented within. The approach taken was to examine two cases including Enron and British Petroleum and see how their social practices affected society and the environment in general. Also the examination of research done from others was analyzed in order to find whether there was a correlation between CSR and the performance of the firm. The results concluded that there is a positive correlation between corporations implementing CSR initiatives and the overall performance of the business. It is also seen that businesses implement CSR to offset negative impacts. This supports the outcome of Enron and British Petroleum that if CSR would have been implemented correctly there is a great chance of success for the future. In overview it shows that for a corporation to improve it is success and become more competitive within the industry it is best to implement CSR tools in the correct way to create a competitive advantage. Reinforcing that being transparent and true will help the business succeed.

The Aim of this bachelors thesis is to compile an competition analysis of the firm iStyle, s.r.o. And to suggest recommendations to improve competitiveness and position on the market for the future development of the firm. The thesis is divides in two parts which are theoretical and practical. This thesis deals with public relations and competitiveness in selected high school in Trebon from the perspective of the customer - the student and parents. The theoretical part describes public relations as a marketing communication tool, its definition and characteristics. There is also described the basic division of competitiveness, advertising and market psychology. The empirical part examines the degree of familiarity, the level of public relations and the competitiveness of selected high school from the view of the general public in the region. The aim of this work is to evaluate the competitiveness and public relations of this high school and propose possible further development in the concerned areas.

This thesis investigates the topic of job description of a sales representative on the hair care market, particularly in a company called Hair Service. This piece of work is divided into four parts. The first part demonstrates theoretical concepts, such as hair care market, competitiveness, competitive advantage, followed by the job description of the sales representative. Secondly, Hair Service company profile and its portfolio will be discussed as well as company competitive environment and competitive advantage. Close attention will be also paid to duties of sales representatives. The discussion then focuses on a specifically designed questionnaire that was conducted by the sales representatives of Hair Service. The purpose of the survey is to determine satisfaction of the sales representatives and to propose changes for the company. The last part of this paper provides the evaluation of the questionnaire and proposes my own suggestions.

Transparency and information disclosure are important elements in the building strong and confiding relationships between core stakeholders of the hospital, including patients, physicians and hospital management, and allow improving hospital performance on the market. Effects of transparent information environment existence in the medical institution can be wide but the most compelling and attractive are those, which are connected with motivation to improve and change of patients and physicians attitudes towards organisation. On the base of non-for-profit hospital in one of the regions in the Russian Federation, this study examined information flows between hospital, physicians and patients, and their perspectives towards transparency. In order to achieve aims of the research, surveys and interview were conducted in the hospital, according to which results inferences and recommendations were developed.

The thesis deals with the scientific problem of the link between the strategic management and the compensation system using the principle of internal equity. The work is based on two pillars, namely the qualitative research and own proposed solution. The first part of the thesis describes the qualitative research and the possibilities and the synergistic effects of linking business strategy and compensation system. The qualitative research is performed as a multi-case study and investigates the phenomenon in the practice of three companies from various markets (the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Bosnia and Hercegovina) and industries (finance, IT/Telco and FMCG). The research tries to find answers to the four research questions: How does business strategy influence compensation process? How can compensation support the realization of a business strategy? How can business strategy be linked with a compensation system within the principle of internal equity? How can compensation reinforce the strategic function of the human resources management? The research is based on the study of theoretical sources as well as on practical fieldwork. The qualitative research itself uses qualitative research methods for data collection, such as observations, questionnaires, and document analysis. The population questioned was top managers, line managers and representatives of HR department. In total, 142 interviews were performed by a single person. The collected data were analyzed and the triangulation was applied. The findings were summarized and generalized into a final report that brings answers to the research questions above. The research brings valuable findings used in the second, design part of the thesis. The own proposed solution consists of two main models. The first one is a simplified scheme of the compensation system and the second one is a model of strategic segmentation of jobs. The first model could be used successfully in the business practice as well as in education. The second model of the strategic job segmentation brings answer to the question of synergistic linking of business strategy and the compensation system within the principle of internal equity. The model brings valuable findings and a foundation for further theoretical research and its further development. The model also brings practical solution to the design of related policies and processes in the strategic management of human resources. By the design of both proposed models the main objectives of the thesis were achieved.

This Master's Thesis follows up creation of marketing strategy of SLUSNY shop. The author, is actively participating in the leading of the company. The Thesis is based on data received from situation analysis of SLUSNY's microenvironment, macroenvironment and from marketing research. The situation analysis contains several marketing analysis means used in business practice. According to founded data, the author is generating suitable marketing strategy for SLUSNY shop. The goal of the Thesis is to create marketing strategy, which is logically connected to obtained data, is based on competition advantage and can lead company to its goal.

The goal of my work is to analyze the market position selected company and suggest improvement in its market position and to analyze its competitive environment. I chose the company OVB Allfinanz a.s., which operates on the Czech market for 44 years. My work consists of two parts. The first part describes the theoretical knowledge concerning strategic management and analysis, explanation of terms of competition, competitiveness and other related terms such as: generic competitive strategies, SWOT analysis and Porter's model of competitive forces. In the second part I will focus on the SWOT analysis and Porter model. I also focused on the analysis of competitors in the field of insurance brokers. The results are based on information obtained from the questionnaire survey. I also used the method of controlled interviews with successful regional group leader ProfiFP and thus I gained not only credible information about the company, but I could use my experience, when I am working for OVB. From the obtained data I proposed possible improvements for company .

He also analyzes the sources and competitiveness indicators (success) and sources of competitive advantage in the industry (market segment), with the help VRIO analysis identifies the key capabilities, which are selected organization source of competitive advantage over competitors. The aim of this bachelor thesis is to evaluate via analysis of chosen factors the posibility of a construction of service centre for Czech and Slovak market. This analysis is made for needs of the company Van Leeuwen Pipe and Tube Group, especially for its branch in the Czech Republic and in Slovakia. By this reason the thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. While the theoretical part is focused on a presentation of the company Van Leeuwen and for the purpose of understanding of the metallurgical issue also on a characteristic of relevant market, the practical part concerns the analysis of chosen factors with direct impact on a project of service centre. Concretely it's a case of the evaluation of customers' interest in selected service operations and the finding of companies which have already operated in the area of service centre. Last but not least the attention is paid to strategic location of service centre.

The subject of my bachelor's thesis is "Blue Ocean Strategy". The main goal of this work is to explain the problems of Blue Ocean Strategy, which is the actual trend in the market. The thesis is divided into two parts. The first part describes what it is competitiveness, competitive advantage, Porter's five forces model and its competitive strategies further build on the Blue Ocean Strategy, value innovation, analytical tools and system framework of strategy and attributes that well-developed Blue Ocean Strategy must have. In the practical part then I will focus on the application of Blue Ocean Strategy on the example of the emerging sports center in the Jindrichuv Hradec, using analytical tools and system frameworks of this strategy.

The thesis is focused on the analysis of the competitiveness of selected countries of eastern enlargement of the EU. The aim of this work is to analyze the competitiveness of selected countries - Slovakia, Slovenia and Estonia, comparing them to each other and in relation to other EU countries. The first chapter defines competitiveness and methods of its assessment. The second chapter discusses the external and internal economic balance of the selected countries. Analysis of long-run competitive advantages is the aim of third chapter and final part of the thesis, confronts results of international competitiveness yearbooks with reality.

This thesis was focused on the theme: External environment of the company. The business was chosen during the preparation and give me necessary information. Researched business called Aerosol ? Service Ltd., place of business is in central Bohemian (Pletený Újezd). The main products of the company are polyurethane foams. This dissertation was divided into three pillars. The first pillar was oriented of the external surroundings of company. These surroundings were adequately described. The next step was survey, because was needed to profile customer satisfaction. Another important step was to analyze the strongest and closest competitors on the market. The second pillar was focused on farther surroundings professionally called macro surroundings. This part has been described by STEP analysis. From this analysis was evaluated several most fundamental and long-term factors. The last pillar was focused on foreign trade, which is for company the most important. 85 % of the all production goes abroad. Here was analyzed market of European Union and final effect was chosen two best companies according to set criteria to begin new business possibilities. The main object of the thesis was to analyze the external environment of the company. In my opinion, the main object fulfilled. New findings were found in the external environment, and they are designed to changes and recommendations.

The goal of my diploma thesis is to analyse current marketing strategy of company X-Life s.r.o.. In my analysis I will focus on its main mistakes and failures trying to propose solutions or eventually create completely new marketing strategy which will help to the company to improve its market position, speed up reputation among potential customers and increase its market share. In the theoretical part of my thesis I will focus on the newest marketing trends and in the practical part I will write about the usage of these trends on the field of new marketing strategy of X-Life s.r.o..

The main aim of this diploma thesis is a strategic analysis of a construction company. It is divided into several parts, where the first, theoretical, part explains the fundaments of strategic analysis and clarifies the principles of methods applied. The other, analytical, part of the thesis applies the mentioned theoretical knowledge onto an existing construction company. The PESTEL analysis has been used to analyze the external environment. Furthermore, the thesis focuses on the internal environment of the company -- namely its marketing mix and financial situation. The findings of those analyses are summarized through a simplified SWOT analysis, which leads to a proposal of a strategy, and furthermore proposes operative, tactical and strategic measures which would support the strengths and opportunities and minimize the weaknesses and threats of the Isolite, spol. s r. o. company.

The aim of this bachelor work was to assess competitiveness of a selected company in the market based on use of strategic management procedures and methods, and to propose a suitable strategy in order to strengthen its position. The work dealt with competitiveness of the company in the given branch from both the external and internal environment.

Aim of the thesis is to develop a strategic analysis of the selected company with specific focus on external and internal analysis and then to make recommendations for the future development of the company.

The final thesis focuses on evaluating the marketing strategies of the village primary school management within the competitive background created by the town primary schools. One of the main points of the thesis is to enrich these strategies by means of executive directors' as well as my own experience. Other sources of such enrichment are the study literature and the available research knowledge as well as the knowledge of the chief pedagogical executives' final theses. In this respect, the marketing strategies should be posing a benefit for a classical village primary school to stand up to the challenging competitive struggle. The benefit from the thesis consists in using its conclusions by the village school headmasters as well as the institutors.
