- Abstract
Buses play a vital role in Brazil, serving not only as a means of daily transportation, but also as a working environment. This study explores the relevance of street vendors in this scenario, where they offer a diverse range of products, such as candies, popsicles, water and electronics. We investigated the growth of this practice, identifying the most demanded products, peak sales times and the increased presence of immigrant sellers. Street vendors, operating outside formality, assume a central role in the research, earning a living through commerce in public spaces. We focus on the informal bus lines 640 and 448 in Manaus (AM), using a dialectical method, direct observation and interviews for comprehensive analysis and reflection on this context. This study expands understanding of the impact of these informal workers on a dynamic urban landscape. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

- Abstract
Introduction: The work environment of hospital nurses and its impact on results have not been explored in Colombia. This research seeks to describe the characteristics of the work environment of nurses in a Colombian public hospital and to determine their association with sociodemographic characteristics and with results for the nurse, the patient and the institution. Method: Exploratory descriptive study. The 139 clinical nurses from the institution were invited to participate. The form was sent by RedCap, with sociodemographic and employment questions, the ENLASA-Nursing instrument, and results questions. Frequencies and percentages were obtained from the sociodemographic and employment data. The Dalenius-Hodges method was used to determine the score in which the healthy work environment was considered. To analyze the associations between sociodemographic and occupational characteristics, ENLASA-Nursing scores, and outcomes, the contingency coefficient, Phi, and Cramer's V were used. Results: The response rate was 84%. The overall score suggests that the work environment is healthy. The dimension of organizational structural components is considered unhealthy (58.3048/100); that of organizational processes is considered healthy (68.1256/100). The subdimensions with the lowest scores were: human resources policies (62.2960/100), nursing resource planning (42.9487), and remuneration (52.7778). In the organizational process dimension, clinical autonomy obtained the lowest and the only score that classifies it as an unhealthy aspect (52.6709). Conclusions: There is a need to promote healthy work environments, work on policies and planning of human resources in nursing, and advance research on this matter, to support national and organizational policy decisions.

QUALITY of work life , *WELL-being , *JOB satisfaction , *WORK environment , *PRODUCTIVE life span - Abstract
The objective is to determine the relationship between labor well-being and teaching commitment in an educational institution in Peru. It was developed from a quantitative approach and correlational scope, with a non-experimental field design, the population was made up of 41 teachers. A coefficient of 0.437 is evidenced, cataloging a moderate positive correlation between the study variables. A relationship is generated between the variables, so the positive hypothesis is approved and the null is rejected. The correlation, being moderately positive, reveals the need to increase labor well-being, since the teaching commitment has been statistically more significant in the participants. This implies that teachers are highly committed to their work, despite the fact that this does not generate all the favorable conditions to develop it. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Introduction: concern for the work environment in nursing has become even greater since the COVID-19 pandemic, which affected the quantity and quality of nursing personnel around the world. Objective: to describe the work environment of nurses performing care functions in a hospital in Bogota, Colombia. Method: exploratory descriptive study. The Enlasa -Nursing Questionnaire was sent to all the nurses in the hospital under study through RedCap. Results: 50% of the nurses (49 nurses) of the institution invited to participate in the study answered the complete questionnaire. The work environment was considered unhealthy by 57.1% of the respondents. The dimension of structural elements was seen as unhealthy (64.49/100), and that of organizational processes as healthy (71.18/100). The sub-dimensions considered unhealthy in structure were nursing resource planning (54.66/100) and human resources policies (58.91/100). With respect to processes were nurse-organization interaction (63.10/100) and autonomy (66.07/100). No association was found between sociodemographic variables and nursing work environment. The only statistically significant association between work environment and results was the one related to motivation to work (Phi 0.362, p=0.040). Conclusions: it is suggested to intervene in the dimensions and subdimensions identified as unhealthy and to continue monitoring this phenomenon. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

PUBLIC works , *PUBLIC education , *PUBLIC institutions , *SELF-realization , *ACQUISITION of data - Abstract
This research aims to analyze the meaning of the reasons for staying at work in a Public Education Institution (IPE). Regarding elaboration, the theoretical framework was first used based on contributions that deal with the theme: what are work, objective, and subjective work links? Data collection was carried out using an electronic form that was based on content analysis and the interpretative paradigm, in line with the statements made by the study participants and, at the same time, assisted by the theoretical basis. The results expose the justifications for continuing the work activity, where the statements were categorized into environmental, personal, social, financial, and self-realization benefits. In this way, it was possible to diagnose that the links between work and the institution go beyond the merely objective character, where individuals, from a holistic perspective, highlight subjective factors such as recognition, achievement, usefulness, and belonging as reasons-causes for staying in the organization, the object of the present study, thus highlighting relationships between the work context and the variables presented from the employees' experiences.

- Abstract
Work stress and its impact on mental health have become a global issue. To address psychosocial risk factors in the workplace, the Mexican government introduced the Official Mexican Standard 035 (NOM035) in October 2018. The NOM-035 includes questionnaires to assess employees' level of psychological risk while performing their job duties. This study examines the validity and reliability of the second measurement instrument in the NOM-035. The questionnaire was administered to 434 employees, and after several statistical tests, the results indicate that the instrument may not accurately identify Mexican employees at high psychological risk., Los factores psicosociales derivados del estrés laboral se han convertido un problema global.
