06.03.2018 tarihli ve 30352 sayılı Resmi Gazetede yayımlanan “Yükseköğretim Kanunu İle Bazı Kanun Ve Kanun Hükmünde Kararnamelerde Değişiklik Yapılması Hakkında Kanun” ile 18.06.2018 tarihli “Lisansüstü Tezlerin Elektronik Ortamda Toplanması, Düzenlenmesi ve Erişime Açılmasına İlişkin Yönerge” gereğince tam metin erişime açılmıştır. Son dönemlerde eğitim alanında yapılan çalışmalara bakıldığında bireysel farklılıkların üzerine yoğunlaşıldığı görülmektedir. İş doyumu, masleki tükenmişlik, günlük ritim ve uyku değişkenleri bireysel farklılıklardan olup kişilerin birçok psikolojik, fizyolojik ve bilişsel özellikleri ile ilişkilidir. Bu çalışmanın amacı, Fen Bilimleri öğretmenlerinin iş doyumları, mesleki tükenmişlik düzeyleri, günlük ritim tercihleri ve uyku değişkenlerinin hangi düzeyde olduğu ve bu değişkenler arasındaki ilişkiyi tespit etmektir. Ayrıca, çeşitli değişkenlere bakılarak fen bilimleri öğretmenlerinin günlük ritim tercihleri, mesleki tükenmişlik düzeyleri ve iş doyumları puanlarının yordanıp yordanmadığı araştırılmıştır. Çalışmada veri toplama aracı olarak "Kişisel Bilgi Formu", "Maslach Tükenmişlik Ölçeği (MTÖ)", "Minnesota İş Doyumu Ölçeği" ve "Karma Sabahçıl Ölçeği (CSM)" kullanılmıştır. Çalışma, tarama modelinde olup veriler anket ve ölçekler aracılığıyla toplanmıştır. Nicel analiz yönteminin kullanıldığı çalışmanın örneklemini Kocaeli ilinde görev yapan 199'u kadın ve 82'si erkek toplam 300 Fen Bilimleri öğretmeni oluşturmuştur. Öğretmenler, amaçsal örnekleme yöntemi ile seçilmiştir. Veriler SPSS 21.0 paket programı ile Betimsel Analiz tekniği, Korelasyon tekniği ve Linear Regrasyon tekniği kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Çalışmanın analiz sonuçlarına göre Fen Bilimleri öğretmenlerinin mesleki tükenmişlik düzeyleri ve iş doyumları yüksek düzeyde çıkmıştır. Öğretmenlerin günlük ritim tercihleri ise daha çok ara tiptedir. Fen Bilimleri öğretmenlerinin günlük ritim puanları ile mesleki tükenmişlik alt boyutları arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı ilişki bulunurken günlük ritim puanları ile iş doyumu ve alt puanları arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir ilişki bulunmamıştır. Yaş, MSFsc, duygusal tükenmişlik ve duyarsızlaşma alt boyutu puanlarının günlük ritmin anlamlı yordayıcıları olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Fen Bilimleri öğretmenlerinin mesleki tükenmişlik puanları ile CSM ve MSFsc arasında pozitif yönde anlamlı bir ilişki bulunmuştur. Ayrıca öğretmenlerin mesleki tükenmişlik düzeyleri ile okula gitmedeki motivasyonları arasında negatif yönde bir ilişki tespit edilmiştir. Fen Bilimleri öğretmenlerinin mesleki tükenmişliklerini MSFsc, okula gitme motivasyonu ve içsel doyum puanlarının istatistiksel olarak anlamlı yordadığı görülmüştür. Okula yüksek motivasyon ve orta motivasyon ile gitmenin Fen Bilimleri öğretmenlerinin mesleki tükenmişliklerini pozitif yönde yordadığı görülmüştür. Ayrıca MSFsc ile içsel doyum puanları, öğretmenlerin mesleki tükenmişliklerini pozitif yönde yordadığı görülmüştür. Fen Bilimleri öğretmenlerinin iş doyumu puanları için yaş, cinsiyet, CSM, MSFsc, sosyal jet lag, kıdem, öğrenim durumu, idari amirden takdir görme, idari görev alma, öğretmenlik mesleğine duyulan manevi doyum, mesleki tükenmişlik ve alt boyutları puanlarının anlamlı yordayıcılar olup olmadığı analiz edilmiştir. İş doyumu puanları ile MSFsc, idari takdir görme, manevi doyum, duygusal tükenme, duyarsızlaşma ve kişisel başarısızlık puanları arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı ilişki bulunmuştur. Duygusal tükenme, idari amirden takdir görme ve kişisel başarısızlık puanları iş doyumu puanlarını istatistiksel olarak pozitif yönde anlamlı yordadığı görülmüştür. Sonuç olarak çalışmada, Fen Bilimleri öğretmenlerinin iş doyumu, mesleki tükenmişlik düzeyleri, günlük ritim tercihleri ve uyku değişkenleri arasındaki ilişkiler saptanmıştır. Ayrıca iş doyumu, mesleki tükenmişlik düzeyi ve günlük ritim tercihlerinin yordayıcıları bulunmuştur. When the recent studies in the field of education are examined, it is noted that individual differences are focused on. Job satisfaction, vocational burnout, circadian preference and sleep variables are individual differences and are associated with many psychological, physiological and cognitive characteristics of individuals. The aim of this study was to determine the level of job satisfaction, vocational burnout, circadian preferences and sleep variables of science teachers and the associations among these variables. Also, it was investigated whether circadian preferences, vocational burnout levels and job satisfaction scores of science teachers could be predicted by considering various variables. In the study, "Demographic Form", "Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI)", "Minnesota Job Satisfaction Scale" and "Composite Scale of Morningness (CSM)" were used as the data collecting tool. A survey design was used in the study and the data were collected through a questionnaire and scales. A total of 300 science teachers (199 female and 82 male) who work in Kocaeli province were selected by purposive sampling method. The data were analyzed by using descriptive analysis, correlation technique and linear regression technique with SPSS 21.0 software. According to the results of the study, vocational teachers' burnout and job satisfaction levels were high. Participating teachers were mostly intermediate types. While there was a statistically significant relationship between science teachers' circadian preference scores and vocational burnout sub-dimension scores, there was no statistically significant relationship between circadian preference scores and job satisfaction and sub-dimention scores. Statistically, age, MSFsc, emotional exhaustion and depersonalization burnout sub-dimension scores were found to be significant predictors of circadian preference. Science teachers' burnout scores were positively related with CSM and MSFsc. In addition, a negative correlation was found between teachers' vocational burnout levels and their motivation to go to school. It was seen that science teachers' vocational burnout was significantly predicted by MSFsc, motivation to go to school and internal satisfaction scores. It was seen that going to school with high motivation and medium motivation positively predicted the vocational burnout of science teachers. In addition, MSFsc and internal satisfaction scores positively predicted science teachers' vocational burnout scores. Age, gender, CSM, MSFsc, social jet lag, seniority, educational status, appreciation by the supervisor, taking over administrative duties, spiritual satisfaction with the profession, vocational burnout and sub-dimensions were investigated for wheter they are significant predictors of science teachers' job satisfaction scores. Job satisfaction scores were significantly related with MSFsc, administrative appreciation, spiritual satisfaction, emotional exhaustion, depersonalization and personal failure scores. Emotional exhaustion, administrative appreciation and personal failure scores positively predicted the job satisfaction scores. In conclusion, in this study, the relationships between science teachers' job satisfaction, vocational burnout levels, circadian preferences and sleep variables were found out. In addition, predictors of job satisfaction, vocational burnout level and circadian preferences were identified.

The aim of this study wasto determine the relationship of vocational burnout levels with circadianpreference and sleep variables of science teachers. Three hundred scienceteachers working in Kocaeli province participated in the study. Data werecollected using “Demographic Form”, “Maslach Burnout Scale ”and “CompositeScale of Morningness” and were analyzed with SPSS 21.0 package program. A surveydesign was used in the study. In the analysis, it was investigated whether scienceteachers' vocational burnout levels couldbe predicted by the variables circadian preference, MSFsc, social jetlag, age,gender, seniority, educational status, doing their job willingly, satisfactionwith the work environment and motivation to go to school. In addition, associationsamong vocational burnout levels, circadian preferences and sleep variables wereexamined. According to the results of the analysis, vocational burnout levelsof science teachers were found to be high. Significant positive correlations werefound between vocational burnout scores of science teachers with CSM and MSFsc.A negative correlation was found between teachers' vocational burnout levelsand their motivation to go to school. Besides, motivation to go to school andMSFsc predicted vocational burnout levels of science teachers. As a result, oneof the variables predicting vocational burnout of science teachers was found tobe circadian preference. In cases where the sleep pattern of the individualsdue to circadian rhythm is not compatible with the working hours of theirprofession, the individual cannot sleep adequately which may result in stress andincrease their vocational burn out levels., Bu araştırma, fen bilimleri öğretmenlerinin mesleki tükenmişlikdüzeyleri ile günlük ritim tercihleri ve uyku değişkenleri arasındaki ilişkiyitespit etmek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Çalışmaya Kocaeli ilinde görev yapan 300 fenbilimleri öğretmeni katılmıştır. Bunun yanında mesleki tükenmişlik düzeyi, günlük ritim tercihive uyku değişkenleri arasındaki ilişkiler ve bu değişkenlerin durumuincelenmiştir. Analiz sonuçlarına göre fen bilimleri öğretmenlerinin meslekitükenmişlik düzeyleri yüksek çıkmıştır. Fen bilimleri öğretmenlerinin meslekitükenmişlik puanları ile CSM ve MSFsc arasında pozitif yönde anlamlı bir ilişkibulunmuştur. Ayrıca öğretmenlerin mesleki tükenmişlik düzeyleri ile okulagitmedeki motivasyonları arasında negatif yönde bir ilişki tespit edilmiştir.Bunun yanında okula gitme motivasyonu ile MSFsc’nin mesleki tükenmişlikdüzeyini yordadığı görülmüştür. Sonuçta fen bilimleri öğretmenlerinin meslekitükenmişlik düzeyini yordayan değişkenlerden birisinin günlük ritim tercihiolduğu görülmüştür. Bireylerin günlük ritimden kaynaklı uyku düzeni mesleğinçalışma saati ile uyumlu olmadığı durumlarda kişi yeterli uyku uyuyamadığı içinstres oluşabilmekte ve bu durum tükenmişlik düzeyini artırabilmektedir.
