Integrating the influence of parents' education on their children's education, this paper delves into the status of the influence of parents' education on their children's attendance in extracurricular classes. The core idea of this dissertation is to verify that parental education has a significant effect on children's education. In previous studies, the correlation between parent's education level and children's participation in extracurricular classes has been expressed through data analysis such as CGSS. Therefore, concerning the data from previous studies and CEPS data, this paper incorporates descriptive statistics , sum analysis , and logit simple regression analysis. Inspired by real-life examples, this study conclude that parents' education level affects children's participation in extracurricular classes, that parents have different degrees of influence on children's participation in extracurricular classes, and that high parental education level and children's participation in extracurricular classes are not common. The research significance of this paper is that it can clarify the current situation of the development of children's daily education, and according to the research results, it can predict and guide the development trend of education in the future. Participation in educational activities for children, parents, and schools indicates the focus on the direction of choice and planning.

Chronic kidney disease (CKD) can result in alteration of intestinal flora and damage of intestinal barrier function. Intestinal dysbios is contributes to the generation of colon-derived uremic solutes and the translocation of bacteria and endotoxins from gut lumen into the bloodstream, subsequently increasing uremic toxicity and triggering systemic inflammation, which is related to CKD progression and many complications. Studies have revealed that dietary fiber can reduce uremic toxin levels and systemic inflammation in CKD through targeting the "gut-kidney axis". BACKGROUND The colon plays a vital role in the disposal of nitrogenous waste products. Therefore, the colon may provide a therapeutic target for managing chronic kidney disease (CKD). AIM To evaluate the efficacy of a simplified model of colonic dialysis with hemodialysis solutions (SCD) to delay the progression of stages 3-5 CKD. DESIGN Retrospective study. METHODS We retrospectively analyzed 178 stages 3-5 CKD patients who did or did not receive SCD (SCD group, n = 88; control group, n = 90). The follow-up was 36 months. The outcome of CKD progression was defined as a decrease in 50% or more in estimated glomerular filtration rate, starting hemodialysis or peritoneal dialysis or undergoing transplantation. The Kaplan-Meier analysis was used to compare CKD progression between SCD and control groups as well as between subgroups at different CKD stages. Cox proportional hazard models adjusted for patients' characteristics were used to examine the association between SCD and the outcome. RESULTS For all patients, the outcome was significantly better in SCD group compared to control group (P < 0.05). The results were similar in the subgroups of patients at stage 4 (P = 0.001) and stage 5 (P = 0.000), but not in the subgroup of patients at stage 3 (P = 0.121). For all patients, SCD was associated with a lower risk of CKD progression after adjusted for patients' characteristics (adjusted hazard ratio, 0.373; 95% confidence interval, 0.201-0.694; P 0.002). CONCLUSION SCD is an effective supplementary therapy to delay the progression of stages 4-5 CKD.

This is the first of two sequential papers describing the design and first-year implementation of a collaborative participatory action research effort between Sociedad Latina, a youth serving organization in Boston, Massachusetts, and Boston University. The collaboration aimed to develop and deliver a combined STEM and career development set of lessons for middle school Latinx youth. In the first paper, life design and the U.N. Sustainable Development Goals are described in relation to the rationale and the design of the career development intervention strategy that aims to help middle school youth discover the ways that learning advanced-STEM skills expand future decent work opportunities both within STEM and outside STEM, ultimately leading to an outcome of well-being and sustainable communities. In addition to providing evidence of career development intervention strategies, a qualitative analysis of the collaboration is described. The second paper will discuss two additional frameworks that guided the design and implementation of our work. As an example of translational research, the paper will provide larger national and regional contexts by describing system level career development interventions underway using Bronfenbrenner’s bioecological and person–process–context–time frameworks.

We demonstrate, that the reactions of in situ generated fluoro-enolates with a range of aliphatic aldehydes can be successfully performed using asymmetric catalyst derived from chiral ligand and Cu(OTf) 2 . The enantioselectivity of the formation of two contiguous stereogenic carbons in these additions was excellent, rendering the developed approach as an important methodological advance in asymmetric catalytic reactions of detrifluoroacetylatively generated fluoro-enolates. This process allows preparation of structurally new pharmaceutically interesting class of 1,3-hydroxy ketones containing C-F quaternary stereogenic center adjacent to secondary hydroxy group.

To observe the effect of auricular magnetotherapy on depression and quality of life in stroke patients with depression after recovery.Ninety-three stroke patients with depression were randomly divided into a conventional group(a control group), a conventional combined with magnetotherapy group (an observation 1 group), a conventional combined with vaccaria seed group (an observation 2 group), 31 cases in each group. Conventional treatments were applied in the three groups. On the basis of conventional treatments, auricular magnetotherapy was added in the observation 1 group, and in the observation 2 group, vaccaria seed was applied at gan (COA total of 83 cases completed the test. After treatment and follow-up, the scores of HAMD decreased in the observation 1 group and observation 2 group compared with that before treatment (allAuricular magnetotherapy can improve the depressive symptoms of convalescent stroke patients with depression and improve their quality of life.

Reported herein is asymmetric synthesis of β-trifluoromethyl-β-amino acids via Mannich addition reactions between (Ss)-N-(tert-butanesulfinyl)-3,3,3-trifluoroacetaldimine and lithium enolates of alkyl acetates. In particular, the scope of this approach allows for preparation of the previously illusive, highly sterically constrained α,α-dialkyl-β-trifluoromethyl-β-amino acids. The method affords the target products with good to excellent chemical yields and diastereoselectivities.

A Ni-catalyzed asymmetric decarboxylative Mannich reaction between (Ss)-N-t-butylsulfinyl-3,3,3-trifluoro-acetaldimine and β-keto-acids was reported, affording β-trifluoromethyl-β-amino ketones with excellent yields and diastereoselectivities.

The reactions between lithium-benzothiazoles and (S)-N-tert-butanesulfinylketimines have been found to be of general synthetic importance for asymmetric preparation of previously unknown type of amino-benzothiazol derivatives of high pharmaceutical potential. In most cases, the reactions proceed with excellent diastereoselectivities and good isolated yields of the target compounds rendering the developed procedure of high synthetic value and immediate practical use.

Efficient asymmetric detrifluoroacetylative Mannich addition reactions between 2-fluoro-1,3-di-ketones/hydrates and chiral N-sulfinyl-imines via C-C bond cleavage were reported, which afforded C-F quaternary α-fluoro-β-keto-amines with excellent yields and high diastereoselectivity.

This study describes the anomalous outcome of the Mannich-type reaction of N-tert-butylsulfinyl-3,3,3-trifluoroacetaldimine and Li derivatives of benzo[d]thiazoles, which offers a convenient and generalized method for the synthesis of biologically relevant (E)-1,2-bis(2-benzothiazolyl)ethanes. The mechanism, scope, and scalability of this new reaction are discussed.

The interference problem of lightning surges on electronic and telecommunication products were examined, and a series of experiments were conducted to analyze the failure situations to find out the mechanisms of failures caused by the lightning surge. In addition, the ways in which lightning surges damaged equipment were deduced. It was found that failure positions were scattered and appeared in groups, and most of them were ground discharge. Internet access transformer had high withstand-voltage under the lightning pulse, and the lightning surge seldom passed through the internet access transformer. The lightning current can release to the ground via the computer network adapter of the terminal user. The study will help to improve the performance of lightning surge protection circuit and protection level.
