Bu çalışmada, kaliks[4]aren temelli grafen oksit (GO-Epoksi-C[4]CN), öncelikle grafit tozundan Hummers metodu kullanarak grafen oksitin (GO) sentezlenmesi ve (3-glisidoksipropil)trimetoksisilan (GPTMS) ile etkileştirilerek epoksi ucundan p-ter-bütilkaliks[4]aren dinitril türevinin bağlanması ile elde edildi. Sentezlenen bileşiklerin karakterizasyonları, 1H NMR ve FTIR analizleri ile gerçekleştirildi. Elde edilen yeni adsorban (GO-Epoksi-C[4]CN), atık sulardan p-nitro fenolün (PNF) giderilmesi için kullanıldı. Öncelikle, adsorban ve başlangıç bileşikleri kullanılarak karşılaştırma çalışmaları gerçekleştirildi ve % 81 adsorpsiyon verimi ile diğerlerine göre oldukça yüksek bir verim sağladığı gözlendi. Çalışmanın devamında, pH ve konsantrasyonun adsorpsiyona etkisi incelendi. Konsantrasyon çalışmalarından elde edilen bulgular ışığında adsorpsiyonun Langmuir izotermiyle daha uyumlu olduğu görüldü., In this study, calix[4]arene-based graphene oxide (GO-Epoxy-C[4]CN) was synthesized using graphene oxide (GO), which was obtained from graphite powder by the Hummers method. After GO preparation, it was reacted by (3-glycidyloxypropyl)trimethoxysilane (GPTMS) to get its epoxy (GO-Epoxy). Then, GO-Epoxy-C[4]CN was obtained by immobilization of p-tert-butylcalix[4]arene nitrile derivative onto the GO-Epoxy. Characterizations of synthesized compounds were performed by 1H NMR and FTIR analysis. The obtained new adsorbent (GO-Epoxy-C[4]CN) was used for the removal of p-nitrophenol (PNP) from wastewater. First of all, comparison studies were carried out using adsorbent and starting compounds, and it was observed that it provided a very high efficiency with 81% adsorption efficiency compared to the others. Then, the effect of pH and concentration on adsorption was investigated. Hence, it was seen that the adsorption was more compatible with the Langmuir isotherm.

Son olarak, DNK[4]MR'nin fenolik türlere karşı ekstraksiyon kabiliyetlerinin ayrıntılı bir şekilde incelenmesi için farklı konsantrasyonlarda ligand çözeltileri hazırlanarak log D'ye karşı log [L] grafiği çizilerek etkileşim sonucu oluşan ekstraksiyon denge sabitleri (Kex) hesaplandı. Bu çalışma, kaliksaren hidrazin amit türevi içerenMerrifield reçinesi (KIMR) ile modifiye edilmiş bir QCM sensörün sulu ortamdakip-nitrofenol (PNF) için algılamaçalışmalarını açıklamaktadır. Bu amaçla öncelikle KIMR hazırlanarak yapısıkarakterize edildi ve daha sonra QCM kristal yüzeyine kaplandı. Elde edilenKIMR modifiyeli sensörün PNF algılama çalışmaları, PNF için iyi bir algılamagösterdiğini ortaya çıkardı. Ayrıca Langmuirve Freundlich adsorpsiyon izotermlerinden KIMR’nin adsorpsiyon kapasitesi, 372 mg/golarak hesaplandı., Thisstudy describes the sensing studies of QCM sensor which modified withcalixarene hydrazine amide derivative immobilized Merrifield resin (CIMR) forthe p-nitrophenol (PNP) sensing inaqueous media. For this aim, first CIMR was prepared and its structure wascharacterized, and then it was coated onto the QCM crystal surface. The PNPsensing studies of CIMR modified QCM sensor revealed good results for PNPsensing. Thus, it was performed the sensing studies at different concentrationand pHs in aqueous media. From the results, it was found that the limit ofdetection was 0.34 mM and optimum pH value was 10 for PNF sensing by CIMR modifiedQCM sensor. Moreover, it was calculated the adsorption capacity of CIMR as 372mg/g from the Langmuir and Freundlich isotherm models.

Bu çalışma, kiral kaliskaren kaplı yeni kuartz kristal mikroterazi (QCM) sensörlerin hazırlanmasını ve bu sensörlerin bazı amino asitler için algılama özellikleri araştırılarak etkili ve seçimli biyosensör-biyoanalit çiftlerinin belirlenmesini içermektedir. Bu amaçla, QCM kristal yüzeyine kaplamak üzere farklı yapıda kiral kaliks[4]aren türevleri (amit ya da Schiff bazı fonksiyonlu) sentezlendi ve yapıları, FTIR ve 1H-NMR gibi spektroskopik yöntemlerle aydınlatıldı. Sentezlenen kiral kaliks[4]aren türevlerinin çözeltide bekletme yöntemi ile QCM yüzeyine kaplanması sonucu elde edilen yeni modifiye QCM sensörler ile bazı amino asit (D-/L-alanin, -arjinin, -fenilalanin, -serin ve -triptofan) türevleri için algılama çalışmaları gerçekleştirildi. Kiral ayrım değerlerine göre alanin ve arjinin izomerleri için 10c bileşiğinin kaplandığı QCM biyosensörlerin etkili olduğu görüldü. Stokiyometrik oran değerlerine göre ise alanin, arjinin, fenilalanin ve serin için 10c, triptofan için ise 10d bileşiklerinin kaplandığı QCM biyosensörlerin algılamada etkili olduğu görüldü. Algılama sürecinde QCM yüzeyindeki kiral kaliks[4]aren molekülleri ile analit molekülleri arasında hidrojen bağı etkileşimlerinin başlıca rol oynadığı ve özellikle Schiff bazı fonksiyonlu kiral kaliks[4]aren türevlerinin en etkili algılayıcı malzemeler olduğu görüldü. Her iki değerlendirmeye göre de belirlenen biyosensör-biyoanalit çiftleri arasında farklı konsantrasyonlarda biyoanalit çalışmaları yapılarak biyosensörlerin minimum algılama limiti (LOD), hassasiyetleri (S) ve sensör tepkilerinin zaman sabitleri (τ) hesaplandı. Algılama sürecinin Langmuir ve Freundlich izotermleri ile biyosorpsiyon bakımından değerlendirmesi yapıldı. Belirlenen etkin biyosensör-biyoanalit çiftleri için kaliks[4]aren içeriğinin ve kaplama tekniğinin kiral ayrım üzerine etkisi incelendi. Farklı kaplama yöntemlerinden elde edilen QCM biyosensörlerin temas açısı ölçümleri ve AFM görüntüleri alındı. Biyosensörlerin biyoanalitlere karşı tekrarlanılabilirlik ve dayanıklılık testleri gerçekleştirilerek biyosensörlerin kullanım ömürleri ve kararlılıkları belirlendi. Ayrıca, kiral karışımlar için, yüzey yanıt yönteminin (YYY) merkezi kompozit tasarımı (MKT) ile seçimlilik çalışmaları da gerçekleştirildi. This study includes that the preparation of chiral calix[4]arene coated quartz crystal microbalance (QCM) biosensors and the determination of efficient biosensor-bioanalyte pairs via studying of their sensing properties for some amino acids. For this aim, chiral calix[4]arene derivatives with different structures (amid or Schiff base functionalized) were synthesized for coating to QCM crystal surface, and their structures were characterized by some spectroscopic techniques such as FT-IR and 1H-NMR. It was performed the sensing studies for some amino acid (D-/L-alanine, -arginine, -phenylalanine, -serine and -tryptophan) derivatives with new QCM sensors which modified by coating of chiral calix[4]arene derivatives to QCM surface. According to chiral discrimination data, 10c modified QCM sensor was efficient biosensor on sensing for alanine and arginine isomers. According to stochiometric ratio data, 10c modified QCM sensor was efficient biosensor on sensing for alanine, arginine, phenylalanine, serine and 10d modified QCM sensor was efficient biosensor on sensing for tryptophan. In sensing process, it was observed that hydrogen bond interactions between analytes and chiral calix[4]arene derivatives on QCM surface have played an important role and especially, Schiff base functionalized chiral calix[4]arene was most effective sensing materials. Limit of detection (LOD), sensitivity (S) and time constants (τ) of sensor were calculated by studying at different analyte concentrations for biosensor-biyoanalyte pairs which specified by both approach (chiral discrimination and stochiometric ratio). Sensing progress was evaluated in terms of biosorption by Langmuir and Freundlich isotherms. Thus, LOD values of bioanalytes were determined. In further experiments, the effects of calix[4]arene content and coating method on chiral discriminations were examined for efficient biosensor-bioanalyte pairs. AFM images and contact angle measurements of QCM sensors which obtained from different coating methods were taken. Additionally, the reproducibility and the durability properties of biosensors were specified. Finally, the selectivity studies of chiral mixtures were performed by central composite design (CCD) of response surface methodology (RSM). 181

Bu çalışmada Kuartz Kristal Mikrobalans (QCM) metoduyla, çeşitli kaliks[4]aren moleküllerinin bazı uçucu organik bileşiklere (UOB) karşı gaz algılama özellikleri incelendi. QCM metodu ile ölçüme başlamadan önce sentezlenen kaliks[4]aren moleküllerinin kloroform içerisindeki çözeltileri hazırlandı. Hazırlanmış olan kaliks[4]aren çözeltileri QCM kristallerine drop casting (damlatarak) kaplama yöntemiyle damlatılarak kaliks[4]aren filmleri oluşturuldu. EQCM (Elektronik Kuartz Kristal Mikrobalans) cihazı kullanılarak kaliks[4]aren filmlerin UOB olarak toluen, aseton, etanol, n-hekzan, metanol, ksilen, kloroform, etilasetat, DMF, dioksan, diklorometan, CCl4, asetonitril buharlarına karşı tepkiler incelendi. Sonuçlar, kalikarenin halkalı yapısının ve fonksiyonel gruplarının UOB?nin algılanmasında önemli olduğunu ortaya çıkardı., In this study, it was investigated that the gas sensing behaviours of various calixarene molecules against vapors of VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds) using Quartz Crystal Microbalance (QCM) technique. Before starting measurements, prepared calix[4]arene molecules were dissolved in chloroform in order to make their solutions. Calix[4]arene solutions is dropped on quartz crystal by using drop casting method to obtain calix[4]arene films. EQCM (Electronic Quartz Crystal Microbalance) apparatus were used to investigate responses of calix[4]arene films towards to VOCs such as toluene, acetone, ethanol, n-hexane, methanol, xylene, chloroform, ethyl acetate, DMF, dioxane, dichloromethane, CCl4, acetonitrile. WOS: 000480664200019, PubMed: 31357279, This paper describes the sensing studies of a chiral calix[4]arene receptor (5) having (R)-2-phenylglycinol moiety for arginine enantiomers (D-/L-arginine) by using Quartz Crystal Microbalance (QCM) technique. The initial experiments have revealed that the chiral calix[4]arene 5 coated QCM (CCC-QCM) sensor showed good sensing for arginine enantiomers, such that it has exhibited higher sensing towards D-arginine than that of L-arginine. It has been determined that the sensitivity, limit of detection values of CCC-QCM sensor for the D-/L-arginine solutions as 0.024/0.023 Hz/mu M and 0.38/1.29 mu M, respectively. On the other hand, the racemic mixture studies were optimized using the response surface methodology with central composite design. WOS: 000485967900003, This article describes the enantiomeric discrimination properties of new chiral calix[4]arene derivatives bearing (S)-/(R)-1-phenylethylamine moieties (5a and 5b, respectively) towards the 1-phenylethylamine enantiomers on QCM surface. Initial experiments demonstrated that the 5b coated QCM sensor was the most effective sensing material for enantiomeric discrimination of (R)-/(S)-1-phenylethylamine by exhibiting much more sensing ability towards (R)-enantiomer than (S)-enantiomer. Sensitivity, detection limit and time constant of the 5b coated QCM sensor has been were calculated as 0.082 Hz/mu M, 2.7 mu M, and 319.2 s, respectively. Additionally, effects of calixarene content and different coating technique on enantiomeric discrimination, and Langmuir and Freundlich isotherms of the sensing results also were studied. WOS: 000464948100021, PubMed: 30931505, We describe the synthesis of new chiral calix[4]arene derivatives having (R)-1-phenylethylamine, (S)-1-phenylethylamine, (R)-2-phenylglycinol, and (S)-2-phenylglycinol moieties, and chiral recognition studies for enantiomers of some selected -amino acid derivatives such as alanine, phenylalanine, serine, and tryptophan using a quartz crystal microbalance (QCM). Initial experiments indicated that the highest selective chiral recognition factor was 1.42 for alanine enantiomers. The sensitivity, limit of detection, and time constant for l-alanine were calculated as 0.028 Hz/M, 60.9 M, and 36.2 s, respectively.
