Pesquisa do Estado do Amazonas CNPq - Conselho Nacional de Desenvolvimento Cient??fico e Tecnol??gico Tambaqui Colossoma macropomum is the main edible fish species from fish farming in the Amazon region. The present work aims to determine and compare hematological and biochemical parameters of fish farms in municipalities in the Metropolitan Region of Manaus (MRM). Two fish farms were sampled in the semi-excavated pond farming system in each of the five investigated municipalities (President Figueiredo, Manaus, Iranduba, Manacapuru and Novo Air??o). In each farm 10 specimens were captured, totaling 100 animals. Blood was collected by caudal puncture and hematological parameters were defined as described in the description for teleosts. Physical parameters (temperature, portable, pH and transparent meters) were determined with phmeter and the meters, chemical parameters (durability, durability and nitrite) were determined using kits. Student's t test and Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) followed by Tukey's test were used to compare fish farms in the same municipality and between municipalities. The eogram was in the municipalities of Iranduba when compared to the others of anemic and low processes, showing indicatives in the municipalities of Iranduba and low. Regarding plasma biochemistry, low levels were observed in fish from the municipalities of Iranduba and Novo Air??o. In addition, very different values for lipids were also found in people from Manacapuru. Inthe leukogram and thrombogram, intraspecific or certain similarities were found between tambaqui from different farms and municipalities. The physical and chemical values of the water indicate the undesired conditions in the municipalities of Iran, as well as they may be associated with the related findings and physiological parameters. It is concluded that the water quality is a fundamental condition for the good health conditions of the tambaqui, as well as the fish from themunicipalities of Iranduba and Novo Air??o are in physiological conditions on the side of the originating fish, on the other hand Manacapuru propose inappropriate feeding, indicated by the high levels of cholesterol and triglycerides found in the blood. Keywords: blood, well-being, Amazon, native, cultivation.
