In this study, Some new Compounds have been Synthesized including the preparation of some Schiff bases (P1,P2,R4) from the reaction Benzdine, 2-aminoanthracine-9,10-dione compounds with two moles of various aldehydes The second stage includes preparation of new heterocyclic compounds seven membered rings ( Oxazepine, Oxazepane)(P1C1,P1C2,P1C3,P2C1,P2C2,P2C3,R4C1,R4C2,R4C3) using the microwave method . The prepared compounds were characterized by FT-IR, 1H-NMR, and 13C-NMR spectra in addition melting points were measured for all compounds and reactions was followed by TLC (Thin Layer Chromatography).Finally, the synthesized compounds are tested against Gram-positive(Staphylococcus aureus) and Gram-negative bacteria (Escherichia Coli) to study their biological activity, the results showed high biological effectiveness of some derivatives (P1,P2,R4,P1C1,P1C2,P1C3,P2C1,P2C2,R4C1) compared with Ciprofloxacin drug and study anti-oxidant for the R4C2 compound which gave good results. . Nowadays increasing dimensionality of data produces several issues in machine learning. Therefore, it is needed to decrease the number of features by choosing just the most important ones and eliminating duplicate features, also reducing the number of features that are important to the model. For this purpose, many methodologies known as Feature Selection are applied. In this study, a feature selection approach is proposed based on Swarm Intelligence methods, which search for the best points in the search area to achieve optimization. In this paper, a wrapper feature selection technique based on the Dragonfly algorithm is proposed. The dragonfly optimization technique is used to find the optimal subset of features that could accurately classify breast cancer as benign or malignant. Many times, the fitness function is defined as classification accuracy. In this study, hard vote classes are employed as a model developed to evaluate feature subsets that have been chosen. It is used as an evaluation function (fitness function) to evaluate each dragonfly in the population. The proposed ensemble hard voting classifier utilizes a combination of five machine-learning algorithms to produce a binary classification for feature selection: Support Vector Machine (SVM), K-Nearest Neighbors (K-NN), Naive Bayes (NB), Decision Tree (DT), and Random Forest (RF). According to the results of the experiments, the voting ensemble classifier has the greatest accuracy value among the single classifiers. The proposed method showed that when training the subset features, the accuracy generated by the voting classifier is high at 98.24%, whereas the training of all features achieved an accuracy of 96.49%. Tylosin belongs to macrolides, which have been classified as critically important antimicrobials in veterinary. The antibiotic of Tylosin is a preparation of a new formulation of veterinary injectable aqueous solution at a concentration of 20%. It was prepared under sterile conditions. The collected data are concerning the information of the materials used in the preparation of the formula from the “British pharmacopoeia; this information includes the physical and chemical properties of the active ingredient and additives used in the formulation. The physical properties are clear yellow viscous aqueous solutions free from undesired particles. The formula was tested by biological method at room temperature and activity was observed at 104%. On the other hand, the formula’s stability was stored at an incubator at temperatures (40, 50, 60ºC) with a humidity of 65% for seven months. In the first month, the activity result was observed to be 100%. While the continuous storage of the formula in seven months shows a ratio between 95% to 105%activity, which is within the allowed limits. At the same time, the acidic condition (pH) is varied between 5 and 7.5. The injection solution is used for the treatment of respiratory bacterial infection in large animals and also in the treatment of mastitis refractory. Finally, clinical evaluation and therapeutic effect examination were carried out in the veterinary hospital/Baghdad. The formula was used to treat respiratory inflammation in small and large animals. Protease inhibitors (PIs) are a ubiquitous, diverse group of molecules present in multiple forms in all organisms. These inhibitors inactivate proteases from predators/pathogens in addition to regulating intracellular proteolysis. In addition to intracellular localization, storage organs of plants are also a potential site of protease inhibitors. Proteins with trypsin inhibitory activity were isolated from Nigella sativa seed extracts by ammonium sulphate precipitation. Extraction conditions were optimized by choosing an optimum solvent, temperature and incubation period. The highest inhibitory activity of protein extracts was achieved by using 50 mM Tris buffer as solvent and overnight incubation of the suspension at 4°C. The crude seed extract fractionated at 60% ammonium sulphate concentration exhibited highest trypsin inhibitory activity, i.e., 60.15 ± 2.95 %, which was comparable to soybean trypsin inhibitor used as positive control. Ammonium sulphate precipitation of crude extract yielded 39.83-fold purification. Partially purified trypsin inhibitor exhibited 2.39±0.23 TIU mg-1. Additionally, Nigella sativa protein extracts were also investigated for their health-promoting effects against two important proteases, a-Dipeptidyl peptidase-IV (DPP-IV) and angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE). Highest inhibitory activity against ACE was shown by the crude extract of N. sativa. Among AS fractions, 30% ammonium sulphate concentration exhibited highest inhibition activity against ACE and DPP-IV. Our results suggest that the widely believed role of N. sativa in control of hypertension may at least be partially shared by inhibition of ACE. This is the first study conducted to evaluate the biological activity of N. sativa protein extracts suggesting a potential use of N. sativa proteins in management of hypertension as well as an important source of trypsin inhibitor. Background: The first-line treatments for mild-moderate and moderate-severe depression according to the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence clinical guidelines for the management of depression in adults are psychological therapies followed by or alongside pharmacological treatment. We conducted an audit of patient records (as recorded by general practitioners (GPs)) to compare practice to the guidelines.Methods: Incident cases were retrospectively identified from electronic primary care records (SystmOne). From 40 320 registered patients, cases were identified based on previously coded new diagnoses of depression in the 2016-2017 and 2017-2018 Quality and Outcomes Framework (QOF) years. Patient notes were screened for exclusion criteria (mental health problems that would alter management pathway) and for records of management discussions (pharmacological or psychological therapies) at the diagnostic appointment.Results: In 2016-2017 (n=315), psychological therapies for depression were discussed at 63.2% of diagnostic appointments, they were most discussed at appointments with those aged 18-29 years (70.8%), but this decreased with age to 56.3% of appointments with those aged ≥65 years. In 2017-2018 (n=244), psychological therapies were discussed at 70.9% of diagnostic appointments but were discussed at more appointments with those aged 18-29 years (81.6%) and at less appointments with those aged ≥65 years (39.4%). Discussion of pharmacological management was similar for all age groups in 2016-2017 (89.9%) and 2017-2018 (93.0%).Implications: For patients aged ≥65 years, psychological therapies are featuring less in management discussions with GPs or are not being recorded. Drug abuse or overdose in accidents is a serious social issue. This study concerned the adsorption behaviour of the Valium drug in both simulated gastric and intestinal pH onto the untreated eggshell powder by using UV spectroscopy. The effects of various experimental parameters such as contact time, pH-solution, an adsorbent dosage of Valium and temperature range (300-320k) on the adsorption capacities have been investigated. The suitability of Langmuir and Freundlich adsorption models to the experimental equilibrium data at different solution temperatures were calculated. The adsorption was well described by the Freundlich isotherm model and Langmuir, S3 for the stomach and S2 for the intestine according to the Giles classification. Thermodynamic parameters such as ∆H°, ∆G°, and ∆S° results showed that the adsorption of the drug increases by increasing the temperature in the stomach solution, i.e., the endothermic reaction decreases by increasing the temperature at the intestinal solution, i.e., the reaction is exothermic. Experimental data were also tested in terms of adsorption kinetics, the results illustrated that the adsorption process was following pseudo-second-order kinetics in the stomach solution and first order in the intestinal solution. Our work aimed for organic synthesis and biological investigation of some new heterocyclic derivatives by three steps : the first step included synthesis of some five-membered and six-membered heterocyclic derivatives (Pyrazole, Isoxazole, Oxazine and Thiazine) from Chalcone. The second step included synthesis of some 1,3-Oxazipene derivatives from Schiff's bases derived from Azo compound. The third step included the assay of biological activity of all compounds against four types of pathogens bacteria (Staphylococcus aureus, Granutice tella adiacens) gram positive and ( E. coli, Proteus mirabilis) gram negative the results exhibited excellent biological activity for all derivatives compared to antibiotics (Ampicillin and Ciprofloxacin). Introduction: Amphotericin B is considered as one of the most effective antifungal drugs presently used to treat systemic fungal infections; however, nephrotoxicity remains the major side effect. The current study is therefore, designed to determine Amphotericin B induced nephrotoxicity and its prevention by administration of Nigella sativa (NS) extract in albino mice. Materials and Methods: Thirty two albino mice, 6 – 8 weeks of age, 30 ± 5 gm body wt, were randomized into four groups of eight mice each. Group A (control) was injected 3.7 ml/kg of 5% dextrose solution intraperitoneally daily for 7 days. Group B was treated with Amphotericin B (18.5 mg/kg dissolved in 3.7ml of 5% dextrose solution) intraperitoneally daily for 7 days. Group C received Amphotericin B (18.5 mg/kg dissolved in 3.7ml of 5% dextrose solution) intraperitoneally along with Extract of Nigella sativa (500 mg/kg) orally daily for 7 days. Group D received Amphotericin B (18.5 mg/kg dissolved in 3.7 ml of 5% dextrose solution) intraperitoneally for initial 7 days; after completing the injection regimen, extract of Nigella sativa 500 mg/kg was given orally daily for next 7 days. At the end of the experiment, cardiac puncture was performed to draw blood from each animal for renal function tests. Results and Conclusions: Nigella sativa when co-administered with Amphotericin B significantly contained serum urea and serum creatinine levels (p < 0.001) implying thereby that Amphotericin B induced nephrotoxicity was significantly reduced. However, when Nigella sativa extract was given after Amphotericin B, the toxic effects of the drug persisted unabated thus indicating that Nigella sativa protects but do not ameliorates the toxic effects of the drug. but do not ameliorates the toxic effects of the drug.
