The article is devoted to the research of changes in the role of local government bodies in shaping the formation of potential of rural territories in the conditions of decentralization reform. The main methods of research are logical, generalization, analysis, synthesis and analogy, as well as observation.

The article outlines the nature of the aviation normative document as a legal and linguistic phenomenon. Differences in English and Ukrainian lexical systems cause application of translation transformations. Lexical transformations of concretization, generalization, addition, omission, modulation, and descriptive translation prove to be the most frequent in English-Ukrainian translation of ICAO normative documents.

This research paper deals with the scientific research of institutional-procedural and behavioral attributes, principles and indicators of typology of mixed-type republics in European countries. The conducted scientific analysis gives grounds to argue that the defining directions in this context are the appeal to the problems of formation and activity of governments and the possibility of dissolving parliaments (ie scientific institutional and procedural differentiation of hybrid republican forms), dualism, legality and responsibility of executive bodies, as well as the index of presidential powers and the peculiarities of the dualism of the executive branch.

The overall aim of the paper is to analyse the distribution of state agricultural support in Ukraine with the purpose of drawing up proposals on how to make it more objective-oriented. The investigation is based on the results of a case study conducted in Zdolbuniv district3, in the Rivne region of Ukraine, where interviews with local agricultural experts were held. The research is founded on the Linear Programming (LP) methodological approach, which is applied to calculate an objective-oriented agricultural budget allocation. This approach also integrates judgements from district agricultural experts. The outcomes show that agricultural support should have been redistributed in a slightly different way from the district perspective. However, the calculated changes in most cases match with the overall development directions in the Ukrainian agricultural support policy. Furthermore, the developed model has proved to be a useful and, at the same time, quite simple tool in application support, and one which could have been used by the agricultural decision-makers in the process of the distribution of agricultural support.

The article deals with a description of educating students of Ukrainian language and literature (BA and MA level) within a double major program including “Ukrainian language and literary” at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Zagreb (Croatia). A description is based on an analysis of contemporary educational program on Ukrainian studies and on the project of reforming it in 2018 to 2020.

In Croatian language foreign toponyms are presented in an original form (concerning languages with Latin alphabet) or they are transliterated / transcribed (concerning non-Latin alphabet languages). In practice, use of foreign synonyms in scientific, lexicographic and cartographic reference sources by mass media etc. is accompanied by orthographic divergences. Considering all the above mentioned, along with tendencies in standardization of toponyms according to UNGEGN, there still remains the need for standardization of Ukrainian toponyms in Croatian language.

Based on the social relations between individuals in transit situations that are the result of a conflict - generated sociability. It is based on the understanding that traffic accidents involving deaths constitute "epidemics" for current societies and enter the public health agenda with morbimortalities due to external causes, due to the high frequency in which they occur, especially reaching the young / adult. Thus, the issue of road safety, deaths and the negative aspects of conflictive sociability in traffic in the city of São Luís - MA, addressing a critical context of mortality in traffic in the mentioned municipality, which is between the capitals Brazil, leading the ranking of the main regions of the country with an expressive number of deaths. In addition, it depicts an investigation of traffic deaths from the assessment of the negative effects of sociability on the road through the experiences of the victims' families. This is a choice and an important demarcation to understand traffic as a space of disputes that have consequences for the whole of society. This dimension of the work emphasizes the existence of a hierarchy of the social space of transit, that is, realities of deaths intertwined with the question of the inequality between stratified positions of the own society during the conflict and extending to the death. Thus, the general objective of the thesis was to carry out a quanti-quali survey on traffic accidents with deaths in the city of São Luís - MA, in the period from 2010 to 2014. It reiterates that this research has specific objectives: morbidity and mortality in traffic, through documentary and statistical surveys at local, regional, national and global levels; To analyze the socioeconomic characteristics of the relatives of fatal victims and to know the impacts of this type of death among different social classes; To identify elements present in the narratives of the relatives of the victims of fatal traffic accidents in the city of São Luís - MA, traces of the relationship of traffic with death. We conclude for what we consider a "class struggle" in the transit environment, where individuals of distinct social and hierarchical positions meet and keep alive the terrible dispute over space. A presente Tese versa sobre a questão dos acidentes de trânsito com mortes no município de São Luís-MA, a partir das relações sociais tecidas entre indivíduos em situação de trânsito que são resultados de uma sociabilidade engendrada no conflito. Parte-se do entendimento de que os acidentes de trânsito com mortes constituem “epidemias” para as sociedades atuais e entram na agenda da saúde pública com as morbimortalidades por causas externas, devido à alta frequência em que ocorrem, sobretudo, atingindo a população jovem/adulto. Assim, aborda-se a questão da (in)segurança viária, mortes e os aspectos negativos da sociabilidade conflituosa no trânsito no município de São Luís- MAdirecionando para um contexto crítico de mortalidade no trânsito no referido município, que se encontra entre as capitais brasileiras, liderando o ranking das principais regiões do país com expressivo número de mortes.Além disso, retrata uma investigação sobre as mortes no trânsito, a partir da avaliação a respeito dos efeitos negativos da sociabilidade no trânsito, por meio das experiências dos familiares das vítimas. Essa é uma escolha e uma demarcação importante para entender o trânsito como sendoum espaço de disputas que acarretam consequências para toda a sociedade. Essa dimensão do trabalho destaca a existência de uma hierarquização do espaço social do trânsito, isto é, realidades de mortes entrelaçadas com a questão da desigualdade entre posições estratificadas da própria sociedade durante o conflito e estendendo-se à morte. Dessa forma, o objetivo geral da Tese foi realizar uma pesquisa quanti-quali sobre os acidentes de trânsito com mortes no município de São Luís-MA, no período de 2010 a 2014. Reitera-se que esta pesquisa tem como objetivos específicos: Estimar a questão da morbimortalidade no trânsito, mediante levantamento documentais e estatísticas local, regional, nacional e mundial; Analisar as características socioeconômicas dos familiares de vítimas fatais e conhecer os impactos desse tipo de morte entre classes sociais distintas,mediante análise da estratificação e; Identificar elementos presentes nas narrativas dos familiares das vitimas de acidentes de trânsito fatais no município de São Luís-MA, traços da relação do trânsito com a morte. Concluímos para o que consideramos uma “luta de classes” no ambiente do trânsito, onde indivíduos de posicionamentos sociais e hierárquicos distintos se encontram e mantém viva a terrível disputa pelo espaço.
