In the present study, the investigation of weldability of ultra-high strength steel has been presented. The thermal simulated samples were used to investigate the effect of welding cooling time t8/5 on microstructure and mechanical properties of heat affected zone (HAZ) for a Weldox 1300 ultra-high strength steel. In the frame of these investigation the microstructure was studied by light and transmission electron microscopies. Mechanical properties of parent material were analysed by tensile, impact and hardness tests. In details the influence of cooling time in the range of 2,5 ÷ 300 sec. on hardness, impact toughness and microstructure of simulated HAZ was studied by using welding thermal simulation test. The microstructure of ultra-high strength steel is mainly composed of tempered martensite. The results show that the impact toughness and hardness decrease with increase of t8/5 under condition of a single thermal cycle in simulated HAZ. The increase of cooling time to 300 s causes that the microstructure consists of ferrite and bainite mixture. Lower hardness, for t8/5 ≥ 60 s indicated that low risk of cold cracking in HAZ for longer cooling time, exists.

Despite the similar clinical features of Olfactory Reference Disorder (ORD) and Social Phobia (SP), or studies showing elevated comorbidity of the two disorders, and the conceptualization of ORD as a form of SP in the East Asian culture, to our knowledge, the relationship between ORD and SP has not been investigated. This study examined the association of ORD according to the 11th revision of the International Classification of Diseases (ICD-11) and SP in 225 German university / college students who completed self-ratings with regard to socio-demographic data and symptoms of SP and ORD within an anonymous internet-based survey. Symptoms of SP were assessed with the Social Phobia Inventory (SPIN). Symptoms of ORD according to the ICD-11 were assessed with the Olfactory Reference Disorder Questionnaire (ORDQ), developed for this study. In our sample, 86.6% of the participants who met the self-rated features for ORD also met the self-rated criteria for current SP. ORD severity scores were significantly related to SP. Participants with and without self-reported ORD differed significantly in their SP total scores. SP severity was also significantly correlated with poorer insight of ORD-related beliefs, greater ORD-related avoidance of intimate relationships and higher levels of shame and fear of rejection due to body odor. These preliminary findings indicate that ORD could be closely related to SP and highlight the need for future research on the relationship of ORD and SP in order to gain a better understanding of the development, maintenance, treatment and classification of ORD.

A professor, scholar, and canonist of exceptional ability, he is considered one of the world's most prominent experts on the Code of Canon Law. In light of his competence and experience, The Servant of God Pope John Paul II, appointed his Eminence as Prefect of the Dicastery for Catholic Education in 1999. Abstract Background Childhood adversities, especially emotional abuse, emotional neglect, and peer victimization are considered to be crucial risk factors for social anxiety disorder (SAD). We investigated whether particular forms of retrospectively recalled childhood adversities are specifically associated with SAD in adulthood or whether we find similar links in other anxiety or depressive disorders. Methods Prevalences of adversities assessed with the Childhood Trauma Questionnaire (CTQ) and a questionnaire of stressful social experiences (FBS) were determined in N = 1091 outpatients. Adversity severities among patients with SAD only (n = 25), specific phobia only (n = 18), and generalized anxiety disorder only (n = 19) were compared. Differences between patients with anxiety disorders only (n = 62) and depressive disorders only (n = 239) as well as between SAD with comorbid depressive disorders (n = 143) and SAD only were tested. Results None of the adversity types were found to be specifically associated with SAD and severities did not differ among anxiety disorders but patients with depressive disorders reported more severe emotional abuse, physical abuse, and sexual abuse than patients with anxiety disorders. SAD patients with a comorbid depressive disorder also reported more severe adversities across all types compared to SAD only. Conclusion Findings indicate that particular forms of recalled childhood adversities are not specifically associated with SAD in adulthood. Previously established links with SAD may be better explained by comorbid depressive symptoms.

Body dysmorphic disorder (BDD), together with its subtype muscle dysmorphia (MD), has been relocated from the Somatoform Disorders category in the DSM-IV to the newly created Obsessive-Compulsive and Related Disorders category in the DSM-5. Both categorizations have been criticized, and an empirically derived classification of BDD is lacking. A community sample of N = 736 participants completed an online survey assessing different psychopathologies. Using a structural equation modeling approach, six theoretically derived models, which differed in their allocation of BDD symptoms to various factors (i.e. general psychopathology, somatoform, obsessive-compulsive and related disorders, affective, body image, and BDD model) were tested in the full sample and in a restricted sample (n = 465) which indicated primary concerns other than shape and weight. Furthermore, measurement invariance across gender was examined. Of the six models, only the body image model showed a good fit (CFI = 0.972, RMSEA = 0.049, SRMR = 0.027, TLI = 0.959), and yielded better AIC and BIC indices than the competing models. Analyses in the restricted sample replicated these findings. Analyses of measurement invariance of the body image model showed partial metric invariance across gender. The findings suggest that a body image model provides the best fit for the classification of BDD and MD. This is in line with previous studies showing strong similarities between eating disorders and BDD, including MD. Measurement invariance across gender indicates a comparable presentation and comorbid structure of BDD in males and females, which also corresponds to the equal prevalence rates of BDD across gender.

The Congregation for Catholic Education is a part of the government of the Holy See. The genesis of this Dicastery can be traced to special commissions created by the Roman Pontiffs for maintaining vigilance over the universities in Rome and other educational institutions in the Papal States. A general overview of the history of the Congregation for Catholic Education will help the reader understand the service it offers to the Church, within the different levels of Catholic teaching.

Odbyłem bowiem studia na Wydziale Prawa Kanonicznego Papieskiego Uniwersytetu Gregoriańskiego w Rzymie, który – jak podkreślił Jan Paweł II – zrodził się „z apostolskiej gorliwości św. Ignacego Loyoli” .1 Na tym uniwersytecie zdobyłem kolejne stopnie naukowe, a następnie przez ponad 25 lat byłem jego wykładowcą, pracując jednocześnie w Najwyższym Trybunale Sygnatury Apostolskiej. Tendo como ponto de partida e fio condutor uma passagem de O Pequeno Príncipe, de Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, a reflexão está estruturada em três momentos: no primeiro, inspirando-se na frase da personagem Rosa “O vento arrasta-os”, empreende um esforço por sintetizar a realidade que nos circunda; no segundo, considerando a frase da mesma personagem “Faltam-lhes as raízes”, analisa as consequências do vento atual na sociedade e na educação superior; no terceiro e último momento, seguindo o restante da fala “Isso incomoda-lhes muito”, ressalta as contribuições da filosofia e da teologia para se contrapor ao vento e à carência de raízes, com o objetivo de provocar os nossos professores e estudantes. Esses três momentos são abordados segundo as leis e as declarações do Magistério da Igreja que normatizam e regulam as Universidades Católicas, detendo-se, sobretudo, no Concílio Vaticano II, na Constituição Apostólica Ex corde Ecclesiae, no Decreto sobre a Reforma dos Estudos Eclesiásticos de Filosofia, sem menosprezar algumas intervenções dos Sumos Pontífices. O texto contém três momentos precisos: começa por descrever a identidade das Universidades Católicas; em seguida, sintetiza algumas características da missão das instituições superiores de ensino; e, por fim, aborda brevemente o tema do trabalho prático dessas universidades. Os três momentos são abordados levando-se em conta as leis e as declarações do Magistério da Igreja que estabelecem normas e regulamentam as universidades católicas, concentrando-se, sobretudo, no Concílio Vaticano II, no Código de Direito Canônico e na Constituição Apostólica Ex corde Ecclesiae, sem menosprezar algumas intervenções dos Sumos Pontífices.
