BACKGROUND To explore the expression level of retinoic acid induced 14 (RAI14) in gastric cancer (GC) patients and its potentially clinical prognostic value. MATERIAL AND METHODS Initially, The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) and Oncomine databases were mined to examine the differential expression levels and clinical prognostic significance of RAI14 mRNA in GC patients. Subsequently, 68 cases of GC and paired adjacent normal tissues were collected retrospectively, and the expression level of RAI14 protein was detected by immunohistochemical staining. In addition, Kaplan-Meier univariate and Cox multivariate survival analyses were used to verify the correlation between RAI14 expression and clinicopathological parameters in GC patients and its clinical prognostic significance. IBS-D is a functional bowel disease without clear diagnostic markers and exact pathogenesis. Studies have proved that non-coding RNAs participate in IBS-D. However, tRNA-derived small RNAs (tsRNAs), as a new type of non-coding RNAs that are more suitable as markers, remain to be clarified in IBS-D. Hence, we focused on the identification and potential functions of tsRNAs in IBS-D. Intestinal biopsies were obtained from IBS-D patients and healthy volunteers, and twenty-eight differential tsRNAs were screened by high-throughput sequencing. The changes of tiRNA-His-GTG-001, tRF-Ser-GCT-113, and tRF-Gln-TTG-035 by q-PCR in expanded samples were consistent with the sequencing results. Meanwhile, target gene prediction and bioinformatics showed that the three differential tsRNAs may be involved in some key signal pathways, such as GABAergic synapse, tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α), etc. Their regulation on target genes were demonstrated through cell experiments and luciferase reporter assays. In addition, the receiver-operating characteristic (ROC) analysis showed that the three tsRNAs all could be used as candidate markers of IBS-D. The correlation analysis indicated they were related to the degree of abdominal pain, abdominal distension, and stool morphology. So, we believe that the abnormal tiRNA-His-GTG-001, tRF-Ser-GCT-113, and tRF-Gln-TTG-035 are related to the clinical symptoms of IBS-D, and can target regulate the important molecules of the brain-gut axis, even could be expected as potential biomarkers for the diagnosis and treatment of IBS-D.

BACKGROUND Salvianolate, a common drug for stabilizing heart disease and Angina Pectoris, is considered to be off-label for preventing venous thromboembolism (VTE) or anticoagulation at present. However, many clinical studies have showed that salvianolate can effectively inhibit the deep-vein thrombosis (DVT) incidence, and prevent VTE of perioperative patients in the real world in China. OBJECTIVE This analysis aimed to evaluate the effectiveness and safety of salvianolate in preventing VTE in perioperative patients. METHODS Databases of PubMed, Cochrane Library, Embase, CNKI, Wanfang and VIP were searched until July 2019. Literature retrieval, data extraction and quality assessment were independently completed by two researchers and checked with each other. Review Manager 5.2 software was applied for meta-analysis. RESULTS A total of 429 studies were retrieved, including 11 randomized controlled trials (RCTs) with a total of 1149 subjects. Compared with low molecular weight heparin (LMWH) group alone, salvianolate combined LMWH group had lower DVT incidence in preventing perioperative thrombosis (2.75% and 14.23%, OR: 0.21, 95% CI:[0.08,0.53]; P = .0009). The incidence of adverse reactions of experimental group was similar to that of control group (1.79% and 2.31%, OR: 0.65, 95% CI:[0.18,2.35]. P = .51). Diarrheal irritable bowel syndrome (IBS-D) is a chronic functional bowel disease with no clear diagnostic markers and no satisfactory treatment strategies. In recent years, the importance of intestinal microstructure and function in IBS-D has been emphasized. However, the intestinal tissue proteomics of IBS-D patients has not been analyzed. Here, we systematically analyzed the molecule profiling of the intestinal tissues in IBS-D patients through tandem mass tag (TMT)-based proteomics for the first time, aiming to reveal the pathogenesis and provide evidence for diagnosis and treatment of IBS-D. Five IBS-D patients and five healthy subjects were selected, biopsy tissue samples from the junction of sigmoid and rectum were analyzed by TMT proteomics. Differentially expressed proteins were obtained and bioinformatics analysis was performed. Furthermore, parallel reaction monitoring (PRM) and q-PCR detection were applied to validate the differentially expressed proteins. Eighty differentially expressed proteins were screened, 48 of which were up-regulated and 32 were down-regulated (fold change >1.2, P < 0.05). Bioinformatics analysis showed that these proteins were significantly enriched in the nutrient ingestion pathways which are related to immune molecules. SELENBP1, VSIG2, HMGB1, DHCR7, BCAP31 and other molecules were significantly changed. Our study revealed the underlying mechanisms of IBS-D intestinal dysfunction. SIGNIFICANCE: Irritable bowel syndrome with diarrhea (IBS-D) is a worldwide chronic intestinal disease with no definite diagnostic markers. It is still a challenge to accurately locate the pathogenesis of patients for appropriate treatment strategy. Established proteomics studies of IBS-D are only based on urine, blood, or tissue samples from animals. Our study was the first TMT proteomics analysis on intestinal biopsy tissues of patients with IBS-D, which revealed the changes of molecular spectrum of actual intestinal conditions in patients with IBS-D. Some important molecules and signaling pathways have been found abnormal in our study, which were related with nutrient uptake. They not only provided preliminary clues for low fermentable oligosaccharides, disaccharides, monosaccharides, and polyols (FODMAP) intolerance, an unsolved conundrum of IBS-D, but also revealed obscure problems of protein, lipid, and other nutrients ingestion in IBS-D patients. Some of these differentially expressed molecules have been preliminarily verified, and will may be potential candidate molecules for diagnostic markers of IBS-D.

The vision perception system and control system of robot are the two most sensitive units to radiation when exposed to the radiation environment. It will cause the robot break down, work unstable or shorten the service time if ignore the radiation protection. In this paper, the protective measures of the two systems are discussed from the point of view of design and radiation protection calculation, and the protective effect is evaluated.

For the braking performance investigated when vehicle was on the road of different road adhesion coefficient, the match of ideal braking force distribution curves of front and rear wheels and front and rear arresters was studied. The concept of braking performance to reflect "braking force utilization" was introduced.The braking force utilization algorithm came out depending on the different matches. A light bus was chosen as an example. Vehicle braking performance under different road adhesion coefficient was studied in detail.At the same time, vehicle braking performance under different matches was studied with braking force distribution value changed. The results indicate that, braking force utilization appears first increased and then decreased with the increase of road adhesion coefficient.Along with the increase of braking force distribution value,the braking force utilization decreased on low adhesion coefficient road,then increased on high adhesion coefficient road.The method could evaluate the braking performance on the road of different road adhesion coefficient efficiently.

Auxiliary brake sets had been widely used for heavy duty trucks and advanced buses. They played a role of split-flow braking load of main brake system. As one of auxiliary brake sets eddy current retarder had good braking performance and braking stability, and it is automotive and maintain constant speed by its continual braking. In this paper, key technologies of eddy current retarder, such as braking torque, working volt and current, magnetic circuit, material of rotor plate and iron, heat dissipation performance of rotor plate, match between eddy current retarded and automobile, and effect of temperature rise on its braking performance were presented and discussed in detail. Meanwhile, advantage and disadvantage of eddy current retarder were analyzed.

On the basis of analyzing the structure and working principle of MRF brake, braking torque calculation formula of two disc MRF brake is established. Dynamic yield stress changing with the applied magnetic field is analyzed. Braking torque generated by MRF’s viscous changing with disk rotation velocity is also analyzed when magnetic field is zero. Furthermore; braking torque changing with magnetic field intensity is analyzed under a certain rotation velocity. The study provides a theoretical basis for MRF design.

Eddy current retarder was a retarder braking set used in an automobile, and it can transform kinetic energy or mechanical energy of the automobile into heat energy, and heat energy was emitted around environment by the blades founded in the rotor of eddy current retarder, so flow field within the blade had direct effect on heat elimination and braking performance. In this paper two styles of 2D computational model for the rotor had been established. The flow field between and out of blades were analyzed by using RNG Κ-ε model and energy equation. The velocity distribution, pressure distribution between blades, static pressure on work face and rear face of the blade along radial direction all were accepted. The pressure, velocity and air flux for two styles of the blades had been compared. Numerical analysis of flow field was in favor of improved structure design for the blade.

According to structure of disk MRF brake computational model of inner flow field for MRF was set up at simplified condition when MRF was regarded as Bingham model. Velocity distribution in inner flow field had been analyzed at different brake velocities and magnetic intensity using finite volume method (FVM), and brake torque and power had also been received at the same condition by integral method. Numerical analysis data were compared with theoretical data. Result showed that velocity distribution of inner flow field was not linear at axial direction, and that brake torque of disk MRF brake was constant approximately, and that numerical data and theoretic data were identical and it can provide reference for design.

Design of magnetic circuit is the key for disk MRF brake and has an important effect on brake torque per unit mass. In this paper structure and working principle of disk MRF brake are introduced, and magnetic circuit is designed by using engineering magnetic field method, and main technologies are introduced in detail, and its magnetic field is analyzed based on finite element method. This is benefit for structure optimization of the magnetic circuit. The feather of the magnetic circuit is received by numerical analysis method, and magnetic saturation and leakage phenomenon are found at the circuit, and these problems should be paid attention especially.
