Objective: To evaluate the efficacy and safety of tislelizumab combined with chemotherapy as first ⁃line treatment for locally advanced or metastatic squamous non ⁃ small ⁃ cell lung cancer in the real ⁃world. Methods: A total of 109 patients with lung squamous cell carcinoma were included in the Affiliated Hospital of Inner Mongolia Medical University from January 2021 to December 2023, of whom 66 patients in the tislelizumab combined with chemotherapy group and 43 patients in the chemotherapy group. The objective response rate (ORR), progression⁃free survival (PFS), overall survival (OS) and the incidence of treatment related adverse events (TRAEs) of the two groups were evaluated. Results: At a median follow⁃up of 20.2 months, the ORR of the tislelizumab combined with chemotherapy group was significantly higher than that of the chemotherapy group (75.8% vs. 51.2%) . The median PFS prolonged significantly in the tislelizumab combined with chemotherapy group compared to the chemotherapy group (17.3 months vs. 9.3 months) . OS data were not reached in the tislelizumab combined with chemotherapy group, which was significantly longer than the chemotherapy group (19.3 months, HR=0.38, 95%CI: 0.19-0.68, P=0.002) . The incidence of overall TRAEs and TRAEs above grade 3 in the two groups was similar. The incidence of immune⁃related adverse events (irAEs) in the tislelizumab combined chemotherapy group was 28.8%, including one case (1.5%) of grade 3 and above immune⁃associated pneumonia. Conclusion: Tislelizumab combined with chemotherapy as first⁃line treatment significantly improves the efficacy and manageable safety/tolerability profile in patients with locally advanced or metastatic lung squamous cell carcinoma. [Objective] To study the effect of abiotic stress on the expression of Bt protein in transgenic insect-resistant cotton. [Method] The seedlings of two transgenic insect-resistant cotton varieties Zhongmian 45 (ZGK9822) and Ekang insect cotton 1 (GK19) were treated with low temperature (4℃), high temperature (37℃), 0.1, 0.2, 0.5 mol· L -1 NaCl, mild drought, moderate drought, and severe drought 8 abiotic stress treatments. [Results] Low temperature and high temperature stress caused the Bt protein content in the roots, stems and leaves of the two insect-resistant cotton varieties to decrease to varying degrees. Among them, the Bt protein content of each tissue under low temperature stress was higher than that of high temperature stress; Compared with CK, the content of Bt protein in stems and leaves showed a trend of first decreasing and then increasing. In roots, stems and leaves of different degrees of drought stress, the change trend of Bt protein content was consistent with salt stress. [Conclusion] Abiotic stress seriously affects the expression of Bt protein in transgenic insect-resistant cotton, resulting in dynamic changes in the expression of Bt protein. (Objective) The study aimed to find out the main influence on the quality of genectically modified organism（GMO） and improve the level of quantitative analysis. 【Method】Monte Carlo simulation was first used in the present paper to evaluate the measurement uncertainty（ MU） of MIR604 in a mixed sample. 【Result】The results showed that the relative content of GM corn MIR604 was 0.99% with an uncertainty of 3.76 × 10-4. The 95% coverage interval was 0.54%-0.61%. Therefore, the values above in the present study were of good. 【Conclusion】Of all components in MU, the most significant contribution to the MU from the measurement is the deviation of the volume of liquid transferring. Thus, the accuracy of volume of liquid transfer is key to improving the quality of GMO detection. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

【Objective】 Studying on the temporal and spatial dynamics of Bt protein expression in Bt transgenic cotton and determining the relation of Bt protein expression and Si transgenic cotton can effectively reduce the harm of target pests.【Method】 In this paper, the Bt protein contents in the different tissues, organs, main stem functional leaves and main stem leaves at different positions of transgenic cotton cultivar (GK19) in different growth stages were studied.【Result】The Bt protein contents of all tissues and organs were different, which were in order of seedling > flower > boll > bud > root > stem. There was a reduction tendency of Bt protein in main stem functional leaves in different growth stages with the advance of development. The Bt protein contents among main stem leaves at different positions in different growth stages were obviously different, which indicated the gradual decrease from the first to the seventh leaves in seedling and full budding stage and a gradual stabilization after a slow increase from the first to the seventh leaves in full flowering and boiling stages.【Conclusion】The Bt protein in all growth periods, all tissues and organs of Bt transgenic cotton were expressed, which changed with temporal and spatial dynamics.
