In 1593 Francesco Maria II della Rovere, Duke of Urbino, sent a number of diplomatic gifts to Philip II of Spain, intended for the crown prince, the future Philip III. The gifts included a silver model of a citadel accompanied by a set of compasses, the whereabouts of which are currently unknown; a small gilt-bronze sculptural group which has been identified with Giovanni Bandini's The Hunt , today in the Prado Museum; and an illuminated manuscript recounting glorious episodes from the reign of the Emperor Charles V, Philip III's grandfather, identified with British Library, Add. ms 33733, which contains miniatures possibly by Simonzio Lupi. A study of some of the inventories made in Madrid at the beginning of the seventeenth century has revealed that The Hunt and the illuminated manuscript might subsequently have belonged to persons close to the Duke of Lerma, Philip III's prime minister – namely, Juan de Borja, the duke's uncle, and Jerónimo Funes, the son-in-law of the secretary of state, Count of Villalonga, respectively. Salvage excavations at Qlaʿ, a small fortified Iron IIB site in the southwestern Samaria Highlands, conducted in 1980, revealed several stone-built structures, numerous rock-cut olive-oil extracting installations and two large wine presses. In this article we present the main findings from this investigation, discuss technological and economic aspects of local production and evaluate the probability of royal ownership. In our opinion, the features of this site and other nearby settlements indicate that it was one of the royal production centres of the Kingdom of Israel in the 8th century BCE. The finds uncovered at the site showcase a unique attempt of transformation from a simple subsistence economy into a surplus production, profit-oriented, 'market' economy. This process was initiated and led by the central government in Samaria and probably provided economic prosperity and political strength in the days of Jeroboam II (786–746 BCE). The article "A Title Divergence in the Tomb Robber Papyri: Possible Evidence for Removal from Office as a Punishment" examines the title divergence of the tomb robber Amenemheb in the tomb robber papyri. The author analyzes the Amherst 6 + Léopold II papyrus and concludes that Amenemheb lost his titles due to removal from office and was subsequently sentenced to death. The investigation provides insights into the judiciary and punishments in ancient Egypt. Various individuals and their functions are listed, including the High Priest of Amunrasonther. The papyrus also contains information about thieves who were captured in a pyramid. It is suspected that it is the same person, although different titles are used. It is also discussed why the fourth column of the papyrus is dated earlier than the previous ones. The text deals with the title of an employee of the Temple of Amenope. It is argued that the various evidence refers to the same person. The name Amenemheb is mentioned several times in the tomb robber papyri, with indications that it is the same person. The order of the columns in the papyrus is also mentioned, indicating that the dates are correct. It is argued that it is unlikely that the ancient scribe made mistakes. The text is about the interrogation of thieves who broke into a pyramid. The thieves were presented to the overseer of Thebes and vizier Chaemwaset, the royal attendant Nesamun, and the pharaoh's scribe. They showed the officials the pyramid they had broken into. The interrogation and conviction of the thieves were written down and sent to the pharaoh. The different titles of the individuals involved are also discussed, with an "rwḏ. w" having a higher status than an "ꜥ ḥ. wtj". The text deals with the meaning of the title "rwḏw" in ancient Egyptian texts. It is stated that the title refers to officials who worked for an administration and managed or controlled remote goods on behalf of the owner. It is also noted that the title had a higher social rank than the title "ꜥ ḥ. wtj". Various interpretations are discussed as to why Amenemheb's title is given differently in the tomb robber papyri. It is suspected that this is due to the production process of the papyrus and that the title was changed afterwards to conceal Amenemheb's true office. The exact timing of Amenemheb's removal from office cannot be determined precisely, but it is between the 19th day after the interrogation and verification by the on-site inspection and the writing down of the text on the 22nd day. In the text, Amenemheb is addressed as a former rwḏ. w to clearly identify him. It is suspected that Amenemheb was already demoted before the interrogation, as he may have been an ꜥ ḥ. wtj for some time. Removal from office as a punishment was known in ancient Egypt but is rarely discussed in literature. It is suspected that the perpetrators were executed and that the loss of office was an additional punishment. A green economy is not a common economic practice. This leads the governments in many countries to focus on institutional arrangement and policy development. The institutional arrangement is one of the main significant factors, while green economy policies have to be well developed to support stakeholders and put less pressure on local communities. Hence, this research aims to understand green economic development in Cambodia by focusing on institutional arrangements and green economic development policies. Thus, this research's priority was to evaluate their background and progress, and a comprehensive SWOT (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats) analysis was conducted based on their progress/transition. This research conducted background, progress, and SWOT analyses based on (i) the government's documents, including the code, laws, royal decrees, sub-decrees, prakas, policies, strategic plans, roadmaps, and reports; (ii) development partners' reports from reliable sources, such as UN agencies, UN Programs, ASEAN, the Asian Development Bank, and the World Bank; and (iii) existing literature. This research presented the results and discussed the findings encompassed by political and economic conditions, institutional arrangement and capacities, policy development and coordination, and participation of the public and stakeholders, as well as global green cooperation and funding, which were conditioned by the experiences from the COVID-19 pandemic and the uncertainties resulting from global geopolitical conflicts, such as the Russian–Ukrainian conflicts. The aim of this study is to reveal how exchangees construct their public spaces for collective practices in a built environment that is abandoned and analyse these places along with collective practices retrospectively through changing daily life practices. Exchangees migrated from Greece to Turkey because of the population exchange decision which was taken in the Treaty of Lausanne in 1923. Due to the fact that the exchangee's identity and culture are visible through collective practices in public spaces, eight collective practices, which are weddings, hıdrellez, religious celebrations, official holiday celebrations, seeing-soldiers-off, seasonal preparations, funeral ceremonies, and public announcements of bad news are selected. These places, where collective practices are performed, are the subject of the research. The first-generation exchanges, for their collective practices, besides building spaces of their own, also settled in places that were left by the Greeks. The study focuses on these public spaces. The sample group of this study is the exchangees in Bursa, Görükle village who migrated from Greece. The methods of the study are analysing archive materials in the form of text, photo and maps and memory interviews conducted with the second and third generation exchangees who still use these public places. As a result of the study, it was revealed that the exchangees restructured the collective practice places in order to establish a sense of belonging and reinterpreting their culture and identity in the new settlement. The study concluded that the places of collective practices, spatial memory, the identity of the exchangee and the public spaces left by the Greeks have been transferred by spatial memory. This study reveals the influence of spatial memory, the relevance of belonging, reinterpreting of exchangees’ culture and identity over the restructuring of the physical environment and the transfer of these between generations. The extensive use of white collar workers, such as bookkeepers and clerks, played a crucial role in the formation of modern states during the early modern period. This article focuses on the formation of a Debt Office in Sweden, which was opened in 1719 in order to administer the liquidation of the debt accrued during the previous royal regime. By utilizing the available expertise that had been working on the debt market, it was relatively easy for the new parliamentary rule to found the office. The office became part of the credit system when it interacted with various creditors. The clerical staff helped the market to function by providing intermediation, but their role became increasingly contentious. By examining the clerical staff, we learn how the authorities tried to build a trustworthy institution. The case thereby offers another perspective on credible commitment than research which concentrates on formal political institutions. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Previous research suggests that the portrayal of male and female protagonists in Disney animations may be changing over time. The current study examined the portrayal of gendered behaviors displayed within some of Disney's most successful animated feature length films, including those beyond the Disney princess franchise. Extending the scope of the Disney animated films analyzed was important because both young girls and young boys report little personal interest in male characters within the Disney princess animations. This suggests that it is important to look beyond the Disney princess franchise to understand the gendered behaviors displayed by potentially influential male Disney protagonists. The current study also considered a greater number of masculine and feminine behaviors as well as some gender-neutral traits which had yet to be incorporated. A quantitative content analysis of 39 Disney protagonists from films released between 1937 and 2021 was conducted. The results revealed that male and female protagonists were statistically higher in feminine than masculine traits. Female protagonists from the earliest animations were the most feminine. However, there was no statistical difference in the gendered portrayals of females in the animations released in the 1990s and those released from 2009 to 2021 suggesting some continued stereotyping in females' profiles. Alternatively, male characters were more feminine relatively consistently across time-points. This study concludes that Disney is persistently portraying stereotyped female protagonists, and this could have implications on young females' behavioral profiles. However, the extent to which feminine traits are being celebrated when displayed bymale protagonists needs to be examined, as well as the potential relationship between such messages and boys' behaviors and children's conceptualizations of gender more broadly. Why do affluent people drive used cars, elite chefs praise basic ingredients, and upper‐middle couples arrange backyard weddings? What makes senior professors feel comfortable dressing down and allows men to bring their kids into the office? This article takes a formal sociological approach to explore the cultural phenomenon of "Status Downplay"—a paradoxical type of status display, where more social status is signaled through a subtraction of status symbols. The trans‐contextual analysis of diverse manifestations of status downplay uncovers the inverted cultural presumptions of "doing" and "being" and the hierarchical classifications underlying such parodical presentation of self. The proposed semiotic model articulates the social privilege of unmarked actors' performative flexibility: the social license of those considered "normals" to deviate from the performative norm. The primary goal of this research was to investigate students' perceptions of translation classes in the English language department at Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University. The obtained data underwent fundamental analysis to determine students' concerns and identify components needing alteration to align with their learning objectives. According to the study, students developed an intellectual inclination, focused on recent discoveries, and were motivated to learn more about translation. They comprehended the course's learning objectives, believed it enhanced their professional development, and found it to meet their expectations. Students gained knowledge of translation concerns and key concepts, along with proficiency in translation processes and problem-solving techniques. According to students, the course was thorough, with an appropriate workload, fair evaluation, clear test requirements, and valuable feedback. They appreciated open communication, interaction with tutors, and collaborative problem-solving in translation challenges. The study suggests investigating students' impressions of web-based distance learning courses and how these attitudes evolve during translation courses. Recommendations include faculty training and incentives to participate. This training would assist instructors in becoming more familiar with the material and building effective teaching strategies. It would also guide academics in applying their own research and/or clinical practice, serving as a model for students' reflective practice. It is recommended that students hear from graduates currently applying this knowledge. Finally, future research may focus on translation programs at other universities in Saudi Arabia. In this article, special emphasis has been laid on the role of mothers. Who had a lot of influence on politics, culture, and society? When a royal woman fell ill, it had many meanings, like Akbar's mother pretended to be ill, after which Akbar went to meet his mother, after which Bairam Khan's reign came to an end. Similarly, whenever a Shah or Sultan fell ill, politics used to start. Like it happened during the times of Alauddin Khilji, Jahangir, and Shah Jahan. Many types of drugs were also used during the Mughal period to prevent motherhood. In this way, Babar's wife, Mubarika Begum, could never become a mother because she was given drugs. When Babar's son Kamran fell ill, he feared that his stepmothers would be poisoned. In this way, the royal illness was sometimes real and sometimes feigned. For example, Malika-i Jahan spread rumors about her son's illness and went to Delhi for treatment and overnight deposed Delhi's Sultan Alauddin Masood and her son.
