104. A CONCEITUAÇÃO DA TECFORMAÇÃO.

- Abstract
The present work has the general objective of conceptualizing the term tecformation, which refers to the interaction between man and digital technology in the process of training engagement, which is linked to the poles: self-training and hetero-training. Furthermore, this qualitative and bibliographic investigation is part of an ongoing doctoral thesis at a Brazilian public university. The theoretical foundations of this study were divided into two parts, the first exploring digital technological aspects, with emphasis on the ideas of Manuel Castells and Pierre Lévy. The second part, in turn, focuses on the formative aspects, with emphasis on the arguments of Gastón Pineau and Sidnei Macedo. Thus, these authors were selected as a reference for the analysis of the relationship between digital technologies and human training, contributing to the construction of the concept of Tecformation. Partial reflections lead to the understanding that the concept of digital tech-training represents a great challenge, which is related to new teaching proposals that need to be implemented in educational settings. - Abstract
The article reports a research that looked on the Portal Dia a Dia Educação for methodological possibilities that use digital technologies as a development instrument about mathematical work through programming using the Scratch software. Adopting a qualitative methodology for the selective reading process, the objective was to research for what are the productions found in the named Portal from the Education's Secretary of the State of Paraná, as well as to identify the methodological possibilities when using this tool in Mathematics classes. The investigation also sought in literature for understandings about how Scratch can contribute as a learning tool for students who are studying in Basic Education. It was observed that, although this digital technology is indicated as a way to learn, its use is rarely accompanied by a specific methodology, this facts make it difficult for the teacher to fully understand and use it. It was observed that, although the consulted works reported uses and applications, it is not possible to indicate in which methodological proposals Scratch is inserted when used in Mathematics classes. In this text, I propose the concept of "metapresentiality" as a fundamental element for a Critical Theory of Digital Health. First, I present the concepts of technique, technology, and technical object, central to the theories of Álvaro Vieira Pinto and Milton Santos. Secondly, based on Luciano Floridi's philosophy of information, I question the relevance of the dichotomy real-material-concrete vs. digital-virtual-informational as an ontological foundation for concepts of reality, place, and presence, highlighting the notions of virtual reality and extended reality. Thirdly, I introduce an etymological-historical critique of the series presence-telepresence-metapresence, focusing on the emerging notion of meta-presentiality in the form of proto-concept and its eventual formalization as a conceptual foundation for a socio-technical appropriation and technosocial integration of digital technologies. Finally, I discuss Digital Health as a field of knowledge, techniques and practices and evaluate epistemological and pragmatic advantages of metapresentiality as a concept in the fields of computing, education and health. Digital health includes, among other initiatives, the use of big data analysis techniques and artificial intelligence (AI) for prevention, monitoring and surveillance purposes in health. Still in an experimental stage, applications of AI in health had its development accelerated due to the Covid-19 pandemic. To promote the development of digital technologies in health, and as a consequence of previous developments, the federal government established a Digital Health Strategy for Brazil. Inspired by the Global Digital Health Strategy of the World Health Organization, such strategy was unfolded into actions for massive data collection, such as: the National Network of Health Data (RNDS), which is bonded to the Connect SUS Program, and the prognostic of Open Health. This work, therefore, aims to approach the broader context of the public services digitalization, devoting special attention to the Digital Health Strategy for Brazil 2020-2028. O objetivo deste artigo é apresentar concepções relacionadas a inovação pedagógica.

This research aimed to establish the characteristics and technological competencies for the development of activities, resources and strategies related to virtual education, in teachers of some of the police training schools in Colombia. For this purpose, a descriptive study was carried out in which semi-structured interviews were applied to 109 teachers from the training schools in Velez (Santander) and Bogota D. C., where teaching and learning processes were developed in a virtual way during the year 2020; for triangulation purposes, 385 students from the same schools were interviewed and trained with the participating teachers. The results showed that the skills of teachers are mostly at the exploratory and basic level, mainly in terms of creating materials and resources, understanding the virtual pedagogical model based on information and communication technologies, and mastering information security processes to be transferred to students. The findings made it possible to demonstrate the existence of a gap between the current technological mastery skills of the teachers of the training schools and those of the profile of the police teacher, which may also affect the skills of the graduates and requires an urgent approach from the teacher training plan. This qualitative, exploratory research, supported by a case study, investigated the contribution of the digital platform Elefante Letrado (EL) to the literacy processes considering students in the age group associated with the 3rd year of Elementary School I. The investigation aimed to understand how the pedagogical implementation of EL can enrich these educational processes. The main objective was to explore the platform's integration with literacy practices. In contrast, the secondary objectives included identifying teachers' strategies to use EL, highlighting its most valuable features according to educators, and recognizing areas for improvement to maximize its effectiveness. The methodology initially involved a literature review, followed by a detailed analysis of EL's characteristics and uses, accessible online and aimed at children from 1st to 5th grade. Additionally, semi-structured interviews with eight third-grade teachers from two private schools in Porto Alegre provided insights into how the platform supports the literacy process. - Abstract
The digital technologies that the advancement of the internet has enabled, especially those based on the ubiquity and mobility of this new information and communication system, have changed the way society organizes and interacts. In the communication industry, with each new tool we are even more surprised by the revolutionary force it can exert on our lives. In this universe of emerging technologies, blockchain is one of the initiatives that has sparked a series of studies in the field of business, and as part of the continuation of the history of the internet, its narrative is challenging old ideas, ways of life and business models. The present study maps the imaginary constitution of blockchain based on the discourse about the technology produced by actors/agents in this area under construction. This research has an exploratory nature, with a qualitative approach and is anchored in a methodological arrangement that includes in-depth interviews and Content Analysis. In the bibliographical survey, we reviewed aspects of communication theories, retraced the history of networks and the internet, looked for authors who highlight propositions about blockchain technology and presented a theoretical outline that retraces the main ideas about the imaginary, the construction of the concept as a technological phenomenon and the dimensions that surround it. Through analysis, we seek to understand the points of convergence between blockchain and communication, from the imaginary, keeping in mind how decentralized solutions can provide more reliable experiences for digital communication in the future.

- Abstract
Objective: identify the impacts of increased exposure time to digital screens in childhood during the Covid-19 pandemic. Method: it was performed a field, cross-sectional and quantitative research. It was used a questionnaire in Google Forms released via email, Instagram and WhatsApp, with approval by the Research Ethics Committee of the institution. The final sample was composed by 246 parents and caregivers who answered the submitted questionnaire. The data were analyzed using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) software using measures of relative (%) and absolute (N) frequency, descriptive tests of measures of central tendency (mean) and measures of dispersion (standard deviation). Inferential binary logistic regression tests (enter method) were performed to predict between the variables and Pearson's Chi-square of independence (2x2 and 2x4) for associations and prevalence calculations for each group. A statistical significance of p < 0.05 was adopted. Results: the interviewees reported that most of the children observed used the digital screens every day at week throughout the pandemic, with an average of 3 hours of daily use, starting at age three and the cell phone being the most frequent device used. A direct relationship was observed between longer exposure time and parental supervision in the use of digital technologies and greater daily use in children with 7 years of age or more. Final considerations: there was a significant increase in exposure time to digital screens in childhood during the Covid-19 pandemic, as most respondents reported that children used them daily, with a daily average of more than 3 hours. The impacts of this increased exposure time to digital screens in childhood during the Covid-19 pandemic involved impairments in brain functions, sleep, physical activity, social relationships and children's psychological well-being.
