Drawing on underpinning theories, this study conceptually develops a model helping organizations to transform green strategic mechanisms into a higher hotel's green process innovation performance (GPIP). Using a multi-source survey, the study collected data from 401 respondents in hotels (e.g. 213 CEOs and 188 managing directors/general managers, 198 front-desk managers and 203 production managers). PLS-SEM was used to run regression analysis. The results support that green creativity (GC) is the top among five mediating green drivers, e.g. green organizational identity (GOI), green human capital (GHC), green organizational capital (GOC), and green relational capital (GRC) that strongly supports green strategic intent (GSI) to translate environment strategies into hotel GPIP. Accordingly, GOC highly supports GHC toward the hotel's GPIP compared to GRC. Green knowledge sharing (GKS) negatively moderates the link between GC and the hotel GPIP, but fails to moderate GOI and the hotel GPIP. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

On-the-job training is important for the growth of organizational human capital. The present paper evaluates the efficiency of on-the-job training using the DEA model and knowledge management system to illustrate the interactions of organizational knowledge management concepts for measuring the efficiency of on-the-job training courses for employees within the organizational knowledge management systems. In this research, the DEA method was used to evaluate the efficiency of knowledge management system and analyze the interdependencies of the system. Also, the EU Knowledge and Innovation Management Measurement and the Kirkpatrick models were employed to identify the indicators. This study was conducted on 27 education centers in Iran. The results of evaluating the effectiveness of the knowledge management system show that the factor of "educational resources and facilities" is the most affecting variable and the most affected variable is "educational effectiveness". Then, based on the DEA method, the weights of the sub-factors of the model were determined, and the efficiency of each step and as a result the efficiency of the whole system was obtained. Inefficient units were discarded and finally the efficient units were ranked. The relatively low export innovation capacity is not conductive to the steady transformation and upgrading of China's manufacturing industry, and it is necessary to implement suitable policies to enhance export innovation capacity. This study empirically analyzes the data of 827,471 manufacturing enterprises from 2000 till 2013 to investigate the impact of subsidy policy on export innovation. The overall results show that China's subsidy policy has a significant crowding-out effect on export innovation, and subsidy for relatively small enterprises is more conducive to promoting export innovation; however, enterprises' independent investment does not own much impact on export innovation. The econometric results made from perspectives of the sub-region and the industry reveal that subsidy policy is not conducive to export innovation, independent investment is not beneficial to export innovation, and export innovation ability is positively correlated with enterprise scale, but the influence coefficient shows obvious differences. Quality management and innovation are priority issues in research facilities that close the cycle from research to products delivery for its social use. The objective of this work is to diagnose the conditions for the implementation of the Integrated Quality and Innovation Management System in the Biomaterials Center of the University of Havana, based on the standards: NCISO 9001:2015; NC-ISO 13485:2018 and NC 1307:2019. To do this, the stages to manage the change were established, and a diagnostic tool based on the integration of the mentioned standards was designed and applied. As a result, it was identified the need to strengthen the aspects related to: the strategies for achieving the vision, the management of ideas, the execution of projects by product, the transfer of results, the monitoring and measurement of the management of research, development and innovation activities and their results. In addition, the existing documents in the Center's management system must be modified in order to detail the implementation and monitoring of innovation activities. The coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic stimulated a heated dispute about the quality of higher education through online teaching in China. Based on constructivism theory and self-regulation theory, this study examines the influence of diversified online teaching strategies on students' innovation capacities by questionnaire surveys. The sample included 367 students from 29 full-time regular universities in the mainland, including undergraduate and postgraduate students. The results show that online teaching strategies have a significant positive association with students' ambidextrous innovation capacities. Specifically, the teaching strategies combination constructed by social identification strategies and case guidance is conducive to the formation of exploitative innovation capacity during online teaching. The social participation strategies and flipped classroom are conducive to forming the students' exploratory innovation capacity. In further research, social participation strategy has a significant positive impact on students' ambidextrous innovation capacities for students with higher participation willingness. However, social identification strategies are helpful for the cultivation of ambidextrous innovation capacities for students with lower willingness to participate. Based on the empirical results, this study proposes the online teaching strategies matrix based on social presence theory and social identity theory to provide conducive guidance for improving students' innovation capacities. Like other organizations, academic libraries strive to reshape and rethink their services and skills to preserve their relevance and contribution; innovation is becoming a survival strategy. Besides, knowledge sharing (KS) is believed to be an important factor in creating innovative capabilities and improving innovation. Yet, only scanty empirical research has investigated the possible effect of KS on service innovation (SEI), and empirical evidence on the possible effects of other innovations on SEI is lacking. This study adopted a theoretical framework to analyze the effect of KS on SEI as well as the mediating effects of information technology innovation (ITI) and management innovation (MIN) on the relationship between KS and SEI. The results are derived using a data set from two large academic libraries in Egypt. Although KS has a significant total effect on SEI, its role in augmenting SEI is only secondary since it depends mainly on the mediating role of ITI and MIN. The article perfects the operation of the lines of research in the management of science activity at the University of Matanzas so that they achieve effective expression in the University-Society link. Theoretical and empirical level methods are used. The historical-logical, analytic-synthetic, inductive-deductive, modeling, and system approach were theoretical-level methods used. These methods allowed the proposal of a work procedure. The results achieved through the science, technology, and innovation management indicators established by the Ministry of Higher Education of Cuba were evaluated. New actions to fulfill the goal of deepening the university-government-productive sector linkage and increasing its impact on sustainable economic and social development were projected. Implementing evidence‐based interventions remains slow in federally qualified health centers (FQHCs). The purpose of this study is to qualitatively examine the R = MC2 (Readiness = motivation × innovation specific capacity × general capacity) heuristic subcomponents in the context of implementing general and colorectal cancer screening (CRCS)‐related practice changes in FQHCs. We conducted 17 interviews with FQHC employees to examine (1) experiences with successful or unsuccessful practice change efforts, (2) using approaches to promote CRCS, and (3) opinions about R = MC2 subcomponents. We conducted a rapid qualitative analysis to examine the frequency, depth, and spontaneity of subcomponents. Priority, compatibility, observability (motivation), intra‐ and interorganizational relationships (innovation‐specific capacity), and organizational structure and resource utilization (general capacity) emerged as highly relevant. For example, organizational structure was described as related to an organization's open communication during meetings to help with scheduling procedures. The results contribute to understanding organizational readiness in the FQHC setting and can be helpful when identifying and prioritizing barriers and facilitators that affect implementation. Using panel data from 269 Chinese cities, this study examined the impact of housing prices (HP) on cities' innovation capacity (IC) in China. Firstly, a fixed effect model was used to analyze the effect of HP on cities' IC in China, revealing that HP positively impacts cities' IC. Next, several robustness tests were conducted to verify the finding's reliability. Thirdly, the analysis empirically tested mediating mechanisms between HP and cities' IC in China. The results show that, on the one hand, higher HP can improve cities' IC by attracting talents and stimulating the growth of local fiscal revenue. On the other, increasing HP can inhibit cities' IC in China by attracting funds into the real estate market and impeding residents' consumption ability. Finally, the heterogeneous nature of the HP-IC link in China was further explored. New industrial dynamics are disrupting the space sector. New stakeholders bringing in capital, technologies, and knowledge from other industries are developing next-generation space infrastructures and services. Both commercial and institutional space projects have to be valuable for a wider set of end-users, asking not only for economic returns but also social and environmental benefits. Space organizations urge understanding and fostering value in the New Space Economy ecosystem. Indeed, end-users are still struggling to enact the expected value of satellite data and solutions for their business. This paper aims to investigate the expected value and the level of adoption (enacted value) of satellite data and satellite-based solutions in the New Space Economy ecosystem from end-users' perspective. We interviewed 21 managers from end-user organizations in different sectors (i.e., Insurance & Finance, Energy & Utility, Transportation & Logistics). Value is deeply discussed in general management literature, and we identify Value Theory as the theoretical lens with the most explanatory power for the phenomenon under examination. From the end-users' perspective, we frame the expected value and the enacted value in taking strategic and tactical decisions regarding their activities, services and products, laying the foundations for further studies of value mechanisms in the New Space ecosystem. Our research set a theoretical and conceptual foundation on value in the New Space ecosystem. It also delineates the blurred boundaries of the New Space ecosystem, the main stakeholders involved, and their perception of value. Insights and implications for strategic and innovation management are also provided. Practitioners may exploit our research results and leverage the end-users-oriented framework to develop next-generation space projects in the New Space ecosystem. Purpose: We analyze the insertion of the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC) and the State University of Santa Catarina (UDESC) in the consolidation process of the Regional Innovation System in the Brazilian state of Santa Catarina. Design/methodology/approach: We adopt the documentary research method in the environments of the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC) and the State University of Santa Catarina (UDESC). With regard to data analysis, we use the theoretical-analytical categorization, based on research and development (R&D) and skills-building indicators by innovative learning. Findings: The study results show the mediation and knowledge production roles that both universities play in RIS to organizations. This allowed us to understand that the studied universities were included in this process, through the learning flows of innovative channels, which covered the areas of undergraduate and research. Social Implications: This investigation reflects the social and economic relevance of the universities studied for the region in which they are inserted in the context of RIS. Originality/value: The actions related to the analyzed indicators encompass interests from both the public and private spheres, thus enabling systemic results in the processes of generating innovative knowledge, which reinforces the capacity for innovation at the regional level. New business opportunities, driven by smart digitalization technology and initiatives such as Industry 4.0, significantly change business models and their innovation rate. The complexity of methodologies developed in recent decades for balancing exploration and exploitation activities of digital transformation has risen. Still, the desired integration levels across organizational levels were often not reached. Systems thinking promises to holistically consider interdisciplinary relationships and objectives of various stakeholders across supply chain ecosystems. Systems theory‐based concepts can simultaneously improve value identification and aligned transformation among supply networks' organizational and technical domains. Hence, the study proposes synthesizing management science concepts such as strategic alignment with enterprise architecture concepts and artificial intelligence (AI)‐driven business process optimization to increase innovation productivity and master the increasing rate of business dynamics at the same time. Based on a critical review, the study explores concepts for innovation, transformation, and alignment in the context of Industry 4.0. The essence has been compiled into a systems engineering‐driven framework for agile value generation on operational processes and high‐order capability levels. The approach improves visibility for orchestrating sustainable value flows and transformation activities by considering the ambidexterity of exploring and exploiting activities and the viability of supply chain systems and sub‐systems. Governments, organizations, and researchers discuss the policies necessary for people and societies to lead a happy life in the 21st century as a critical issue. Although researchers expect a positive relationship between the happiness levels of communities and their social development levels, it is necessary to question the direction, the strength of this relationship and the existence of different variables affecting it. In this context, in this study, we aimed to examine the relationships among societies’ development level, happiness level, and innovation capacity. For this purpose, we obtained 2020 data from global reports covering the social development, innovation, and happiness variables of 119 countries. We tested the research model within the framework of these data and hierarchical regression analysis, and we found that innovation partially mediates the relationship between the social development levels of countries and happiness. The specific context and characteristics of ecological studies mean datasets are often small and poorly suited to many advanced analytical approaches. Some important ecological insights can only be derived from Small Data, so its collection should not be neglected. Ongoing advances in study design, data analysis, and machine learning methods increase the value of 'Small Data' beyond the intrinsic purposes for which they are originally collected. These methods include transfer learning, generating synthetic data, using causal model structures and new approaches to collating Small Data. The greatest opportunities will arise if the reusability of Small Data is improved. Big Data science has significantly furthered our understanding of complex systems by harnessing large volumes of data, generated at high velocity and in great variety. However, there is a risk that Big Data collection is prioritised to the detriment of 'Small Data' (data with few observations). This poses a particular risk to ecology where Small Data abounds. Machine learning experts are increasingly looking to Small Data to drive the next generation of innovation, leading to development in methods for Small Data such as transfer learning, knowledge graphs, and synthetic data. Meanwhile, meta-analysis and causal reasoning approaches are evolving to provide new insights from Small Data. Objective: This study aims to analyze the organizational processes to verify if there is alignment between sustainable supply chain management and innovation practices in a textile industry in Vale dos Sinos Design/methodology/approach: the methodology employed was a case study with the Lambda Company, which used as a basis a conceptual model on innovation and sustainable management of the supply chain, where data were collected through an open semi-structured interview with the financial manager, non-participant observation and documentary research analyzed through the comparison between empirical and bibliographic data. Results: The results show that the company has been structuring programs and positioning itself in a more sustainable way, but it needs to stimulate activities that align innovation and sustainable management of its supply chain supporting its organizational strategy. This paper investigates the innovative intensity (iMID effect) in the local production systems (LPSs) using dynamic territorial units that modifies their geographical boundaries and specialization over time. The paper is based on the idea that the local communities are the real unit of generation of innovation and that they are constantly changing, behaving like a 'living innovation machine'. To explore this dynamic relationship, the paper applies the Marshallian industrial district (MID) as an approach to industrial change. Then, it focuses on the Marshallian industrial districts (MIDs) as a type of LPS and asks how the innovation effect changes in MIDs and other types of LPSs when dynamic territorial units are used. The differences in innovation intensity between the different types of LPSs are explained for Spain in the period 1991–2014 using new methods of analysis that combine causal analysis, a variable and adaptive geometry of territorial units and industrial specialization, and machine learning methods. The results show that the transformation of an LPS into another type of LPS does not automatically imply a change in innovative capacity, and the type of LPS of origin continues to be relevant in explaining current innovation processes. Given the dynamic nature of contemporary markets and the importance of innovation driving new sources of revenue, it is essential for firms to manage innovation to gain an advantage. However, the innovation process is complex and presents multiple strategies for success with little support for managers in selecting the most appropriate strategy. In this paper, a decision making grid (DMG) was developed for selecting between four strategies of closed, open, incremental and radical innovation, based on two time-dependent indicators of Mean Time to Innovate (MTTI) and Mean Time between Innovations (MTBIs). The two indicators were defined, weighted, and allocated to the cells of DMG using a heuristic method. Questionnaire responses from 106 knowledge-based companies were received in 2018 and the firms were positioned in the developed DMG. The companies' strategies were determined as 31 firms with closed, 16 open, 14 incremental, and 10 radical innovation strategies. Five different combined strategies were used by 35 companies. The article that is presented from the methodological conception that it assumes, presents a renewed look at the university-company link in the Guantanamo context, where capacity building and innovation management centralize the relationships in the work system as nuclei. Innovation refers to innovations that can achieve big returns with small touches without incurring large costs. Innovation is a very important element that creates added value, as it provides an increase in revenues without increasing costs too much. Innovation performances of companies make great contributions to both micro economics and macro economics. Today, all companies have realized this fact and intensified their innovative product development studies. The purpose of this research is to examine the effect of employee training in enterprises on the innovation performance of employees. Within the scope of the research, a questionnaire was applied to 108 employees in three production enterprises operating in Bandırma. Correlation and regression analyzes were performed with the obtained data. As a result of the analysis, it was determined that employee training had a positive and significant effect on innovation performance. However, it has been concluded that employee training has a significant and positive effect on the management innovation of the employees, and that the employee training has a significant and positive effect on the technical innovation of the employees. Ecosystems are in danger due to human-caused air, water, and soil pollution, so it is important to find the underlying causes of this issue and develop practical solutions. This study adds to environmental research gap by suggesting the load capability factor (LCF) and using it to look at the factors affectting environmental health. The load capacity factor simplifies monitoring environmental health by illustrating the distinction between ecological footprint and biocapacity. We examine the interplay between mobile phone users (Digitalization DIG), technological advancements (TEC), renewable energy use, economic growth, and financial development. This study assesses G8 economies' data from 1990 to 2018, using a Cross-Section Improved Autoregressive Distributed Lag CS-ARDL estimator and a cointegration test. The data shows that green energy, TEC innovation, and DIG are all beneficial for natural health. Based on the results of this study, the G8 governments should focus on environmental policies that promote economic growth, increase the use of renewable energy sources, guide technological progress in key areas, and encourage the development of digital information and communications technologies that are better for the environment. The aerospace industry is one of the main drivers of the economies of Portugal and Andalusia (Spain), where it generates more than 30,000 jobs and sales of over 4000 million euros. This study analyses the needs and capacities regarding innovation of companies and R&D centres in the aerospace sector of both regions. 277 entities of Portugal and Andalusia provided valid responses to a questionnaire concerning 107 innovation resources. Regional and cross-border collaboration opportunities have been detected utilizing the survey data. The results show that the productivity and innovation capacity of companies in the sector could increase in both territories through better use of the existing resources. A significant set of identified needs can be addressed by capacities existing in the neighbouring region, which supports the urgency to enhance cross-border collaboration. The impact of micro-level people's activities on urban macro-level indicators is a complex question that has been the subject of much interest among researchers and policymakers. Transportation preferences, consumption habits, communication patterns and other individual-level activities can significantly impact large-scale urban characteristics, such as the potential for innovation generation of the city. Conversely, large-scale urban characteristics can also constrain and determine the activities of their inhabitants. Therefore, understanding the interdependence and mutual reinforcement between micro- and macro-level factors is critical to defining effective public policies. The increasing availability of digital data sources, such as social media and mobile phones, has opened up new opportunities for the quantitative study of this interdependency. This paper aims to detect meaningful city clusters on the basis of a detailed analysis of the spatiotemporal activity patterns for each city. The study is carried out on a worldwide city dataset of spatiotemporal activity patterns obtained from geotagged social media data. Clustering features are obtained from unsupervised topic analyses of activity patterns. Our study compares state-of-the-art clustering models, selecting the model achieving a 2.7% greater Silhouette Score than the next-best model. Three well-separated city clusters are identified. Additionally, the study of the distribution of the City Innovation Index over these three city clusters shows discrimination of low performing from high performing cities relative to innovation. Low performing cities are identified in one well-separated cluster. Therefore, it is possible to correlate micro-scale individual-level activities to large-scale urban characteristics. The so-called 'refugee crisis' marked a crucial juncture in migration governance across Europe. Policy-makers and local communities face the challenge of receiving and integrating migrants (often in extremely vulnerable conditions) in a context of poor governance arrangements and rising skepticism, or even hostility. In the light of such a complex scenario, this special issue explores social innovation as a promising approach to refugee integration. Socially innovative practices are indeed based on the active engagement of policy-makers and assorted stakeholders—including target groups through co-creation. In the realm of asylum policies, social innovation can thus facilitate the meeting of refugees' needs as well as the benevolence of receiving communities, ultimately strengthening social cohesion in regions of settlement. Families hosting migrants at home, community-based cooperatives, and self-managed social spaces are all instances of socially innovative practices that are often initiated by non-state actors but that might be upscaled and transformed into fully fledged public policies—especially by policy-makers at the local and regional levels. The special issue will focus on labor, housing, and social integration of refugees (especially in the stages after their first reception) in the context of Central European cities and regions. The purpose is to develop conceptual tools for evaluating and designing socially innovative practices that might ultimately improve the social innovation capacity of local and regional governments. As the 'social innovation' concept risks to be ambiguous, the special issue will also allow researchers to develop a set of empirically grounded indicators for measuring social innovation capacity—especially based on the analysis of best practices that can be upscaled and replicated through mutual learning. Drawing on "buzz‐and‐pipeline" theory, we develop a framework termed "dual‐pipelines" to discover how the local innovation capacity can benefit from transnational and domestic introduced technology. We find that the intensity of transnational and domestic patent introduction both have an inverted U‐shaped relationship with local innovation capacity. Also, the relatedness and similarity of domestic technology introduced are advantageous to local innovation. However, the transnational introduced technologies are only beneficial if they perform similarly to the local knowledge base while having no significant effect if merely showing relatedness. Absorptive capacity and innovation strategies are determining issues for the survival of organizations in current contexts. A quantitative research study was conducted with a sample of 51 SMEs, and the construct model was analyzed using the SEM method. The results indicate that there is a high correlation between the level of absorptive capacity and innovation strategies. Even though firms in this specific sector work with advanced technologies, there is a basic level of development of absorptive capacity, generating some difficulties for the design and implementation of innovation strategies. Furthermore, by using the acquisition, assimilation, transformation, and exploitation of knowledge from the competitive landscape, firms improve their adaptability in the technological environment. The effects of absorptive capacity on innovation strategy contribute to the development of the extant literature on innovation management strategy and provide some managerial implications and future research areas. Innovation efficiency is an important manifestation of regional innovation capacity, and how to improve regional innovation efficiency is crucial to regional development. This study empirically explores the impact of industrial intelligence on regional innovation efficiency and the possible influence of approaches and mechanisms. The empirical results revealed the following. First, the development level of industrial intelligence can positively affect regional innovation efficiency, while beyond a certain level, its role in promoting regional innovation efficiency will weaken, exhibiting an inverted U-shaped effect. Second, compared with the application research by enterprises, industrial intelligence plays a stronger role in promoting the innovation efficiency of basic research by scientific research institutes. Third, human capital situation, financial development level, and industrial structure upgrading are three significant channels for industrial intelligence to promote regional innovation efficiency. Therefore, accelerating the development of industrial intelligence, formulating individualized policies for different innovative entities, and rationally allocating resources related to the development of industrial intelligence are needed to be taken to improve regional innovation. This paper aims to apply a deep learning algorithm to estimate the prediction of various external financial input variables on the adoption of eco-innovation practices such as renewable energy operations by 5456 SMEs. A Long Short-Term Memory Units (LSTM) is utilized to the data set to assess the performance of different input variables on the adoption of renewable energy. Furthermore, we process the dataset with different machine learning algorithms and compare the results. The findings indicate that LSTM gives the highest performance for all metrics. Popular conceptions of creativity advance a neoliberal world view that reduces creativity to spontaneous ideation or so-called "right-brain thinking." Such formulations, now commonly upheld in popular and educational discourse, blinker the essential role of criticality and sensitivity to socio-cultural context in the creative process. To challenge the neoliberalization of creativity, we designed the Remaking Critical Theory (RCT) process, which synthesizes recent cognitive science and creative humanities research to reconstitute creativity as criticality and vice versa – what we label critical creativity. The process reframes humanistic interpretation as a critical-creative activity and adapts methods from art, design, and innovation management to facilitate the production of humanities insights. Drawing upon dual-process models of creative cognition, we theorize how the RCT process activates the right type of thinking at the right time in the creative process. We also evidence efficacy by delineating and reflecting upon a pilot application at Sheridan College, which culminated in the student researchers making critical theory zines. Objective: This article presents the process data research approach as an opportunity to improve management studies and to create a roadmap for beginners. Process research is a sidelined way to conduct qualitative studies. The fundamental concern of the process approach is to capture and apprehend the meanings attributed to organizational phenomena directly in the field of research, aiming to understand and answer the questions of 'how' and 'why' events change over time. Method: This study reviews selected recent research on innovation management that used process research criteria (temporal orientation, units of analysis, sample, data, analytical strategies, and conceptual products) as the back-drop. Main Results: The main result of this paper is the creation of a ro-admap for applying the process research approach. Also, it highlights ele-ments of improvement for management studies from the process data approach. Firms have effectively utilized big data to foster innovation and improve efficiency across various business processes. Among these processes, the innovation process stands out due to its significant impact on a firm's overall performance. Given its heavy reliance on data, the innovation process is greatly influenced by advancements in emerging technologies, particularly big data. This study aims to explore the influence of big data on a firm's innovation process and how it is integrated into each step to fulfill its requirements. To comprehensively understand this multidisciplinary subject, we employ a combined approach of bibliometric analysis and systematic analysis of existing scientific literature. By systematically analysing selected 59 studies, we have identified the primary areas where big data is utilized during the ideation phase, idea selection, product development, testing, and validation phases, as well as commercialization and continuous innovation. Urbanization drives the concentration of innovation elements and knowledge diffusion, which is conducive to enhancing regional innovation capacity. To meet the developmental needs of the new era, China has released the National New Urbanization Plan (2014–2020) to test the effect of this policy on urban innovation. The 2014 comprehensive pilot project of China's new urbanization strategy is considered a quasi-natural experiment. This study examines relevant data from cities at the prefecture level and above from 2008 to 2019 using DID, PSM-DID, intermediary effect, and other methods. We established an empirical model to investigate the impact of new urbanization pilot policies on urban innovation. The results indicate that the new urbanization pilot policy can significantly promote an increase in urban innovation capacity. The heterogeneity of the impact of new urbanization pilot policies is evident in the improvements to urban grade, region, scale, etc. Regarding function mechanism, new urbanization can promote urban innovation through talent gathering, industrial gathering, income scale, and other effects. This paper posits the importance of summarizing the success of the pilot project of new urbanization and explores new urbanization to promote urban innovation from multiple perspectives. The high fragility and failure rate of technological innovation networks prevent firms and industries from successfully developing innovation capacity and competitiveness. This study offers a network perspective on how technology cluster coupling reinforces innovation network invulnerability. By using 142 patent citation networks from the renewable energy industry, we conduct patent citation network and regression analyses of a mediating model. The results show that network centralisation plays a partly negative mediating role in the positive relationship between technology cluster coupling and innovation network invulnerability. This study enriches the antecedent study of innovation network invulnerability by expanding interactions from the individual-level to the community-level and contributes to the internal mechanisms of technology cluster coupling and network invulnerability by emphasising the critical role of network centralisation. This research aimed to understand the direct influence of a firm's alliance portfolio diversity on its product and process innovation performance and the indirect influence of the former on financial performance, mediated by innovation performance. To reach this goal, we proposed a model based on alliance portfolios and absorptive capacity theories and tested it in a sample of 806 Colombian manufacturing firms with structural equation modeling. The results supported the hypothesis that alliance portfolio diversity has a direct influence on product and process innovation and an indirect impact on financial performance. Product innovation, as expected, mediated this indirect relationship. On the other hand, process innovation did not. Another interesting finding was that, for high levels of absorptive capacity, the positive influence of diversity on innovation performance was more intense. Against the background of multifaceted societal challenges, the question of adequate future-oriented conceptualisations of education arises. Multiple stakeholders have raised demands for change and expectations of innovation in education are high. The topic turns out to be diffuse, bulky, and complex: What is innovative education? How can it be realised? These 'big questions' proved important for the participants in the inter-organisational initiative Educational Lab Carinthia. As the Lab sees itself as a regional promoter of innovation, it intends to offer new education formats and to develop innovative concepts and projects. Although the members of the Lab emotionally share the vision of 'innovative forms of education', a closer look reveals insecurities. The article describes how participatory action research (PAR) can initiate a discourse on the meanings of 'innovative education'. It reflects on both the opportunities and risks of PAR processes in these specific conditions. It explores the Lab members' experiences and provides literature-based theoretical orientation. PAR has turned out to be an approach that does not guarantee a breakthrough but strongly supports the Edu Lab's development towards a reflective education innovation system. The concept of innovation is experienced in generations, as in many other concepts. Intergenerational research, which has been the subject of scholarly inquiry for a considerable period, sheds light on this phenomenon. Despite the extensive attention given to intergenerational mindsets, only some studies have specifically examined the Z generation, who have recently entered the workforce. Notably, attitudes towards innovation vary across generations, with behaviours salient among the Y generation potentially being less relevant for the Z generation. This seems to herald an important difference. It also reveals the importance of deciphering the entire generation Z. Thus, it is paramount to investigate the attitudes and behaviours of the Z generation toward innovation in the business world. Furthermore, it is pertinent to note that career success is linked to innovation. This study focused on objective and subjective measures of career success. It examines the perception of subjective career success between Generation Z and Generation Y and the current situation of objective career success. Objective career success is the achievement of careerrelated criteria that all individuals can assess uniformly. In contrast, subjective career success refers to the individual's perception of their success in their career. To measure these constructs, questions and scales were utilized in the research. The sample for the study was composed of 419 individuals from Generation Z and 470 individuals from Generation Y. A quantitative research method was employed to analyse the data, utilizing descriptive statistics, factor analysis, correlation analysis, and independent t-test. The findings indicate that objective and subjective career success perception higher among Generation Y than Generation Z. Looking at the sub-dimensions in the findings of the research, the averages of the Y generation are higher than the Z generation in the sub-dimensions of salary and status, recognition, growth, and development. On the other hand, the average of the Z generation is significantly higher in the personnel life sub-dimension known as work-life balance. Research results and literature show little differences. This study offer valuable insights for businesses, human resources departments, and interdisciplinary researchers. The aim of this study is to propose a conceptual model for the formation of innovation strategies, while recognizing emerging strategies, in which an organization responds to spontaneous innovation opportunities. The conceptual model is analyzed empirically in 9 innovative companies in Colombia to identify the main components of the model in their innovation management processes. The results from the empirical analysis show that these companies have a significant level of development of the conceptual model's elements, highlighting the emerging actions they use as part of their strategic innovation processes. The conceptual analysis reveals that innovation strategy is researched in a deliberate way, which creates understanding gaps in the literature about emerging forms for this strategy type. It is conclude that it is necessary to further conduct in-depth research on emerging innovation strategies in order to establish a theoretical baseline that would allow improving the understanding of the formation of innovation strategies. Logistics industry is not only the link connecting economic activities, but also an important thrust to stimulate domestic demand. Under the development background of the new era, the high-quality development of logistics industry has become an indispensable force for high-quality economic development. Reasonable and effective evaluation is an important prerequisite to promote its high-quality development. Guided by the concept of high-quality development, it innovatively adds the dimension of logistics development resource cost. Based on the data of 31 provinces and cities in China from 2011 to 2019, in view of the limitations of projection pursuit, genetic algorithm and projection pursuit are organically combined, which were used to measure the high-quality development level of China's regional logistics and analyze its spatial distribution characteristics. The reliability and accuracy of the evaluation results are improved, and the spatial information nature is analyzed by spatial exploration The results showed that the most important dimensions affecting the high-quality development of the logistics industry were logistics carrying capacity and technological innovation support. During the study period, there were significant differences in the high-quality development of regional logistics. The average annual logistics industry in the three provinces of Guangdong, Shandong and Jiangsu had relatively high level of high-quality development. By contrast, the development level of the three provinces of Tibet, Qinghai and Hainan was relatively low. In general, although the high-quality development of the logistics industry was increasing year by year, showing a trend of high level in the eastern region, followed by central region, low level in the western region, the gap had not been effectively shortened. In recent years, companies are facing more and more types of risks with different levels of complexity. Inevitably this reflects also on the way how the risk is identified, evaluated and managed. One of the innovative risk management solutions is the use of artificial intelligence (AI). Artificial intelligence will create a foundation for more resilient, sustainable, adaptive, and well-prepared companies which could face environmental changes without being impacted so heavily. The purpose of the study described in this paper is to conduct empirical research to examine the progress of intelligent risk management implementation and the attitude towards it in companies from two sectors of the Bulgarian economy - services and gas. The two sectors will be compared and it will be statistically validated if there is a difference in how the companies from the gas and services sectors see the artificial intelligence and its benefits. Based on the results, at the end, a proposal for improved and innovative risk management will be made. The results of the survey and the empirical study will show what will be the future direction of the research in the field of artificial intelligence and its implementation in risk management. Large multinational IT companies are always trying to produce competitive innovation at a faster pace. Even giant IT corporations, however, are unable to produce sustainable technological innovation alone. Literature offers many alternatives to obtain external technologies, but there are few studies about acquisition strategy to obtain technology innovation. A case study was carried out in a multinational IT company, EMC, which has applied mainly the acquisition strategy to develop innovations and increase its competitive position. The company has acquired many technology-based IT companies in the U.S. and abroad, and this strategy showed effectiveness in value creation, leading them to increase their income, value and market capitalisation during this period. An important finding here is that, by combining acquisitions with increasing investments in R&D, EMC was able to leverage innovations and strengthen its competitiveness and global market presence. The EMC experience has also allowed proposing a graphical tool, showing which are the key management processes that might be considered to get successful in using the acquisition strategy to create values for the business through innovation. This study examined the practices of innovation management used by Brazilian industries. A survey was carried out with specialists that assessed 27 practices (PR) proposed by ISO 56002, considering two types of firms: small and medium-sized industries (SMI) and large industries (LI). The methodological approach included Hierarchical Cluster Analysis to identify the similarities between the specialists and define levels of specialists, as well as Fuzzy TOPSIS and frequency and sensitivity analyses to examine their responses. PR1 (analysis of internal and external issues that impact innovation management) was deemed the best practice for LIs, whereas PR10 (adequate assessment of potential partnerships) was best evaluated for SMIs. The PR27 (periodic audits to identify opportunities for improvement) received the lowest rating from both LIs and SMIs. In general, SMIs in the Brazilian context have more severe deficiencies in terms of applying innovation management practices than LIs. A broad overview of the innovation practices adopted in the Brazilian industrial scenario is provided. The study's findings may assist managers and policymakers to develop initiatives and actions to improve the capacity of Brazilian industries to innovate. The creative behavior of cultural innovation team members is the key to driving the team forward. Previous studies have relatively neglected the dynamic mechanism of positive verbal rewards on the creative behavior of cultural innovation team members. This paper, drawing on cognitive appraisal theory, focuses on the dynamic mechanism of positive verbal rewards on the creative behavior of cultural innovation team members and the moderating effect of positive affectivity. Based on the survey of 211 cultural innovation team members in Guangdong, China, this paper constructs a relationship model between positive verbal reward, creative self-efficacy, positive affectivity, and members' creative behaviors and empirically tests the model. The results of statistical data analysis show that positive verbal reward has a significant positive impact on members' creative behavior. Creative self-efficacy partially mediates between positive verbal rewards and members' creative behavior; positive affectivity moderates the positive influence of creative self-efficacy on members' creative behavior. The higher the level of positive affectivity, the stronger the positive impact of positive verbal rewards on members' creative behavior, and vice versa. The above research findings help clarify the mechanism of positive verbal rewards on the cultural innovation team members' creative behaviors in the context of Chinese organizations and provide theoretical support for cultural innovation team management practices. Current research on the impact of innovation networks focuses on the web and inter-organizational layers, with less consideration of individual behavior at the firm level. Interaction is an active action strategy that firms take when dealing with the external environment. Therefore, this study explores the mechanism of enterprise interaction on innovation development from the perspective of an innovation network. And measures enterprise interaction in three dimensions: affective interaction, resource interaction, and management interaction. The empirical results indicate that the three dimensions of enterprise interaction contribute significantly to technological innovation performance, and the realization of this role requires technological innovation capabilities (technological research and development capabilities, technological commercialization capabilities) to play a partially mediating role. The moderating effect of absorptive capacity between resource interaction, management interaction, and technological innovation capability is significant; however, the moderating effect between affective interaction and technological innovation capability is statistically insignificant. This study promotes the development of interaction theory to a certain extent, which helps enterprises build appropriate industrial chains in innovation networks and achieve rapid development.
