Nezara viridula L. (Hemiptera:Pentatomidae) is a relative a invasive species, highly poliphagous, species of solanaceous, legumes, cruciferous, malvaceous, grasses and other plants are affected. Considering that the insect which make the subject of this scientifically paper is a species detected in our country but unregistered and unlocalized as a dangerous species we want to bring to attention potential spread and adaptation to new plant species, especially legumes and ornamental plants. Observations were made in Timis county in the western part of Romania (Timis), during the years 2013 and 2014. It was taken under observation by three types of plants (tomato crop, green space and fruit tree plantation). The observations on plants have shown that N. viridula affected all four varieties of tomatoes, especially on fruits, both green and mature stage. In green space only adults and nymphs was observed on follow ornamental plants: Syringa vulgaris, Lonicera japonica, Hibiscus sp. and Magnolia liliiflora. Comparative study between Prunus persica and Prunus persica var. nucipersica made in fruit tree plantation has revealed that insect affected only the last one. N. viridula is a dangerous species for Romania with high expansion potential on new host plant and new surfaces. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The analysis of the pellets belonging to two sympatric owls (long-eared owl Asio otus and barn owl Tyto alba) from the Cefa Nature Park in the northwestern part of Romania) showed a clear predominance of small mammals, in diet of both species. A certain degree of specialization can be noted in the case of A. otus preying preferentially on Microtus arvalis. On the other hand, T. alba, consumes large quantities of common voles and constitutes only 31% of its total food source. Both species consume the occasional bird and represents less than 1% of its total prey. The standard Levins Index of the niche for T. alba (0.37) shows that the trophic niche-width is considerably larger in the case of A. otus (0.17). The barn owl subsists off of a much more diverse diet compared to the long-eared owl (16 vs 9 prey species). The aim of this study was to follow the effects of Bio-Mos, NuPro and SelPlex on the production indices of brook trout. The experiment had been carried out during August 2008 - April 2009 (250 days) at the trout farm ICAS Gilau, situated in Cluj County. Four batches were implied: a Control batch and three experimental batches (Bio-Mos 0.2 %, NuPro 2 % and SelPlex 0.03%) each of them consisting of 250 brook trout juveniles. The experiment took place in four concrete tanks, which offered the same rearing conditions (the same water quality, rearing density, feeding hours, food quantity). The experimental batches received 0.2% Bio-Mos, 0.03% SelPlex and 2% NuPro, and at the end fish reached an average weight of 238.55 g/specimen and a survival rate of 82.8% for Bio-Mos batch, 212.2 g/specimen and a survival rate of 94.4% for SelPlex batch and 225.25 g/specimen and a survival rate of 80% for the NuPro batch comparatively to the Control batch where an average weight of 204.65 g/specimen and a survival rate of 77.28% had been registered. Until recently, no invasive crayfish species have been reported in Romania. This is the first record of the cambarid species Orconectes limosus on Romanian territory; years after the countries on the upstream stretch of the Danube River reported the presence of the species on their territories. Monitoring activities in the area where the Danube enters Romania show that the extent of the invasion is currently relatively low; the species has been found on 55 of the 1073 km that comprise the Romanian sector of the Danube River. Preventing and alleviating child poverty constitute main concerns for the strategies and policies in the field of social protection and social inclusion in the European Union, and significantly reduce child poverty, as one of the core objectives of these strategies. Setting up policies of child poverty alleviation implies knowing the dimensions and characteristics of this phenomenon, the reasons behind it and conditions that favour it, firstly of those determining the low level of incomes at the disposal of many families with children. The paper comprises an analysis of the level, structure and dynamics of incomes in households with children and of the main parameters of child poverty in Romania. Thrips fed especially on flowers petals after bud break, causing losses in blossom quality. This research work covers the observations of the species composition of thrips and the periods of the occurrence of the particulars species of thrips and their numerousness. The analysis of the thrips specific diversity pointed out a taxonomic spectrum of 12 species, four of those species of thrips, Frankliniella intonsa, Taeniothrips inconsequens, Thrips fuscipennis and Thrips major var. banatica, were recorded as the most important insect pest on rose in western part of Romania. Lately, Diabrotica virgifera virgifera Le Conte adults (western corn rootworm) (Coleoptera: Chrysomelidae) extended the range of host plants and also the spreading area in Romania. Though, until recently it was associated only with corn plant (it highlighted the research in Europe) today we can say that this invasive insect, in adult stage, became oligophagous. The current state of research in the field, somewhat restrained, outlines the monitoring aspects of morphology, biology, control and less at plant atractivity. This is the main reason in addressing current topics. Also, if we want to answer the question is Diabrotica virgifera virgifera still considered a dangerous pest from crops of Romania? the answer is definitely positive. The research took place over the course of tho years of study 2011 and 2012. In our studies we used observation cages type I and II (small cages and high cages). Thus for the evaluation of trophic preferences were achieved through the determination of frequency and intensity of attacks on various plants. In the experimental covered setting is obvious attraction towards other than corn comparative with uncovered setting. By far, the preferred were plants from Cucurbitaceae and Leguminosae. According to the observations made on the leaves with the highest average attack occurred at the plants of melon, soybean and beans. The damage done by insects on flowers have highlighted orientation towards plants of sunflower, cucumber and melon. Between variants down to the various plant species in relation to the total number of leaves, flowers, leaves and flowers attacked. Actually, this species invaded the corn crops in western, southern counties, the Nordic and central Romania and damaged few crops.
