State-of-the art design methods for a stacker crane rail/wheel system use unrealistic load collectives. Therefore, the results of these design methods are often inaccurate. The BS EN 13001-3-3 introduces a more realistic load collective, called the contact force spectrum factor. However, in practice the contact force spectrum factor is difficult to compute, since all contact forces over the considered stacker crane's life cycle need to be known. One way to overcome this obstacle is to run a simulation. However, this approach is computationally expensive. Therefore, this paper introduces machine learning models for predicting the contact force spectrum factor. For data generation a simulation model is used. The presented machine learning models are compared to the standard approach for computing load collectives. In comparison to this standard approach the machine learning models' predictions are significantly more accurate. The presented results make it possible to predict realistic load collectives for the rail/wheel system of stacker cranes. Hence, with this paper's results the efficient application of the BS EN 13001-3-3 for stacker cranes becomes possible.

Using multimedia technology and database technology to build an open art design teaching information system. In order to better serve the education, teaching and educational administration of art design specialty, and promote the informationization process of school teaching.

Therefore, this paper explores the impact of the digital era on the FT animation art, analyzes the future development direction of the FT animation art, and puts forward the innovative creation mode of the FT animation art in the digital era, so as to provide reference and reference for the digitization of the FT animation art.

The Makecourse-Art is a makerspace designed to promote undergraduate students’ aesthetic design skills as well as functional design skills using an interdisciplinary team approach at the University of South Florida. To overcome the unique challenges of the Makecourse (earlier version) and to maximize students’ design efforts working on an engineering project in the classroom, the Makecourse-Art incorporated a flipped classroom model utilizing two instructional methods with corresponding activities. First, the explicit form of instruction is delivered through asynchronous video lectures/tutorials, including topics such as Arduino programming, CAD modeling with the Autodesk Maya, Mudbox, and coding skills. Second, interactive team-based classroom activities are offered to students based on student-centered learning theories such as peer-assisted collaborative learning and problem-based learning. In this paper, we present the design case of the Makecourse-Art with detailed descriptions of the components, and explain the key design decisions, obstacles during the design process, and how the challenges were resolved. In addition, we provide step-by-step examples of students’ engineering design experiences with visual images.

Internet of Things (IoT) allows interactive learning of students by inspiring their innovation everywhere on the campus. This paper proposes CampusTalk that provides convenient access to cyber and physical devices through the web technology. In this way, the campus applications can be accessed anywhere in the world through any computing device with a display and a browser without installing any mobile app. CampusTalk unifies the concepts of automatic creation of “mirror device features”(simulated counterpart) and talkPal device features, which are nicely demonstrated through several applications on campus. The core application of CampusTalk is SmartPhoneTalk that allows other applications to be accessed by students through their smartphones without installing any mobile apps. We describe three CampusTalk applications, including MusicTalk, PingPongTalk, and SkeletonTalk, to demonstrate cyber and physical interaction with SmartPhoneTalk. After the IoT devices of these applications have been developed and are accommodated in CampusTalk, the students can use the CampusTalk GUI to connect them with various combinations for innovative applications without extra programming effort.

The main content of this paper is the curriculum design and development of Moodle platform and its environment. It also provides a detailed description of applying the various modules and resources of Moodle platform. The research explores the construction of the open source network teaching platform, constructs an example of online learning platform, and establishes a platform-based network course "The Basis of Art Design", according to the principles of online curriculum design and the requirements of teachers' educational technology literacy. Finally, the online learning platform is applied to teaching, and a questionnaire survey is conducted among students, aiming at the reflected questions. In the design of the system, based on the needs of specific courses, the functional modules of Moodle platform are redeveloped. To meet the specific curriculum requirements of the system, we also improve the application of the system in practical teaching activities, and complete the effective design of the system.

In this paper, we propose the landscape architecture system based on mobile edge streaming media data processing. In the system, video surveillance system is mainly used to collect data, and the edge computing is the further processing of the inner connections. Especially, the stram data is analysed based on the machine learning models and the connection with the design is analysed. The experimental results prove robustness of the methodology.
