Research on the Application of Digital Engraving Software in the Teaching of Digital Media Art Design Course

The education of digital media art design, with the coming of network media, is significantly influenced by the idea of “culture + art + technology”, which is requiring constant innovations in teaching contents and forms. Taking the course of Three-Dimensional Modeling as the study target, the teaching mode featuring simplex and mutually independent theory and practice education in traditional classes is broken. The digital engraving software named Zbrush is imported into the overall teaching process so that the theory explanation is paired with software practice verification operation. During the practice teaching, software practices are taken as the priority, in order to inspire students' creative ideas and thoughts on modeling design and highlight the advantages in expertise and technicality of digital media art design. The integration of digital engraving techniques and classroom education is the innovative practice of teaching mode and method in colleges and universities under the background of mobile internet.
