ObjectiveTo investigate the prevalence and influencing factors of overweight， obesity and central obesity among elderly residents in Xuhui District， and to analyze the epidemiological status of central obesity in elderly people with different body mass indexes.MethodsThe third round of health status and health service utilization monitoring data in Xuhui District was used. The information collected from questionnaire survey and physical examination were analyzed. SPSS 20.0 software was used for χ2 test， trend χ2 test and multinominal logistic regression analysis.Results5 096 survey subjects were included. The prevalence of overweight， general obesity， and central obesity in the residents aged 60 and above in Xuhui District were 34.3%， 6.5%， and 29.2%， respectively. There was gender difference in the rates of overweight， obesity， and central obesity among the residents. The overweight and central obesity rates in males were higher than those in females， while the obesity rate was lower than that in females （P

ObjectiveTo investigate the high-risk detection rate and aggregation of cardiovascular diseases（CVD） in 8 districts of Shanghai and influencing factors， and to provide scientific references for prevention and control of CVD.MethodsBased on the Cardiovascular Disease Screening and Management Program in Shanghai from 2016 to 2021， 104 685 participants aged 35 to 75 in 8 districts of Shanghai were selected for analysis. χ2 test and multivariate logistic regression were used for statistical analysis of the influencing factors of CVD and aggregation of CVD.ResultsThe proportion of high-risk CVD individuals in the population was 19.17%， including the high-risk individuals with hypertension （8.65%）， dyslipidemia （6.33%）， CVD history （5.58%）， and WHO assessed risk ≥20% types （2.69%）， respectively. Old age， overweight and obesity， central obesity， smoking， drinking， farmers， unmarried， and low family income were the risk factors of CVD， while high education level was the protective factor. In the participants， 16 323 people （81.34%） were classified as CVD high-risk groups； The number of aggregation of 1， 2 and ≥3 high risk types of CVD were 16 323（81.34%）， 3 236（16.13%）， 509（2.54%）， respectively. Old age， low education level， low annual family income， farmers， unmarried， smoking， drinking， overweight， obesity and central obesity were associated with the risk of aggregation of high risk types of CVD， and the correlation strength increased with the increase of aggregation types.ConclusionThe prevention and control of CVD in Shanghai should focus on the hypertension， elderly， overweight， obesity， central obesity， smoking， drinking， low educated， low family income， farmers and unmarried people， and targeted intervention measures should be taken to reduce the risk of CVD among residents.

Exploring the use of red cultural design in tourism creative design is to innovate creative tourism products. In this paper, the mathematical principle of support vector machine is introduced in detail in big data, and the optimal classification discriminant function is sought using the Lagrange multiplier method. The principle of the particle swarm optimization algorithm is also explained, and the steps and flow chart of the particle swarm optimization algorithm is given. The SVM algorithm is optimized according to the particle swarm optimization algorithm, and the PSO-SVM model is constructed. Finally, the PSO-SVM model is used for index mining of the application of red tourism cultural and creative design, which is analyzed and explained from two aspects of design elements and design performance, respectively.

The purpose of this study is to systematically analyze the development trend, research hotspots, and future development direction on the treatment of neuropathic pain (NP) with spinal cord stimulation through bibliometric method. We extracted the literature related to the treatment of NP with spinal cord stimulation from January 2004 to December 2023 from the Web of Science database. As a result, a total of 264 articles were retrieved. By analyzing the annual published articles, authors, countries, institutions, journals, co-cited literature, and keywords, we found that the count of publication in this field has been experiencing an overall growth, and the publications within the past 5 years accounted for 42% of the total output. Experts from the United States and the UK have made significant contributions in this field and established a stable collaborative team, initially establishing an international cooperation network. Pain is the frequently cited journal in this field. The study on spinal cord stimulation therapy for NP especially the study on spinal cord stimulation therapy for back surgery failure syndrome (FBSS) and its potential mechanisms are the research hotspots in this field, while the study on novel paradigms such as high-frequency spinal cord stimulation and spinal cord burst stimulation represents the future development directions. In short, spinal cord stimulation has been an effective treatment method for NP. The novel paradigms of spinal cord stimulation are the key point of future research in this field. Anaplastic thyroid carcinoma (ATC) is the most advanced and aggressive thyroid cancer, and poorly differentiated thyroid carcinoma (PDTC) lacks anaplastic histology but has lost architectural and cytologic differentiation. Only a few studies have focused on the genetic relationship between the two advanced carcinomas and coexisting differentiated thyroid carcinomas (DTCs). In the present study, we investigated clinicopathologic features and genetic profiles in 57 ATC and PDTC samples, among which 33 cases had concomitant DTC components or DTC history. We performed immunohistochemistry for BRAF V600E, p53, and PD‐L1 expression, Sanger sequencing for TERT promoter and RAS mutations, and fluorescence in situ hybridization for ALK and RET rearrangements. We found that ATCs and PDTCs shared similar gene alterations to their coexisting DTCs, and most DTCs were aggressive subtypes harboring frequent TERT promoter mutations. A significantly higher proportion of ATCs expressed p53 and PD‐L1, and a lower proportion expressed PAX‐8 and TTF‐1, than the coexisting DTCs. Background: Many gaps remain in our understanding of the immune and molecular characteristics that underlie activated phosphoinositide 3‐kinase delta syndrome (APDS). Methods: We performed RNA sequencing of peripheral blood leukocytes obtained from a child with APDS and his healthy parents and deconvoluted bulk transcriptional data to assess immune cell status. Results: Pathway enrichment analysis suggested signaling pathways enriched in virus infection as well as the PI3K, mitogen‐activated protein kinase (MAPK), natural killer cell‐mediated cytotoxicity, and nucleotide‐binding oligomerization domain (NOD)‐like receptor signaling pathways. The proportion of B cells memory, T cells CD4 memory resting and dendritic cells activated were reduced, whereas B cells naïve, T cells CD8, NK cells resting, monocytes and macrophages M2 were increased in the child. Top 10 hub genes were screened and showed moderate to strong relatedness with immune cell proportions. Conclusion: Deconvolution of bulk RNA sequencing to assess immune cells status can provide further insight into the alterations in immunological features underlying APDS and other rare diseases. Change detection (CD) is a challenging task considering land surface cover changes. Recently, deep learning has been introduced into CD. However, these methods suffer from shortcomings such as insufficient utilization of shallow features and inadequate aggregation of semantic context, which result in pseudo changes and poor integrity of change objects. To address this, an enhanced shallow feature difference and semantic context network (ESDSCNet) is proposed in this study for remote sensing CD. It uses HRNet to extract multi-scale features from bi-temporal images to obtain shallow and deep features. To fully exploit the shallow features, they are input into the difference statistical texture learning (DSTL) module to extract more discriminative features. Subsequently, the features enhanced by DSTL are fed into the change object contextual representation (COCR) module along with the deep difference features extracted by HRNet to characterize the contextual information of the change object. To verify the performance of ESDSCNet in different scenes, this paper takes building change detection as a case and conducts experiments based on three datasets. The experimental results reveal that ESDSCNet outperforms six other advanced methods, regardless of the intersection over union or the harmonic mean of precision rate and recall rate, which further confirms the effectiveness of the proposed network. In addition, another speciality of this paper is that ESDSCNet can identify not only 'Where has changed' but also 'What has changed what', so it has potential application in semantic change detection besides building change detection. Background: Chondroblastoma is a primary bone tumor typically arising from the intramedullary space of the epiphysis or epimetaphysis. A non-epiphyseal chondroblastoma is uncommon. Case report: An 11-year-old girl presented with an eccentric cortical osteolytic lesion in the distal femur metaphysis. The typical morphology, diffuse H3.3 K36M immunohistochemical expression and H3F3B point mutation (c. 110A > T) unequivocally supported the diagnosis of chondroblastoma. Discussion: We described a non-epiphyseal cortical-based chondroblastoma involving the distal femur harboring the typical H3F3B mutation. Non-epiphyseal chondroblastoma may harbor the H3F3B mutation. Background: Symptom networks can provide empirical evidence for the development of personalized and precise symptom management strategies. However, few studies have explored the symptom networks of multidimensional symptom experiences in cancer survivors. The objectives of this study were to generate symptom networks of multidimensional symptom experiences in cancer survivors and explore the centrality indices and density in these symptom networks Methods: Data from 1065 cancer survivors were obtained from the Shanghai CANcer Survivor (SCANS) Report. The MD Anderson Symptom Inventory was used to assess the prevalence and severity of 13 cancer‐related symptoms. We constructed contemporaneous networks with all 13 symptoms after controlling for covariates. Results: Distress (rs = 9.18, rc = 0.06), sadness (rs = 9.05, rc = 0.06), and lack of appetite (rs = 9.04, rc = 0.06) had the largest values for strength and closeness. The density of the "less than 5 years" network was significantly different from that of the "5–10 years" and "over 10 years" networks (p < 0.001). We found that while fatigue was the most severe symptom in cancer survivorship, the centrality of fatigue was lower than that of the majority of other symptoms. Conclusion: Our study demonstrates the need for the assessment of centrality indices and network density as an essential component of cancer care, especially for survivors with <5 years of survivorship. Future studies are warranted to develop dynamic symptom networks and trajectories of centrality indices in longitudinal data to explore causality among symptoms and markers of interventions. Background: X‐linked cone‐rod dystrophy (CORDX) is one form of inherited retinal disorders (IRDs) characterized by progressive dysfunction of photoreceptor. Three types of CORDX were reported and CACNA1F gene defect can cause CORDX3. The aim of this study was to investigate the pathogenic variant in a Chinese family with IRD. Methods: The two affected subjects including the proband and his elder sister underwent ophthalmic examinations. Whole exome sequencing (WES) was performed in the proband at first, then co‐segregation analysis was performed in the family by Sanger sequencing. Minigene approach was used to verify the effect of the mutation on the splicing of CACNA1F. X‐chromosomal inactivation assay was performed to evaluate the inactivation patterns of the female carriers. Results: The ophthalmic examination results of the proband fit the clinical description of CORDX3, and the female patient presented with only mild symptoms due to mildly skewed X‐chromosomal inactivation (ratio 67: 33). Molecular genetic testing identified a novel splice‐site mutation c.3847‐2A > G in CACNA1F (NM_005183.4) gene in the patients, which inherited from their asymptomatic mother. Minigene approach confirmed that c.3847‐2A > G could affect the splicing of CACNA1F. Conclusion: Our study identified a novel splice‐site mutation in the CACNA1F gene, which expanded the mutational spectrum of CACNA1F‐releated diseases and demonstrated the importance of combining clinical and genetic testing in the diagnosis of IRDs. Comprehensively understanding the factors influencing crime is a prerequisite for preventing and combating crime. Although some studies have investigated the relationship between environmental factors and property crime, the interaction between factors was not fully considered in these studies, and the explanation of complex factors may be insufficient. This paper explored the influence of environmental factors on property crime using factor regression and factor interaction based on data from the central city of Lanzhou, China. Our findings showed that: (1) The distribution of crime cases showed the pattern of a local multi-center. Shop density, hotel density, entertainment density and house price were the four dominant environmental drivers of property crime; (2) The relationship between the light intensity and property crime had different correlation explanations in temporal projection and spatial projection. There was a normal distribution curve between the number of property crimes and the Price-to-Earnings Ratio (PE Ratio) of the community house price; and (3) The results of the factor interaction indicated that the effect of all factors on crime showed a two-factor enhancement. As an important catalyst, shop density had the strongest interaction with other factors. Shop density gradient influenced the degree of interpretation of spatial heterogeneity of property crime. In recent years, people's opinions have shifted with the continuous development and growth of cities. The category of historical heritage is increasingly being shifted from the city's star fire to the backdrop color of the entire city. However, some cities are experiencing issues such as aging, regeneration, and stagnation. With the merging of sustainable development ideas with urban renewal techniques, sustainable urban renewal has developed as a new area of research. Data mining and analytics have played a significant role in extracting knowledge and decision-making in the revitalization of historic districts during the last decade. Machine learning, as a computational engine for learning analytics, is a fundamental technique for extracting information, data pattern detection, and prediction. From the perspective of machine learning, this study investigates the historical block update approach, which is utilized in feature space and culture at the same time. Furthermore, it investigates the development of countermeasures for injecting new energy into the historical block by using the functions of space and scale to search for the block transformation and the combination of natural and cultural landscapes. In addition, in order to interact with visitors and residents and realize the renewal of old blocks, in this research work, multifunctional culture is grafted into the historical block and buried underground, so that their life can be awakened. A four‐particle electrophoretic display (EPD), Spectra™ 3100, was released in 2021. It targets electronic shelf label applications and signage applications by providing four primary optical states of black, white, red, and yellow, as well as dithering capability to show graphic images. Specially engineered black, white, red, and yellow particles in the electrophoretic ink respond to different electric fields to show pigment intrinsic colors on the display. The imaging film produced from this technology can reach a typical contrast ratio of 30:1 while maintaining a maximum driving voltage of ±15 V. The vibrant red and yellow colors are ideal for highlighting. Consistent optical performances are achieved for all four optical states across the operating temperature range of 0°C to 40°C for a typical indoor environment. The electrophoretic ink is coated and sealed in a thin‐film Microcup® structure using an additive and high yield roll‐to‐roll manufacturing process to produce the imaging film. Objectives: To investigate the roles that Toll-like receptors (TLRs) play in lung inflammation mediated by Mycoplasma pneumoniae (MP). Methods: The changes in TLRs and tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF-α) in peripheral blood of children with M. pneumoniae pneumonia (MPP) were monitored, and the interactions of signaling molecules regulating TNF-α release in A549 cells and neutrophils after M. pneumoniae stimulation were investigated. In TLR2 knockout (TLR2-/-) mice, the levels of TNF-α in bronchial alveolar lavage fluid (BALF) and peripheral blood after mycoplasma infection and the pathological changes in the lung tissue of mice were detected. Results: TNF-α levels in peripheral blood of children with MPP were higher than those in non-infected children, and children with refractory MPP had the highest levels of TNF-α and TLR2. TNF-α secretion and TLR2, myeloid differentiation primary response 88 (MyD88) and phospho-p65(p-p65) levels were increased in stimulated cells. TNF-α secretion was suppressed upon siRNA-mediated TLR2 silencing. Pharmacological inhibition of nuclear factor-kappa B (NF-κB) and MyD88 effectively reduced TNF-α expression. Compared with wild-type mice, the TNF-α in serum and BALF decreased, and lung pro-inflammatory response was partially suppressed in TLR2-/- mice. Conclusion: We concluded that TLR2 regulates M. pneumoniae -mediated lung inflammation and TNF-α release through the TLR2-MyD88-NF-κB signaling pathway. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The aim of multiprojector interreflection compensation is to modify input images to remove complex physical stray-light effects (interreflection) from a multiprojector immersive system. This is an important but often ignored problem, which can lead to degradation of a projection image. Traditional methods usually address this problem by computing a matrix inversion. These traditional methods often ignore issue of the clarity of the generated images. In this paper, we describe a method for learning the inversion using a deep convolutional neural network (CNN), named Superresolution Compensation Net (SRCN). SRCN consists of four convolution layers to learn interactions of global light, six convolution layers, and two transposed convolution layers to extract multilevel features and generate compensation images. We also used a subpixel convolution layer to increase the resolution. To make compensation images more consistent with human visual perception, we used a perceptual loss, which compares the differences between feature maps on the VGG16 network. We implemented an immersive projector-camera display prototype (Pro-Cam) and calculated the quality index of the compensation images and the projection results. Results demonstrate that melting point and nuclear magnetic resonance spectral analyses can be employed to characterize anion nucleophilicity in iodonium salts containing different anions.

Research shows that direct photolysis of the iodonium salts, in the presence of 1-methoxynaphthalene, produce three phenylated methoxynaphthalene isomers. Data indicate that the products are radical coupling products derived from the phenyl radical and 1-methoxynaphthalene cation radical.

This survey aimed to describe the health-related quality of life (HRQoL) and to explore the relationship between chronic diseases and HRQoL among urban residents in Shanghai, China. A cross-sectional study of 9 426 adults was conducted in Xuhui District of Shanghai, China in 2015. The EuroQol five-dimension three-level (EQ-5D-3 L) was used to measure HRQoL. The average age of subjects was 55.6 ± 17.4 years and 53% were female. Their mean values of utility and visual analogue scale (VAS) were 0.974 ± 0.099 and 80.00 ± 12.36, respectively, which were above the Chinese norm values. Women had lower scores compared with men. The utility value decreased with age, which accelerated after the age of 55 years. Chronic conditions including diabetes, tumor, cardiovascular disease, and respiratory disease, were significantly related to HRQoL, and the reported proportions of problems in the five dimensions increased with the number of chronic diseases (p < 0.05). Chronic diseases except for respiratory disease had a negative effect on HRQoL utility value and VAS score after the adjustment for covariates (p < 0.05). Chronic diseases had a negative impact on both EQ-5D-3 L utility and VAS scores, although the health-related quality of life for the study was above the national average. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The secretory function of airway epithelial cells is important in the pathogenesis of Mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia (MPP). To investigate the regulatory function of NKILA (nuclear factor-κB (NF-κB) interacting long noncoding RNA (lncRNA)) in MPP, we first detected NKILA as well as the concentration of interleukin 8 (IL-8) and tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) in bronchoalveolar lavage fluid of children with MPP. Then, NKILA was knocked down in epithelial cells to investigate its effect on their secretory function. The results suggested that NKILA was downregulated in children with MPP, while IL-8 and TNF-α levels increased. Knockdown of NKILA in vitro promoted the inflammatory effects of Mycoplasma pneumoniae (MP) in epithelial A549 and BEAS-2B cells. Knockdown of NKILA promoted inhibitor of κBα (IκBα) phosphorylation and degradation, and NF-κB p65 nuclear translocation. Furthermore, RNA immunoprecipitation showed that NKILA could physically bind to IκBα in MP-treated A549 cells. Collectively, our data demonstrated that attenuation of NKILA enhances the effects of MP-stimulated secretory functions of epithelial cells via regulation of NF-κB signaling. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Remote sensing mapping is an important research direction in the development of geographic surveying and mapping. In order to successfully implement the project of Mapping Western China (MWC), a technical mapping system has been established. In this project, many problems have been solved through technological innovation, such as block adjustment with scarce control points, large-scale aerial/satellite image mapping, and intelligent interpretation of multi-source images. Several softwares were developed, e.g. PixelGrid for aerial/satellite image mapping in a large area, FeatureStation for the integration of multi-source data in the complex terrain areas, and an airborne multi-band and multi-polarization interferometric data acquisition system for SAR mapping. For the first time, full coverage of 1: 50,000 topographic data of China's land territory has been produced, which means the geospatial framework of digital China is basically completed. With the implementation of other key national plans and projects (i.e. national geographic conditions monitoring and national remote sensing mapping), the focus has changed from MWC to national dynamic mapping. Accordingly, a dynamic mapping system is established. The data acquisition capability has developed from a single source to multiple sources and multiple modalities. The mapping capability has developed into dynamic mapping, and the capability for database update shows the characteristics of collaboration. The national geographic condition monitoring creates a multi-scale index system for statistical analysis for various needs. A multi-level and multi-dimensional technical system for statistical computing and decision-making service is developed for the transformation from dynamic monitoring to information service. In this paper, we give a brief introduction about the recent development of remote sensing mapping in China with respect to data acquisition, map production, and information service. The purpose of this paper is to motivate the establishment of theory and method for remote sensing mapping, technical and equipment in the smart mapping era, to improve the capability of perceiving, analyzing, mining, and applying geographic data, and to promote the intelligent development of geographic surveying and mapping. Tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-α) plays an important pathogenic role in cardiac hypertrophy and heart failure (HF); however, anti-TNF is paradoxically negative in clinical trials and even worsens HF, indicating a possible protective role of TNF-α in HF. TNF-α exists in transmembrane (tmTNF-α) and soluble (sTNF-α) forms. Herein, we found that TNF receptor 1 (TNFR1) knockout (KO) or knockdown (KD) by short hairpin RNA or small interfering RNA (siRNA) significantly alleviated cardiac hypertrophy, heart dysfunction, fibrosis, and inflammation with increased tmTNF-α expression, whereas TNFR2 KO or KD exacerbated the pathological phenomena with increased sTNF-α secretion in transverse aortic constriction (TAC)- and isoproterenol (ISO)-induced cardiac hypertrophy in vivo and in vitro, respectively, indicating the beneficial effects of TNFR2 associated with tmTNF-α. Suppressing TNF-α converting enzyme by TNF-α Protease Inhibitor-1 (TAPI-1) to increase endogenous tmTNF-α expression significantly alleviated TAC-induced cardiac hypertrophy. Importantly, direct addition of exogenous tmTNF-α into cardiomyocytes in vitro significantly reduced ISO-induced cardiac hypertrophy and transcription of the pro-inflammatory cytokines and induced proliferation. The beneficial effects of tmTNF-α were completely blocked by TNFR2 KD in H9C2 cells and TNFR2 KO in primary myocardial cells. Furthermore, we demonstrated that tmTNF-α displayed antihypertrophic and anti-inflammatory effects by activating the AKT pathway and inhibiting the nuclear factor (NF)-κB pathway via TNFR2. Our data suggest that tmTNF-α exerts cardioprotective effects via TNFR2. Specific targeting of tmTNF-α processing, rather than anti-TNF therapy, may be more useful for the treatment of hypertrophy and HF. In contrast to detrimental effects of soluble tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-α) via TNFR1, this study shows that transmembrane TNF-α protects the heart by suppressing pressure overload-induced cardiac hypertrophy and inflammation via TNFR2. Background. Epithelial ovarian cancer (EOC) is a heterogeneous disease, which has been recently classified into four molecular subtypes, of which the mesenchymal subtype exhibited the worst prognosis. We aimed to identify a microRNA- (miRNA-) based signature by incorporating the molecular modalities involved in the mesenchymal subtype for risk stratification, which would allow the identification of patients who might benefit from more rigorous treatments. Method. We characterized the regulatory mechanisms underlying the mesenchymal subtype using network analyses integrating gene and miRNA expression profiles from The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) cohort to identify a miRNA signature for prognosis prediction. Results. We identified four miRNAs as the master regulators of the mesenchymal subtype and developed a risk score model. The 4-miRNA signature significantly predicted overall survival (OS) and progression-free survival (PFS) in discovery (p=0.004 and p=0.04) and two independent public datasets (GSE73582: OS, HR: 2.26 (1.26-4.05), p=0.005, PFS, HR: 2.03 (1.34-3.09), p<0.001; GSE25204: OS, HR: 3.07 (1.73-5.46), p<0.001, PFS, HR: 2.59 (1.72-3.88), p<0.001). Moreover, in multivariate analyses, the miRNA signature maintained as an independent prognostic predictor and achieved superior efficiency compared to the currently used clinical factors. Conclusions. In conclusion, our network analysis identified a 4-miRNA signature which has prognostic value superior to currently reported clinical covariates.
