Handwritten signatures are widely used for identity authorization. However, verifying handwritten signatures is cumbersome in practice due to the dependency on extra drawing tools such as a digitizer, and because the false acceptance of a forged signature can cause damage to property. Therefore, exploring a way to balance the security and user experiment of handwritten signatures is critical. In this paper, we propose a handheld signature verification scheme called SilentSign, which leverages acoustic sensors (i.e., microphone and speaker) in mobile devices. Compared to the previous online signature verification system, it provides handy and safe paper-based signature verification services. The prime notion is to utilize the acoustic signals that are bounced back via a pen tip to depict a user's signing pattern. We designed the signal modulation stratagem carefully to guarantee high performance, developed a distance measurement algorithm based on phase shift, and trained a verification model. In comparison with the traditional signature verification scheme, SilentSign allows users to sign more conveniently as well as invisibly. To evaluate SilentSign in various settings, we conducted comprehensive experiments with 35 participants. Our results reveal that SilentSign can attain 98.2 % AUC and 1.25 % EER. It is challenging to design complex structures and calculate their dimensions only on the basis of theory. This issue was resolved efficiently by the FEM. Using the applicable test, the mechanical properties of the materials used in the damper are estimated, effectively guiding the design of the device and boosting its vibration-reducing performance. A large-load unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) airborne radar is the subject of this research article. According to particular use case, vibration dampers for the radar-mounting platform are designed using passive vibration isolation technology to reduce aircraft vibration transmission to the radar. Earlier research confirmed the vibration-isolating efficacy of the T-type rubber isolator, which can greatly improve the operational conditions of the airborne radar. In contrast, earlier studies relied more on experimental validation and did not use numerical simulations. This research's primary objective is the development of a T-type rubber isolator, whose vibration reduction performance is proven using FEM and experiments. The nature of construction and formulation of the multi-objective functions in the flexible job shop (FJS) provides great insights about the study of the technique and the mechanism in scheduling helping to prioritize efforts for optimizing the manufacturing execution performance, which draw the focus of the researchers at home and abroad. From the perspective of the model, the solution method and the objective function, this paper reviews and analyzes the related academic papers and conferences articles during past few years. As a result, the construction forms of the multi-objective function and the scheduling scenarios show strongly positive correlation with the Makespan, the delivery tardiness, the energy consumption or the cost. Consequently, facing with the characteristic in a general way, the detailed construction analysis on the function for the flexible job shop scheduling problem (FJSP) is critical reviewed, and a total 6 types with 49 kinds classification are discussed. Obviously, the main goals are to summarize, analyze, discuss, and synthesize the existing achievements, the current research status, and the ongoing studies on the FJSP functions construction, and additionally to give useful insight into future research. Combined with the development trend of the intelligent manufacturing and the operations research, arguing for the formulation of the multi-obj. function, this review is expected to contribute to the future research of FJSP. Hörmander's propagation of singularities theorem does not fully describe the propagation of singularities in subelliptic wave equations, due to the existence of doubly characteristic points. In the present work, building upon a visionary conference paper by Melrose (in: Hyperbolic equations and related topics, Academic Press, pp 181–192, 1986), we prove that singularities of subelliptic wave equations only propagate along null-bicharacteristics and abnormal extremals, which are well-known curves in optimal control theory. As a consequence, we characterize the singular support of subelliptic wave kernels outside the diagonal. Librarians within the Engineering Libraries Division (ELD) annually publish conference papers for the American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE). The existing ASEE rubric was not sufficient for our members, so we developed a new rubric as a charged committee for this task. We briefly discuss the sparse literature in this area, focusing on the use of rubrics and the rationale behind them. Due to this lack of literature, our committee primarily utilized additional sources such as rubrics found from other professional organizations in STEM and library fields. Our rubric is designed to encourage substantive feedback and growth of authors during the process, while clarifying the expectations for submissions. This rubric consists of overall guidance and specific needs, with flexibility for the different research methods and applications expected (i.e. work-in-progress/completed research, quantitative/qualitative, etc.). We implemented this rubric successfully for the 2021 conference cycle, but will further refine it as needed, based on feedback following future conferences. The pathophysiology of chronic rhinosinusitis (CRS) is multifactorial and not entirely clear. The objective of the review was to examine the current state of knowledge concerning the role of exosomes in CRS. For this systematic review, we searched PubMed/MEDLINE, Scopus, CENTRAL, and Web of Science databases for studies published until 7 August 2022. Only original research articles describing studies published in English were included. Reviews, book chapters, case studies, conference papers, and opinions were excluded. The quality of the evidence was assessed with the modified Office and Health Assessment and Translation (OHAT) Risk of Bias Rating Tool for Human and Animal Studies. Of 250 records identified, 17 were eligible, all of which had a low to moderate risk of overall bias. Presented findings indicate that exosomal biomarkers, including proteins and microRNA, act as promising biomarkers in the diagnostics and prognosis of CRS patients and, in addition, may contribute to finding novel therapeutic targets. Exosomes reflecting tissue proteomes are excellent, highly available material for studying proteomic alterations noninvasively. Biodiesel can be produced from vegetable oils, animal fats, frying oils, and from microorganism-synthesized oils. These sources render biodiesel an easily biodegradable fuel. The aim of this work was to perform an advanced bibliometric analysis of primary studies relating to biodiesel production worldwide by identifying the key countries and regions that have shown a strong engagement in this area, and by understanding the dynamics of their collaboration and research outputs. Additionally, an assessment of the main primary feedstocks employed in this research was carried out, along with an analysis of the current and future trends that are expected to define new paths and methodologies to be used in the manufacture of biodegradable and renewable fuels. A total of 4586 academic outputs were selected, including peer-reviewed research articles, conference papers, and literature reviews related to biodiesel production, in the time period spanning from 2010 to 2021. Articles that focused on feedstocks for the production of biodiesel were also included, with a search that returned 330 papers. Lastly, 60 articles relating to biodiesel production via sewage were specifically included to allow for an analysis of this source as a promising feedstock in the future of the biofuel market. Via the geocoding and the document analyses performed, we concluded that China, Malaysia, and India are the largest writers of articles in this area, revealing a great interest in biofuels in Asia. Additionally, it was noted that environmental concerns have caused authors to conduct research on feedstocks that can address the sustainability challenges in the production of biodiesel. Recent advances in non-volatile main memory (NVM) technology have spurred research on algorithms that are resilient to intermittent failures that cause processes to crash and subsequently restart. In this paper we present a Recoverable Mutual Exclusion (RME) algorithm that supports abortability. Our algorithm guarantees FCFS and a strong liveness property: processes do not starve even in runs consisting of infinitely many crashes, provided that a process crashes at most a finite number of times in each of its attempts. On DSM and Relaxed-CC multiprocessors, a process incurs O (min (k , log n)) RMRs in a passage and O (f + min (k , log n)) RMRs in an attempt, where n is the number of processes that the algorithm is designed for, k is the point contention of the passage or the attempt, and f is the number of times that p crashes during the attempt. On a Strict CC multiprocessor, the passage and attempt complexities are O(n) and O (f + n) , respectively. Our algorithm uses only the read, write, and CAS operations, which are commonly supported by multiprocessors. Attiya, Hendler, and Woelfel proved that, with any mutual exclusion algorithm, a process incurs at least Ω (log n) RMRs in a passage, if the algorithm uses only the read, write, and CAS operations (in: Proc. of the Fortieth ACM Symposium on Theory of Computing, New York, NY, USA, 2008). This lower bound implies that the worst-case RMR complexity of our algorithm is optimal for the DSM and Relaxed CC multiprocessors. A Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB) is a security enforcement point or cloud-based software that is placed between cloud service users and cloud applications of cloud computing (CC) which is used to run the dimensionality, heterogeneity, and ambiguity correlated with cloud services. They permit the organization to amplify the reach of their security approaches past their claim framework to third-party computer programs and storage. In contrast to other systematic literature reviews (SLR), this one is directed at the client setting. To identify and evaluate methods to understand CASB, the SLR discusses the literature, citing a comprehension of the state-of-the-art and innovative characterization to describe. An SLR was performed to compile CASB related experiments and analyze how CASBs are designed and formed. Particle swarm optimization algorithms (PSOA) is a metaheuristic algorithm used to optimize computational problems using candidate solutions or particles based on selected quality measures. Despite the extensive research published, studies that critically examine its recent scientific developments and research impact are lacking. Therefore, the publication trends and research landscape on PSOA research were examined. The Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) and bibliometric analysis techniques were applied to identify and analyze the published documents indexed in Scopus from 2001 to 2021. The published documents on PSOA increased from 8 to 1,717 (21,362.50%) due to the growing applications of PSOA in solving computational problems. "Conference papers" is the most common document type, whereas the most prolific researcher on PSOA is Andries P. Engelbrecht (South Africa). The most active affiliation (Ministry of Education) and funding organization (National Natural Science Foundation) are based in China. The research landscape on PSOA revealed high levels of publications, citations, and collaborations among the top authors, institutions, and countries worldwide. Keywords co-occurrence analysis revealed that "particle swarm optimization (PSO)" occurred more frequently than others. The findings of the study could provide researchers and policymakers with insights into the prospects and challenges of PSOA research relative to similar algorithms in the literature. We try to assess the validity of assumptions taken when deriving drift velocity. We give simple formulas for characteristics of the spatiotemporal correlation function of the observed diffraction pattern for the frozen flow and the more general Briggs model. Using Low-Frequency Array (LOFAR) Cassiopeia intensity observation, we compare the experimental velocity scaling factor with a theoretical one to show that both models do not follow observations. We also give a qualitative comparison of our drift velocity estimates with SuperDARN convection maps. Purpose: The conditions that domain analysis becomes an academic school of information science (IS) are mature. Domain analysis is one of the most important foundations of IS. The purpose of this paper is to analyze and discuss metatheoretical and theoretical issues in the domain analytic paradigm in IS. Design/methodology/approach: This paper conducts a systematic review of representative publications of domain analysis. The analysis considered degree theses, journal articles, book chapters, conference papers and other materials. Findings: Domain analysis maintains that community is the new focus of IS research. Although domain analysis centers on the domain and community, theoretical concerns on the social and individual dimensions of IS are inherent in it by its using sociology as its important approach and socio-cognitive viewpoint. For these reasons domain analysis can integrate social–community–individual levels of IS discipline as a whole. The role of subject knowledge in IS is discussed from the perspective of domain analysis. Realistic pragmatism that forms the philosophical foundation of domain analysis is argued and the implications of these theories to IS are presented. Originality/value: The intellectual evolving landscape of domain analysis during a quarter century is comprehensively reviewed. Over the past twenty-five years, domain analysis has established its academic status in the international IS circle. Being an important metatheory, paradigm and methodology, domain analysis becomes the theoretical foundation of IS research. The technology for transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) has significantly changed over the years, with important improvements in the signal generators, the coils, the positioning systems, and the software for modeling, optimization, and therapy planning. In this systematic literature review (SLR), the evolution of each component of TMS technology is presented and analyzed to assess the limitations to overcome. This SLR was carried out following the PRISMA 2020 statement. Published articles of TMS were searched for in four databases (Web of Science, PubMed, Scopus, IEEE). Conference papers and other reviews were excluded. Records were filtered using terms about TMS technology with a semi-automatic software; articles that did not present new technology developments were excluded manually. After this screening, 101 records were included, with 19 articles proposing new stimulator designs (18.8%), 46 presenting or adapting coils (45.5%), 18 proposing systems for coil placement (17.8%), and 43 implementing algorithms for coil optimization (42.6%). The articles were blindly classified by the authors to reduce the risk of bias. However, our results could have been influenced by our research interests, which would affect conclusions for applications in psychiatric and neurological diseases. Our analysis indicates that more emphasis should be placed on optimizing the current technology with a special focus on the experimental validation of models. Background: Non-inflammatory corneal stromal thinness causes the central or paracentral region of the cornea to thin and protrude anteriorly, leading to myopia, irregular astigmatism, and vision impairment with keratoconus (KC). About 90% of the time, it is bilateral, but the severity and progression are asymmetrical. It normally begins around the time of puberty and continues until the third or fourth decade of life before stopping. The severity of the condition, the degree of visual impairment, and the benefits and drawbacks of each treatment option all play a role in determining the best course of medical or surgical treatment. Objective: review article aimed to assess the new modalities of keratoconus management. Methods: PubMed, Google scholar and Science direct were searched using the following keywords: Keratoconus, keratoconus management, corneal cross linking and intrastromal corneal ring segments. The authors also screened references from the relevant literature, including all the identified studies and reviews, only the most recent or complete study was included between March 2009 and January 2022. Documents in a language apart from English have been excluded as sources for interpretation. Papers apart from main scientific studies (documents unavailable as total written text, conversation, conference abstract papers and dissertations) were excluded. Conclusion: It is possible to conduct corneal cross linking and intrastromal corneal ring segments methods simultaneously or in a sequential order, which has a beneficial effect on KC treatment. Background: Less than one percent of all foot and ankle fractures are caused by talar neck fractures. Arthritis, osteonecrosis, and fractures due to malunion were also common. High suspicion is needed to identify talar process fractures, especially in the context of ankle sprain-like processes including inversion and/or eversion, as these injuries are difficult to detect on routinely radiographs. Objective: This review article aimed to characterize talus neck fractures and their clinical and radiological diagnosis. Methods: These databases were searched for articles published in English in 3 data bases [PubMed – Google scholar- science direct] and Boolean operators (and, OR, not) had been used such as [Talar fractures, foot & ankle fractures] and in peer-reviewed articles between May 1977 and January 2021, no language limitations, and filtered in selected data basis. However, the range of time interval for researches was wide as there was scarcity of data on the particular reviewed, accurate and depth in the retrieved literature. Documents in a language apart from English had been excluded as sources for interpretation. Papers apart from main scientific studies had been excluded (documents unavailable as total written text, conversation, conference abstract papers and dissertations). Conclusion: In some cases, talar fractures are accompanied by soft tissue envelope damage (A common link between open talus fractures). Talar body extrusion and deltoid ligament encirclement are two distinct features of Hawkins type III fracture dislocations. The paper continues previous research of media and communication discipline in Croatia and presents part of the results from the first Croatian case study on the international scientific research project MEDIADELCOM. We analyze scientific and professional production in the last two decades (2000- 2020) and provide an overview of texts that thematically cover four conceptual domains of the media system – Legal framework for freedom of expression and information, Journalism, Media usage patterns and Media related competences of the audience – which create opportunities or risks for the realization of deliberative communication, i.e. deliberative democracy. The analysis sample consists of some 500 scientific, professional and conference papers, chapters in books and conference proceedings, research reports, etc., collected from various national and international databases. Generative artificial intelligence (GAI) is a rapidly growing field with a wide range of applications. In this paper, a thorough examination of the research landscape in GAI is presented, encompassing a comprehensive overview of the prevailing themes and topics within the field. The study analyzes a corpus of 1319 records from Scopus spanning from 1985 to 2023 and comprises journal articles, books, book chapters, conference papers, and selected working papers. The analysis revealed seven distinct clusters of topics in GAI research: image processing and content analysis, content generation, emerging use cases, engineering, cognitive inference and planning, data privacy and security, and Generative Pre-Trained Transformer (GPT) academic applications. The paper discusses the findings of the analysis and identifies some of the key challenges and opportunities in GAI research. The paper concludes by calling for further research in GAI, particularly in the areas of explainability, robustness, cross-modal and multi-modal generation, and interactive co-creation. Robot sequential decision-making in the real world is a challenge because it requires the robots to simultaneously reason about the current world state and dynamics, while planning actions to accomplish complex tasks. On the one hand, declarative languages and reasoning algorithms support representing and reasoning with commonsense knowledge. But these algorithms are not good at planning actions toward maximizing cumulative reward over a long, unspecified horizon. On the other hand, probabilistic planning frameworks, such as Markov decision processes (MDPs) and partially observable MDPs (POMDPs), support planning to achieve long-term goals under uncertainty. But they are ill-equipped to represent or reason about knowledge that is not directly related to actions. In this article, we present an algorithm, called iCORPP, to simultaneously estimate the current world state, reason about world dynamics, and construct task-oriented controllers. In this process, robot decision-making problems are decomposed into two interdependent (smaller) subproblems that focus on reasoning to "understand the world" and planning to "achieve the goal" respectively. The developed algorithm has been implemented and evaluated both in simulation and on real robots using everyday service tasks, such as indoor navigation, and dialog management. Results show significant improvements in scalability, efficiency, and adaptiveness, compared to competitive baselines including handcrafted action policies. • This article formally introduces the Integrated Reasoning and Planning (IRP) problem for robots. 3D human motion prediction, predicting future poses from a given sequence, is an issue of great significance and challenge in computer vision and machine intelligence, which can help machines in understanding human behaviors. Due to the increasing development and understanding of Deep Neural Networks (DNNs) and the availability of large-scale human motion datasets, the human motion prediction has been remarkably advanced with a surge of interest among academia and industrial community. In this context, a comprehensive survey on 3D human motion prediction is conducted for the purpose of retrospecting and analyzing relevant works from existing released literature. In addition, a pertinent taxonomy is constructed to categorize these existing approaches for 3D human motion prediction. In this survey, relevant methods are categorized into three categories: human pose representation , network structure design , and prediction target. We systematically review all relevant journal and conference papers in the field of human motion prediction since 2015, which are presented in detail based on proposed categorizations in this survey. Furthermore, the outline for the public benchmark datasets, evaluation criteria, and performance comparisons are respectively presented in this paper. Background: The prevalence of osteoporosis is reported differently. We designed this systematic review and meta-analysis to estimate pooled prevalence of osteoporosis and osteopenia in patients with MS.Methods: Independently, two researchers searched PubMed, Scopus, EMBASE, Web of Science, and google scholar along with gray literature (conference abstracts and references of the references) up to March 2021. We collected data regarding first author, country of origin, number of enrolled patients, number cases with osteoporosis/ osteopenia, mean age, F/M ratio, mean EDSS, and mean duration of the disease.Results: Literature search revealed 847 articles and 658 remained after deleting duplicates. Finally, 29 original articles and 6 conference papers remained for meta-analysis. A total of 13,906 patients were evaluated. The pooled prevalence of osteoporosis was 17% (95% CI: 14-20%) (I2 = 90.4%, p < 0.001). The pooled prevalence of osteopenia was 43% (95% CI: 35-51%) (I2 = 97.9%, p < 0.001).Conclusion: Osteoporosis/osteopenia should be considered in patients with MS. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Definition: This entry presents the theoretical fundamentals, the mathematical formulation, and the numerical solution for the problem of desiccation cracks in clayey soils. The formulation uses two stress state variables (total stress and suction) and results in a non-symmetric and nonlinear system of transient partial differential equations. A release node algorithm technique is proposed to simulate cracking, and the strategy to implement it in the hydromechanical framework is explained in detail. This article focuses on the results of published research into China's urban planning history since 2011. A total of 1,057 articles were selected, including 198 theses, 465 journal papers, and 394 conference papers. It provides quantitative statistics and analysis of the literature, using CiteSpace to conduct a bibliometric analysis of the data. Based on quantitative analysis and supported by the literature, this paper qualitatively concludes and summarizes the research hotspots and evolution of Chinese urban planning history from five dimensions: planning practice, system construction, thought and theory, figures, and discipline. The achievements delve into the exploration of motivations and mechanisms, planning ideology, methodology, practice subjects, and preparation process based on a staged review of the historical process of practice and a summary of its characteristics, which shows a process from partial to holistic and fragmented to systematic in general terms, contributing to the formation of a complete planning history research system. A comprehensive analysis of quantitative statistics, knowledge mapping of literature, and important research content reveals the characteristics of research into the history of Chinese urban planning over the past decade. The aim of this paper was to present the development of the journal Kinesiology - International Journal of Fundamental and Applied Kinesiology over the five decades of its publication through the analysis of the articles using bibliometric indicators. The sample consisted of 1083 articles published over the period of 50 years, from the 1st volume in 1971 until the 52nd volume in 2020. The analysis of the articles revealed that the most common articles were original scientific papers, while the least represented articles were categorized as conference papers. From 1971 to 1996, most articles were written in the Croatian language. However, in the period 1996-1999, the journal was published both in Croatian and English and since 2000 onwards exclusively in English. The cited references in the last decade of the journal's publication were analysed in order to point out the patterns of scientific communication in kinesiology and to determine the recognizability of the published papers at the international level. Since 2006, greater visibility of Kinesiology - International Journal of Fundamental and Applied Kinesiology has been enabled by providing access to full texts of publications through the Portal of Scientific Journals of Croatia - Hrčak, whereas the articles published until the end of 2005 were retrogradely digitized. Federated learning (FL) is a scheme in which several consumers work collectively to unravel machine learning (ML) problems, with a dominant collector synchronizing the procedure. This decision correspondingly enables the training data to be distributed, guaranteeing that the individual device's data are secluded. The paper systematically reviewed the available literature using the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Review and Meta-analysis (PRISMA) guiding principle. The study presents a systematic review of appliable ML approaches for FL, reviews the categorization of FL, discusses the FL application areas, presents the relationship between FL and Blockchain Technology (BT), and discusses some existing literature that has used FL and ML approaches. The study also examined applicable machine learning models for federated learning. The inclusion measures were (i) published between 2017 and 2021, (ii) written in English, (iii) published in a peer-reviewed scientific journal, and (iv) Preprint published papers. Unpublished studies, thesis and dissertation studies, (ii) conference papers, (iii) not in English, and (iv) did not use artificial intelligence models and blockchain technology were all removed from the review. In total, 84 eligible papers were finally examined in this study. Finally, in recent years, the amount of research on ML using FL has increased. Accuracy equivalent to standard feature-based techniques has been attained, and ensembles of many algorithms may yield even better results. We discovered that the best results were obtained from the hybrid design of an ML ensemble employing expert features. However, some additional difficulties and issues need to be overcome, such as efficiency, complexity, and smaller datasets. This paper conducted a comparative analysis of the conference publications published by Chinese scholars from 2006 to 2019. The main results are as follows. First, the conference papers are unevenly distributed among the 31 provincial administrative regions. The annual number of conference papers published by scholars from different regions fluctuated during the study period. Second, there are different disciplinary distributions of China Proceedings of Conferences Full‐text Database (CPCD) papers and Conference Proceedings Citation Index (CPCI) papers, and the CPCI publications have a relatively centralized disciplinary distribution. Third, it is noteworthy that there are more CPCD papers than CPCI papers. Background: Gastric outlet obstruction (GOO) is a clinical condition caused by a mechanical blockage of the upper digestive tract at the level of the distal stomach, pylorus or duodenum. Often encountered in the context of advanced malignancy, it is associated with debilitating symptoms including intractable nausea and vomiting, inability to tolerate oral nutrition, abdominal pain and decreased quality of life. Objective: The aim of the review is to evaluate endoscopic ultrasound-guided gastroenterostomy vs duodenal stenting vs surgical gastrojejunostomy for the treatment of malignant gastric outlet obstruction. Methods: PubMed, Google scholar and Science direct were searched using keywords. The author also screened references from the relevant literature, including all the identified studies and reviews, only the most recent or complete studies were included, which were published between 1992 and 2022. Documents in a language apart from English have been excluded as sources for interpretation was not found. Papers apart from main scientific studies had been excluded: documents unavailable as total written text, conversation, conference abstract papers and dissertations. Conclusion: Ultrasound-guided gastroenterostomy (EUS-GE) is emerging as a potential treatment option for GOO. When compared to duodenal stenting and surgical gastrojejunostomy (SGJ), EUS-GE may provide a longer lasting treatment for GOO. Background: HELLP occurs in 0.5%-0.9% of all pregnancies. About 30% of the cases happen within 48 hours after delivery. Women with postpartum HELLP syndrome have significantly higher incidences of complications. Because of the absence of classical signs of preeclampsia, it can confuse physicians and lead to delay in diagnosis. Therefore, it is associated with serious maternal and baby morbidity. Objective: We aimed in this review to highlight on HELLP syndrome after cesarean delivery due to its extreme risk to the mother and baby after birth. Methods: These databases were searched for articles published in English in 4 data bases: PubMed - Google scholar-The Egyptian knowledge bank and Science direct. A 27-year date range was selected, no language limitations, and filtered in selected data basis for the last 27 years. Background: This inflammatory condition affects the pilosebaceous unit, causing comedones, inflammatory papules, and pustules to appear on the face, chest, and back. Propionibacterium acnes and inflammation surrounding the pilosebaceous unit, aberrant keratinization, and increased sebum production all play a role in acne's pathophysiology. Scarring from acne and acne can lead to low self-esteem and feelings of embarrassment, all of which have a negative impact on one's overall wellbeing. Objective: To see if topical adapalene can help with post-acne scar treatment. Results: Anti-acne retinoid adapalene (ADP) was licensed by the FDA in 1996 for use in treating acne. It improves the appearance of the skin of the face by reducing facial lesions. Acne lesions, both inflammatory and noninflammatory, respond well to adapalene gel treatment. In terms of adverse effects, the medicine is completely safe and does not cause burning or dryness. Conclusion: It is possible that adapalene, which has been shown to be effective in the therapy of photoaging-related skin damage, could have a similar effect on the treatment of atrophic acne scars. We convened a conference funded by the National Science Foundation at Arizona State University in April 2021. The 40 papers presented at the conference, a subset of which form this special issue, together demonstrated that, far from collapsing in the face of duress, law is a malleable tool that is deployed in novel ways to promote human rights. Collectively, the conference participants illustrated that the power of human rights lies not in their essentialized transcendence of time, culture, and context, but in their enduring promise that a more just world can emerge from sustained and creative struggle through, against, and at the margins of states, laws, and institutions. Ultimately, the key questions to emerge are not whether human rights law and practice will survive, but rather, what are the forces that continue to sustain, revitalize, and transform them? The code base of system software is growing fast, which results in a large number of vulnerabilities: for example, 296 CVEs have been found in Xen hypervisor and 2195 CVEs in Linux kernel. To reduce the reliance on the trust of system software, many researchers try to provide trusted execution environments (TEEs), which can be categorized into two types: non-privileged TEEs and privileged TEEs. Non-privileged TEEs (e.g., Intel SGX) are extensible, but cannot protect security services like virtual machine introspection (VMI) due to the lack of system-level semantics. On the contrary, privileged TEEs (e.g., the secure world of ARM TrustZone) have system-level semantics, but any additional service implemented in the privileged TEE directly increases the TCB of the entire system. In this article, we propose a new design of TEE to support system-level security services and achieve better extensibility with a small TCB. Each TEE instance of the proposed design is named a Colony. Specifically, we introduce a secure monitor for isolation and capability management. Each Colony is assigned capabilities to access only necessary system-level semantics. We use the new TEE to build four security services, including secure device accessing, VMI tools, a system call tracer, and a much more complex service to virtualize ARM TrustZone with multiple Colonies. We have implemented the system on ARMv7 and ARMv8 platforms, in Xen hypervisor and Linux kernel, and perform a detailed evaluation to show its efficiency. 1. The present paper describes the Canadian Journal of Information and library science (CJILS) research output between 1993-2021. All articles published since 1993 were analyzed for publication. The result reveals that 337 articles, book reviews, editorial and conference papers were published during 1993 to 2021. Authorship patterns, geographical locations of authors, keywords and contributions of various institutions from different continents were brought into consideration for this study. Longitudinal trends are noted in this research and the data were compared with earlier descriptions of information science in Canada. The result shows that majority of works were contributed by scholars from Canada. Noticing the year-wise contributions, it was found that the year 2015 was good by contributing 22 papers in CJILS. Among the most prominent institutions, The University of Western Ontario produced total 54 papers. Among the most prominent authorship, Julien, H. remained in the top position with ten articles at this journal. The 28 years contribution to the Canadian Journal of Information and Library Science (CJILS) will help the dynamic researchers, scholars in library and information science and stakeholders of the journal to further advance the quality of journal in the near future. The current status and annotated checklist of fresh- and brackish-water amphipod species inhabiting the inland waters (streams, lakes, ponds, lagoons, subterranean waters, etc.) of Turkey is presented. Totally, 171 papers, 3 books, 3 book chapters, 5 conference papers, 2 projects, 3 PhD and 3 MSc thesis were examined in the present study. As the result of the previous records, 201 taxa comprising 121 amphipods (16 families, 31 genera), 27 isopods (9 families, 13 genera), 9 mysids (1 family, 5 genera), 4 tanaids (3 families, 4 genera) and 40 decapods (16 families, 18 genera) were compiled. All the previously recorded localities of each taxon were listed in detail. The endemic taxa and the doubtful records were indicated and discussed. School well-being has a growing interest in educational research and practice, although its multidimensional nature and the imprecision in its definition limit its knowledge and make more in-depth study necessary. The aim was to deepen the understanding of the construct of school well-being identifying perspectives, models and definitory elements. A systematic review of 53 bibliographic sources from internationally databases (APA, PsycInfo, ERIC, Scopus, WoS) was conducted. PICO approach for formulating the eligibility criteria and searching for research questions, and PRISMA-compliance systematic review recommendations were followed. There were included articles and papers conferences, from 2000 to 2020, with the keywords school wellbeing or well-being, in English, French, Portuguese and Spanish languages. Topics related to health and illness, work, university, and social, economic, politic, or cultural issues were excluded. Information was analysed descriptively using the meta-narrative. The characteristics of the studies (methodology, participants, years of publication and countries) were presented; the perspectives classically linked to school well-being as a subjective (hedonic) and psychological (eudemonic) concept as well as the social well-being were explained; and the factors that operationalize it were identified. This work covers the operational use of the Aerojet General Nucleonics Model 201 Reactor (AGN-201M) at the University of New Mexico (UNM) in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The AGN-201M is a research and test reactor that operates at 5-watts (thermal) and utilizes HALEU fuel encased in polyethylene fuel disks. Operational usage in hours and watt-hours for the 2021 and 2022 fiscal year is provided, as well as licensing data (including training usage), notable research projects, outreach, and educational use in the Nuclear Engineering program at UNM.
