RESUMO Segundo a literatura, um inventário preciso da distribuição das idades de melhor desempenho nas diferentes disciplinas do atletismo pode proporcionar uma informação ímpar na altura de se produzirem planos e programas de treino de longo prazo para eventos ao mais alto nível. O presente estudo tem como objetivo identificar a idade de melhor desempenho dos atletas participantes nos campeonatos de Portugal de atletismo, com referência às disciplinas e setores que caracterizam a competição. Foram consideradas todas as participações medalhadas (pista coberta - PC, n = 2310; ar livre - AL, n = 3161). Os intervalos de confiança para a idade média dos atletas medalhados foram obtidos com recurso ao método de Equações de Estimação Generalizadas. Os resultados indicaram a média de idades, (i) PC, mais baixa no salto com vara feminino (21.60 anos) e no salto em comprimento masculino (24.42 anos), e mais elevada nos 3000 m marcha feminino (25.18 anos) e nos 5000 m marcha masculino (29.70 anos); (ii) AL, mais baixa no salto em comprimento feminino (22.90 anos) e nos 200 m masculino (23.46 anos), e mais elevada nos 5000 m feminino (27.55 anos) e 10000 m marcha masculino (32.23 anos). Os resultados sugerem que as idades de melhor desempenho ocorrem (i) PC, entre os 23 e os 24 anos nas atletas femininas, e os 24 e os 25 nos atletas masculinos; (ii) AL, entre os 23 e os 25 anos nas atletas femininas, e os 24 e 26 anos nos atletas masculinos. O conhecimento objetivo das idades de melhor desempenho nos campeonatos de Portugal de atletismo, por sexo e disciplina, poderá ser uma informação útil para uma gestão eficiente de talentos e das carreiras desportivas.

Objetivo: Esse estudo tem como objetivo verificar a relação entre o uso de indicadores de avaliação de desempenho e a remuneração de executivos em Instituições Financeiras de capital aberto. Método: É de caráter descritivo, quantitativo e realizado por meio de análises documentais. A base de dados é composta por 26 empresas brasileiras do setor bancário, listadas na B3, com dados dos anos de 2010 a 2019 com regressão por meio de dados em painel. Originalidade e Relevância: No Brasil, a relevância para a situação econômica das instituições financeiras tem interesse cada vez maior no uso dos indicadores de desempenho para a avaliação de seu desenvolvimento, e dessa forma também acompanhar o comportamento dos funcionários em prol de melhores resultados. Resultados: Os resultados mostram que a remuneração total tende a ser influenciada pelo uso de indicadores de desempenho financeiros e de longo prazo, enquanto a remuneração variável tende a sofrer influência apenas de indicadores de longo prazo, e a proporção da remuneração variável tende a ser influenciada pelo uso do indicador de desempenho organizacional e de curto prazo. Além disso, as instituições financeiras que fazem uso de indicadores de desempenho financeiros e de longo prazo tendem a conceder mais remuneração total aos executivos. O estudo também mostra que apenas os indicadores de avaliação individual e não financeiro não exercem influência na remuneração dos executivos das instituições financeiras pesquisadas, sendo os demais indicadores, organizacionais, financeiros de longo e curto prazo, influentes em pelo menos um tipo de remuneração. Contribuições teóricas/metodológicas/práticas: A contribuição teorica e prática do estudo está relacionado com a alta competitividade do setor, a constante busca por lucros e continuidade no mercado, além de monitoramento dos executivos em relação as constantes e altas metas bancárias.

Objetivo: Neste estudo investigam-se os reflexos da reforma trabalhista de 2017 na mitigação das judicializações trabalhistas e no desempenho dos tribunais do trabalho, além de verificar com ineditismo, seus efeitos na geração de empregos formais e na movimentação da economia, considerando regiões e setores econômicos. Método: Pesquisa documental foi realizada em fontes governamentais e aos dados aplicou-se análise qualitativa comparativa de série temporal entre os anos de 2015 e 2020. Originalidade: A análise reflexos da reforma trabalhista de 2017 no desempenho dos tribunais do trabalho mostra-se original, pois não foram encontrados trabalhos que analisassem os resultados da nova legislação no desempenho do judiciário trabalhista. Assim, tem o ineditismo de apresentar os reflexos da reforma na eficiência pública e na dinâmica processual, considerando regiões e setores econômicos. Resultados: Os resultados mostram que, em geral, houve efeitos positivos na redução do número de processos trabalhistas no período pós reforma, mas há evidências para acreditar que no curto prazo não houve melhora nos índices de desempenho dos tribunais do trabalho. Além disso, os resultados não denotam efeitos significativos do rigor da legislação laboral na geração de empregos formais no curto prazo e na movimentação da economia. Contribuições teóricas e práticas: O estudo contribui com a literatura que investiga a relação entre mudanças nas legislações e suas inter-relações com a eficiência pública, ao mesmo tempo que apresenta implicações para a prática gerencial do judiciário brasileiro, na medida em que incrementa evidências empíricas sobre a temática investigada.

O artigo aborda a relação entre sociedade capitalista e a narrativa gerencial que vislumbra fortalecer as disposições empreendedoras do sujeito de desempenho sem qualquer consideração por suas naturais limitações existenciais, escamoteando assim suas experiências íntimas de dor como disposições contrárias ao cálculo da rentabilidade.

Estudos sobre resiliência vêm ganhando cada vez mais importância na literatura relacionada ao ensino superior (BREWER et al., 2019). A complexidade do assunto permite analisar lacunas ainda não preenchidas pela academia. Neste contexto, o objetivo do artigo foi analisar a relação entre a resiliência e o desempenho acadêmico dos estudantes de Ciências Contábeis. Para atingir o objetivo proposto pela pesquisa, foi aplicado um questionário a 183 discentes regularmente matriculados no curso de Contabilidade em uma universidade pública brasileira no segundo semestre de 2019. Para mensurar a resiliência dos discentes, utilizou-se a Resilience Scale, amplamente validada pela literatura (WAGNILD, 2009). Para o desempenho acadêmico, utilizou-se a autopercepção dos estudantes, metodologia já empregada em estudos anteriores (CORNACCHIONE JUNIOR et al., 2010; MUJICA et al., 2019). A análise dos dados contou com teste de médias, regressões lineares simples e múltipla. Como principais resultados, destaca-se a relação diretamente proporcional entre a resiliência e o desempenho acadêmico dos discentes. Essa evidência se manteve consistente, inclusive, quando controlada por outros fatores, como prolongamento de curso e renda familiar. Variáveis como gênero, religião e o período que o discente se encontra na graduação apresentaram, ainda, significância estatística para explicar o nível de resiliência dos participantes da pesquisa. O estudo contribui com a literatura na medida que levanta evidências sobre a importância da resiliência para o desempenho acadêmico dos estudantes. Adicionalmente, tanto para academia quanto para a prática contábil, o artigo endereça achados que permitem considerar uma nova variável no entendimento do desempenho acadêmico dos discentes de Contabilidade.

RESUMO A investigação das possíveis influências entre o treinamento de flexibilidade e o desempenho de força muscular pode contribuir para a compreensão do treinamento. O objetivo do presente estudo foi verificar o efeito de três semanas de treinamento de flexibilidade no torque e potência muscular. Dez adultos, divididos em Grupo Alongamento (GA, N=5) e Controle (GC, N=5) foram avaliados antes e após a intervenção. A intervenção foi realizada pelo GA e consistiu em um protocolo de alongamento estático passivo para os músculos posteriores da coxa, realizados em três por semana e durante três semanas. O torque e potência da extensão e flexão dos joelhos foram avaliados utilizando dinamômetro isocinético em três velocidades (60, 180 e 360º/s). A amplitude de movimento (ADM) foi avaliada pelo teste de sentar e alcançar. Houve incremento de ADM (pré: 23,0±5,6cm; pós: 30,1±6,58cm; p=0,033) do GA, mas não foram observadas diferenças entre e intra-grupos para as demais variáveis (p>0,05). Houveram correlações da ADM apenas para o torque da flexão (r=0,664; p=0,036) e potência da extensão (r=0,638; p=0,047) do joelho esquerdo a 60º/s. Conclui-se que três semanas de treinamento de flexibilidade com método estático passivo promoveu ganhos significativos de ADM, mas não possibilitou incrementos de torque e potência.

Autores argumentam que a utilização de sistema de custo mais funcional poderia contribuir na tomada de decisão e, consequentemente, no desempenho econômico. Entretanto, existem estudos que afirmam que somente a funcionalidade do sistema de custo não seria capaz de impulsionar um desempenho favorável, pois isso depende do alinhamento entre o sistema de custo e variáveis contingenciais. Nessa linha, a presente pesquisa buscou identificar a relação de variáveis contingenciais com o sistema de custo e, a deste com o desempenho dos hospitais que atendem ao SUS, no estado de Minas Gerais. Utilizando-se questionário estruturado, bancos de dados eletrônico do CNES e ONA, análise fatorial e modelagem de equações estruturais, encontrou-se achados que corroboram com a teoria da contingência, evidenciando que o alinhamento entre variáveis contingenciais e o sistema de custo pode influenciar o desempenho. Esses resultados podem oferecer insights potencialmente úteis para gestores hospitalares projetarem características do sistema de custo que se encaixam com fatores contextuais, para melhoraria do desempenho.

São grandes as expectativas da sociedade brasileira contemporânea em relação à formação universitária necessária para as carreiras burocráticas e científicas. O Ensino Superior deve proporcionar aos professores, pesquisadores e alunos o desenvolvimento de um conjunto de competências.

Investigation about influences between stretching training and muscle strength performance can contribute to the understanding of training. The aim of the present study was to verify the effect of three weeks of stretching training on muscle torque and power. Ten adults, divided into Stretching Group (GA, N = 5) and Control Group (CG, N = 5) were evaluated pre and post intervention. The intervention was performed by GA and consisted of a passive static stretching protocol for the posterior thigh muscles, performed three times a week and during three weeks. The torque and power of the knee extension and flexion were evaluated using an isokinetic dynamometer at three speeds (60, 180 and 360º/s). Range of motion (ROM) was assessed using the sit and reach test. There was an increase in ROM (pre: 23.0 ± 5.6 cm; post: 30.1 ± 6.58 cm; p = 0.033) of GA, but there were no differences between and within groups for the other variables (p> 0.05). There were correlations of the ROM only for the flexion torque (r = 0.664; p = 0.036) and power of the extension (r = 0.638; p = 0.047) of the left knee at 60º/s. O treinamento de forca (TF) com supervisão pode afetar a carga total levantada (CTL), o número total de repetições (NTR), o tempo líquido sob tensão (TLT) e a percepção subjetiva de esforço (PSE) em indivíduos experientes em TF. O objetivo do presente estudo foi avaliar o efeito da supervisão do personal trainer na sessão de indivíduos experientes em TF. Quinze homens (20,0±2 anos; 176,0±4 cm; 79,3±4,7 kg) experientes com o TF realizaram duas sessões compostas com exercícios para o corpo todo. Supervised resistance training may affect several acute variables such as volume load (VL), the maximum number of repetitions (NRM), time under tension (TUT), and rate of perceived exertion (RPE) in resistance trained-men. The present study aimed to evaluate the influence of the personal trainer's supervision on a resistance training session in resistance trained-men. Fifteen resistance-trained men (20,0±2 years; 176,0±4 cm; 79,3±4,7 kg) performed two training sessions composed of whole-body exercises. In the session without personal trainer's supervision (NPT) the subjects self-selected their loads for each exercise and were oriented to "select a load typically employed to perform 10 repetitions"; in the session with personal trainer's supervision (WPT) the subjects self-selected their loads for each exercise and were oriented to "perform maximum effort". It was observed greater VL (P<0,001, Δ%=30), NRM (P<0,001, Δ%=29), TUT (P=0,003, Δ%=21), and RPE (P<0,001, Δ%=29) in the resistance training session WPT. The swimming bench has been used as complementary training in swimming, however, there are no studies that analyze in three dimensions the specificity movement applied by this land-based swimming simulator. The aim of the study was to compare the stroke parameters of front-crawl swimming and swim-bench, as well as movement symmetry. Ten swimmers (16 ± 1.4 years) were filmed in a real swimming condition (50m) and a 30s swim bench stroke simulation using four GoPro Hero 4 cameras. Stroke dimensions, hand speed in the underwater phase and hip displacement were analyzed. Comparison between tests and sides symmetry was performed by two-way repeated measurements ANOVA and stroke rate between the tests was analyzed by Student's t-test. Swimmers showed a symmetrical characteristic in both conditions which indicates high body control and proficiency. The stroke dimensions differed between tests, mainly explained by the displacement limitation, trunk and hip rotation in the swim bench. The stroke rate and underwater hand speed pattern were similar (p> 0.05) and partially justify the use of this equipment as complementary land-based training, evaluation and control of the swimmers performance. In order to identify factors that interfere with gym clients' choice, permanence and withdrawal, the aim of this study was to build and validate an instrument to assess the quality of services provided by gyms. The study has four stages (question identification, evaluation of the analysis matrix clarity, importance and relevance, reliability analysis on instrument questions, and question analysis as to the instrument construct). A total of 51 criteria were identified and deemed important for service quality. The Analysis Matrix was composed of the following dimensions: structure, management, marketing and accessibility. The question and matrix evaluation ruled out 19 questions. The reliability evaluation excluded one question and the accessibility dimension. The Confirmatory Factor Analysis model evidenced adequate goodness of fit after the exclusion of eight questions and performance of six correlations. Composite Reliability, Average Variance Extracted, Discriminant Validity, and Cronbach's alpha showed acceptable values. Thus, it is concluded that the instrument called "Rating Scale for Quality of Services Provided by Gyms" (QUASPG) has satisfactory psychometric properties, being composed of 21 questions distributed into three dimensions, namely: Environment, Management and Marketing. This paper aimed to describe the microcredit supply processes from three different institutions (a state development bank and two public banks), located in a small municipality of Mato Grosso State. Data were collected through open interviews. We conducted a qualitative analysis of the data, using content analysis technique. O objetivo do presente artigo é avaliar o desempenho dos times da primeira divisão do futebol brasileiro, com base em dados do campeonato brasileiro, no período entre 2003 e 2014. A técnica multivariada utilizada para a análise foi a construção de uma medida de dissimilaridade e de similaridade, bem como a análise de alguns indicadores. Como principais resultados observou-se uma grande concentração de desempenhos acima da média em clubes das regiões sul e sudeste. Além disso, observou-se que o São Paulo Futebol Clube foi o time com melhor desempenho no período de pontos corridos.

Devido às suas ações anabólicas, os esteroides anabolizantes (EAs) são usados por atletas para melhorar o desempenho físico, mas seu uso vem sendo crescente também entre indivíduos que praticam atividade física como forma de lazer, com o simples objetivo de melhorar a aparência física. Os usuários de EAs fazem uso de doses suprafisiológicas, que podem levar ao aparecimento de sérios efeitos colaterais, como os prejuízos cardiovasculares, o que faz do uso indiscriminado e abusivo um importante problema de saúde publica. Com isso, a presente revisão tem como objetivo despertar o interesse dos leitores e professores de Educação Física pelo EA e os perigos, muitas vezes ocultos, associados ao uso indiscriminado dessas drogas, principalmente sobre o sistema cardiovascular.

This study aimed to compare physiological and neuromuscular indexes of judokas in different weight categories. Eighteen male judokas took part of the study grouped into three categories: extra-light/half-light, light/half-middle and middle/half-heavy weight. The following evaluations were performed: Counter Movement Jump (CMJ); Special Judo Fitness Test (SJFT); match simulation to obtain the peak blood lactate (LACmax) and the percentage of the blood lactate removal (BLR); incremental test to obtain anaerobic threshold (vAT) and peak velocity (PV) and pull test in the judogui to obtain the rate of force development (RFD). O objetivo deste estudo foi comparar e correlacionar valores de velocidade crítica (VC) e de velocidade média de nado (VN) correspondentes à concentração de 4 mM de lactato sanguíneo (V4) e de VN de 300 m (V300) sob máxima intensidade. Oito nadadores, do sexo masculino, com idades entre 22 e 25 anos e três anos de experiência, realizaram seis avaliações: 1) repetições máximas nas distâncias de 100, 200, 300 e 400 metros para a determinação dos valores de VC e da V300; e 2) duas repetições de 300 metros, respectivamente a 90 e 100% da V300, para a determinação da V4. Não foi encontrada diferença e correlação da V4 com a V300 e os valores de VC. Foram encontradas correlações entre os modelos de VC com a V300. A utilização de diferentes modelos não influencia a determinação da VC e os métodos utilizados no presente estudo não apresentaram diferenças significativas.

The objective of this study was to analyze the chances of the most mature individuals to present better results on physical fitness tests. 221 boys were analyzed, age ranging from 12 through 16 years, involved in organized sports were analyzed. This study aimed to verify what were the motivational factors that made teenagers to choose ADUFSM soccer school, and to verify the difference among the groups, the performance and gain scores at soccer basis. The sample comprised 32 persons, 10 to 16 years old, that practice soccer at ADUFSM. The sample was divided in four groups. The motivational factors inventory (MFI) was applied in the beginning of the semester. It was verified, through descriptive statistics, that the stronger motivation for the subjects involvement with soccer was to develop skills (78%), followed by excitation and challenge (72%); affiliation (70%) and aptitude (68%). The performance level evaluation in three different phases was done through soccer basis analytical matrix (SBAM), always in game situation. Five observations per subject were made for each base listed in SBAM, and the execution mistakes were identifies. Initially, an ANOVA was used to deal with the data; later, a post-hoc test. The results showed that learning occurred and that there was a significant difference favoring GF10 in the learning gain scores after the treatment.

One path for process integration is through the mass recycle process. The objective of this study is to investigate the influence of mass recycle in the performance of different control system structures, and its relation with controllability and resiliency indicators. We conclude that both recycle and structure influence in theperformance of the control system, and this influence can be foreseen by controllability and resiliency indicators.

Este estudo objetivou investigar a trajetória de desenvolvimento das atletas de ginástica rítmica da Seleção Brasileira Juvenil, com foco na identificação dos fatores competitivos (motivadores e estressantes) que ocorrem em diferentes fases da carreira esportiva. A população alvo foi de dez atletas. Como instrumentos de medida foramutilizados o Teste de Carga Psíquica de Frester e entrevista semi-estruturada. Para análise utilizou-se estatística descritiva e a análise de conteúdo do tipo categorial. Os resultados demonstraram que na ginástica rítmica o processo de especialização motora das atletas inicia aos 12 anos; os fatores motivadores evidenciados foram o gosto pelo esporte e ser o favorito; os fatores estressantes foram ser prejudicado pelos juizes e falta de tempo para divertimento.Concluindo em uma análise geral, as atletas perceberam o contexto esportivo competitivo como mais estressante do que motivador; esta afirmação acentuou-se a partir da fase de prática motora em que o estresse competitivo para o rendimento se intensificou.This study aimed to investigate the developmental trajectory of the Brazilian Rhythmic Gymnastics Youth Team, focusing on the identification of competitive factors (motivator and stressful) thatoccurs in different sport’s career phases. The sample was composed ten athletes. As measure instruments were used the Frester’s Test Psychic Load and a semi-structured interview. The data were analyzed through the descriptive statistics and categorical type of content’s analysis. The results demonstrated that in the rhythmic gymnastics the process of the athletes’ motor specialization begins at 12 years; the motivator factors evidenced were fun for sport and being the favorite; the stressful factors were being harmed by the judges and not time for fun. Concluding in a general analysis the athletes perceived the competitive sporting context as more stressful than motivator; this affirmation increased starting from the motor’s practice phase where the competitive stress for the income wasintensified.

The selection of pacing is determinant for the sport success, but the analysis of modest variations in pacing requires further studies. The purpose of this study was to determine parameters in the performance curve on cycling time trial to investigate pacing variations and reproducibility. The test sections analysis was also performed. 19 amateur cyclists performed two tests of 4-km, in which parameters were analyzed in the individual performance curves and the average power of the test sections. The time and the average power were similar between tests. There was no difference between the parameters observed in the performance curve comparing the test 1 and 2, but these showed a high value of typical error. The test portions analysis was more consistent, with an alternative to analyze pacing. Despite consistent performance in time trial 4-km, the parameters determined varied widely between individuals. The present study aimed to develop and validate preliminarily a Basketball individual technical-tactical performance assessment instrument in the initial Basketball categories (IAD-BB). The items selection was based upon specific literature and other performance assessment instruments. Ten Physical Education professionals have validated the instrument content. The intra-rater and inter-raters reliabilities were tested through two players games' actions observation. Data analysis included percentage calculation, correlation coefficients (Spearman, intra-class) and Kappa's inter-raters agreement index. Results presented high inter-raters agreement percentage both in action items and in technical-tactical components. The intra and interraters reliability data presented satisfactory correlation and agreement indexes. It was possible to conclude that the IAD-BB revealed itself to be a scientific valid instrument and an useful assessment technique in the game analysis researches. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The role of self-efficacy on performance is the focus of study in sports. The aim of this integrative review was to assess the instruments used to measure self-efficacy related to sports performance and identify its psychometric properties. We searched for articles in databases Eric, Scopus and APA (Psycnet), Scielo ScienceDirect and Pubmed with descriptors self-efficacy, sports, performance. Of the 13 studies selected for analysis, it was found that most proposed specific instruments for research, following recommendations of the guide construction of measures of self-efficacy; just one article presented the validation process, the internal consistency was reported more psychometric property; there was no reference to the reproducibility of the instruments nor disclosure of the instruments used in research. It is concluded that the reproducibility of the instruments allow greater reliability in the results analysis and control of cognitive variables that affect sport performance and that a gold standard for assessing self-efficacy in specific sporting context is necessary.
