We study generalized Killing spinors on round spheres $\mathbb{S}^n$. We show that on the standard sphere $\mathbb{S}^8$ any generalized Killing spinor has to be an ordinary Killing spinor. Moreover we classify generalized Killing spinors on $\mathbb{S}^n$ whose associated symmetric endomorphism has at most two eigenvalues and recover in particular Agricola--Friedrich's canonical spinor on 3-Sasakian manifolds of dimension 7. We study generalized Killing spinors on compact Einstein manifolds with positive scalar curvature. An almost quaternion-Hermitian structure on a Riemannian manifold $(M^{4n},g)$ is a reduction of the structure group of $M$ to $\mathrm{Sp}(n)\mathrm{Sp}(1)\subset \mathrm{SO}(4n)$. We give criteria for real, complex and quaternionic representations to define $s$-representations, focusing on exceptional Lie algebras defined by spin representations. We complete our recent classification of compact inner symmetric spaces with weakly complex tangent bundle by filling up a case which was left open, and extend this classification to the larger category of compact homogeneous spaces with positive Euler characteristic. We show that a simply connected compact equal rank homogeneous space has weakly complex tangent bundle if and only if it is a product of compact equal rank homogeneous spaces which either carry an invariant almost complex structure (and are classified by Hermann), or have stably trivial tangent bundle (and are classified by Singhof and Wemmer), or belong to an explicit list of weakly complex spaces which have neither stably trivial tangent bundle, nor carry invariant almost complex structures., 16 pages

We study 6-dimensional nearly Kähler manifolds admitting a Killing vector field of unit length. In the compact case, it is shown that up to a finite cover there is only one geometry possible, that of the 3-symmetric space S3 × S3.

The aim of this note is to outline some new results obtained in contact geometry by means of spinorial methods and in particular to exhibit some interesting relations between (complex) contact structures and (Kaehlerian) Killing spinors.

Etant donne une structure de Weyl D sur une variete spinorielle (M n ,g) et un spineur non nul D-parallele sur M, nous demontrons que D est fermee si n ¬= 4 ou si M est compacte de dimension 4. Nous donnons des exemples de varietes spinorielles non compactes de dimension 4 qui admettent des spineurs paralleles par rapport a des structures de Weyl qui ne sont pas fermees.

K.D. Kirchberg [Ki1] gave a lower bound for the first eigenvalue of the Dirac operator on a spin compact Kahler manifoldM of odd complex dimension with positive scalar curvature. We prove that manifolds of real dimension 8l+6 satisfying the limiting case are twistor space (cf. [Sa]) of quaternionic Kahler manifold with positive scalar curvature and that the only manifold of real dimension 8l+2 satisfying the limiting case is the complex projective spaceCP4l+1.

In this thesis, we are concerned with two types of non-degenerate conformal structures on a given compact complex manifold. The first structure we are interested in is a twisted holomorphic symplectic (THS) form, i.e. a holomorphic non-degenerate two-form valued in a line bundle. In the second context, we study locally conformally Kähler (LCK) metrics. In the first part, we deal with manifolds of Kähler type. THS forms generalise the well-known holomorphic symplectic forms, the existence of which is equivalent to the manifold admitting a hyperkähler structure, by a theorem of Beauville. We show a similar result in the twisted case, namely: a compact manifold of Kähler type admitting a THS structure is a finite cyclic quotient of a hyperkähler manifold. Moreover, we study under which conditions a locally hyperkähler manifold admits a THS structure. In the second part, manifolds are supposed to be of non-Kähler type. We present a few criteria for the existence or non-existence for special LCK metrics, in terms of the group of biholomorphisms of the manifold. Moreover, we investigate the analytic irreducibility issue for LCK manifolds, as well as the irreducibility of the associated Weyl connection. Thirdly, we study toric LCK manifolds, which can be defined in analogy with toric Kähler manifolds. We show that a compact toric LCK manifold always admits a toric Vaisman metric, which leads to a classification of such manifolds by the work of Lerman. In the last part, we study the cohomological properties of Oeljeklaus-Toma (OT) manifolds. Namely, we compute their de Rham and twisted cohomology. Moreover, we prove that there exists at most one de Rham class which represents the Lee form of an LCK metric on an OT manifold. Finally, we determine all the twisted cohomology classes of LCK metrics on these manifolds., Dans cette thèse on s’intéresse à deux types de structures conformes non-dégénérées sur une variété complexe compacte donnée. La première c’est une forme holomorphe symplectique twistée (THS), i.e. une deux-forme holomorphe non-dégénérée à valeurs dans un fibré en droites. Dans le deuxième contexte, il s’agit des métriques localement conformément kähleriennes (LCK). Dans la première partie, on se place sur un variété de type Kähler. Les formes THS généralisent les formes holomorphes symplectiques, dont l’existence équivaut à ce que la variété admet une structure hyperkählerienne, par un théorème de Beauville. On montre un résultat similaire dans le cas twisté, plus précisément: une variété compacte de type kählerien qui admet une structure THS est un quotient fini cyclique d’une variété hyperkählerienne. De plus, on étudie sous quelles conditions une variété localement hyperkählerienne admet une structure THS. Dans la deuxième partie, les variétés sont supposées de type non-kählerien. Nous présentons quelques critères pour l’existence ou non-existence de métriques LCK spéciales, en terme du groupe de biholomorphismes de la variété. En outre, on étudie le problème d’irréductibilité analytique des variétés LCK, ainsi que l’irréductibilité de la connexion de Weyl associée. Dans un troisième temps, nous étudions les variétés LCK toriques, qui peuvent être définies en analogie avec les variétés de Kähler toriques. Nous montrons qu’une variété LCK torique compacte admet une métrique de Vaisman torique, ce qui mène à une classification de ces variétés par le travail de Lerman. Dans la dernière partie, on s’intéresse aux propriétés cohomologiques des variétés d’Oeljeklaus-Toma (OT). Plus précisément, nous calculons leur cohomologie de de Rham et celle twistée. De plus, on démontre qu’il existe au plus une classe de de Rham qui représente la forme de Lee d’une métrique LCK sur un variété OT. Finalement, on détermine toutes les classes de cohomologie twistée des métriques LCK sur ces variétés.

We study independently even Clfford structures on Riemannian manifolds and quantum resonances on asymptotically hyperbolic manifolds. In the first part of this thesis, we study even Clifford structures.First, we introduce the twistor space of a Riemannian manifold with an even Clifford structure. This notion generalises the twistor space of quaternion-Hermitian manifolds. We construct almost complex structures on the twistor space and check their integrability when the even Clifford structure is parallel. In some cases we give Kähler and nearly-Kähler metrics to these spaces. Second, we introduce the concept of a Clifford-Weyl structure on a conformal manifold. This consists of an even Clifford structure parallel with respect to the tensor product of a metric connection on the Clifford bundle and a Weyl structure on the manifold. We show that the Weyl structure is necessarily closed except for some “generic” low-dimensional instances,where explicit examples of non-closed Clifford-Weyl structures are constructed. In the second part of this thesis, we study quantum resonances. First, we consider the Lichnerowicz Laplacian acting on symmetric 2-tensors on manifolds with an even Riemannian conformally compact Einstein metric. The resolvent of the Laplacian,upon restriction to trace-free, divergence-free tensors, is shown to have a meromorphic continuation to the complex plane. This defines quantum resonances for this Laplacian. For higher rank symmetric tensors, a similar result is proved for convex cocompact quotients of hyperbolic space. Second, we apply this result to establish a direct classical-quantum correspondence on convex cocompact hyperbolic manifolds. The correspondence identifies the spectrum of the geodesic flow with the spectrum of the Laplacian acting on trace-free, divergence-free symmetric tensors. This extends the correspondence previously obtained for cocompact quotients, Ce manuscrit se compose de deux parties indépendantes. La première partie de cette thèse étudie les structures de Clifford paires. Pour une variété riemannienne munie d’une structure de Clifford paire, nous introduisons l’espace de twisteurs en généralisant la construction d’un tel espace dans le cas d’une variété quaternion-hermitienne. Nous construisons une structure presque-complexe sur l’espace de twisteurs et considérons son intégrabilité lorsque la structure de Clifford est parallèle. Dans certains cas, nous pouvons aussi le fournir d’une métriquekählerienne ou, correspondant à une structure presque-complexe alternative, d’une métrique “nearly Kähler”. Dans un second temps, nous introduisons une structure appelée Clifford-Weyl sur une variété conforme. Il s’agit d’une structure de Clifford paireq ui est parallèle par rapport au produit tensoriel d’une connexion métrique sur le fibré de Clifford et une connexion de Weyl. Nous démontrons que la connexion de Weyl est fermée sauf dans certains cas génériques de basse dimension où nous arrivons à décrire des exemples explicites où les structures de Clifford-Weyl sont non-fermées. La seconde partie de cette thèse étudie des résonances quantiques. Au-dessus d’une variété asymptotiquement hyperbolique paire, nous considérons le laplacien de Lichnerowicz agissant sur les sections du fibré des formes multilinéaires symétriques.Lorsqu’il s’agit de formes bilinéaires symétriques, nous obtenonsune extension méromorphe de la résolvante dudit laplacien à l’ensemble du plan complexe si la variété est Einstein. Cela définit les résonances quantiques pour ce laplacien. Pour les formes multilinéaires symétriques en général, une telle extension méromorphe est possible si la variété est convexe-cocompacte. Dans les deux cas, nous devons restreindre le laplacien aux sections qui sont de trace et de divergence nulles. Nous utilisons ce deuxième résultat afin d’établir une correspondance classique-quantique pour les variétés hyperboliques convexescocompactes.La correspondance identifie le spectre du flot géodésique (les résonances de Ruelle) avec les spectres des laplaciens agissant sur les tenseurs symétriques qui sont de trace et de divergence nulles (les résonances quantiques).
