Mexican flag carrier Aeromexico Group has secured a $200 million three-year revolving syndicated credit facility with BBVA Mexico. The loan will be used for day-to-day operations and to free up profits for new investments and pursuing the carrier's business plan. BBVA Mexico acted as the sole global coordinator, sole bookrunner, and agent bank for the loan. Aeromexico currently operates a fleet of over 150 Boeing and Embraer aircraft and reported a net income of $242 million for the three months ended June 2024. The carrier plans to lease at least 32 new aircraft between 2023 and 2025. [Extracted from the article]
