Exclusive: Avianca leases mid-life 787s.

Avianca, a Latin American airline, is acquiring a 2014-vintage Boeing 787-8 aircraft as part of a two-aircraft lease agreement with Altavair Airfinance. These aircraft were previously operated by Norwegian and were acquired by Altitude Aircraft Leasing in July 2023. Avianca currently operates 13 787-8s and has a fleet of 111 narrowbodies, including Airbus A319s, A320s, and A320neos.
