Diese Bachelorarbeit beschäftigt sich mit dem Fragenkomplex: Wie wirksam ist strukturell institutionelle Gewalt aktuell in Betreuungseinrichtungen und welchen Beitrag liefert sie bei Übergriffen von Menschen mit Behinderung gegen Betreuer*innen? Welche Maßnahmen der Gewaltprävention können gesetzt werden? Der Fokus liegt somit auf dem theoretischen Ergründen strukturell institutioneller Gewalt sowie auf den Ursachen und Folgen von Übergriffen von Menschen mit Behinderung gegen Mitarbeiter*innen in Betreuungseinrichtungen. Dazu werden zunächst die Begriffe ‚Gewalt‘ und ‚Behinderung‘ erklärt. Ein weiterer Schwerpunkt liegt auf den Folgen von Gewaltakten in Betreuungseinrichtungen. Anschließend wird die Prävention von Gewaltvorfällen in Einrichtungen der Behindertenhilfe mit ihren wesentlichen Maßnahmen vorgestellt, zu denen sowohl Risiko- als auch Schutzfaktoren gehören. In Anlehnung an Deeskalationsstrategien werden personale und soziale Ressourcen hervorgehoben, die Mitarbeiter*innen aber auch Institutionen bei der Bewältigung von Gewalterfahrungen geholfen haben. Abschließend wird die Position Sozialer Arbeit im professionellen Kontext thematisiert und einige Angebote für gewaltbetroffene Mitarbeiter*innen vorgestellt. Dabei wird im Besonderen auf die Notwendigkeit guter Strukturen innerhalb einer Organisation aufmerksam gemacht, um in den vielfältigen Sozialberufen der strukturell institutionellen Gewalt entschlossen und fundiert entgegenzutreten. This bachelor thesis deals with the following set of questions: How influential is structural institutional violence currently in care institutions and what contribution does it offer in cases of assault by people with disabilities against caregivers? Which measures of violence prevention can be taken? Thus, there is a focus on the theoretical investigation of the concept of structural institutional violence as well as on the causes and consequences of assaults by people with disabilities against medical staff in care institutions. Therefore, the terms 'violence' and 'disability' are defined first. There is a further focus on the consequences of acts of violence in care institutions including the prevention of violent incidents in disability care facilities. The discussion of preventive measures includes both risk and protection factors. In line with de-escalation strategies, human and social resources which have helped staff but also institutions to cope with violent experiences are highlighted. Finally, the position of social work in a professional context is discussed and some offers for employees affected by violence are presented. There is a specific focus on the importance of an appropriate structure within an organisation in order to be able to confront structural institutional violence in the various social professions in a determined and well-founded way.

Die vorliegende Gruppenbachelorarbeit beschäftigt sich mit der Lebenswelt älterer Menschen im Gemeindebau und erforscht welche Problemstellungen sich speziell für diese Personengruppe ergeben. Es soll dargelegt werden, inwieweit man die subjektive Sicherheit und die soziale Teilhabe älterer Menschen im Gemeindebau erhöhen kann. Ziel und Zweck dieser Arbeit ist es, das Zusammenleben und das soziale Umfeld älterer Menschen zu analysieren und darzulegen. Wir konzentrieren uns dabei vor allem auf Menschen mit Demenz, da diese Personengruppe häufig von Exklusionsrisiken in sozialen Nah- und Sorgebeziehungen betroffen ist. Die Ergebnisse unserer Forschung weisen darauf hin, dass Senior*innen länger zu Hause wohnen und nicht wie früher in ein Senior*innenwohnhaus übersiedeln. In folgender Hinsicht hat die Wohnung einen besonderen Stellenwert und wird zum zentralen Ort aller Anbindungen an die Außenwelt. Aspekte wie Sicherheit, Kommunikation, Freizeit und Lebensstil werden stark mit dem Wohnumfeld verbunden. Der persönliche Kontakt mit den Menschen, die in der Umgebung wohnen, steht dadurch im Mittelpunkt. Die Kontaktaufnahme zu den Mitmenschen im Gemeindebau gestaltet sich durch die soziale Durchmischung immer schwieriger. Unterschiedliche Kulturen treffen aufeinander und Sprachbarrieren entstehen. Es kommt zu einer Verunsicherung und damit zu immer weniger Kontakt mit Personen, die neu in den Gemeindebau einziehen. Diese Faktoren beeinflussen das Sicherheitsempfinden und die damit einhergehende Lebensqualität der im Gemeindebau lebenden Menschen. Aufgrund unserer Forschungsarbeit ist uns eine Bedarfslücke in Bezug auf den ehemaligen Berufsstand der Hausbesorger*innen aufgefallen. Durch den Wegfall der Hausbesorger*innen ist eine wichtige Ressource im Gemeindebau verloren gegangen. Diese stellten eine Kontakt- und Vertrauensperson für die Bewohner*innen des Gemeindebaus dar. Sie sorgten außerdem für Sauberkeit und erhöhten das Gefühl der subjektiven Sicherheit. Unsere Arbeit soll einen ersten Anhaltspunkt für ein soziales Projekt legen, mit dessen Hilfe ältere Personen besser in die Gemeinschaft des Gemeindebaus integriert werden sollen. Um die Lebensqualität möglichst lange aufrecht zu erhalten, ist es wichtig, die Autonomie weitestgehend zu erhalten, jedoch auch bedarfsorientierte Angebote bereitzustellen und den Kontakt mit Menschen in der nahen Umgebung zu fördern. The Process of aging in municipality buildings Risks of exclusion of elderly people in municipality buildings This bachelor’s thesis takes a look at the living environment of elderly people who are living in municipality buildings - built by the Viennese community to provide low cost public housing - and on which problem statements are shown for these people. We want to show how to increase the subjective security and the inclusion of elderly people in the municipality buildings. The object of this thesis is to analyze and picture the social environment of elderly people. We focus on people who are suffering from dementia, because this group of people is often affected by exclusion in their social- and care-relationships. The result of our research shows, that elderly people nowadays stay longer in their flats and not like in the past days move to a residential home. Therefore, the flat has a significant importance and is the first place where the connection to the environment happens. The feeling of security, communication, activities and one’s own lifestyle is strongly linked with the living environment. Contact with the residents who are living next door is therefore the central point. Get in contact to neighbors in the municipality building is getting more and more difficult because of the social intermixture. Different cultures with different languages converge and language barriers occur. This leads to uncertainty and thereby the contact to people who are new in the municipality building, goes down. Subjective security and the attended quality of life are influenced by these elements. During our research we noticed a gap which came from the former profession of the so-called caretaker. The discontinuation of these caretakers led to a loss of an important capability in the municipality buildings. Caretakers were seen as a person to talk privately to, when needed. They also were responsible for keeping the stairways clean and their presence increased the feeling of subjective security. With this thesis we want to establish the idea of a social project supporting elderly people with dementia to be better integrated in the community of the municipality building. For keeping a high-level quality of life it’s important to obtain autonomy and to offer stable relationships to people in the environment and connections to psycho-social care and assistance.

Achieving the autonomous deployment of aerial robots in unknown outdoor environments using only onboard computation is a challenging task. In this study, we have developed a solution to demonstrate the feasibility of autonomously deploying drones in unknown outdoor environments, with the main capability of providing an obstacle map of the area of interest in a short period of time. We focus on use cases where no obstacle maps are available beforehand, for instance, in search and rescue scenarios, and on increasing the autonomy of drones in such situations. Our vision‐based mapping approach consists of two separate steps. First, the drone performs an overview flight at a safe altitude acquiring overlapping nadir images, while creating a high‐quality sparse map of the environment by using a state‐of‐the‐art photogrammetry method. Second, this map is georeferenced, densified by fitting a mesh model and converted into an Octomap obstacle map, which can be continuously updated while performing a task of interest near the ground or in the vicinity of objects. The generation of the overview obstacle map is performed in almost real time on the onboard computer of the drone, a map of size 100 m 75 × m is created in ≈2.75 min, therefore, with enough time remaining for the drone to execute other tasks inside the area of interest during the same flight. We evaluate quantitatively the accuracy of the acquired map and the characteristics of the planned trajectories. We further demonstrate experimentally the safe navigation of the drone in an area mapped with our proposed approach

Sulfatreduzierende Mikroorganismen (SRM) besitzen das dsrAB-Gen, welches für die Dissimilatorische (Bi-) Sulfit-Reduktase kodiert und sind deshalb in der Lage Sulfat zu Sulfid zu reduzieren. Dabei wird Sulfat als Elektronenakzeptor verwendet und so Energie für das Wachstum gewonnen. Obwohl SRM schon früh in der erdgeschichtlichen Entwicklung entstanden und ubiquitär verbreitet sind ist wenig über deren Häufigkeit und Aktivität in komplexen mikrobiellen Lebensgemeinschaften bekannt. Um SRM genauer zu erforschen wurde während dieser Arbeit ein habitatspezifischer Oligonukleotid-Array für die kultivierungsunabhängige Detektion und Funktionsanalyse ausgewählter SRM entwickelt und validiert. Der zugrunde liegende Sondensatz (146 Sonden) zur Detektion und Identifizierung der verschiedenen dsrAB-Gene (unterteilt in 42 OTU’s) basiert auf vergleichenden Sequenzanalysen der dsrAB-Gene aus einem sauren Niedermoor (Schlöppnerbrunnen, Bayern, Deutschland). Die Entwicklung des Mikroarrays beinhaltete verschiedene Optimierungsschritte während der Mikroarrayproduktion, Herstellung der fluoreszenzmarkierten Nukleinsäureproben, Evaluierung der Hybridisierungsbedingungen und der Validierung des Sondensatzes durch Hybridisierung mit geeigneter Referenz-RNS. Bei der anschließenden Evaluierung der dsrAB-Oligonukleotid-Sonden, durch Hybridisierung mit fluoreszenzmarkierten dsrAB-Genamplifikaten geeigneter Referenzklone, zeigten 99.8% ein erwartetes Hybridisierungsverhalten. Bei der Hybridisierung von nur 1 ng Ziel-RNS war es möglich die RNS mit den korrespondierenden Sonden positiv nachzuweisen, ohne das Auftreten von Falschpositiven- oder Falschnegativen-Hybridisierungsergebnissen. Des Weiteren konnte gezeigt werden, dass bei der Hybridisierung von einer 0.54% Ziel-RNS/Nicht-Ziel-RNS Mischung die Ziel-RNS noch mit allen spezifischen Sonden detektiert werden konnte. So ist es mit Hilfe dieses Mikroarrays möglich SRM im Habitat Schlöppnerbrunnen hoch auflösend binnen 48 h inklusive aller experimentellen Arbeiten zu detektieren.
