ChatGPT and generative artificial intelligence (Gen-AI) are transforming firms and supply chains. However, the empirical literature reporting the benefits, challenges, and outlook of these nascent technologies in operations and supply chain management (OSCM) is limited. This study surveys current projects and perceptions of these technologies in US (n = 119) and UK (n = 181) supply chains. We found that projects range from proof-of-concept to full implementation, with a main focus on operational gains, such as improved customer satisfaction, cost minimisation, and process efficiencies. The main challenges concern data, technological and organisational issues. Expected benefits are dominated by cost savings and enhanced customer experience, but also include increased automation and sustainability. Industries were found to cluster around six groups according to perceived benefits and implementation challenges. Our findings contribute to the emerging literature on Gen-AI use in OSCM, and to management practice by mapping the benefits, challenges, outlook, and maturity level of Gen-AI projects in supply chains. The practice of information technology (IT) in academic libraries is changing rapidly, not only with new and evolving developments in the technologies themselves but also with the organization and management of IT at both the library and institution levels. This study presents the results of an online survey of Association of Research Libraries (ARL) academic library members to identify the biggest challenges they perceive in the area of information technology organization and management. (1) Background: A significant proportion of cancer survivors report experiencing a cognitive fog that affects their ability to think coherently and quickly, and reason with clarity. This has been referred to as cancer-related cognitive impairment (CRCI). CRCI has extensive impacts on the daily lives of people living with or beyond cancer, including occupational, social, and psychological functioning. Oncology health professionals report feeling under-resourced to effectively assess the needs of an individual with CRCI and then provide optimal care and referral. (2) Methods: The objective of this project is to develop and provide an initial validation of the first purpose-built unmet needs assessment for CRCI: the Unmet Needs Assessment of Cancer-Related Cognitive Impairment Impact (COG-IMPACT). We will use a multiple-stage, co-design, mixed-methods approach to develop and provide an initial validation of the COG-IMPACT. (3) Results: The primary anticipated result of this research is the production of the COG-IMPACT, the first purpose-built unmet needs assessment for CRCI. The assessment could be used by health professionals to understand the unmet needs and facilitate optimal care and referral for cancer survivors, by survivors to elucidate their supportive needs and advocate for their care, and by researchers to examine the correlates of unmet needs relating to CRCI, as well as how best to support people with CRCI.

BackgroundSmartphone apps may provide an opportunity to deliver mental health resources and interventions in a scalable and cost-effective manner. However, young people from marginalized and underserved groups face numerous and unique challenges to accessing, engaging with, and benefiting from these apps.ObjectiveThis study aims to better understand the acceptability (ie, perceived usefulness and satisfaction with an app) and feasibility (ie, the extent to which an app was successfully used) of mental health apps for underserved young people. A secondary aim was to establish whether adaptations can be made to increase the accessibility and inclusivity of apps for these groups.MethodsWe conducted 2 sequential studies, consisting of a systematic literature review of mental health apps for underserved populations followed by a qualitative study with underserved young male participants (n=20; age: mean 19). Following the PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses) guidelines, an electronic search of 5 databases was conducted in 2021. The search yielded 18,687 results, of which 14 articles met the eligibility criteria.ResultsThe included studies comprised a range of groups, including those affected by homelessness, having physical health conditions, living in low- and middle-income countries, and those with sexual and gender minority identities. Establishing and maintaining user engagement was a pervasive challenge across mental health apps and populations, and dropout was a reported problem among nearly all the included studies. Positive subjective reports of usability, satisfaction, and acceptability were insufficient to determine users' objective engagement.ConclusionsDespite the significant amount of funding directed to the development of mental health apps, juxtaposed with only limited empirical evidence to support their effectiveness, few apps have been deliberately developed or adapted to meet the heterogeneous needs of marginalized and underserved young people. Before mental health apps are scaled up, a greater understanding is needed of the types of services that more at-risk young people and those in limited-resource settings prefer (eg, standard vs digital) followed by more rigorous and consistent demonstrations of acceptability, effectiveness, and cost-effectiveness. Adopting an iterative participatory approach by involving young people in the development and evaluation process is an essential step in enhancing the adoption of any intervention, including apps, in "real-world" settings and will support future implementation and sustainability efforts to ensure that marginalized and underserved groups are reached.Trial registrationPROSPERO CRD42021254241; https://www.crd.york.ac.uk/prospero/display_record.php?RecordID=254241.

Climate change has rapidly altered marine ecosystems and is expected to continue to push systems and species beyond historical baselines into novel conditions. Projecting responses of organisms and populations to these novel environmental conditions often requires extrapolations beyond observed conditions, challenging the predictive limits of statistical modeling capabilities. Bioenergetics modeling provides the mechanistic basis for projecting climate change effects on marine living resources in novel conditions, has a long history of development, and has been applied widely to fish and other taxa. We provide our perspective on 4 opportunities that will advance the ability of bioenergetics-based models to depict changes in the productivity and distribution of fishes and other marine organisms, leading to more robust projections of climate impacts. These are (1) improved depiction of bioenergetics processes to derive realistic individual-level response(s) to complex changes in environmental conditions, (2) innovations in scaling individual-level bioenergetics to project responses at the population and food web levels, (3) more realistic coupling between spatial dynamics and bioenergetics to better represent the local- to regional-scale differences in the effects of climate change on the spatial distributions of organisms, and (4) innovations in model validation to ensure that the next generation of bioenergetics-based models can be used with known and sufficient confidence. Our focus on specific opportunities will enable critical advancements in bioenergetics modeling and position the modeling community to make more accurate and robust projections of the effects of climate change on individuals, populations, food webs, and ecosystems.

Urban big-system library systems have undergone seismic change over the past 20 years, becoming community centers in addition to repositories of information. As a result, contemporary library staff are facing new needs and challenges that their predecessors did not. Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate teacher and students' perspectives on their experiences within three consecutive hybrid sport education and cooperative learning pedagogical model units. Method: Fifty elementary school students (Mage = 10.52; SDage = 0.39) and a 36-year-old male teacher participated in three consecutive hybrid cooperative learning/sport education units (24 lessons). Semistructured interviews were conducted to gather data and gain a rich, insiders' perspective of their experiences. Results: Three main themes (including several subthemes) were generated from the data analysis: students' enthusiasm and involvement (autonomy support, motivation, and engagement); students' learning (technical–tactical learning, cooperative skills, and social learning); and teacher challenges. Conclusions: Findings from the current study showed that a teacher's use of three consecutive hybrid sport education/cooperative learning pedagogical model units promoted a learning environment where students were involved in authentic sport experiences that fostered the development of students' learning across all domains. The purpose of this study was to provide a deeper understanding of the challenges early childhood intervention practitioners faced and their commitment to work. Data suggested that participants struggled to manage their roles and responsibilities, the lack of time, resources, and professional support, and growing workloads. In the face of these challenges; however, the majority of the early intervention practitioners reported being ‘very committed’ to their work with children with disabilities. Working long hours, always seeking ways to improve their practice, and keeping themselves abreast of new information and evidence‐based interventions were mentioned as proof of their commitment. This article concludes that as the provision of early intervention services to support early childhood inclusion becomes more prevalent, it is critical that researchers work to identify effective service delivery models and under‐used resources, including the work commitment of the teaching professionals. Interviews explored current chronic pain management practices, influencing factors and recommendations for improvement. Data saturation occurred after interviewing 11 participants. Thematic analysis was used through a socio-ecological model.The challenges to optimal pain management include appropriate assessment and management of psychological health (intrapersonal level), substance abuse amongst patients (intrapersonal level), access to medication for providers and lack of knowledge by providers (interpersonal and organizational level). Summary: As a consequence of continuing demand for additional capacity and higher quality data transmission, channel coding as a key component of a digital communication network has progressed from a classical single pair, point‐to‐point information theoretic application to a class of coding techniques with diverse parameters. The heterogeneous requirements of B5G/6G networks technology have made flexibility of code parameters the main desired feature while designing channel codes. Owing to this, channel coding techniques have evolved to support enabling applications that depend on different factors such as latency, reliability, energy efficiency and throughput. We review and discuss the application of new techniques, modifications in the design and construction of modern channel coding schemes, including block, convolutional, rateless and space‐time codes. Further, the error correction performance of mainstream channel decoders for LDPC, polar and turbo codes is compared and analysed for their attainable error rate. The aim of this study is to highlight the adaptability of the discussed coding schemes for the forthcoming cellular network landscape. This article also addresses the implementational challenges of high throughput, low latency and machine type communication scenarios. Moreover, some recent studies exploring the role of machine learning for optimisation of B5G/6G networks are classified and discussed. With the utilization of the mineral resources of the international seabed area entering a new phase of exploitation, the international community’s concern for the protection of the marine environment in the international seabed area has also reached an unprecedented level. Regional Environmental Management Plans (REMPs), formulated by the International Seabed Authority (ISA), are considered as an important component of marine environmental protection in the deep seabed. However, REMPs are faced with challenges in practice under the background of deep-sea mining. In this work, we review the historical evolution of REMP, sort out the challenges faced by REMP from NWP to global and provide our suggestions to solve these issues. Specifically, the difficulties in the Northwest Pacific (NWP) REMP are mainly located in the lack of environmental scientific data. Meanwhile, from a global perspective, besides difficulties in local region, such as NWP, REMPs are facing more challenges, such as the arguments about the legal force of REMPs, conflicts between REMPs and the BBNJ Agreement, as well as absence of regulations for balancing exploitation and conservation. Focus on these challenges, suggestions are proposed including using the ISA to coordinate the application between REMPs and BBNJ Agreement and using the principle of scientific evidence to improve the regulations of REMPs. This work not only introduces a new insight for improving the framework system for the protection of the marine environment in the international seabed area, but also provides a reference for the solution to new challenges in the field of marine environmental protection. Multiple object tracking (MOT), as a typical application scenario of computer vision, has attracted significant attention from both academic and industrial communities. With its rapid development, MOT has becomes an hot topic. However, maintaining robust MOT in complex scenarios still faces significant challenges, such as irregular motion patterns, similar appearances, and frequent occlusions. Based on an extensive investigation into the state-of-the-art MOT, this survey has made the following efforts: 1) listing down preceding MOT approaches and current classifications; 2) surveying the MOT metrics and benchmark databases; 3) evaluating the MOT approaches frequently employed; 4) discussing the main challenges for MOT; and 5) putting forward potential directions for the development of future MOT approaches. By doing so, it strives to provide a systematic and comprehensive overview of existing MOT methods from SDE to TBA perspectives, thereby promoting further research into this emerging and important field. Teachers in the new normal underline the numerous challenges that educators face while moving to remote teaching and learning methodologies. This study shows that teachers are greatly affected by overwhelming paperwork and in making developmental plans for their students' needs, especially in this new normal. The purpose of this study is to determine the experiences of the teachers during the COVID-19 pandemic and to perceive a tailored strategic plan for transitioning blended learning for the full face-to-face classes for the teachers. It focuses on understanding and making initiatives towards teachers' development and enhancement of management in the field of teaching. The researcher utilized a purposive sampling procedure in choosing participants of the study who were teaching in DepEd Sta. Catalina National High School. A total of 35 teachers were selected to take part in the study. The study utilized modified Colaizzi's seven-step method (2018) for data analysis. Three (3) major themes emerged from the analysis: (1) The Captured Threat; (2) The Compromised Assessment; and (3) The Call for New Modalities. It is concluded that despite all the difficulties that teachers face, basic education teachers are resilient, especially in teaching and learning in the new normal. When delivering lessons during the pandemic, the teachers turned their weaknesses into opportunities. However, it is recommended that teachers should have seminars and training that can augment the contemporary trends and changes in the educational realm making them ready to face any challenges. Background and objectives: Medical students experience different types of challenges during their MD program, which become more challenging when it comes to the internship, putting too much pressure on them. This study aimed to explore the challenges of medical interns of Shiraz University of Medical Sciences (SUMS), Shiraz, Iran. Methods: In this qualitative research, which was conducted from September 2023 March 2024, medical interns of SUMS were selected using purposeful sampling method. The data were collected through deep and semi-structured interviews, and it was continued until data saturation was achieved. The data analysis was performed through thematic content analysis. Results: A total of 13 participants (6 men and 7 women) with a mean ± SD age of 25 ± 1.6 years were interviewed. The challenges of medical interns consisted of 423 meaning units, 79 open codes, 14 subthemes, and 6 main themes; the main themes consisted of educational challenges, challenges following university regulations, health and behavioral issues, economic/employment-related issues, sociocultural and recreational challenges, and ethical issues. Conclusion: The results of this study highlight the necessity for reforms in the medical internship phase aiming to tackle interns' issues and establish a supportive and nurturing environment for future medical doctors. Librarians across the country are experiencing unprecedented acts of censorship. This study examines the recommendations from librarians on handling censorship and information that librarians wished was commonplace for public understanding. Essential oils (EOs) hold therapeutic potential, but their conventional delivery systems have some limitations. This review focuses on the critical review and discussion of research related to EO delivery systems. The review also explores how molecular imprinting technologies (MIT) can advance EO delivery. MIT offer several techniques, namely covalent, non-covalent, and semi-covalent imprinting, creating targeted cavities that selectively bind and release EOs. These approaches promise significant advantages including increased selectivity, controlled release, and protection from environmental degradation. However, some challenges related to the stability and biocompatibility of MIPs remain unsolved. Integrating nanotechnology through methods like nanoparticle imprinting and some lithographic techniques seems promising to overcome these limitations. Some recently established models and systems used for EO-related research are paving the way for a more efficient and targeted EO delivery approach to harnessing the therapeutic power of EOs. We reflect on our fieldwork experience from the Climate Heat Maternal and Neonatal Health Africa (CHAMNHA) project in Kilifi, Kenya, which focused on studying the effects of extreme heat on women during pregnancy, delivery and the post-partum period. We describe the ethical and practical challenges encountered, highlighting valuable lessons learned. We propose potential solutions to address issues concerning the reciprocity of vulnerable participants and the provision of childcare and food for accompanying children. Further, we address challenges related to engaging specific participants, interview cancellations attributed to extreme temperatures and discuss the perpetuation of inequalities by ethics and academic institutions. With the anticipated increase in research at the intersection of climate change–induced heat exposure and its impacts on human populations, research institutions and ethics committees in low- and middle-income countries are responsible for instituting guidelines that account for the risks for the subjects under study and the field researchers. Background: Young-onset dementia (YOD) refers to dementia occurring before the age of 65, with Alzheimer's disease being the most common form, posing distinct challenges for spousal caregivers. Objective: This study aims to investigate the unique experiences of spousal caregivers of persons with YOD in China, where dementia-specific community care services and primary healthcare professionals are relatively lacking, in order to inform the tailored support services development. Methods: This qualitative-design study utilized semi-structured interviews with 11 spousal caregivers of persons with YOD dwelling in the community. Traditional content analysis was employed to analyze the interview data. Results: Limited dementia-specific healthcare professionals and low public awareness made diagnosing and accepting YOD a prolonged and challenging journey. Spousal caregivers faced skepticism when seeking diagnosis, exacerbating their burden and emotional stress. Disparities in healthcare professionals and insufficient collaboration between institutions worsened the situation. YOD significantly impacted family dynamics and led to changes in emotional communication within the family. The stigma surrounding YOD raised concerns among spousal caregivers about their children's future in marriage and career, emphasizing genetic risks. Conclusions: In settings where dementia-specific community care services and primary healthcare professionals are limited and unevenly distributed, integrating support services at both the primary and community levels is crucial for families dealing with YOD in the community. Additionally, raising public awareness about YOD can foster a more understanding and supportive environment, addressing challenges related to stigma faced by affected families, contributing to increased investment in supporting resources, and encouraging individuals to seek help early on. The purpose of this study was to investigate stories of life's greatest challenge among men in late adulthood from a narrative and developmental perspective. The investigations focused on narrative processes and the content of challenge narratives in relation to satisfaction with life and generativity. Narrative processes were analyzed using existing frameworks (Eriksson et al. Identity 20:157–169, 2020). The study showed negative, neutral/vague, redemptive, and a combination of positive and negative emotional sequences, among which negative sequencing was the most common. An additional narrative theme, metareflections of challenges as part of life, involved the conclusion that hardship is simply part of what one may expect from life. Analyses of types of challenges revealed six categories and a secondary coding the adversity of the challenges. In contrast to expectations, redemptive sequencing was not associated with either higher satisfaction with life or generativity. The few differences that emerged in the subsequent analyses showed that participants whose challenges were coded as not expected and potentially disruptive had significantly lower satisfaction with life and lower mean age when the challenge occurred. In conclusion, the study demonstrated the saliency of the challenges' timing and adversity. Negative framing was common in the challenge narratives of the men in late adulthood, without being negatively associated with satisfaction with life or generativity. The role of negative emotional sequencing in this study adds new perspectives to the emphasis on redemption and positive emotionality for well-being and generativity in later adulthood. The adoption of community policing was expected to bring a paradigm shift in preventing crime and disorder. However, regardless of the practice of community policing as a strategy to maintain public security, the programme faces several challenges that hinder its proper implementation. The purpose of this article is to examine the challenges of community policing implementation in Harar City, Ethiopia. This article employed a qualitative research approach with a grounded theory design. The article used both primary and secondary data sources and the study participants were selected using a purposive sampling technique. Data was collected using key informant interviewees, focus group discussions, non-participant observation, and document analysis. The thematic analysis method was applied during the data analysis process. The study revealed that conceptual and practical, institutional, infrastructural challenges and political constraints derived from the community, the police organisation, and the government agencies limit the successful practices of community policing for maintaining public security in the study area. It is, therefore, recommended that the community, police organisation, government agencies, and other stakeholders have to coordinate and collaborate to alleviate or at least minimise the challenges of community-based policing in Harar City. Following the collapse of the Delahoyde and Lucett joint enterprise, James Lucett resumed practice on his own account. He continued to implement his 'process', promoting it as a unique cure for intractable cases of insanity. For two decades he pursued his activities, with varying success, at different locations in the London area. He maintained his public profile by extensive advertising, letters to newspapers and published pamphlets, extolling his unique 'discovery' and recounting claims of successful cures achieved. Accusations of quackery persisted along with other hostile criticism, particularly from medical men, which Lucett strongly challenged. Background: This article gives the pediatric anesthesia perspective from Cameroon, Nigeria, Ghana, Liberia, and Gambia, five out of six countries in Anglophone West Africa. Over 40% of the population of most of these countries are younger than 14 years and there is an increasing need for paediatric anesthesia services. Findings: Workforce density ranges from 0.08 to 0.58 physician anesthesia providers per 100,000 population. There are only 13 trained pediatric anesthetists; ratios range from 0 to 0.4 per 100,000 children, thus pediatric anesthesia services are provided by various cadres of physician and non‐physician anesthesia providers. Physician anesthesia training is mostly carried out by the West African College of Surgeons as well as national postgraduate colleges. Pediatric anesthesia services are provided in tertiary (teaching), secondary (general), district, faith‐based, military, private hospitals and through surgical missions. Challenges include lack of trained personnel, high morbidity from late presentation to health facilities and financial constraints, lack of health insurance for pediatric anesthesia services, unavailability of appropriate equipment and consumables, a narrow range of medications, very few pediatric‐specific operating theaters, and inadequate critical care services. Solutions: The lack of opportunities for sub‐specialty training in pediatric anesthesia in West Africa is currently being addressed in Nigeria and Ghana. Non‐governmental agencies fund programs and courses related to pediatric anesthesia and have also provided fully equipped operating theaters. Advocacy for pediatric anesthesia can be achieved through the National Surgical Obstetric Anesthesia and Nursing Plans Implementation Committee of the various countries. There is an urgent need for prioritization of health in the budgets of Anglophone West African countries and governments must deliberately provide support for anesthesia and surgical services. Large Language Models (LLMs), based on their highly developed ability to comprehend and generate human-like text, promise to revolutionize all aspects of society. These LLMs facilitate complex language understanding, translation, content generation, and problem-solving, enabled by vast historical data processing and fine-tuning. Throughout the past year, with the initial release of ChatGPT to the public, many papers have appeared on how to exploit LLMs for the ways we operate and interact with intelligent transportation systems. In this study, we review more than 130 papers on the subject and group them according to their major contributions into the following five categories: autonomous driving, safety, tourism, traffic, and others. Based on the aggregated proposals and findings in the extant literature, this paper concludes with a set of challenges and research recommendations, hopefully contributing to guide research in this young, yet extremely active research domain. Large language models, e.g., Chat Generative Pre-Trained Transformer (also known as ChatGPT), are currently contributing enormously to making artificial intelligence even more popular, especially among the general population. However, such chatbot models were developed as tools to support natural language communication between humans. Problematically, it is very much a "statistical correlation machine" (correlation instead of causality), and there are indeed ethical concerns associated with the use of AI language models including ChatGPT, such as bias, privacy, and abuse. This paper highlights specific ethical concerns about ChatGPT and articulates key challenges when ChatGPT is used in various applications. Practical recommendations for different stakeholders of ChatGPT are also proposed that can serve as checklist guidelines for those applying ChatGPT in their applications. A geographic information system (GIS) is a tool and technology capable of addressing the effects and challenges of natural disasters, particularly flash floods. GIS applications are used to generate flood risk maps to tackle flood issues. However, various challenges and problems arise when employing GIS to manage flash flood disasters in Shah Alam, Malaysia. Hence, this study aims to identify these challenges and gaps in GIS utilisation by Malaysian agencies for flash flood management in Shah Alam. Using the quadruple helix model technique, informal interviews were conducted as part of the study's qualitative methodology. Five respondents were chosen from each of the four main sectors for primary data collection: government, academia, business, and community/NGO. The data were analysed using Taguette qualitative theme analysis. The findings reveal that the primary challenges lie in government management, particularly in providing equipment and access to GIS for all stakeholders, including the public. This challenge is attributed to the high costs and complexity associated with GIS data usage, limiting accessibility. Furthermore, there is a lack of expertise and research on GIS in Malaysian universities concerning flash flood management. The government should take proactive steps to improve flash flood management in Shah Alam, Malaysia, in order to solve these issues. Specifically, GIS training should be given to stakeholders, particularly those in the government and academic sectors, in order to develop GIS specialists who will be necessary for efficient flood management in Malaysia. This paper explores the current status of bio-based insulation materials (BbIMs) integration in Europe, through structured online questionnaires. with industry experts. The findings show that the main common difficulties are obtaining European Conformity (CE) marking, high costs, a skills gap, a lack of trained builders, and slow acceptance from industry decision-makers. On the other hand, the main common opportunities are the gradual improvement with certain supportive policies and incentives, the growing environmental awareness, thermal, acoustic, and environmental performance, long-term cost savings and value, and increasing educational initiatives, advertising, and awareness campaigns. The finding also emphasizes the critical role that users and buyers play in the adoption of these materials as a potential driver and barrier. The professionals suggest strengthening environmentally friendly standards, integrating natural materials into construction databases, leading by example, withdrawing subsidies for hazardous waste disposal, providing continuing education, workshops, collaboration among stakeholders, and referencing exemplary projects in France. Further insights on bio-based building materials integration in building information modeling (BIM) practices indicate that the rate of their integration is very low. This research contributes to the scientific literature on BbIMs, by highlighting the barriers to the widespread use of these materials in practice and promoting the drivers of their widespread use. Future research should address more insights from other uncovered countries and the countries with limited insight (The Netherlands, Switzerland, and Portugal) in the current study as well as End-users' perceptions. The life of people born in Dalit families is more challenging than others and the challenges upturn manifold if a downtrodden seek a livelihood in the field of entrepreneurship. Although, entrepreneurship is a risky affair for everyone it discommodes the Dalit community more. The paucity of societal support and resources, and above all lower caste label makes it highly troublesome for Dalit to cross the threshold of entrepreneurship and stay therein. Government and a few other organizations assure to provide all possible facilities and assistance to the Dalit aspirants through diverse schemes but many times these assurances are found outlying from reality. This empirical research article aims to provide qualitative insight into the previously published articles, research papers, and reports allied to the challenges of Dalit entrepreneurship. The thematic analysis technique has been applied for literature review using NVivo Software. The upshots of the study clearly depict that Dalit entrepreneurs are frequently confronted with severe difficulties, particularly due to the unfair conduct of various stakeholders. This research study will make a considerable contribution to the Dalit literature and outcomes will assist the policymakers to enhance the efficiency of entrepreneurial schemes to the expected level. The exploration of green energy is a demanding issue due to climate change and ecology. Green energy hydrogen is gaining importance in the area of alternative energy sources. Many methods are being explored for this but most of them are utilizing other sources of energy to produce hydrogen. Therefore, these approaches are not economic and acceptable at the industrial level. Sunlight and nuclear radiation as free or low-cost energy sources to split water for hydrogen. These methods are gaining importance in recent times. Therefore, attempts are made to explore the latest updates in direct radiation water-splitting methods of hydrogen production. This article discusses the advances made in green hydrogen production by water splitting using visible and UV radiations as these are freely available in the solar spectrum. Besides, water splitting by gamma radiation (a low-cost energy source) is also reviewed. Efforts are also made to describe the water-splitting mechanism in photo- and gamma-mediated water splitting. The FinTech market globally is emerging as an alternative to the traditional cash-driven economy. Although most of the population has adapted to the innovation that has taken place in the financial services sector, a substantial proportion of the population remains unbanked. It has a shallow awareness of the financial products and services available. Banks, financial service providers, investment advisers and business houses are attempting to adopt new technologies in collaboration with FinTech companies. Understanding consumer adoption and their experience of new technologies can help FinTech service providers integrate ideas and deliver seamless offerings. This article employs a systematic literature review of a total of 111 publications from 2016 to 2023 on the consumer adoption/acceptance of FinTech products and services. It identifies seven research clusters from the extant literature to note the trends in adoption and enlist the challenges faced by the usage of FinTech along with emerging trends in attention. The study used VOSviewer to provide the results of keyword analysis, world distribution and linkages of selected publications. The article explored the acceptance and reception of financial innovation in the past eight years as per the identified clusters which was shown by the increase in the number of publication's chart. It also contributes to the field by mentioning the benefits that have been reaped across industries and sectors with the adoption of FinTech by discussing the participation of authors in various clusters in detail. Plastic pyrolysis technology, as an efficient and stable path for chemical recycling of waste plastics, alleviates current energy pressures and solves the problem of continuous accumulation of waste plastics in the environment. At present, the vast majority of research on plastic pyrolysis is focused on how to improve the yield and quality of liquid fuels, while there is generally little research on the gases generated by plastic pyrolysis. However, gases such as H2, CH4, and light hydrocarbons generated during pyrolysis also have high utilization value, and have very considerable application prospects in chemical, aerospace, and metallurgical fields. In addition, compared with the separation difficulties of liquid products, the treatment of gas products is easier and more conducive to subsequent utilization. This article discusses and analyzes the yield and composition of gases generated by plastic in three different pyrolysis methods: direct pyrolysis, catalytic pyrolysis, and microwave pyrolysis. Compared to traditional direct pyrolysis, catalytic pyrolysis and microwave pyrolysis can treat plastic waste more efficiently and energy-efficient, and have higher gas yields. This article also discusses various factors such as temperature that influence the formation of gas products and their importance. The significance of artificial intelligence (AI) trustworthiness lies in its potential impacts on society. AI revolutionizes various industries and improves social life, but it also brings ethical harm. However, the challenging factors of AI trustworthiness are still being debated. This research explores the challenging factors and their priorities to be considered in the software process improvement (SPI) manifesto for developing a trustworthy AI system. The multivocal literature review (MLR) and questionnaire‐based survey approaches are used to identify the challenging factors from state‐of‐the‐art literature and industry. Prioritization based taxonomy of the challenges is developed, which reveals that lack of responsible and accountable ethical AI leaders, lack of ethics audits, moral deskilling & debility, lack of inclusivity in AI multistakeholder governance, and lack of scale training programs to sensitize the workforce on ethical issues are the top‐ranked challenging factors to be considered in SPI manifesto. This study's findings suggest revising AI‐based development techniques and strategies, particularly focusing on trustworthiness. Mobile robot navigation has been a very popular topic of practice among researchers since a while. With the goal of enhancing the autonomy in mobile robot navigation, numerous algorithms (traditional AI-based, swarm intelligence-based, self-learning-based) have been built and implemented independently, and also in blended manners. Nevertheless, the problem of efficient autonomous robot navigation persists in multiple degrees due to the limitation of these algorithms. The lack of knowledge on the implemented techniques and their shortcomings act as a hindrance to further development on this topic. This is why an extensive study on the previously implemented algorithms, their applicability, their weaknesses as well as their potential needs to be conducted in order to assess how to improve mobile robot navigation performance. In this review paper, a comprehensive review of mobile robot navigation algorithms has been conducted. The findings suggest that, even though the self-learning algorithms require huge amounts of training data and have the possibility of learning erroneous behavior, they possess huge potential to overcome challenges rarely addressed by the other traditional algorithms. The findings also insinuate that in the domain of machine learning-based algorithms, integration of knowledge representation with a neuro-symbolic approach has the capacity to improve the accuracy and performance of self-robot navigation training by a significant margin. Objectives: This scoping review presents an overview of the available research on symptoms, comorbidities, and associated challenges among older adults with ADHD. Method: The literature study followed Arksey and O'Malley's five-stage framework. The search was conducted in ProQuest Central, Scopus, PsycInfo, CINAHL, and PubMed. Articles were included if they were peer-reviewed, ethically approved primary studies, written in the English language, concerning ADHD, and including people 60 years of age and older. Results: The review included 17 articles. Symptoms of ADHD persist throughout life. Older adults with ADHD experience similar core symptoms as younger individuals, but their manifestation and intensity may differ. The most common comorbidity found was mental illness, for example depression and anxiety. ADHD in older adults is linked to several challenges, such as difficulty with relationships and social isolation. Conclusion: Older adults with ADHD face various symptoms, comorbidities, and challenges that affect their quality of life. Age-related changes can amplify ADHD symptoms and increase the perceived burden of illness. More research is needed to understand the complex relationship between these factors and enable tailored interventions to improve their quality of life and well-being. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

AbstractThe fight against Glioblastoma multiforme (GBM) is ongoing and the long-term outlook for GBM remains challenging due to low prognosis but every breakthrough brings us closer to improving patient outcomes. Significant hurdles in GBM are heterogeneity, fortified tumor location, and blood-brain barrier (BBB), hindering adequate drug concentrations within functioning brain regions, thus leading to low survival rates. The nasal passageway has become an appealing location to commence the course of cancer therapy. Utilization of the nose-to-brain (N2B) route for drug delivery takes a sidestep from the BBB to allow therapeutics to directly access the central nervous system (CNS) and enhance drug localization in the vicinity of the tumor. This comprehensive review provides insights into pertinent anatomy and cellular organization of the nasal cavity, present-day diagnostic tools, intracranial invasive therapies, and advancements in intranasal (IN) therapies in GBM models for better clinical outcomes. Also, this review highlights groundbreaking carriers and delivery techniques that could revolutionize GBM management such as biomimetics, image guiding-drug delivery, and photodynamic and photothermal therapies for GBM management.
