Background: The number of citations a paper receives reflects its impact on the scientific community. We aimed to identify and explore the characteristics of the most cited papers on total anomalous pulmonary venous connection (TAPVC). Methods: Web of Science Core Collection Expanded Science Citation Index (1900 to present) was searched and papers on TAPVC were reviewed. Articles were ranked by the number of citations and the 100 most cited papers were analyzed. Results: The 100 most cited papers were published between 1952 and 2018 with a mean number of citations of 52 (range 26 to 148). The 1990s was the most productive decade. All articles except one were written in English. The 100 most cited articles were published in 24 journals, led by Journal of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery (21 articles), followed by Annals of Thoracic Surgery (20 articles), and Circulation (16 articles). The United States of America contributed most of the 100 most cited papers (60 articles). Hospital for Sick Children, Toronto led the list of citation classics with six papers. Christopher A. Caldarone, John W. Kirklin, and P. E. F. Daubeney were the most productive authors with 3 articles each. More than half of the papers were cohort studies (51 articles). Surgery, radiology and etiology were the main topics. Thirty-one articles were funded by public foundations, and none received support from commercial companies. The invention of the printing press in the 15th century revolutionized the way books were produced, making access to learning possible for anyone. In the 19th century, the library became an essential part of psychiatric institutions. Bibliotherapy is developed, which uses books to help people overcome certain problems. The reality offered by digital technology has opened a new era in the history of reading, fundamentally changing the way we read. The progress in communication technology in the 20th century leads to the emergence of the electronic book, thus information is made available online to the reader in a huge virtual library. Augmented reality is discovered, which manages to combine the two mediums, traditional and online, this being an interactive version of a real-world environment, achieved through digital visual elements, using holographic technology. Thanks to the images that come to life, involving more senses, the reader can reach a better understanding of the content. When access and availability are considered priorities, there is no doubt that electronic books are preferred, even though they cause fatigue and eye irritation. The physical book, on the other hand, is remarkably durable, does not need power or internet, can be edited in several editions, and continues to be valuable. In recent years, the demand for paper copies has become increasingly high, generating more than 150 billion dollars in revenue. Thus we ask ourselves the question regarding the survival of the printed book. The answer is, perhaps, surprising, but in an age of digital saturation, the traditional book has made a spectacular comeback in recent years, remaining, it seems, the preferred reading medium of true bibliomaniacs. The impact of COVID‐19 has underlined the need for reliable information to guide clinical practice and policy. This urgency has to be balanced against disruption to journal handling capacity and the continued need to ensure scientific rigour. We examined the reporting quality of highly disseminated COVID‐19 research papers using a bibliometric analysis examining reporting quality and risk of bias (RoB) amongst 250 top scoring Altmetric Attention Score (AAS) COVID‐19 research papers between January and April 2020. Method‐specific RoB tools were used to assess quality. After exclusions, 84 studies from 44 journals were included. Forty‐three (51%) were case series/studies, and only one was an randomized controlled trial. Most authors were from institutions based in China (n = 44, 52%). The median AAS and impact factor was 2015 (interquartile range [IQR] 1,105–4,051.5) and 12.8 (IQR 5–44.2) respectively. Nine studies (11%) utilized a formal reporting framework, 62 (74%) included a funding statement, and 41 (49%) were at high RoB. This review of the most widely disseminated COVID‐19 studies highlights a preponderance of low‐quality case series with few research papers adhering to good standards of reporting. • A text-content based approach that can reveal the scholarly impact of papers without human domain-specific knowledge. • Modeling a paper's characteristic by leveraging the spatial relations in the representation space. • The simulations based on regression model could reproduce the process of scholarly impact generation. • Introducing the large-scale Pre-Trained Model to address a classical problem in bibliometrics. Citation and citation-based metrics are traditionally used to quantify the scholarly impact of scientific papers. However, for documents without citation data, i.e., newly published papers, the citation-based metrics are not available. By leveraging deep representation techniques, we propose a text-content based approach that may reveal the scholarly impact of papers without human domain-specific knowledge. Specifically, a large-scale Pre-Trained Model (PTM) with 110 million parameters is utilized to automatically encode the paper into the vector representation. Two indicators, τ (Topicality) and σ (Originality) , are then proposed based on the learned representations. These two indicators leverage the spatial relations of paper representations in the semantic space to capture the impact-related characteristics of a scientific paper. Extensive experiments have been conducted on a COVID-19 open research dataset with 1,056,660 papers. The experimental results demonstrate that the deep representation learning method can better capture the scientific content in the published literature; and the proposed indicators are positively and significantly associated with a paper's potential scholarly impact. In the multivariate regression analysis for the potential impact of a paper, the coefficients of σ and τ are 5.4915 (P < 0.001) and 6.6879 (P < 0.001) for next 6 months prediction, 12.9964 (P < 0.001) and 13.8678 (P < 0.001) for next 12 months prediction. Introduction: In recent years, graph neural network has been extensively applied to drug discovery research. Although researchers have made significant progress in this field, there is less research on bibliometrics. The purpose of this study is to conduct a comprehensive bibliometric analysis of graph neural network applications in drug discovery in order to identify current research hotspots and trends, as well as serve as a reference for future research. Methods: Publications from 2017 to 2023 about the application of graph neural network in drug discovery were collected from the Web of Science Core Collection. Bibliometrix, VOSviewer, and Citespace were mainly used for bibliometric studies. Results and Discussion: In this paper, a total of 652 papers from 48 countries/regions were included. Research interest in this field is continuously increasing. China and the United States have a significant advantage in terms of funding, the number of publications, and collaborations with other institutions and countries. Although some cooperation networks have been formed in this field, extensive worldwide cooperation still needs to be strengthened. The results of the keyword analysis clarified that graph neural network has primarily been applied to drugtarget interaction, drug repurposing, and drug-drug interaction, while graph convolutional neural network and its related optimization methods are currently the core algorithms in this field. Data availability and ethical supervision, balancing computing resources, and developing novel graph neural network models with better interpretability are the key technical issues currently faced. This paper analyzes the current state, hot spots, and trends of graph neural network applications in drug discovery through bibliometric approaches, as well as the current issues and challenges in this field. The poor people segment has gained considerable scholarly attention, particularly after eight scholars established it as an untapped market. This study attempts to understand the nine consumption behaviours of a poor consumer. Therefore, we collate 384 scholarly papers indexed in the Scopus database, published during the period 1975–2020. Both evaluative and bibliometric relationship techniques, namely, Biblioshiny and VOSviewer, are utilized to understand the domain's progress in the past 45 years. Besides this, content analysis is conducted via hand search to identify the most utilized research methods, popularly applied theories and most explored contexts. Results show that research in this field has grown exponentially, particularly after 2007, with research focusing on low-income consumers, bottom-of-pyramid consumers and mobile money users. Purpose: This paper aims to trace the contours of Islamic political economy (IPE) for last four decades with the help of bibliometric analysis. This method does not focus on in-depth literature. However, it reviews more material content of the published papers in the field, generally including the number of publications, authors, title, H-Index and authors' affiliation. Design/methodology/approach: The authors use biblioshiny by R in conducting bibliometric analysis. Based on the results of analysis, the authors only found 39 relevant documents to the topic with the help of keyword of "Islamic political economy". The authors analyse the data and visualize it into bibliometric images for the convenience of the readers. Findings: There are 39 documents on IPE in the annual scientific production. The year 1980 had the lowest productivity at 3% while the year 2007 showed an increase in scientific productivity by 13%. The most significant increase in production occurred between 2014 and 2015 by 8%, while the most significant decline occurred between 2007 and 2008 by 10%. The most significant contributors are Akan, T., Choudhury, M.A. and Asutay, M. According to the Corresponding Author's Country, the UK has eight articles on IPE. Humanomics is the most influential Journal, with six documents. Research limitations/implications: This research only examines documents sourced from Web of Science and Scopus under the title "Islamic political economy" and does not include articles from other sources. This research has implications for future researchers and suggests a shift in recent research on IPE towards exploring current realities and expanding beyond traditional economic and political aspects. The goal is to gain a comprehensive understanding of Islam's role in shaping economic and political systems, promoting inclusive sustainable development and social justice, and exploring its relationship with broader political and economic systems. Originality/value: IPE has become a trendy topic in the early days, the second half of the 20th century, during the revival of the Islamic mode of finance and development. However, with time, the discussion on this topic appeared less in scientific and academic publications; this issue needs an overview of how far this discipline has evolved. This work aims to identify future research trends in this area. This paper presents a bibliometric systematic review on model-based learning analytics (MbLA), which enable coupling between teachers and intelligent systems to support the learning process. This is achieved through systems that make their models of student learning and instruction transparent to teachers. We use bibliometric network analysis and topic modelling to explore the synergies between the related research groups and the main research topics considered in the 42 reviewed papers. Network analysis depicts an early stage community, made up of several research groups, mainly from the fields of learning analytics and intelligent tutoring systems, which have had little explicit and implicit collaboration but do share a common core literature. Th resulting topics from the topic modelling can be grouped into the ones related to teacher practices, such as awareness and reflection, learning orchestration, or assessment frameworks, and the ones related to the technology used to open up the models to teachers, such as dashboards or adaptive learning architectures. Moreover, results show that research in MbLA has taken an individualistic approach to student learning and instruction, neglecting social aspects and elements of collaborative learning. To advance research in MbLA, future research should focus on hybrid teacher–AI approaches that foster the partnership between teachers and technology to support the learning process, involve teachers in the development cycle from an early stage, and follow an interdisciplinary approach. In recent years, there has been an increasing amount of research on single mothers internationally. This article analyzes 1543 research papers on single mothers from Web of Science database using Cite-Space literature analysis software. The study found that research on single mothers covers 79 countries globally, forming a close and comprehensive cooperative network between them. The North American region, including the United States and Canada, is a core research force in the field of single mothers. The top 15 research institutions produced more than 30 papers each, with the University of California System ranking first with a total of 72 papers. The journal with the most publications was the Journal of Marriage and Family, with a total of 44 papers. There were 8 authors who published more than 10 papers, with Herbst CM having the most with 16 papers. The frequency of citations for research on single mothers has shown a significant increasing trend in recent years, with a total of 36,624 citations, an average of 23.74 citations per paper, and an h-index of 83. Through the analysis of clustering networks and high-frequency keywords, the research hotspot on single mothers mainly focuses on four aspects: the psychological health of single mothers, the economic and employment status of single mothers, the children of single mothers, and the social support of single mothers. The Multi-skilled Resource Constrained Project Scheduling Problem (MS-RCPSP) is a complex and multi-faceted problem that involves scheduling activities whilst considering various resource constraints. These constraints include limited availability of workers, equipment, and materials, with each activity requiring a minimal set of skills to be executed. Furthermore, for a better resemblance to reality, workers/machines are assumed to be multi-skilled/multi-purpose posing another dimension of complexity to the problem. The objective is to minimize project duration, cost, or other relevant criteria while accounting for the inherent resources flexibility. This paper provides a systematic review of the literature pertaining to MS-RCPSP, and an in-depth analysis of 171 papers published between 2000 and 2021 inclusive. The conducted bibliometric analysis identifies the top contributing authors, most influential papers, existing research tendencies, and thematic research topics within the field. In addition, this review highlights different aspects of the MS-RCPSP, spanning the significance of performance measures, solution approaches, application areas, and the incorporation of time constraints. While project completion time, cost, and tardiness are common performance indicators, other measures such as multi-skilled staff assignment and schedule robustness are also deemed important. Although various methods have been employed to solve the MS-RCPSP including exact and approximate approaches, the selection of the most-suited approach depends on the problem's scale, complexity, and constraints, necessitating careful consideration of each method's strengths and weaknesses. Interestingly, several studies have jointly addressed resource and time constraints in the context of MS-RCPSP, often considering tardiness, and have proposed different algorithms, models, and metaheuristics to tackle these challenges. This paper clearly highlights research gaps and promising avenues for future research. Purpose: This study provides a bibliometric analysis of bank efficiency and competition over the past years (from 1993 to 2022) to (1) discover the past and current state of knowledge on bank competition and efficiency, (2) identify leading and authoritative journals and scholars who made significant contributions to the distribution of knowledge and impact, (3) identify nations that made a significant contribution and impact to the literature and (4) identify the structure of collaboration that exists between scholars in the areas of bank competition and efficiency and key thematic areas. Design/methodology/approach: A total number of 868 documents made up of articles, reviews, book chapters, book and conference papers from the Scopus database were gathered. This study used a bibliometric analytic approach. Findings: The number of documents on bank competitiveness and efficiency has increased significantly, as have their total publications, citations and national output. Additionally, the most esteemed and prestigious academic journals of eminent academics who have had a significant impact on the dissemination of knowledge on bank efficiency and competition literature champion papers on banking efficiency and competition. In terms of citation performance and collaborative efforts, the United States tops the developed countries, led by China, which is also the most productive. Additionally, single-country publications predominate in the literature, with China ranking first among the top five countries with corresponding authors. While the Lerner index, H-statistic, concentration index and market power were used to measure bank competitive behaviour, the data envelopment analysis approach predominates efficiency estimation techniques that are linked to cost, profit or revenue, scale, technical and productivity indexes. Originality/value: This study is one of the first to offer bibliometric evidence of both bank competition and efficiency. The significance of family business in global economic development is well recognized in literature. As a result, numerous academic works on this topic have been published in prestigious journals, highlighting the importance of studying the development and evolution of family businesses. In this regard, the present study conducts a bibliometric analysis of the literature on family businesses to reveal research trends and provide guidance for researchers. The analysis encompasses all papers published in Scopus between 2002 and 2021. The findings of this study demonstrate several noteworthy contributions. Firstly, there has been a substantial increase in the volume of publications focusing on family businesses, indicating a growing interest in this area of research. Secondly, the majority of contributions originate from the United States, highlighting the country's prominence in the study of family businesses. Thirdly, the study identifies Astrachan J. H. and Danes S. M. as the most influential authors in the field, recognizing their significant contributions. Fourthly, it determines that the most influential journal in this domain is the Family Business Review, which underscores its importance as a platform for scholarly discourse. Lastly, the study highlights a highly cited paper titled 'An Overview of the Field of Family Business Studies: Current Status and Directions for the Future,' authored by Sharma P., which provides a comprehensive understanding of the subject. A major admissions reform was carried out in Finnish higher education at the end of the last decade. This paper focuses on three main policy papers connected to the reform and examines the use and production of evidence therein. Drawing on bibliometric research and research on educational policy, we aim to provide insight into how to utilize citation analysis when examining evidence in educational policymaking. In the three policy papers, domestic legislature was cited the most frequently, and research from higher education institutions was cited the least. Affirmational citations were the most prominent; perfunctory, assumptive, conceptual, persuasive, contrastive, and negational citations were found to a lesser extent. When cross-examined in relation to citation types, sources were mostly cited as affirmational, with the exception of research from higher education institutions, which was cited as conceptual information. We also found that the writers cited their own previously written ministry-affiliated policy brief as central information in one of the policy papers connected to the reform. Our study is in line with the earlier literature showing that certain sources, such as domestic publications, are favoured over others. Background: Aesthetics medicine, a controversial branch of clinical medicine known for its high degree of commercialization, faces numerous conflicts, particularly in some developing countries. The global aesthetics medicine industry requires enhancements of its legal and supervision framework and risk management systems. Aims: This paper aimed to provide a comprehensive visual analysis of academic achievements related to regulatory and legal issues in the field of aesthetic medicine and to identify its development trends and research hotspots. Methods: The Web of Science Core Collection was employed to retrieve relevant studies, resulting in a total of 602 research articles after selection. Utilizing bibliometric methods and CiteSpace, this study analyzed the primary countries, institutions, authors, journals, hotspots, frontiers, and trends in this domain. Results: The findings indicated rapid increases in the number of published papers. The United States emerged as the leading contributor with 131 research papers and the highest intermediate centrality. Eleven keyword clusters were identified, with "adolescence" and "office‐based surgery" being the most recent topics. We also analyzed the trends and frontiers of legal research in medical aesthetics. Conclusion: The importance of informed consent has been increasingly emphasized, and research in the field of medical aesthetics has been gradually expanding beyond individual cosmetic procedures. The management system has become more comprehensive, moreover, guidelines and medical laws have been continually published, with research shifting toward a holistic perspective that encompasses patients, medical aesthetic providers, and regulatory authorities in the study of medical aesthetics regulation and legislation. The pandemic time was a special period when the medical administration, governments, health-care payers were overwhelmed by the public medicine priorities and therefore the "unnecessary" surgery or medical care was postponed. Purpose: Academic contention occurs when research evidence is amenable to more than one interpretation. China has a long tradition of Shang Que (商榷), in which authors argue for their preferred interpretation. The modern form of this tradition is the Shang Que article, which often takes the form of research papers in Chinese-language journals and which tends to be question-oriented. Shang Que articles usually take the views of a particular author or article as the focus of independent and complete criticism by another, independent, academic. This paper explains the role of Shang Que articles in Chinese scholarship and their influence on international academia. Design/methodology/approach: A bibliometric analysis was used to explore the characteristics and evolution of Chinese Shang Que articles using 30,577 articles published between 1979 and 2018. Microsoft Excel and Gephi were used for data analysis and visualization. Findings: Findings suggest a decline in the number of Shang Que articles and an increase in the number of co-authors. Shang Que articles remained particularly prominent in Philosophy and Humanities and Social Sciences, where they focused on local issues such as classical Chinese, the Sinicization of Marxism and Chinese literature. This suggests that the number of Shang Que articles is related to the degree of internationalization of a research field. Originality/value: Shang Que articles, which have been influenced by academic paradigms in English, are a fusion of China's Shang Que tradition and of the modern academic system. Purpose: The increasing number of papers on zakah shows that it has become an important research topic. However, few studies attempt to analyze the evolution of zakah studies which might be helpful as guidance for policymakers in creating zakah management systems and policies, for zakah management organizations administering zakah funds, for future research on related subjects and for academic actors to construct a zakah study curriculum. This study aims to conduct a bibliometric analysis of the evolution of zakah theme publications from 1964 to 2021. Design/methodology/approach: This study uses bibliometric analysis to analyze the evolution of zakah research. This study compared all Scopus-indexed journal papers to Zakah publications regarding research flow, themes, abstracts and titles. The relationships between researchers, the titles of the papers and keywords associated with "zakah" are analyzed in these publications published between 1964 and 2021. A total of 632 scientific contributions were discovered using RStudio and VOSviewer to analyze the bibliometric metadata. Findings: Based on the results, the theme of zakah has evolved from 1964 to 2021. The author emphasizes the zakah publication theme. Each affiliation and country have its conditions, management method, data sources and characteristics. The theme "zakah institutions and zakah collecting" grew in popularity between 2010 and 2021 and is projected to grow in the following years. Malaysia, Indonesia and Pakistan can be used as zakah development research models. In spans of zakah publications, the author with the most global citations is Wahab N.A., and the author with the most productive is Saad Raj. Research limitations/implications: Zakah publications are analyzed using the Scopus database. This study applied only Scopus index data, excluding non-Scopus, and most studies conducted in non-English languages. This conclusion indicates the issue's importance among academic researchers and practitioners, notably on the subject of zakah. Thus, a comprehensive picture of zakah theme publications assists researchers and zakah fund institutions in making assessments, focusing on the unstudied fraction of the zakah theme. Practical implications: This research is planned to serve as a reference for future research, particularly examining the theme's novelty. It is intended to have implications for policymakers, particularly zakah institutions, regarding funding the several zakah research issues and concentrations. Social implications: This research can guide future researchers and is expected to include parameters such as author, year and data source while analyzing zakah publications to generate new findings. Originality/value: This is probably one of few comprehensive studies that examined the evolution of the zakah theme using the Scopus-indexed database. The relevance of this paper is to provide suggestions and projections for future zakah research. Scholars should examine zakah publications by author, year and data source to gain fresh insights. Background Bibliometrics refer to documents and citation-based measures that measure different aspects of performance of a journal, including impact, output and prestige. Objective The aim of this study was to collect bibliometric data of various Indian dermatology journals as well as Indian journals from other disciplines, in order to compare relative performances. Methods Journal metrics pertaining to various Indian journals, both from dermatology [Indian Journal of Dermatology, Venereology and Leprology (IJDVL), Indian Journal of Dermatology (IJD), Indian Dermatology Online Journal, Indian Journal of Pediatric Dermatology and International Journal of Trichology] and other disciplines [Indian Journal of Medical Research (IJMR), Indian Journal of Pediatrics (IJP), Indian Journal of Ophthalmology and Indian Journal of Pharmacology] were sought. Data pertaining to the following 8 metrics during the year 2021 was collected: Journal Impact factor, SCImago Journal Rank, h5-index, Eigenfactor score and normalized Eigenfactor Score, Journal Citation Indicator, Scimago Journal and Country Rank H-index, CiteScore and Source Normalized Impact per Paper. Results Among Indian dermatology journals, for the year 2021, IJDVL had the highest impact factor (2.217) and h-index (48). IJD led in terms of prestige metrics such as SCImago Journal Rank (0.403), Eigenfactor score (0.00231) and Source Normalized Impact per Paper (1.132). IJDVL underperformed with respect to an average dermatology journal on all three prestige metrics. Among selected journals from other disciplines, two (IJMR and IJP) had impact factor exceeding five, despite lagging behind IJDVL two years ago. Most had normalized scores exceeding 1, indicating better performance than an average journal from their respective fields. A rise in IJDVL influence is evident over the past decade, as evident by various metrics. The popularity of minimally invasive surgery for lumbar spinal stenosis (LSS) has been steadily increasing worldwide. This study aims to conduct a comprehensive bibliometric analysis to identify global trends and hotspots in the research related to this surgical approach.Methods: Select articles related to the field that were retrieved from the Web of Science Core Collection (WoSCC) between January 1, 1993 and December 31, 2022. Visualization of networks and in-depth bibliometric analyses, including the number of publications, countries/regions, institutions, journals, authors, keywords, and references, were conducted using VOSviewer and CiteSpace software.Results: A total of 1197 papers were identified over a three-decade period, with the highest production year being 2022, which saw 171 papers published. The most prolific countries/regions were the United States (279) and Harvard Medical School (59). Among journals, Spine (3289 citations) was the most cited, while World Neurosurgery (98 publications) had the highest number of publications. Lewandrowski, Kai-Uwe (29 publications) wrote the most articles, and Ahn, Y (239 citations) ranked first among cited authors. The most frequently used keyword was "discectomy", but recent years have shown a strong emergence of keywords such as "microendoscopic decompressive laminotomy", "foraminotomy" and "classification".Conclusion: The United States and China have emerged as leaders in the field of minimally invasive surgery for LSS. Endoscopic spinal surgery is recognized as a critical approach, with ongoing research focused on indications, potential complications, minimally invasive anatomical approaches, and outcomes. Framing of the research. Artificial intelligence (AI) is transforming the way organisations manage human resources, injecting new capabilities into human resource management (HRM). There is a pressing need to examine new and more effective approaches to human resource development (HRD). Purpose of the paper. This paper aims to shed light on current knowledge of AI in the HRD domain, developing a comprehensive view of its role in the employee's journey. Methodology. Keyword co-occurrence analysis and bibliographic coupling analysis were performed on a total of 151 papers published between 2002 and 2022. A similarity visualisation programme (VOSviewer) was used to showcase the results visually. Results. The findings highlight the top five authors, sources, papers, and institutions in terms of the prolificacy of contributions in the field. The relevant contribution of this study is the identification and classification of the main topics and research streams in the academic literature. Five main bibliographic clusters are identified, unveiling the five most prominent topics in the field: i) AI in HR and contextual factors; ii) AI in education and future skills; iii) AI Coaching with chatbots; iv) AI in HR recruitment and training; v) AI in soft skills development. Research limitations. It should be acknowledged that the findings are rooted in one database, Scopus, and only publications in English were considered. Managerial implications. We offer three theoretical and institutional implications for advancing further research on AI in HRD. Furthermore, we outline six major takeaways and future lines of research stemming from our findings, resulting in a novel framework that can also be of practical interest to companies. Purpose: This study aims to holistically explore the academic literature on female leaders to identify the key topics and dynamics of the field. Design/methodology/approach: The authors systematically review 532 papers to explore the research on female leaders; based on objective and replicable criteria, the authors identify relevant papers and thus ensure the quality of the analysis. The bibliometric analysis and visualization support us in recognizing trends in this topic. Findings: This study outlines the state of the art over the past decade by synthesizing theoretical contexts and critically discussing the main streams of research on sustainability, firm outcomes and barriers preventing women from reaching the upper echelons. The authors also explore empirical issues and highlight areas that entail new paths for future scholars. Practical implications: The research provides novel evidence of the attempt internationally to increase female participation at the top of the firm hierarchy by analyzing firm outcomes, sustainability and the constraints faced by women in achieving these careers. The concept of 'place-making' emerged in media studies in 2015, but to date, there has been little theoretical engagement with the term. The primary research question this scoping review answers is how is 'place-making' defined across disciplines and which methodologies have been applied to creative and digital projects? A bibliometric analysis of 1974 publications from Web of Science (published in the last 30 years) were analysed to (1) define 'place-making' across disciplines, (2) model common themes in scholarship, (3) identify the methodologies used and (4) understand the impacts on citizens. The results show that 'place-making' first appeared in geography/urban studies in 1960s, was then adopted as 'creative placemaking' in the creative industries, and in the past 5 years (since 2015), it has appeared as 'digital placemaking' in media studies. The increasing popularity of the Bayesian approach in Psychology has prompted metascientific efforts to quantify its prevalence. However, despite enduring debates between proponents of Frequentist and Bayesian schools of thought, no systematic comparison of their prominence has been conducted in existing literature. This brief report fills this gap, examining Bayesian and Frequentist trends in the period from 1964 to 2023 through a meticulous search in PsycINFO. The findings reveal that the Frequentist approach has consistently been more popular than the Bayesian approach in the realm of Psychometrics and Statistical Psychology. However, Bayesian contributions steadily increased from the 80's onward and appear to be almost as important or even surpassing the Frequentist counterparts in the latest years investigated (2019–2023). Although this observation applies primarily to specialized literature rather than the entire domain of Psychology, it underscores the growing prevalence of the Bayesian approach, signaling attention among specialists in the field. Many researchers have studied the factors that impact on students' entrepreneurial intention; however, findings are conflicting. The present study attempts, through an extensive review of the literature, to provide a holistic view and deeper knowledge of the most significant factors that influence university students' decisions to be self-employed or to start a business. A systematic review as well as a bibliometric analysis of the literature was implemented, using a three-step literature mapping protocol to search, select, evaluate, and validate the literature by examining and analyzing numerous papers from the scientific community. The process ended up with 677 papers, from which the forty-three most cited were used as our research sample. Findings revealed that there are four primary categories of factors: the contextual factors, such as the economic, social, and political environment, the motivational factors, such as individuals' personal needs, personality traits, and characteristics, and the factors related with the personal background of individuals such as family, education, and peers. We also examined the countries with the maximum number of papers on university students' entrepreneurial intentions. These findings can be useful for policy makers and educators and will serve as a basis for future research, while they also contribute to the literature by highlighting the factors that most affect the entrepreneurial intention of university students. A bibliometric analysis is conducted for a scientific paper in Scopus databases about phenomenon-based learning, focusing on studies related to the use of phenomenon-based learning (PhenoBL) in learning at elementary, secondary, and higher education. The research purposes were 1) To analyze the results of bibliometric mapping visualization on research trends in phenomenon-based learning and its contribution to science learning. 2) To analyze author collaboration on research trends in phenomenon-based learning. 3) Recommendations for future phenomenon-based learning in science learning. In this research, the descriptive method is applied with a bibliometric approach. As much as 324 data were obtained through the Scopus databases published from 2012 to 2021. The study was carried out using R studio and the Bibliometrix R package. The results showed that phenomenon-based learning made a significant contribution to learning in elementary, secondary, and higher education. Drylands are vast and face threats from climate change and human activities. Traditional reviews cannot capture interdisciplinary knowledge, but bibliometric analysis provides valuable insights. Our study conducted bibliometric research of scientific production on climate change and land degradation in drylands using remote sensing. We examined 1527 Scopus-indexed publications to identify geographic and thematic hotspots, extracting leading authors, journals, and institutions. China leads in publications, followed by the US, Germany, and Australia. The US has the highest citation count. Collaboration networks involve the US, China, and European countries. There has been an exponential increase in remote sensing of land degradation in drylands (RSLDD) publications since 2011. Key journals include "International Journal of Remote Sensing" and "Remote Sensing of Environment". The analysis highlights the growing interest in the field, driven by Australia, the US, and China. In most biomedical research paper corpus, document classification is a crucial task. Even due to the global epidemic, it is a crucial task for researchers across a variety of fields to figure out the relevant scientific research papers accurately and quickly from a flood of biomedical research papers. It can also assist learners or researchers in assigning a research paper to an appropriate category and also help to find the relevant research paper within a very short time. A biomedical document classifier needs to be designed differently to go beyond a "general" text classifier because it's not dependent only on the text itself (i.e. on titles and abstracts) but can also utilize other information like entities extracted using some medical taxonomies or bibliometric data. The main objective of this research was to find out the type of information or features and representation method creates influence the biomedical document classification task. For this reason, we run several experiments on conventional text classification methods with different kinds of features extracted from the titles, abstracts, and bibliometric data. These procedures include data cleaning, feature engineering, and multi-class classification. Eleven different variants of input data tables were created and analyzed using ten machine learning algorithms. We also evaluate the data efficiency and interpretability of these models as essential features of any biomedical research paper classification system for handling specifically the COVID-19 related health crisis. Our major findings are that TF-IDF representations outperform the entity extraction methods and the abstract itself provides sufficient information for correct classification. Out of the used machine learning algorithms, the best performance over various forms of document representation was achieved by Random Forest and Neural Network (BERT). Improvements in and the assessment of land use efficiency are crucial pillars for achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This study reviews 208 representative papers, oral reports, and project reports to provide a systematic and comprehensive understanding of the current status and future trends of research on land use efficiency assessment. The findings reveal that (1) the number of papers on land use efficiency assessment is rapidly increasing, with research primarily focused on environmental science and ecology (n = 157, 75.48%). (2) Quantitative models are gaining popularity for land use efficiency assessment, with more than 46.63% of the studies adopting the data envelopment analysis (DEA) model. (3) The definition and analysis perspectives of land use efficiency are diverse, but research on relative land use efficiency and comprehensive analysis perspectives accounts for a significant proportion. (4) Constructing a large and complex model that incorporates geospatial effects, big data, and computer technology is a hot topic for future research methods. The aim of this paper is to identify the most significant studies and authors, as well as outline the distribution and effects of publications in the field of Asset-Liability Management (ALM) between 1983 and 2023, using bibliometric analysis. The data was extracted from the Scopus database for the period 1983-2023. A total of 488 documents were derived using VOSviewer and Biblioshiny software. The results show that the most productive journal is Insurance: Mathematics and Economics, the most cited author is Li D, and the United States is the top country with the highest level of collaboration in ALM research. Moreover, to know the current trend, a thematic map of keywords is analyzed using Biblioshiny R package and the co-occurrence of keywords using VOSviewer software. Background: Perineal pain is a painful neuropathic condition, which does not have a standard diagnostic or treatment approach. As such, we sought to evaluate the global scientific output of research into perineal pain and explore trends from 1981 to 2021 using bibliometric methods. Methods: Articles on perineal pain were retrieved from the Web of Science (WoS) database. We analyzed the content and quality of publications from within the specified timeframe. We also utilized VOSviewer to mine and cluster data from retrieved articles. Results: A total of 1917 articles were collected. The number of related papers published increased year by year. Articles were most frequently published by authors in the United States and France. Although the US remains at the center of this field, publications from China have become more frequent in recent years. We also found that French academic institutions dominate the field of perineal pain, and Jean-Jacques Labat from Nantes Universite is the most published author in the field. "Episiotomy", "pain", "management", "prostatectomy", "pelvic pain", and "complication" were frequently cited as keywords. Purpose: This research sought to document the volume, development trend and geographical distribution of the research on teacher autonomy, identify high-impact journals, authors and documents and reveal the intellectual structure of the field. Design/methodology/approach: This paper analyzed the articles published on the related subject in the Web of Science (WoS) and/or Scopus. Based on certain exclusion criteria, analyses were conducted on a total of 259 articles. The data were then subjected to descriptive analyses and bibliometric analyses. Findings: The review found that the teacher autonomy knowledge base has grown dramatically since 2004. In the co-citation analysis, it was determined that four clusters focused on the themes of professionalism and professional development, leadership and self-efficacy, autonomy in language teaching and learning and self-determination theory. According to the co-word analysis in this review, the most co-occurring keywords were revealed to be "teacher autonomy," "autonomy," "teachers," "teacher professionalism" and "professional development." Originality/value: Despite increasing numbers of systematic reviews focusing on educational administration and leadership, this paper represents the first bibliometric review conducted to reveal the development of research on teacher autonomy using both the WoS and Scopus databases. This research provides a complete bibliometric analysis of scholarly publications on civic engagement in public decision-making between 2014 and 2024. Using the PRISMA methodology, the study reduced a corpus of 208 papers to 136 for further examination. The study examines how educational research enables citizens to participate in public decision-making. The data demonstrate an increasing trend in research that focuses on incorporating civic engagement activities into educational curricula. One major finding emphasizes the positive impact of civic engagements initiatives on instilling civic duty and decision-making in pupils. This increases the chance of future community involvement and informed voting. The study also identifies a gap in research on effective strategies for reaching underserved communities. The visibility of non-heterosexual identities is more prevalent today than ever before, yet there is little research about the consumption behaviors and preferences of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, transsexual, queer, 2/two-spirit, questioning, intersex, asexual, ally, and other non-heterosexual (LGBTQ+) consumers—often referred to as the "pink pound". A rare systematic review of LGBTQ+ literature is presented in this paper with the purpose of offering an argument for a wider adoption by marketing scholars and practitioners for research into LGBTQ+ consumer segments. The results of a longitudinal bibliometric analysis are presented to objectively demonstrate the hitherto limited engagement that consumer researchers have had with the discipline, and the limited degree that the discipline has influenced that literature. The key findings reveal a growing, but formative body of inter- and intra-disciplinary literature that, hitherto, has only just begun to be addressed by present day marketing researchers. A conclusion of the paper is that although the bibliometric analysis identifies the limited engagement with LGBTQ+ consumer research, this limited engagement appears to present a very significant lacuna and just as significant an opportunity for both marketing scholars and practitioners to engage much further with this literature in the future. Background: Dysphagia is a common complication of stroke that can result in serious consequences. In recent years, more and more papers on post-stroke dysphagia have been published in various journals. However, there is still a lack of bibliometric analysis of post-stroke dysphagia. This study visually analyzes the global research situation of post-stroke dysphagia from 2013 to 2022, aiming to explore the current research status, frontier trends, and research hotspots in this field. Methods: Articles and reviews relevant to post-stroke dysphagia were obtained and retrieved from the Web of Science core collection database in the last 10 years (from 2013 to 2022). CiteSpace and Microsoft Excel 2019 were used for bibliographic analysis. Results: A total of 1,447 articles were included in the analysis. The number of publications showed an overall upward trend, from 72 in 2013 to 262 in 2022. The most influential authors, institutions, journals, and countries were Hamdy S, University of London, Dysphagia, and the People's Republic of China. An analysis of keywords and the literature indicated that current studies in the field of poststroke dysphagia focused on dysphagia and aspiration, dysphagia classification, dysphagia rehabilitation, and daily living. Conclusion: This bibliometric analysis reveals the latest advancements and emerging trends in the field of post-stroke dysphagia, spanning the years 2013 to 2022. It highlights the paramount importance of conducting large-scale randomized controlled trials examining the efficacy of dysphagia screening protocols and non-invasive intervention techniques in improving the quality of life for these patients. Purpose: To examine the development of research into the relationship between business process outsourcing (BPO) and innovation, a bibliometric methodology utilizing quantitative analytical methodologies was used. With the aid of a visualization analysis of scientific publications, this study also assessed the state of BPO and innovation practices. Design/methodology/approach: Using the Web of Science database, articles on BPO and innovation that published between 1992 and 2022 were retrieved. Records that had been extracted were examined in terms of publication year, nation, journal, subject area, authors and affiliations with organizations. The research on acupuncture for pain relief was visualized using the VOSviewer application. Findings: An analysis of 219 original and review papers found that during the past 30 years, the overall number of publications has fluctuated constantly. The London University, the Copenhagen Business School and the London School of Economics were the institutions that produced the most articles in this topic. The three main categories of research that emerged from a network analysis based on the co-occurrence of keywords are innovation, outsourcing and performance. Practical implications: A BP-innovation model must be created, and BPO must go beyond operational duties to incorporate management-wide shared strategic decisions in order to ensure improved performance of the firms. BPO enables a company's management to share knowledge and expertise about the strategic difficulties of outsourcing. A variety of technological and non-technological resources must also be considered when integrating an information technology (IT) infrastructure into BPO decisions in order to achieve greater performance. Originality/value: Validity of the paper can be justified by it contribution to the existing knowledge. First, linking BPO and innovation – by integrating the arguments of various academics, the study unifies the disparate components and contentious discussions in the relationship between BPO and innovation. Utilizing bibliometric analysis, this study identifies academic gaps, research trends, and data pertaining to student entrepreneurial activities. The authors conducted a qualitative analysis of 984 selected studies from the Google Scholar database. Data that have been analyzed include trends in publishing years, the number of papers published, the number of citations, and frequently used keywords in research on students' intentions to start their own enterprises from 2007 to 2022. Background: Prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA)-targeted imaging and therapy have significantly changed the management of patients with prostate cancer (PCa) at different disease stages. This advancement has attracted the attention of scholars, leading to a prolific output of scholarly publications. This study comprehensively outlines the knowledge framework associated with PSMA-based diagnosis and treatment of PCa through the application of bibliometric analysis, and discusses the potential research trends and foci. Methods: Articles and reviews related to PSMA for prostate cancer from 2003 to 2022 were retrieved from Web of Science Core Collection. VOSviewer, Citespace, and R-bibliometrix were primarily employed to execute and visually represent co-authorship, co-citation, and co-occurrence analysis of countries, institutions, authors, references and keywords in this field. Results: A total of 3830 papers were included. The papers on the field of PSMA-based PCa therapy and imaging had been continuously increased since 2003, but the rate has slowed from 2020. The United States made the largest contribution in this field, in terms of publications 997 (26.03%), H-index (110) and total citations (53,167 times). We identified the most productive institution were Technical University of Munich, and Australian institutions had become very active in recent years. Journal of Nuclear Medicine was the most prominent journal in this field. Professors Matthias Eiber and Martin G Pomper made great achievements, while Ali Afshar-Oromieh was the most co-cited author. According to the result of keywords and topics analysis, "ga-68 labeled psma ligand", "radiation dosimetry" and "HBED-CC" were major research areas in the near future, while "Extended pelvic lymph node dissection" was considered to be the future research foci.
