Paresthetic nostalgia is a little-known neuropathy that causes chronic itching in the back. It mainly affects middle-aged women and can have a significant impact on quality of life. Although its origin is unknown, it is believed to be either radicular or peripheral. Treatment includes topical and systemic medications, as well as physiotherapeutic procedures. Although it cannot be completely cured, symptoms can be controlled and improve the patient's quality of life. [Extracted from the article]
