Abstract
- The article presents information related to skin problems in diabetes. It is estimated that 30% of diabetics will have some skin-related problem at some stage of their illness. The most serious conditions are those related to a combination of three factors: microvascular disease, dry skin and the common neuropathy. Information on the diagnosis and management of some commonly seen conditions are presented including corns and callus, ulceration and necrobiosis lipoidica.
