Technical and vocational education and training (TVET) faces a number of challenges, including technological and societal changes, exemplified by changes in demography, rapidly changing labour markets, persistent social inequalities and conflict. These changes require people to possess skills that are adaptable to the changing nature of work and to new emerging jobs. At the same time, serious concerns about climate change, environmental degradation and scarcity of resources place great pressure on TVET to develop skills and competencies that pave the way towards a green economy and society. There are different views and needs associated with "Greening Technical and Vocational Education and Training" (GTVEt). From 12 to 26 November 2013, 185 participants from 65 countries intensely discussed this topic during the two-week virtual conference "GTVET--Qualifications needs and implementation strategies", held on UNESCO-UNEVOC's e-Forum. The objective was to gather knowledge, experience and ideas to identify the need for further action and support in both practice and theory. The focus was placed on occupational qualification needs for GTVET, including curriculum development and implementation strategies. The online discussion followed four threads, tackling the following issues: (1) Qualifications needs; (2) Curriculum development; (3) Implementation strategies; and (4) Communication and support. Each thread is summarized in section 3 of this report. In addition to the discussions on the e-Forum, a live WebEx session was held, where ten e-Forum members discussed the challenges of implementing and developing GTVET. The most important results of this live session are also included in the summary of the four main discussion threads. All main findings and promising practices that emerged during the virtual conference are summarized in the report, including replies to the welcome message and closing message. In addition, a summary of the presentation on GTVET in Tanzania, which was prepared for the WebEx video conference, is attached as an annex to this report. Conclusions concerning the need for further action have been drawn and a number of outstanding issues are also illustrated. The paper is devoted to the study of issues of greening urban construction and environmental standardization of housing facilities. Based on a comparative review of foreign and Russian practice in the development and application of environmental standards, the scale of the spread and regulation of sustainable (green) construction in Russia and abroad was determined; the shortcomings of the regulatory and legal framework for urban environmental construction were revealed using the example of the Rostov region; the problems of the slow development of green construction in Russia were highlighted. As a result of the study, development factors have been identified and methods have been proposed to achieve an accelerated increase in the volume of green building in the Russian Federation. Green construction is one of the most pressing global trends that have come to the architectural and construction industry over the past decade. Today, construction is one of the main activities that have a detrimental effect on the environment, and it is necessary to talk about the urgent need for scientific substantiation and practical implementation of environmental solutions during construction. Higher education institutions play a central role in shaping labor skills and green culture essential in the future low-carbon economy. This paper examines the impact of green education policies in the higher education sector on the business cycle and compares them to standard incentives to encourage green production at the firm level. For our purpose, we set up a Dynamic Stochastic General Equilibrium model extended to account for the endogenous selection of green and traditional human capital and heterogeneous households that differ in their ability to access labor markets and with different availabilities of human capital. We find that both academic and firm subsidy measures enable the greening of human capital. However, a green education stimulus is essential to increase the quality of green education and allow sustainable development in the long run. In contrast, firm-level green subsidies have a larger impact on short-term low-carbon productivity, as they mainly affect hiring and investment decisions. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The impact of human behavior on the environment has caused climate and ecosystem changes over the past half century. Addressing environmental challenges through social innovations (SI) initiatives aim to achieve impacts beyond individual levels for the benefit of the general public. That is why tourists' environmentally responsible behaviour (ERB) studies are becoming more relevant, including regions of the Republic of Latvia. The aim of the study is to develop a conceptual model of environmentally responsible behavior (ERB) of tourists for the regions of Latvia. The research used KMO and BARLETT'S, Cohen's Kappa and Cronbach's alpha tests, Exploratory Factor Analysis and Principal Components Analysis, descriptive and Pearson correlation method. Based on the analysis of scientific literature, researches and the results of the survey of 383 respondents, in this paper the concept of the tourist ERB model in Latvia was developed. Model approbation indicated a mathematically higher positive correlation for female respondents over male respondents in all of the research factors, except for connection with gross income per month, when factor experience had a strong negative correlation (r = - 0.790). The article discusses the environmental, economic and social benefits of sustainable development in the textile industry. Sustainable develop promotes responsible use space and natural resources, at the same time reduces the environmental effects of human activities. The practice saves operating costs and waste, as well as increases productivity and value of the company. The concept also minimizes pollution and overall environmental footprint. Sustainability improves employee morale and creates healthier work environments.

When aiming to study pro-environmental behavior (PEB) developments at the local municipal level in Latvia, there were two complementary studies employed: 1- main local stakeholder groups interviewing in two town municipalities to study their existing PEB practice, especially obstacles and related municipal governance instruments; 2- questionnaire for about 100 Eco-schools (EcoS) coordinators in Latvia to study schools existing PEB practice within school grounds, but especially their orientation towards and collaboration with local community and with the whole municipality towards PEB in the public environment. In spite of existing, at least basic, knowledge and even motivation (willingness) to act environmentally friendly, there are a range of obstacles, which could be classified in groups and, complementary, directly associated also with six classes of governance instruments to employ to overcome those obstacles - infrastructure instruments, economic-financial, communication ones, as well as administrative, planning, political and legal instruments. Even infrastructure and economic-financial obstacles are mentioned as dominating, they are not always limiting as often are the communication, particularly, psychological obstacles, what means that efficient and complementary development of various communication instruments as information and education, participation and PEB application/demonstration into practice can make a change, particularly when targeting main stakeholder groups selectively. This locally based PEB change could be importantly facilitated comparatively effectively by EcoS employing communication-psychological instruments, incl. PEB, as have been demonstrated by selected EcoS pro-community activities examples and their evaluations. Activities, projects and campaigns of EcoS and students' behavior also in their households are not only supporting formal environmental education, but also triggering often non-active municipal leaders and managers towards necessary change into EcoS immediate community, and more and more so impacting also whole municipal PEB. UNESCO-UNEVOC and UNESCO Regional Bureau, Beirut, in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, Lebanon (General Directorate for Vocational and Technical Education, GDVTE, and Center for Educational Research and Development, CERD), organized a three-day Regional Expert Meeting (Beirut, 19-21 November 2013) as a platform for networking and dialogue involving regional UNEVOC centres, TVET institutions, and other relevant stakeholders. It was the last of five regional follow-ups to the Shanghai Consensus on developing and sharing policy and Promising Practices on youth and skills and greening TVET. Attended by 35 TVET experts representing UNEVOC Centres, international, regional and national organizations, the three-day meeting provided participants the opportunity to share their experiences by highlighting success stories on the introduction of entrepreneurship education (EPE) and ICT in TVET in particular. Annexes include: (1) Agenda; (2) List of Participants; and (3) TVET and EPE Initiatives and Projects proposed by Working Groups.

Sustainability entrepreneurs are seen as key actors in facing contemporary structural problems and creating sustainable growth and wealth. They bring into being a new approach to business opportunities that resolves the dualistic divide between business ventures and altruistic endeavours, in favour of a new logic based on the creation of economic value beyond corporate boundaries while improving the social and ecological environments. Despite the recent surge of research interest on this topic, there remains a lack of understanding of the nature of this phenomenon. Therefore, there is a need to define boundaries, connect theoretical fields and provide deeper explanations of sustainability entrepreneurship beyond current approaches to corporate sustainability and social entrepreneurship. This paper seeks to address some of these issues by focusing on the distinctive importance of sustainability entrepreneurship within entrepreneurship research and developing a conceptual framework aimed at mapping out the field while at the same time adhering to empirical relevance. In doing so, we define sustainability entrepreneurship as the scholarly examination of how and by whom opportunities to create future goods and services are recognised, evaluated, and exploited, while improving the development of society, the economy and the environment, allowing future generations to meet their own needs. Based on this definition, we draw upon literature on entrepreneurship theory and sustainable development and propose three avenues for further research on this topic: theoretical and empirical definition of sustainability entrepreneurs, the process of development of sustainability-oriented venture opportunities and the interaction between institutions and sustainability entrepreneurship. Within each avenue we pose relevant research questions that are of both descriptive and explanatory nature, and aim to bring closer the conceptual and empirical aspects of sustainability entrepreneurship. Focusing on these dimensions and questions helps visualise and analyse currently disparate conditions, features, and outcomes of sustainability entrepreneurship, thus increasing the intensity and quality of future theoretical and empirical work. The migration-development model facilitated some European nations in closing the development gap with economic powers in terms of basic industry early in the twentieth century. The model was deployed by some Asian nations later in the twentieth century to close their gap with economic powers in terms of the digital industry. This paper formulates and examines the case of some African nations deploying the migration-development model in the second decade of the twenty-first century to close the gap with economic powers in terms of the green or eco-industry. The problem of sustainable development is considered in the context of greening the economy in general and transport in particular. The authors analyzed the ecological situation (in terms of greenhouse gas emissions) in a number of countries of the world and in Russia. The issues of the influence of various types of transport on the environment are studied. The analysis of the regions of Russia with the maximum emissions of pollutants from transport has been carried out. Due to ratification of the Paris climate agreement by the Russian Federation in 2019, the main priority areas of state policy aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions were considered. The authors analyzed the world experience in the implementation of environmental instruments and the requirements for a "green" economy and logistics, developed recommendations that include various groups of environmental instruments necessary for implementation in Russia. The environmental measures used in various industries of the Russian Federation are also considered. Specific measures implemented by railway transport to fulfill the tasks of the Development Strategy of the Russian Railways holding for the period up to 2030 are highlighted. Among such measures is introduction and development of piggyback transportation. The positive experience of European countries only helps Russia move towards greening the economy and transport. The geographic origin of pollution is disconnected from its scale or place of occurrence, and some environmental problems could have impact easily on the entire planet. Currently it is noticeable a continuous agravation of pollution and a change in the basics of ecological problems. Local pollution is replaced by global issues such as climate change or biodiversity loss. The paper attempted to reveal the direction of policy measures that target sustainability within a global context. The paper makes an incursion in the field of policy measures aimed to correct the environmental relations of the contemporary society and assess the anticipative and the strategies of integration by referring to level of greening occuring throughout the economy and the social behavior. Therefore, many environmentally harmfull processes continued and still are continuing to date making the policy agenda more and more crowded and reliefing the urgency of action, which is one of the main concerns today. Meanwhile, in the economy there are symptoms of "greening", although confusion is still a significant issue among companies that attempt to change beneath the pressure of legal, financial, and information strategies. From 2004-2015, the utilised agricultural area (UAA) in Estonia increased by 25%. Half of the UAA growth arose from the increase in the area of permanent grassland temporarily not used for production purposes. The main driver of growth in such land has been single area payment (SAP) paid in Estonia since the EU accession in 2004. While subsidising the maintenance of permanent grassland not used for agricultural production is in line with the objectives of the EU Common Agricultural Policy (CAP), it fuels discussions about the effects of this policy on agricultural producers. For every year, member states establish practices equivalent to maintenance of permanent grassland. Until 2014, in Estonia, the minimum activity for the maintenance of permanent grassland under the SAP, was harvesting the grass or chopping it and leaving on the ground. In 2015 and 2016 options for chopping and leaving the grass on the ground were restricted with an aim to target SAP more towards active land users, i.e. agricultural producers. Both agricultural producers and non-producers maintain permanent grassland not used for production purposes. Research on the practices used by different types of actors helps in understanding the variety of practices and potential effects of restrictions of these practices. The survey data was combined with the data from the registries of Estonian Agricultural Registers and Information Board (ARIB), to analyse the potential effects of restrictions of practices on agricultural producers and the area of permanent pasture in Estonia. The results indicate that both agricultural producers and non-producers use grass harvesting and chopping practices. Therefore, restrictions that have effect on both groups of land users are not the most efficient way of targeting SAP towards agricultural producers, and potentially reduce the area of permanent grasslands. The 1990's "revolution of environmental concern" (Post & Altman, 1992) increased the priority of environmental issues on the business agenda. Robinson and Dechant (1999) propose that the attention firms pay to the natural environment differentiates between corporate instrumental (reactive) and normative (proactive) approaches towards environmental management. Firm leaders (CEOs) and environmental specialists together account for much of the firm's attention to the environment. This study investigates how leaders' personal values and their perceptions of corporate environmental commitment and various stakeholder groups influence the pursuit of instrumental or normative strategies towards the natural environment. It combines managerial cognition, stakeholder and corporate greening theories to formulate and test hypotheses regarding corporate environmental strategy and innovation. We surveyed 163 CEOs and 128 environmental specialists in 291 Canadian firms, finding that personal values regarding the environment, perceived corporate environmental commitment, stakeholder group influences, and corporate environmental strategies represent separate dimensions within CEOs' cognitive frames and that the salience of stakeholder groups to CEOs influences their strategy choice. CEOs' cognitive frames include more associations among mixed reactive and proactive strategies than among proactive strategies alone. Environmental specialists' frames are more integrated than CEOs', but also include more conflict. A key finding is that the higher the corporate environmental commitment perceived by leaders, the more likely the choice of proactive strategy and subsequent environmental innovation. We conclude that eco-sustainable management depends on the continued personal and corporate commitment of leaders toward the environment, enacted in proactive strategy choices and the pursuit of environmental innovation. Green growth has been a development strategy chosen by many countries and cities around the world to develop urban areas faster reaching the goal of sustainable development. Urban development associated with green growth is also being focused in Vietnam through government orientation. However, there are still certain gaps and barriers from orientation to implementation. In order to persude the aim of environmentally development, resources protection, establishing sustainable urban ecosystems and reaching human development, urban governments should not only base on national orientations, the local urban initiatives are more than important. The article analyzes the situation of institutions including policies, laws and mechanisms on urban development management under the aim of green growth in Vietnam in the current urbanization context, thereby helping urban managers at all levels to have a proactive view in promoting institutions and practical sollutions to improve urban development management closer to green growth goals. Green finance has emerged as a critical tool in addressing climate change and promoting sustainable economic growth. Albania, has started to explore the potential of green finance to support its transition to a low-carbon and resilient economy. This paper aims to provide an overview of the current state of green finance in Albania, gives an insight of the main developments in the banking and energy sector as two of the main sectors contributing in the greening process the green pathway and furthermore lists the challenges and opportunities for further development. The paper builds on existing literature, which is mainly in the form of reports. There is a number of promising initiatives and projects underway, but academic researches for Albania are missing. In order to achieve the main objective, a desk research and semi structured interviews with stakeholders of the main financial institutions have been conducted. The results obtained from analyzing the quantitative and qualitative data indicate the early stage of green finance development in Albania, the problems and challenges of this transition. Over the last twenty years, Morocco has embarked on the path of sustainable development in all its strategic sectors by preparing and adopting sectoral plans planned over several years and stages following specific objectives and monitoring indicators. Despite the efforts made and the resources available to Morocco to embark on a successful experience of sustainable development, the results achieved still face difficulties that do not allow them to be at the desired height. For this reason, Morocco and according to the high directives of his majesty King Mohammed 6 has adopted a new strategy of sustainable development favoring the balance between the environmental, economic and social dimensions. The main goal of this strategy is to achieve a vision of a green economy in Morocco by 2030. The kingdom is currently facing significant and complex environmental, social and economic challenges that must be considered exclusively in this new vision. to ensure that it is more inclusive. At present all neighboring African countries and many other developing countries attests to a favorable overall level of development in Morocco in several areas thanks to the wise and solid royal vision. But its limits born in reality have required its redesign, the green key that the old model to miss in its lines is exactly what Morocco today requires. While many countries are depleting their natural resources, Morocco has put them at the heart of its new strategy. This voluntary commitment has resulted in a circuit of reforms, policies and plans that support its path towards greener sustainable development. In this article, we aim to present in a first shot an inventory of the model of sustainable development of Morocco to know the progress of its plans flourish in their entirety. At this stage, several limits have emerged especially after the completion of several sectoral plans already in place. The major anomaly common to a large number of sectors is the neglect of the environmental component, which is perceived today as a need for the effectiveness of countries' sustainable development models. Private Finance Initiative (PFI) projects should integrate the principles of sustainability in every stage of development. However, the implementation of PFI project becomes issues in many countries as well as in Malaysia construction industry. The benefits of sustainability development especially in PFI projects have been over looked. Greening elements and PFI are not mutually exclusive. Thus, this study intends to determine the elements of sustainability that need to be integrate in PFI projects. The reviews from previous research conducted and study indicated that there are four main elements that need to be integrate are social, environmental, economy and technology aspects in the whole life of the construction development. Social aspect with relates to care of end users; economy with relates to whole life costing and capital cost; environmental aspect relates to energy consumption during operation and finally technical aspects with relates to frequent use of technology are among the trigger findings of the previous scholar research. The paper considers two trends that currently affect production: building a green economy and digitalization. A green economy is a prerequisite for sustainable development. Digitalization is considered the technological impetus of the fourth industrial revolution. The coexistence of these two trends is considered. In particular, the achievements of digitalization can be used to improve the environmental management system at enterprises. This article develops a model for the functioning of the environmental management system, taking into account digitalization. The model includes four stages related to the Deming (Shewhart) cycle. The article describes the opportunities that technological progress can give to environmental management. Criticism of digitalization is also considered. The article presents abstracts on topics about organizations and the natural environment which include barriers to greening the relief supply chain, alignment of consumers around low-carbon competitiveness, and the application of scenario analysis in industry sectors regarding climate change adaptation.

The main directions of the state regulation of ecological safety of subsoil use in the present conditions of an impending global ecological crisis are defined. These directions are environmental legislation (EL), ecological monitoring (EM), ecological standardization (ES), environmental impact analysis (EIA) and state environmental review (SER), ecological certification (EC), ecological audit (EA) and state ecological monitoring of rational use and safety of works related to subsoil use (SEM). We identify the problems of institutional capacity for environmentally sustainable development of subsurface resources associated with fragmentation, inconsistency and incompleteness of the specific measures that have been set out in Russian legislation. Elimination of these problems requires the development and adoption of new formal rules. The article justifies the necessity to assess the completeness of institutional capacity based on the greening development of mineral and raw materials potential represented as a primary mineral resources and technogenic deposits. We demonstrate the need to shift from the pollution control policy to the policy aimed at the pollution prevention or, at least, pollution restraint. The research confirms the practicability of the state regulation tools development of ecological safety in the direction of substitution the strict policing and punishment system of subsoil users with policy of financial and economic rewards for those who seek to reduce the anthropogenic impact on the environment. Many initiatives to control climate change and mitigate its effects have been developed recently. The implementation of the new green logistics strategy and its effects on the commercial sectors in Oman are the subject of several initiatives and studies that are required. The fact that COVID-19 accelerates supply chain management and its operations in Oman to begin using green solutions and a sustainable business strategy to achieve sustainable development, it is critical to understand which aspects deserve specific consideration. Sustainable solutions in the field of logistics management as well as maintaining net zero emissions in the Sultanate of Oman by implementing such a strategy. Maintaining a sustainable business model and sustainable supply chain management will assist any logistics organization in Oman in reducing emissions and achieving long-term success, which directly impacts green logistics. This paper's main objectives are to examine and identify strategies for implementing the influence of green logistics on transportation and how to keep green logistics aligned with a sustainable transportation system. This research also focuses on sustainable business models that will enhance logistics in support of zero net emissions as well as sustainable solutions that will facilitate the implementation of green logistics. In the contemporary business landscape, environmental considerations play a crucial role in shaping corporate strategies. Governments worldwide are actively addressing environmental issues, and the pursuit of environmentally sustainable development has emerged as a pivotal concern for businesses. Consequently, firms are increasingly turning to Green Marketing as a strategic approach to align with these environmental objectives. Green Marketing involves promoting and selling products or services based on their environmental benefits. Such offerings are either inherently eco-friendly or produced using environmentally conscious methods. The term "Green" has gained significant traction in today's environmentally conscious world, with public sentiment favoring green causes, making Green Marketing an effective tool for enhancing public relations and driving sales. The American Marketing Association (AMA) defines Green Marketing as the examination of the positive and negative impacts of marketing activities on pollution, energy depletion, and non-energy resource depletion. However, a fundamental assumption underlying Green Marketing is that consumers are willing to pay a premium for environmentally friendly products. This paper aims to scrutinize consumer awareness and assess the willingness of consumers to invest in green products, shedding light on the dynamics of the market in relation to environmentally sustainable offerings. The global tourism industry has undergone a paradigm shift towards sustainability, prompting tourist destinations to adopt environmentally responsible or green practices. Green entrepreneurship is one of the significant mechanisms that drives sustainability and creates innovations in entrepreneurship in an environmentally sustainable way. Green entrepreneurs identify the interconnections between innovation and sustainability in directing business processes toward cleaner and more efficient production and consumption of renewable energy. The paper aims to point out the importance and possibilities of developing green entrepreneurship and the motives that drive entrepreneurs to develop green innovations. Urban green infrastructure has historically been used for aesthetical purposes, making landscapes visually pleasant. More recently the green infrastructure in urban and suburban areas has started to be applied to help solve a broad range of problems that city dwellers are facing. These problems include natural disasters, overheating, excessive flows rainwater, biodiversity decline and food insecurity among others. Thus, implementation of green infrastructure as Nature-based Solutions has become increasingly popular. This trend is likely to continue in future as global climate change poses more and more changes to city dwellers. Urbanization and population growth are likely to drive implementation of urban green infrastructure across the globe and especially in the Global South, where impacts of the global heating are likely to be particularly strong. Implementation of green infrastructure may be developed either mostly for aesthetical purposes or as Nature-based Solutions or both. It is, however, important to note that the integrated approach is likely to have the greatest potential to meet global challenges. Furthermore, implementation of the green infrastructure is likely to have the greatest positive impact when implemented as a holistic system rather than individual elements. Thus, there is a clear need to evaluate opportunities for green infrastructure development that could simultaneously maximize aesthetic impact and effectiveness of the urban green and blue spaces to act as Nature-based Solutions. Here we illustrate some of the variables and system dynamics involved. Using a simplified model with specific focus on food supply, system structural analysis suggests that the urbanization variables commonly considered in urban design models are not closely connected with those that would provide long-term sustainability. The positive feedback between variables within each of these two groups and negative impacts between groups create barriers to their combined assessment for practical mitigation actions. The various sub-systems and an expanded variable set can ideally be addressed with a similar methodology. We also discuss opportunities for integration and provide recommendations for policy makers, city planners and other stakeholders involved in construction and management of urban landscapes. The consequences of human actions on Earth are becoming increasingly evident, leading us to consider that the "climate collapse has begun", as the General Secretary of the United Nations (UN) warned at the beginning of September 2023. At less than a decade from 2030, the goals and its targets for sustainable development (SD) in the UN 2030 Agenda are far from being achieved, requiring urgent actions. Their fulfilment is at risk, particularly considering recent events such as the war(s) and the pandemic. Developing individual and collective awareness for action is essential. To this end, it is necessary to develop pro-environmental knowledge and attitudes in all citizens, not just the scholar public, which can translate into behaviours favouring the environment and SD. Based on this framework, quantitative research was developed into the scope of communication workshops in a natural biological park in Portugal. This study aimed to evaluate visitors' knowledge about SD and pro-environmental behaviours (PEB) after participating in two science communication workshops: Night of the Fireflies and Recreation of the Wool Cycle. In both workshops, the activities highlighted sustainable development themes in the scope of species extinction and biodiversity. A questionnaire was applied to 47 visitors (n=47) at the end of the activities. The results indicated that all visitors became familiar with SD, although they evaluated their knowledge as just sufficient. Participants also indicated that reducing waste and using plastic are PEBs that most contribute to SD. Finally, visitors considered that the PEB they would be willing to adopt due to their participation were the preservation of cultural and natural heritage and the non-disruption of fauna and flora during a visit to a park or natural area. It is implemented by internalizing environmental, social, and economic values in responding to and dealing with a problem and is carried out holistically and transdisciplinary. In this context, Green Social Workers contributed to handling the impacts of climate change to realize sustainable development goals. In the article, the authors assessed the current state of "green" financing in the RF and proposed the main advantages of development within the framework of the "green economy". Currently, "green investments" are considered as a tool for solving environmental problems, as well as a factor of economic growth. Within the framework of this article, the authors provide statistical data on "green" financing in the Russian Federation. From a practical point of view, the transition to sustainable development means a fundamental change in business and management processes in order to stop the destruction of key ecosystems, the depletion of non-renewable resources, and the widening of gaps between the poor and the rich. Methods of scientific analysis, comparison and synthesis were used in the research process. As a result, the author comes to the conclusion that it is necessary to develop a new definition of the "green" economy, which will uniquely determine its essence. In conclusion, the author emphasizes that the concept of a "green" economy does not replace the concept of sustainable development, but achieving the sustainability of the state almost entirely depends on the formation of a "correct" economy. Polluting the planet for many years, the world community has reached the point of no return in the process of resource development, extraction of raw materials, forced urbanization of territories. In Malaysia, sustainable development is getting momentum within organizations, businesses, and even communities. In Higher Education, we can observe that green initiatives have been taken on campus, although community awareness is still at an average level. As a result, the emphasis of this study was on UTMSPACE community's green environmental awareness, which included their study location at the UTM Kuala Lumpur campus. The introduction to this study and the concerns that arise will be the first section of this paper's structure. The literature review on green awareness, initiatives, and motivation will be covered in the second half of this study. A preliminary investigation was conducted among Diploma students in SPACE UTM Kuala Lumpur. The goal of the first inquiry is to determine the green awareness among the students. According to the poll, 132 students took part in the short online survey. We quizzed them on their thoughts of green awareness implementation, and the results of the analysis were presented in a descriptive manner. We suggest student involvement activity based on preliminary research to improve environmental awareness among the UTMSPACE community by engaging in green environment initiatives. However, because to the Covid-19 pandemic, a variety of green environmental actions can be undertaken or implemented. As a result, in the methodology section of this study, we propose a mobile application design to ensure that green awareness activities are practicable and at a constant pace, in order to ensure social distancing and activities can be done by individuals. As a result, in order to achieve this goal, we created a mobile application to raise green awareness among the campus community, which we will demonstrate at the end of this paper. In the modern construction business, Green Building (GB) has become the flagship of sustainable development. Previous studies reveal it can essentially deal with a wide range of challenges for project development, from minor concerns to devastating disasters. These days, there are a lot of disastrous abrupt tragedies happening all around us, such as floods, which may harm both people and animals. The current developments have been cited as one of the contributing elements to the tragedy. Mostly due to unanticipated actions to guarantee that development is proceeding as planned, integration across process, people, and environment. Thus, GB has been seen as an approach that is able to resolve issue related to a disaster. It can lessen the likelihood that one will occur. Delivering successful green building projects is still a challenging task due to its complexity in design and construction regardless the fact that the number of green building projects around the world is increasing. Thus, the objective of this study is to identify the barriers in managing construction sites for green building projects. This study used quantitative methods with a close-ended questionnaire as the research instrument. By using stratified sampling, 36 respondents were responded to this study. The data collected were summarized using critical analysis and descriptive analysis. The data were analyzed using SPSS software. The findings show that the major barriers encountered while managing construction sites for green building projects are cost concerns; collaboration issues; and financial struggle. Thus, this research aims to determine the level of practice in developing residential areas towards green infrastructure in Klang Valley by identified problems covering the relevant information which includes barriers of implementation infrastructure and discover benefits of green infrastructure towards mental and social health development in human. Adopting research qualitative method by through conducted an interviews session with selected and respected respondents from developer in Klang Valley who's has applied green infrastructure in their urban development. As conclusion, there are still many barriers exists that prevented the development of the green infrastructure, and the most outstanding barrier is the cognitive barrier which is there are still lack of confidence among the developers on the money returned and the lack of awareness and demand from the public and much restraining the development of green infrastructure in Klang Valley. When it comes to having the financial barrier, such as maintenance on buildings or infrastructure, suitable green infrastructure features or alternatives that does not require much money to invest are one of solution by considering the building orientation and master planning on development circulation at the early design stage. Family firms represent a unique kind of company and extent research characterizes them to be rather risk-averse in their commitment to innovation but consider them to be more efficient in their innovation efforts in contrast to nonfamily firms. Although family firms have a widespread impact on the worldwide economy, there has been limited research on the heterogeneity in their innovation behavior in both family firm and innovation literature. The growing body of research on green innovation indicates that it is a distinct type of innovation due to its unique characteristics and common knowledge on general innovation in family firms cannot be transferred to their behavior with respect to green innovation. Therefore, we aim to investigate why family firms engage in green innovation and which factors determine their green innovation performance. To investigate this new phenomenon and contribute to theory, we conduct a multiple-case study based on a sample of German family firms from different industries by collecting and analyzing data from both publicly available sources and interviews conducted with the top management of these firms. Thereby, these firms cover the spectrum family firm heterogeneity in this field ranging from high to low green innovation performance and their approach to green innovation supports our argumentation. Our findings suggest that family firms develop and adopt green innovation due to their SEW aspirations, as these lead them to think and invest for the long term. If they engage in the development and implementation of green innovation, however, their success depends on their familiness, namely their social capital, human capital, and financial capital, as these resources are crucial to successfully manage the complexity of the green innovation development process. This study is equally important for researchers, practitioners, and policy makers as it highlights the key obstacles and requirements for family firms to successfully develop and implement green innovation. Therefore, when planning any project, it becomes necessary to conduct an environmental impact assessment (EIA) to increase the preservation of natural and built environments. One of these processes is the rapid impact assessment matrix (RIAM). Accordingly, the research used RIAM as an integrative tool to measure the potentialities of Sawa Lake to promote sustainable tourism. This method includes social and economic components in addition to environmental and physical elements and the possibility of future modification and re-assessment. The popularity of green roofs is increasing every year, not only due to their aesthetic benefits but also thanks to the functional advantages they bring to the building and its surroundings. Such a roof could present a better variant of classic green roofs. The wetland roof is a multifunctional construction that retains rainwater, creates a cooling effect thanks to evapotranspiration and can also be used as a root water cleaner. The article summarizes information about the wetland roof – its composition, maintenance, advantages, disadvantages and occurrence in the world. Corporate sustainability is perceived as a multidimensional construct of social, economic, and environmental development, as well as a business strategy that considers future development needs. It is one of the organization's responses to the new challenges of the turbulent external environment. Currently, the overall business performance also includes the organization's performance in various non-financial aspects, such as ecological or social dimensions of sustainable development, and this approach differs from traditional financial business performance. Thus, the construct of corporate sustainable performance (CSP) is a response to the requirements of stakeholders and society. Top leadership recognizes the importance of CSP in core business from the perspective of environmental, social, and economic issues. The implementation of principles and practices of sustainable development and the measurement and continuous improvement of CSP require advanced knowledge that must be disseminated throughout the organization. Knowledge-oriented leaders can play an essential role in effective CSP management. Knowledge-oriented leadership has increasingly been recognized as an essential element for organizations to enhance knowledge management in every area of business activity, especially at the strategic level. From this perspective, the main aim of the study was to investigate the impact of knowledge-oriented leadership on the CSP in terms of its environmental, social, and economic dimensions, and thus on the organization's development. Following a review of the literature, the questionnaire survey was developed and implemented in 2023. The research sample consisted of 200 small and medium-sized enterprises from Poland. Sustainable development in its various dimensions has become one of the modern trends witnessed by most of the research, studies, conferences and forums organized by the United Nations, which requires special attention and development, in line with the latest contemporary trends associated with achieving a sustainable and environmentally friendly university. Where this research included the study and evaluation of some indicators of sustainability for the buildings of the University of Babylon, which was established during the years between 1980 and 1989.A model of approximately 10% of the total buildings in the university was chosen based on a table that includes some international curriculum standards for measuring the level of sustainability of university buildings. The buildings were evaluated based on field visits and the assistance of engineers and technicians. A table has been prepared by researchers that includes four dimensions of sustainability. The environmental dimension, the social, the economic and the design, each dimension contains a set of basic and secondary criteria. Sustainability has been a significant concern in development and construction upon the rising environmental issues around the globe. As such, efforts have been made to come up with sustainable construction via the invention of sustainable housing. The sustainable concept is extended to housing as demand for sustainability development for energy saving. However, high prices of houses have been denoted as an issue in the housing industry. As conventional development is already associated with high costs and high prices, houses with sustainable features are offered and sold at even higher prices. This worsens affordability, which is already a problem in Malaysia. This paper explores sustainable affordable housing via a combination review of issues and challenges. This investigation sets to accomplish two objectives. Firstly, it includes studying issues concerning sustainable affordable housing. The second objective covers a detailed identifying the challenges of implementing sustainable affordable housing and gaps of this area of study around the globe. This paper structurally investigates the literature from valid databases and eminent journals from 2004 to 2018 in matters related to issues and challenges sustainable affordable housing. As very limited work has been carried out in the areas of issues and challenges of implementing sustainable affordable housing, this paper fills this knowledge gap in the context of a structured review. The findings of the research are critically discussed in light of the literature. This research examines the influence of green shipping and green knowledge on long-term economic and environmental performance from the perspective of maritime students. The purpose of this study is to assess the impact of green shipping on the economy and environment, based on student perceptions from the Samarinda State Polytechnic's Maritime Department. Purposive sampling was used in this study, which included 97 semester students from the Department of Maritime Affairs. The study questionnaire was sent out over WhatsApp, and the results were analyzed using smart PLS. The findings revealed the relevance of green shipping and green knowledge in raising environmental awareness and improving environmental performance. Green Knowledge has a positive effect on Environmental Performance, Green Shipping has a positive effect on Green Knowledge, Sustainable Economy, but has a negative effect on environmental performance and has a positive impact if through Green Knowledge.
