This paper analyses the poetry of the Uruguayan writer Cristina Peri Rossi from the perspective of classical reception. Through a textual analysis, we reflect on her conceptions of the relationship between language and identity, the weight of tradition as inheritance and the woman or lesbian identity as a key to understand the resignification of tradition. Three thematic examples of reception will be addressed: the topics of love, the theme of the journey and the founding myth or the genesis of sex. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Sex, porn and video games are cultural elements of great importance and consumption. Additionally, a critical and artistic movement called post-porn has emerged in recent years and seeks to create new forms of experimenting sexual pleasure as well as non-normative porn in order to visibilize and empower both women and sexual minorities. The present paper aims to explore the intersection between sex and porn with video games, spaces historically conceived for male use. To that end, we provide an overview of the representation of sex and we analyze if there are examples of works that could be considered post-pornographic in video games. We conclude that the presentation of sex in this medium is still cisheterocentric and catering to the male gaze but that the existence of some post-pornographic practices illustrates the potential that video games have to dismantle gender and sexual stereotypes. "Rhetoric of misfortune and testimonial journalism. The creation of the writer Amador Contreras in Gran Sant Cugat (1999-2003)". The paper analyzes the compilation of articles that Amador Contreras published in the local weekly Gran Sant Cugat (Sant Cugat del Vallès, Barcelona, 1999-2003) to denounce administrative corruption. The texts have many defects of adequacy, coherence and cohesion. While the merit of the unknown writer is not expressive, he is the example of testimonial journalism that gives tenaciously in a hostile environment. The thesis of the study consists of pointing out the importance of the portrait that the author makes of himself in a series of more than seventy articles. In his writing the author appears as a disproportionate and ambivalent character, a suggestive reflection of this time of corruption. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The inclusion of people with disabilities is a priority in advanced societies. To get it, education is one of the best tools. In this paper, we have studied the support for the inclusion of students with disabilities in the university environment. Our work is related to the theoretical model proposed by the Theory of Planned Behavior and was performed by using data obtained through a survey conducted at the University of A Coruña (Spain) during the 2010-2011 academic year, to 621 students from all degrees in Education Science. The results show the importance of gender as a differentiating factor, revealing a greater involvement of women compared to men, in the stimulus of the inclusion of their university peers suffering disability. The relevance of these results increases if we consider the social impact of this higher involvement of this group (women), that is majority in the primary education, when the formation of attitudes is developed. In this paper, I present a theoretical review of Brazilian women migrants' representation forms in the European media. The main objective is to understand how the discourse of journalism represents this minority. This analysis takes as its starting point an investigation into the ways in which Brazilian women may be stereotyped to match the racist and sexist social expectations. This article works with a gender perspective in migration studies; this means that I analysis Brazilian women migration to Europe in the context of the feminization of migration flows and thinking their particularities. The aim of this study is to provide a framework for the research on work, gender y health, combining the classic paradigm of occupational hazards research with the consideration of work as a social determinant of health. We analyze gender inequalities taking into account other axes of inequality: individual ones like social class, y contextual ones like the typology of welfare states. This paper identifies some limitations of traditional research on occupational health from a gender perspective. It also describes the research on work as a social determinant of health y its limitations from a gender point of view. The traditional research on occupational health has paid less attention to the problems of women. On the other hand, research on work-related gender inequalities in health has rarely considered both social class among women, y the impact of family demands on the health of men. Moreover, there is little comparative research between countries with different labor market, family y gender policies. In future research on traditional occupational health, the role of sex y gender should be considered in the analysis of occupational risks. Variables should be used to capture specific work environments as well as several health y healthrelated behaviors indicators. The analysis of work as a social determinant of health from a gender perspective should take into account the complex interactions between gender, family roles, employment status, as well as other individual axes of inequality, y the welfare state typologies. Economic Theory has recently revised during last years the following two basic ideas on the economic working of families: i) family income is the sum of the individual income of each of its members (income pooling); and ii) all family members living in the household have equal access to family resources. Unequal access to family resources among women and men, as well as among elderly, adults and children, is now understood as an input. For instance, women ate less food and of worst quality than men. But it is also understood as an output: women had poorer health, higher epidemic mortality and were smaller than men because they had received less food and poorer medical care. Inequalities in intra-family consumption are currently drawing the attention of academics and international agencies but it is not yet in the Economic History agenda. In this paper we look at some of the resources consumed by Spanish families in the 19th century: food, alcoholic beverages, clothes and shoes. Medical topographies, our main source, suggest that gender inequality structured access to family resources, and that this inequality had a strong impact on the health and well-being of family members. As a consequence of discrepancies in work allocation, women and men do not share similar positions in the labor market. The aim of this study is twofold. On the one hand, this paper updates our knowledge about the position of women in the Spanish labor market paying special attention to a particularly vulnerable group, that of immigrant women. On the other hand, it offers a critical view of the role that occupational segregation has on women's wellbeing and calls for taking segregation into account in designing public policies. For that purpose, this study presents an overview of the main theories that explain how segregation is produced and maintained across time, paying special consideration to its negative consequences. This paper gives an analysis of personal and environmental variables related to aggressive and unsportsmanlike behaviours in a sample of Spanish sports competitors. We aim to: 1) ascertain how personality and expression variables relate to trait anger control and unsportsmanlike behaviors, in relation to men and women, age groups and type of sport; 2) identify and analyze the most maladjusted and the most adjusted profiles in a sample of sportsmen and women; 3) identify personality variables as predictors of aggressive and unsportsmanlike behaviours. Differences in gender, age and type of sport were appreciated in personality variables and in aggressive and unsportsmanlike behaviours. Men have better emotional adjustment (more behaviours of emotional stability, better self-esteem, self-confidence and leadership), and have worse social adjustment (fewer behaviours of tolerance, social skills and responsibility; more aggressive and unsportsmanlike behaviours). Women have better social adjustment (more behaviours of tolerance, understanding, adaptation, responsibility, discipline and sociability), and have worse emotional adjustment (greater anxiety). More aggressive and unsportsmanlike behaviours and greater emotional maladjustment were found in the youngest sportsmen and women. Aggressive and unsportsmanlike behaviours were more frequent in team sports. This study highlights personality variables as predictors of aggressive and unsportsmanlike behaviours.
