In this paper, I present a theoretical review of Brazilian women migrants' representation forms in the European media. The main objective is to understand how the discourse of journalism represents this minority. This analysis takes as its starting point an investigation into the ways in which Brazilian women may be stereotyped to match the racist and sexist social expectations. This article works with a gender perspective in migration studies; this means that I analysis Brazilian women migration to Europe in the context of the feminization of migration flows and thinking their particularities. Finally, I present studies about Brazilian women representation in newspapers, magazines, television channels and advertisements in France, Portugal, Spain, Italy and England. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
