Kuşak kavramı toplumun aynı zaman diliminde meydana getirdiği akran grubu olarak tanımlanmaktadır. Kuşak ayrımı konusunda yapılan çalışmalar, Z kuşağını 1995 ve sonrası doğanlar olarak belirlemektedir. Bilinçli farkındalık burada ve şimdi olana yargısız şekilde dikkatini vermek ve deneyimi olduğu gibi kabul etmektir. Yaşamın anlamı ise bireyin varoluşunun anlamı ve bir anlama yönelik arayışı olarak tanımlanmaktadır. Mâneviyat, bireyin yaşamı boyunca kutsalıanlamanın ve kutsal ile ilişki kurmanın yeni yollarını keşfettiği ruhsal bir arayış sürecidir. Teknoloji nesli olan Z kuşağında pek çok olumlu psikolojik değişken ile ilişki olan yaşamda anlam bilinçli farkındalık ve mânevî kaynaklar arasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesi araştırmanın amacını oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın katılımcıları Akdeniz Üniversitesinde öğrenim gören bireylerden tesadüfi yöntemle seçilen 500 öğrencidir. Araştırmada bilinçli farkındalık düzeyini ölçmek üzere Brown ve Ryan tarafından geliştirilen, Özyeşil, Arslan, Kesici ve Deniz tarafından Türkçeye uyarlanan Bilinçli Farkındalık Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Yaşamın anlamı değişkeni için ise Steger ve arkadaşları tarafından geliştirilen, Yarar tarafından Türkçeye uyarlanan Yaşamın Anlamı Ölçeği tercih edilmiştir. Son olarak mânevî kaynaklar değişkeni için Westbrook ve arkadaşları tarafından geliştirilen, Ekşi ve arkadaşları tarafından Türkçeye uyarlanan Mânevî Kaynaklar Ölçeğinden yararlanılmıştır. Verilerin istatistiksel analizi SPSS 26 ile yapılmıştır. Araştırma bulgularına göre bilinçli farkındalık, yaşamın anlamı ve mânevî kaynaklar arasında pozitif yönde anlamlı ilişki bulunmuştur.

- Abstract
Compared to traditional and modern periods, developments in information technologies in the postmodern period have led to radical changes in the concept of identity. These changes, together with the effect of digitalisation and digital platforms, have led to the transformation of identities into digital identities, leading to the distinction between offline and online identities. In this context, the subject of this research is to understand the identity construction process of Generation Z, which is a generation born and raised in the digital age, also accepted as digital natives, on digital platforms. The aim of the research is to reveal the relationship and differentiation between the online identities and offline identities of Generation Z individuals built on digital platforms. In the research process, Derek Layder's adaptive methodological approach was used as the method. In the research findings, it was determined that Generation Z participants construct conditional identities according to the online environments in which their close environment and strangers are present while constructing their online identities. It was observed that Generation Z participants were in a pragmatist behaviour in the conditional identities they constructed on digital platforms. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Social media, where popular culture is created and strengthened, religious issues are discussed and people openly share their preferences, is a tool that directly affects young people today. Therefore, Generation Z is under the influence of influencers on social media tools more than family, values, religion and cultural education during adolescence. In light of all this information, the purpose of this research is to investigate the effects of intense influencer interaction created by Generation Z through social media tools on religious and cultural values. The importance of this research is to deepen the social understanding of the impact of Generation Z and influencer interaction on religious and cultural values and to develop a perspective on the subject. With the basic judgment that young people are the next generation, this issue is seen as important in terms of shaping the future. The method of the research is in-depth interview. In-depth interviews were conducted and data was collected with 15 Generation Z members who actively use social media and follow influencers. In-depth interviews were conducted in a semi-structured format. Within the scope of the study, 8 basic questions were determined and it was aimed to expand the answers by asking related questions depending on the answers given to these questions. These people were selected by simple random sampling and all of them are undergraduate university students. Gender and socio-economic status are not a means of discrimination within the scope of this research. However, 9 of the 15 people are female and 6 are male. Although all students reside in different provinces, they all continue their education at universities in Istanbul. Although socio-economic status was not prioritized in the study, it was deemed necessary for the individual to have a smart mobile phone and to interact with influencers by actively using social media tools. According to the results of the research, interviewees clearly stated that influencers' opinions are important to them. No significant differences based on gender were detected. The main gender-based difference here is the diversification and change of influencers followed. It is thought that social tastes and tastes based on gender are effective here. Interviewers also revealed that influencers share posts that are far from religious and cultural values. In particular, following non-Turkish influencers of this age group causes them to become alienated from their own culture and religion and admire foreign religions and cultures. As a result of all the interviews, it is possible to say that Generation Z, who follows influencers and actively uses social media, moves away from religious and cultural values and approaches their lives within the framework of more non-religious and popular culture elements. In general, when all the results are evaluated, individuals during the youth period, with the influence of social media and influencers, tend to remove religious elements from their lives and adopt a secular lifestyle by taking it as an example.

In this study, the communication levels of Generation Z, which differs from other generations, with their parents were tried to be determined under various headings. For this purpose, data was obtained by using quantitative and qualitative research methods together. A questionnaire, a quantitative research method, was applied to 267 students studying at Adıyaman University Kâhta Vocational School to determine the communication levels of Generation Z with their parents, consisting of family relations, school and friend environment and individual freedoms factors. Additionally, a total of 14 students from the same sample group, seven female and seven male, were interviewed using semi-structured interview technique, and it was tried to determine the Generation Z's communication problems with parents. The study revealed the communication levels of Generation Z with their parents to be strong. The communication levels of Generation Z individuals included in the study with their parents differ according to the gender. It is seen that the level of communication between women and their parents is higher than that of men. In addition, the communication levels of parents without a regular income with their children were determined to be lower than those with a regular income. As a result of the descriptive analysis conducted to determine the communication problems of Generation Z with their parents and to elaborate the research, it was determined that Generation Z experienced the most problems with their parents in terms of school achievement, comparision of achievement with others and adherence to traditions. In political and social terms, the individual first steps into socialization within the family. In his/her later life, his/her social and political socialization is shaped as a result of his/her relations with his/her formal and informal environment. Another important element in shaping the identity of the individual in these areas is the concept of generation. Generations generally refer to individuals who are born in a certain period of time, who have similar experiences and who may have similar characteristics, attitudes or beliefs as a result. This study focuses on the factors affecting the political attitudes and behaviors of Generation Y and Generation Z individuals and their political interest level and political participation. This study aims to reveal what differences or similarities there are within the framework of "Psychological, Sociological and Rational" voting approaches, which are known as voting models in the literature, and it also aims to examine the relevant individuals comparatively in terms of their level of interest in political events or issues and their level of participation in the political field. For this purpose, field research was conducted with a total of 617 participants born between 1980-2004. In the research conducted using the survey technique between March 4, 2022 and March 31, 2022, it is seen that there are differences in interest and participation levels in political issues among individuals of Generation Y and Z. ÖZ: Bu çalışmanın amacı yıkıcı liderlik davranışları olarak sınıflandırılan kötü niyetli denetim, baskı ve zorbalık, engelleme, hiyerarşik istismar, kendini öne çıkarma ve olumsuz mentorluk davranışlarını Y ve Z kuşağı gözüyle anlamaya çalışmaktır. Başka bir deyişle yıkıcı liderlik davranışlarının kuşaklar arasında nasıl çalıştığını ve takipçilerin söz konusu olumsuz davranışları nasıl algıladığını ortaya koymaktır. İlave olarak Y ve Z kuşak takipçilerin bireysel özelliklerinin, çevrelerinin ve bağlamsal özelliklerinin algı, deneyim ve davranışlarını nasıl etkilediğini ortaya koymayı amaçlamaktadır. Bu amaca uygun olarak araştırmada nitel araştırma yöntemi, olgu bilim deseni ve odak grup görüşme tekniği benimsenmiştir. Araştırma kapsamında 7 Y kuşak takipçi, 5 Z kuşak takipçi olmak üzere toplamda 12 katılımcının görüş ve deneyimleri irdelenmiştir. Araştırmada öne çıkan yıkıcı liderlik davranışlarının başında kötü niyetli denetim gelmektedir. Başka bir deyişle her iki kuşak katılımcı da kötü niyetli denetim deneyimine maruz kalmıştır. Bununla birlikte kuşakların kötü niyetli denetim algısı birbirinden farklıdır. Baskı ve zorbalık öne çıkan ikinci yıkıcı liderlik davranışı olurken, liderin kendini öne çıkarma davranışı üçüncü yıkıcı davranış olarak belirmektedir. Çalışmada katılımcılar, olumsuz liderlik davranışlarına ilişkin görüş ve deneyimlerini ortaya koyarken; Y kuşağı ve Z kuşağı katılımcıların söz konusu davranışı algılama ve yönetme biçiminin de farklı olduğu ortaya çıkmıştır. Başka bir deyişle Y kuşağı karakteristik özellikleri çalışma yaşamına ve liderlik algısına etki ederken, benzer biçimde Z kuşağının karakteristik özellikleri de söz konusu kuşağın iş yapış biçimine ve liderlik algısına doğrudan etki etmektedir. ABSTRACT: The aim of this study is to try to understand close supervision, pressure and bullying, blocking, hierarchical abuse, self-promotion and negative mentoring behaviors classified as destructive leadership behaviors through the eyes of generation Y and Z. In other words, it is to reveal how destructive leadership behaviors work between generations and how followers perceive these negative behaviors. In addition, it aims to reveal how the individual characteristics, environmental and contextual characteristics of generation Y and Z followers affect their perception, experience and behavior. In accordance with this purpose, qualitative research method, phenomenologic design and focus group interview technique were adopted in the research. Within the scope of the research, the opinions and experiences of a total of 12 participants, including 7 Y generation followers, 5 Z generation followers, were examined. Leadership behaviours emerged in the research is close supervision. In other words, both generations of participants were exposed to the experience of close supervision. However, the perception of close supervision of generations is different from each other. Pressure and bullying are the second prominent destructive leadership behavior, while the leader's selfpromotion behavior appears as the third destructive behavior. In the study, while the participants revealed their opinions and experiences about negative leadership behaviors, it turned out that the way generation Y and generation Z participants perceive and manage this behavior is also different. In other words, while the characteristic features of generation Y affect the working life and the perception of leadership, similarly, the characteristic features of generation Z directly affect the way this generation does business and the perception of leadership.

Marketing nostalgic products or utilizing the nostalgia theme in marketing communications has become a common strategy for brands. The emotional satisfaction that nostalgia marketing offers to consumers by reviving good memories of the past may also result in positive attitudes or purchase intention. While nostalgia marketing provides several benefits for both brands and consumers, it creates a strong bond between the brand and the consumer as well. Despite the popular belief that nostalgia appeals most to middle-aged individuals, it has been noted that young people can also be the target of nostalgia marketing. This study focuses on the approach of Gen-Z to nostalgia marketing. On the purpose of understanding the motivations behind Gen-Z's interest in nostalgic products, in-depth interviews were conducted to gain valuable insights into their real-life experiences. Findings reveal that Gen-Z's interest in nostalgia marketing is driven by (1) individual motivations such as self- expression, joy of life, and originality, (2) social motivations such as human relations and social needs, and (3) design motivations. The findings of the study may contribute to a better understanding of Gen-Z's approach to nostalgia marketing which may help marketing professionals to create favorable brand experiences for this target group. Journalism and/or reporting is gaining new fields in line with technological and professional developments. Today, reporting can also be done through applications in social media, which has become an important area for journalism with its prominent features such as interaction, access and accessibility. In this study, which focuses on the relationship between social media and journalism in terms of YouTube and Instagram applications, Generation Z's motivations and satisfaction with consuming social media news are discussed. In this quantitative study, which is important in terms of providing up-to-date data about the news consumption process in social media applications, the relational scanning method was used. In the study, a survey was conducted with the participation of 406 people in the Generation Z classification. According to the findings, Generation Z's motivations and satisfaction with consuming social media news are moderate for YouTube and high for Instagram. Within the framework of news consumption motivation and satisfaction, there is a meaningful, positive and moderate relationship between YouTube and Instagram journalism. In both areas of journalism, a medium level of similarity of motivation and satisfaction was found in the reliability subdimension, technical possibilities and convenience, and a high level of motivation and satisfaction in the rich and on-demand content sub-dimensions. In addition, Instagram news consumption motivation and satisfaction was found to contribute 13.5% to YouTube news consumption motivation and satisfaction. According to the findings, it is seen that Generation Z is a not a stranger to the news produced or shared through Instagram and YouTube. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Generation Z represents a very important generational shift in the workplace. This generation, which has just entered the working life, will constitute the majority of the workers in the next ten to twenty years. Managing the employees of Generation Z, who have different attitudes and behaviors compared to the previous generations, is possible by first trying to understand the expectations of this generation. However, it is important not only to be aware of the expectations of this generation, but also how to manage these differences or the conflicts they will create in the workplace. This article has tried to improve a contextual view that defines the work-related characteristics of the youngest generation in working life and to offer some suggestions for Generation Z managers. For this purpose, a qualitative research was conducted based on in-depth interviews with the managers of Generation Z who are in working life. In the research, one-to-one in-depth interviews were conducted with 20 managers working as human resources managers, personnel managers or similar senior managers in companies with 100 or more employees operating in different sectors. In the study, it was found that Generation Z showed significant differences in management style, motivation, teamwork and social interactions due to their prominent workrelated characteristics. Günümüzde bilgi ve iletişim teknolojilerinin gelişimi, pazarlama alanına da yansımıştır. Çevrimiçi satın alma davranışı yaygınlaşarak tüketim algısına farklı bir boyut kazandırmıştır. Teknoloji ile büyüyen Z kuşağı, bugünün ve geleceğin önemli bir tüketici kesimini oluşturmaktadır. Bu çalışma; Z kuşağının sosyal medya kullanım alışkanlıklarına ve FoMO duygularına odaklanarak bu unsurların çevrimiçi satın alma davranışı üzerindeki rolünü ortaya koymayı amaçlamaktadır. Çalışmada Z kuşağından oluşan 594 kişi üzerinde gerçekleştirilen alan araştırması bulgularına yer verilmiştir. Bulgular neticesinde; Z kuşağının günlük sosyal medya kullanım süresi ve amaçları ile internetten alışveriş yapmaları arasında anlamlı bir ilişki bulunmuştur. Ancak Z kuşağının internetten alışveriş yapması, alışveriş yapma sıklığı, aylık alışveriş tutarları ile FoMO arasında bir ilişki bulunamamıştır. FoMO duygusu, Z kuşağının internete her erişimde sosyal medyaya bağlanma, günlük internet kullanım süresi, sosyal medyayı kullanım sıklığı, günlük sosyal medya kullanım süresi ile anlamlı bir farklılık gözetmektedir. Bu nedenle sosyal medyanın FoMO duygusunun yaratılmasında etkili bir şekilde kullanımıyla çevrimiçi satın alma davranışı gerçekleştirilebilecektir.

The aim of this study is to try to understand close supervision, pressure and bullying, blocking, hierarchical abuse, self-promotion and negative mentoring behaviors classified as destructive leadership behaviors through the eyes of generation Y and Z. In other words, it is to reveal how destructive leadership behaviors work between generations and how followers perceive these negative behaviors. In addition, it aims to reveal how the individual characteristics, environmental and contextual characteristics of generation Y and Z followers affect their perception, experience and behavior. In accordance with this purpose, qualitative research method, phenomenologic design and focus group interview technique were adopted in the research. Within the scope of the research, the opinions and experiences of a total of 12 participants, including 7 Y generation followers, 5 Z generation followers, were examined. Leadership behaviours emerged in the research is close supervision. In other words, both generations of participants were exposed to the experience of close supervision. However, the perception of close supervision of generations is different from each other. Pressure and bullying are the second prominent destructive leadership behavior, while the leader's selfpromotion behavior appears as the third destructive behavior. In the study, while the participants revealed their opinions and experiences about negative leadership behaviors, it turned out that the way generation Y and generation Z participants perceive and manage this behavior is also different. In other words, while the characteristic features of generation Y affect the working life and the perception of leadership, similarly, the characteristic features of generation Z directly affect the way this generation does business and the perception of leadership. This study examines the traditional children's games played throughout X and Z generations in early childhood in Kırşehir. A case study, one of the qualitative research designs, was used in this study. The participants were 42 individuals (21 X generation and 21 Z generation). The data collected through the semi-structured interview questions were analyzed with opencoding and content analysis methods. After describing participants' demographic information (e.g., gender, age, occupation, education level, and residence), their opinions were taken by asking questions about the traditional and digital games they played. While 54 traditional games were found at the X, 43 games were reached at the Z generation. 17 games placed both at X and Z generations. Digital games were played only by the Z generation, which allocated more time to digital games than traditional games because of the Covid-19 pandemic. Based on these findings the changes in traditional children's games, which are an intangible cultural heritage, are detected. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This study aims to determine the value hierarchies of Z-generation students. The research was carried out in Ankara in November and December of 2021. The Rokeach Values Inventory was used to reveal the value rankings of the students, and 985 students studying at a public high school were reached within the scope of the research. The research was carried out using the cross-sectional survey model, one of the quantitative research methods. Obtained data were analyzed with the Mann-Whitney U test and Kruskal-Wallis H test. According to the analysis results, it was seen that the "Z" generation attaches the most importance to freedom, family security, afterlife security, happiness, and comfortable life, among the terminal values. It was observed that students preferred to be independent, honest, logical, courageous, and intellectual the most, respectively, among instrumental values.

Tiktok, Çin’deki adıyla Douyin, kısa video paylaşım mantığıyla 2018 yılında piyasaya sürülmüştür. Söz konusu platformun kullanıcı sayısı hemen her geçen gün radikal bir biçimde artış göstermektedir. Aynı şekilde Türkiye’de de Tiktok kullanıcı sayısı giderek artmaktadır. Bu platformu kullananların daha çok Z kuşağı olarak ifade edilen yaş aralığındaki kesim oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada Z kuşağının Tiktok kullanım motivasyonları ile kullanım pratiklerinin nasıl olduğunu ortaya koymayı amaçlamıştır. Elde edilen anket formları (n= 402) ile söz konusu amaç çerçevesinde açıklayıcı faktör analizi (AFA) ve doğrulayıcı faktör analizleri (DFA) analizleri gerçekleştirilmiştir. Yapılan istatiksel analizler sonucunda Z kuşağının Tiktok’u sosyalleşme, benlik sunumu, eğlenme ve uygulamanın yenilikçi ve kullanışlı olma güdüleyicileriyle kullandıkları belirlenmiştir. Araştırmada Z kuşağının Tiktok’ta günlük bir saat 45 dakika zaman geçirdiği ve Tiktok’a karşı negatif bir algıları olmasına rağmen yine de bu uygulamayı kullandıkları saptanmıştır. Öte yandan Tiktok hesabı olmadan önce kullanıcıların daha çok Instagram hesaplarını kullandıkları ve Tiktok’ta paylaşılan içeriklere beğeni yoluyla etkileşimde bulundukları ortaya çıkmıştır. Çalışma Z kuşağı yaş aralığındaki bireylerin Tiktok hesabının bulunma kısıtlılığıyla gerçekleştirilmiştir. Gelecek çalışmalarda bu sınırlılığın dışındaki diğer kullanıcılar ile Tiktok hesabı bulunmayan kesim üzerinde de araştırmaların yapılması önerilmiştir.

Sürekli değişen ve gelişen teknoloji sayesinde dünyada ki her türlü bilgiye anında ulaşılmaktadır. Z kuşağı da farklı bilgilere, araştırmalara, geçmiş tecrübelere, yorumlara ve görüşlere teknolojiyi kullanarak ulaşıp, değerlendirme imkanını rahatlıkla bulmaktadır. Meslek seçimi ile birlikte, öğrendikleri bilgiler ve aldıkları eğitim ışığında kariyer planlamalarını özgüvenli olarak oluşturmaktadırlar. Bu araştırmanın amacı; Z kuşağı bireylerin kariyer planlamasının demografik faktörlerine göre farklılığının incelenmesidir. Araştırmanın örneklemini bir üniversitenin Sosyal Bilimler Enstitüsüne bağlı Muhasebe ve Denetim Tezsiz Yüksek Lisans Programına aktif kayıtlı 90 öğrencisi arasından tesadüfi olarak seçilen 61 katılımcı oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada anket çalışması uygulanmış olup, sonuçlar SPSS 23.0 programı ile analiz edilmiştir. Araştırmadan elde edilen bulgular kapsamında, Z kuşağının kariyer planlamaları ile yaş faktörü ve cinsiyet faktörü arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir farklılık olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Ayrıca Z kuşağı bireylerin medeni durum, mezun olunan lisans öğrenim bölümü ve mesleki kariyer için sahip olunan yabancı dil düzeyleri ile kariyer planlamaları arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir farklılık olmadığı tespit edilmiştir.

In this research, the aim is to critically evaluate non-formal religious educational activities carried out by the Presidency of Religious Affairs from the point of view of Generation Z in order to identify the deficiencies in the service provided and to make some suggestions about what can be done to improve in this area. The article identifies and discusses the problems being faced by the Presidency of Religious Affairs within the framework of a few questions such as whether or not the non-formal religious educational activities carried out by the Presidency of Religious Affairs can meet the needs and interests of Generation Z, where the non-formal religious educational services are currently available, where they can go, and what can be done to increase the quality of service. According to the results obtained from the research which document analysis method is used, the new programs prepared separately for each age group on the Qur'an Courses have been found to be beneficial. Moreover, the website, and applications system has proven to be very useful in terms of accessibility for the younger generation. In terms of social media; it is seen that the Presidency of Religious Affairs generally uses its existing social media accounts to share announcements and news, and does not include different content on these accounts. Again, in the television activities of Diyanet TV, a program that specifically appeals to the youth could not be determined whereas Diyanet Radio has a program that directly appeals to young people. With regards to the mosque services, although a special sermon is prepared for the youth every year, in the preach, there has not been found a sufficient level of study that specifically addresses the Z Generation and can be a solution to their religious and moral problems. This study examined the tendencies towards moving abroad among the young, 'Generation Z' women living in Turkey. Carried out with the participation of 561 women between the ages of 18-26, the life satisfaction and personality traits of the participants were examined in terms of their effects on their desire to migrate. The result of the research determined that most of the participants wanted to live abroad for a temporary period of time in order to increase their education or income level. When the situation of women who wanted to settle permanently abroad was examined, it was observed that they had the lowest life satisfaction in Turkey and they wanted to migrate permanently in order "to live freely" and "not to face identity discrimination". As the life satisfaction of young women decreased, their desire to live abroad increased. In terms of personality traits, it was determined that extroverted and open to experience young women had a higher desire to migrate. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The increase in divorce rates, domestic violence incidents, demographic transformation and similar problems show that the institution of the family is undergoing a transformation. For this reason, investigating the transformation in the family and the causes of the problems caused by this transformation is one of the main motivation sources in this study. There is no doubt that one of the prerequisites for the continuity of the family institution is mate selection approaches. The literature study we have done on the subject has revealed the importance of examining the mate selection strategies of young adults. One of the most important prerequisites for a successful marriage is choosing the right partner. Today, according to which criteria young adults choose their spouses and their approach to the family institution is one of the variables that will explain the transformation in the family institution. For this reason, our research was conducted to determine the approaches of young adult university students of the Z generation to the family institution and mate selection. The aim of this study is to examine the spouse selection strategies of Z generation young adult university students in terms of gender, romantic relationship status, religiosity, economic status and place of residence. For this purpose, the Inventory of Spouse Selection Strategies was applied to university students studying at Erzincan Binali Yıldırım University by obtaining the necessary permissions. The sample of the study consists of a total of 447 participants, 120 men and 327 women. The obtained data were analyzed with SPSS 22 package program. Since the data of the study did not show normal distribution, nonparametric tests were used in the analysis process. According to the findings, the mate choice tendencies of Z generation young adult university students show significant differences in terms of gender, romantic relationship status and religiosity variables. No significant difference was found between the economic situation and the place of residence and the mate selection strategies. In addition, it was concluded that all of the participants cared more about the emotional elements than the rational ones when choosing a partner. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Toplumsal değerler, bireylerin dünyaya bakışını belirleyen temel kültürel kodlar olup yaşanan birtakım gelişmelerin etkisiyle değişebilmektedir. Söz konusu değişimi anlamak ve açıklamak için kullanılan araçlardan biri olan kuşak kavramı, belirli zaman dilimlerinde dünyaya gelen insan kümelerini ifade etmek için kullanılmaktadır. Bu bağlamda 2000 yılından sonra dünyaya gelenleri belirtmek için kullanılan Z kuşağı, sahip olduğu değerler ve öz nitelikler açısından daha önceki hiçbir nesile benzemeyen özgün bir yapı arz etmektedir. Z kuşağı ile neredeyse aynı tarihsel zaman diliminde gelişip yaygınlaşan transhümanizm hareketi ise 21. yüzyılın en önemli toplumsal hareketlerinden biridir. Özellikle gen teknolojisi, robotik bilimi ve birtakım tıbbî uygulamalar aracılığıyla insanın sınırlı doğasını dönüştürmeyi/geliştirmeyi amaçlayan ve seküler bir karakter arz eden bu hareket, mezkûr dönemde yaşanan tekno-bilimsel devrimler sayesinde etkisini giderek artırmaktadır. Günümüzde giderek radikalleşen küreselleşme süreciyle beraber Z kuşağı bireyleri, söz konusu hareketin benimsediği seküler değerlerden doğrudan ya da dolaylı olarak etkilenmektedir. Bu etki Z kuşağı mensuplarının önceki nesillerin benimsediği bazı geleneksel ve dinî değerleri sorgulamalarını beraberinde getirmektedir. Buna ek olarak yeni nesil gençlerin pragmatik ve hedonist yaşam felsefesi, başta cinsiyet rolleri olmak üzere geleneksel açıdan keskin bir şekilde belirlenen birtakım sınırların bulanıklaşmasına ortam hazırlamaktadır. Çalışmamız, transhümanist hareketin yaydığı değerler ile Z kuşağı bireylerinin değer eğilimleri arasındaki örtüşmelere odaklanmaktadır. Zira transhümanizmin benimsediği bireysellik, eleştirel düşünme ve açık fikirlilik, varsayımları ve inançlara karşı sorgulayıcı yaklaşım, pragmatizm ve her türlü ırkçılığa, cinsiyet ayrımcılığına karşı olma gibi birtakım değerlerin Z kuşağı bireylerinde de yansımaları olduğu gözlenmektedir. Çalışmamızın amacı Z kuşağının değişen değer eğilimlerini transhümanizm perspektifinden anlamaya çalışmak ve konuya dair teorik bir zemin sunmaktır.

In this study, in which the privacy perceptions of individuals who are technologically native, born into the technological life and called the Z generation, are tried to be measured, attitudes and behaviors are tried to be revealed. In the context of the survey conducted on 420 Z generation members throughout Turkey, it was aimed to analyze the content shared by individuals on social media and the way these contents made sense. The obtained data were analyzed by transferring them to the IBM SPSS Statistics 22 (statistical packages for social sciences) program. With the study, it was stated that the participants were not worried about sharing content on social media platforms, sharing their personal information by others, and their personal privacy. In addition, it is seen that the idea that people reflect their real lives in social media and that their private spaces are not violated in social media is common. As a result of the research, it can be suggested to investigate the reasons for the transformation of the privacy perceptions of the Z generation members. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
