Darbe bus nagrinėjama mišraus tipo masinė aptarnavimo sistema, kurią gali sudaryti n paraiškų šaltinių, su atitinkamais paprasčiausių srautų intensyvumais, o paraiškos gali būti paskirstomos į m aptarnavimo įrenginių su fiksuotomis prioritetinėmis paraiškų eilėmis, kur paraiškos aptarnavimo laikas S yra pasiskirstęs pagal apibendrintą tikimybinio skirstinio funkciją G(t). Darbo tikslas – sukurti programinę įrangą, kuri pagal pateiktą sistemos funkcionavimo aprašymą schematine struktūra apskaičiuoja sistemos stacionariąsias tikimybes ir tikimybines charakteristikas. This paper analyses the underlying multi-server and multi-class queuing system which is receiving applications of corresponding intensities distributed by Poisson process and can be spread among multi-class servers with fixed waiting positions, where service time S of a application has a general probability distribution function G(t). The object of this paper is to create the software which enables to compute stationary probabilities and to estimate stochastic characteristics of the system which is defined in schematic structure.

Šiame darbe analizuojama funkcijų svarba matematikoje. Atlikta kompiuterinių programų skirtų funkcijoms braižyti analizė. Darbe supažindinama su sukurtos priemonės funkcijų savybių atvaizdavimui paskirtimi, struktūra ir turiniu. Pristatoma sukurta svetainė, kurioje bus talpinama kompiuterinė priemonė. Pateikiama mokinių apklausos rezultatų analizė po priemonės išbandymo. Atlikus darbą padarytos išvados, kad priemonė gali būti naudojama 9 klasės funkcijų savybių mokymui ir mokymuisi. Priemonė pasižymi savybėmis, kurios yra patrauklios mokiniams, pagerinančios žinių įgijimą bei jų tikrinimą, skatina mokytis., The paper analyses the importance of functions in mathematics. The analysis of software used for graphing functions has been performed. The paper presents the purpose, structure and content of a programme designed for graphing the features of the functions. Also a newly made site where the computer programme is going to be hosted is introduced. What is more, the analysis of the results of student survey after the follow-up testing of the programme is presented. The conclusions made after completing the research proved that the programme can be used in order to teach and learn the features of functions in the ninth form. The programme has properties that are attractive to students; this improves knowledge acquisition and examination as well as student motivation to learn.

The dissertation considers the problem of automatic classification of scientific publications. The problem is addressed by using probabilistic methods of the discriminant analysis. The main goal of the dissertation is to create constructive classification methods that would allow to take into consideration specificity of scientific publication text. The dissertation consists of Introduction, 3 chapters, Conclusions, References, list of author's publications, and one Appendix. The introduction reveals the investigated problem, importance of the thesis and the object of research and describes the purpose and tasks of the paper, research methodology, scientific novelty, the practical significance of results examined in the paper and defended statements. The introduction ends in presenting the author’s publications on the subject of the defended dissertation, offering the material of made presentations in conferences and defining the structure of the dissertation. Chapter 1 presents a detailed mathematical formulation of the considered problem, reviews scientific papers on the subject, and analyses a few popular classification algorithms that in Chapter 3 are compared to the ones proposed in this paper. Pagrindinis darbo tikslas - sukurti konstruktyvius klasifikavimo metodus, kurie leistų atsižvelgti į mokslo publikacijų tekstų specifiką. Disertaciją sudaro įvadas, trys pagrindiniai skyriai, rezultatų apibendrinimas, naudotos literatūros ir autoriaus publikacijų disertacijos tema sąrašai ir vienas priedas. Įvadiniame skyriuje aptariama tiriamoji problema, darbo aktualumas, aprašomas tyrimų objektas, formuluojamas pagrindinis darbo tikslas bei uždaviniai, aprašoma tyrimų metodika, darbo mokslinis naujumas, pasiektų rezultatų praktinė reikšmė, ginamieji teiginiai. Statistikoje ir jos taikyme vienas dažniausiai sprendžiamų uždavinių yra daugiamačių tankių vertinimas.Tankių vertinimas skirstomas į parametrinį ir neparametrinį vertinimą. Parametriniame vertinime daroma prielaida, kad tankio funkcija f, apibūdinanti duomenis yi, kai i kinta nuo 1 iki n, priklauso tam tikrai gan siaurai funkcijų šeimai f(•;θ), kuri priklauso nuo nedidelio kiekio parametrų θ=(θ1, θ2, …, θk). Tankis, apskaičiuojamas pagal parametrinį vertinimą, gaunamas iš pradžių apskaičiavus parametro θ įvertį θ0 ir f0=f(•;θ). Toks traktavimas statistiniu požiūriu yra labai efektyvus, tačiau jeigu nei vienas šeimos f(•;θ) narys nėra artimas funkcijai f, rezultatai gali būti gauti labai netikslūs. Neparametriniam tankio vertinimui jokios parametrinės prielaidos apie f nėra reikalingos, tačiau vietoj to daromos kitos prielaidos, pavyzdžiui, apie funkcijos f tolydumą arba, kad f yra integruojama. Tankio funkcijos forma yra nustatoma iš turimų duomenų.Turint dideles imtis, tankis f gali būti apskaičiuotas pakankamai tiksliai. Šiuolaikinėje duomenų analizėje naudojama daugybė neparametrinių metodų, skirtų daugiamačių atsitiktinių dydžių pasiskirstymo tankio statistiniam vertinimui. Ypač plačiai paplitę branduoliniai įvertiniai, populiarūs ir splaininiai bei pusiau parametriniai algoritmai. Taikant daugumą populiarių neparametrinio įvertinimo procedūrų praktikoje susiduriama su jų parametrų optimalaus parinkimo problema. Branduolinių įvertinių konstrukcijos svarbiausiu elementu yra glodinimo plotis, splaininiams įvertiniams nelengva parinkti mazgus ir t.t. Ir nors yra sukurta nemažai adaptyvių minėtų parametrų parinkimo procedūrų, tačiau jos nėra pakankamai efektyvios, kai imties tūris nėra didelis. Pastaruoju atveju tikslinga taikyti duomenų projektavimą, nes parametrų parinkimo uždavinys tuo sunkesnis, kuo didesnė stebimų atsitiktinių vektorių dimensija. Vienas iš būdų mėginti padidinti įverčių tikslumą yra daugiamodalinio tankio analizės suvedimas į vienamodalinių tankių vertinimą, traktuojant tiriamą tankį kaip vienamodalinių tankių mišinį. Siūlome pirmame tyrimų etape imtį klasterizuoti ir po to kiekvieną klasterį atitinkančius skirstinių mišinio komponentus įvertinti atskirai.Klasterizavimas gali būti tiek tikimybinis, tiek geometrinis, tačiau šiame darbe apsiribosime tik pastaruoju. Duomenų klasterizavimui naudojami hierarchiniai ir nehierarchiniai klasterizavimo metodai. Hierarchinio klasterizavimo algoritmai prastai apdoroja išskirtis bei imtis, kuriose labai skiriasi stebinių išsibarstymas įvairiomis kryptimis (dimensijomis). Dėl šios priežasties rezultatai tampa labai priklausomi nuo atstumo tarp klasterių skaičiavimo metodo parinkimo. Kad būtų išvengta šių sunkumų taikomas klasterių sferizavimas. Nors sferizavimas išsprendžia keletą anksčiau minėtų problemų, tačiau jis nesumažina įvertinio jautrumo nuo branduolių skaičiaus, branduolio glodinimo parametrų, imties dydžio parinkimo ir t.t. Šiame darbe Monte Karlo metodu buvo siekiama atlikti įvairių neparametrinių įvertinių tikslumo lyginamąją analizę tuo atveju, kai stebėjimų skirstinio tankis yra daugiamodalinis, ir nustatyti, ar tikslinga tokio tipo tankių vertinime atlikti preliminarų imties suskaidymą į klasterius., Most algorithms work properly if the probability densities of the multivariate vectors are known. Unfortunately, in reality these densities are usually not available, and parametric or non-parametric estimation of the densities becomes critically needed. In parametric estimation one assumes that the density f underlying the data yi where i varies from 1 to n, belongs to some rather restricted family of functions f(•;θ) indexed by a small number of parameters θ=(θ1, θ2, …, θk). An example is the family of multivariate normal densities which is parameterized by the mean vector and the covariance matrix. A density estimate in the parametric approach is obtained by computing from the data an estimate θ0 of θ and setting f0=f(•;θ). Such an approach is statistically and computationally very efficient but can lead poor results if none of the family members f(•;θ) is close to f. In nonparametric density estimation no parametric assumptions about f are made and one assumes instead that f, for example, has some smoothness properties (e.g. two continuous derivatives) or that it is square integrable. The shape of the density estimate is determined by the data and, in principle, given enough data, arbitrary densities f can be estimated accurately. Most popular methods are the kernel estimator based on local smoothing of the data. Quite popular are histospline, semiparametric and projection pursuit algorithms. While constructing various probability density estimation methods the most difficult task is to find optimal parameters, e.g. for kernel algorithm it is a problem to find smoothing parameter, for histospline method difficulty is to produce the points with estimated densities, etc. Even though many papers are written related to this subject and offer various methods for parameters determination but those procedures are not very suitable for small size data. In this case it would be effective to use data projections because the task to choose best fitting parameters becomes more complicated when the dimension of data grows. One of the ways to improve the accuracy of probability density estimation is multi-mode density treating as the mixture of single-mode one. In this paper we offer to use data clustering in the first place and to estimate density in every cluster separately. To objectively compare the performance, Monte Carlo approximation is used for ten types Gaussian mixtures. While using various methods to evaluate the accuracy of probability density estimations we tried to use clustered and not clustered data. In this paper we also tried to reveal the usefulness of cluster preprocessing.

Pagrindinis šio darbo tikslas yra sukurti energijos tiekimo saugumo trikdžių scenarijų matematinį modelį, kuriuo būtų galima modeliuoti įvairių galimų energetinių trikdžių scenarijus. Priklausomai nuo trikdžio sudėtingumo lygio jis gali neturėti visiškai jokios įtakos ir pasekmių arba priešingai – gali turėti labai didelę įtaką ir labai sunkias pasekmes energijos tiekimo saugumui. Todėl energetinio trikdžio įtaka ir pasekmės suskirstomi balais: nuo 0 (nėra pasekmių) iki 5 balų (labai sunkios pasekmės). Nagrinėjama to trikdžio įtaka įvairiems valstybės sektoriams: ekonominiui, socialiniui ir politiniui. Energetinio trikdžio įtaka ir sukeltos pasekmės ekonominiui, socialiniui ir politiniui sektoriams ir suprantamas kaip atskiras scenarijus. Energetiniam trikdžiui buvo suteikti parametrai ir su įvairiais parametrų rinkiniais sumodeliuoti 100 scenarijų. Iš tų scenarijų išrinktas pats tikėtiniausias, nustatyti sunkiausi (kritiniai) bei lengviausi (sukeliantys mažas pasekmes) scenarijai. Taip pat suskaičiuojamos tokių scenarijų tikimybės bei trikdžių pasirodymo tikimybės. Tam naudojami Markovo grandinės bei procesai ir tikimybiniai skirstiniai. The main objective of this paper is to develop a mathematical model of energy supply disturbances for modelling energy supply disturbance scenarios. The level of energy supply disturbance depends on the impact it does to energy security of supply. The level of energy supply disturbance expressible with points: from 0 points (no impact) to 5 points (very heavy impact). It is analysed impact of this disturbance to different sectors of state: economical, social and political. The impact and caused damage of energy supply disturbance to economical, social and political sectors is understandable like a different scenario. Energy supply disturbance depends on different parameters. Scenarios of disturbances were modeled considering three parameters. For comparison there were developed 100 different long term energy supply disturbance scenarios. There were selected most common, most heavy (critical) and easiest scenarios, evaluated such scenarios probabilities and energy supply disturbance probabilities. In thia paper was used Markov chains and processes, probability distributions.

Keliami uždaviniai: GARCH modelių klasės taikymas ilgo periodo finansiniams duomenims: modelių parametrų paieška, jų vertinimas, testavimas ir taikymas. Ilga atmintis sąlyginiame variantiškume yra viena iš empirinių savybių, kurią turi daugelis finansinių laiko eilučių. Viena modelių klasė, kuri atvaizduoja šį elgesį yra vadinama Dalinai Integruotu GARCH (Baillie, Bollerslev ir Mikkelsen 1996). Dalinės integracijos idėją pateikė ir ją pritaikė GARCH struktūrai Granger (1980) ir Hosking (1981). Šiame darbe bus surastos analitinės FIGARCH proceso antros eilės logaritminės tikėtinumo funkcijos išvestinės. Ilgo diapazono priklausomybė bus apskaičiuota parametriniu dalinai integruotu GARCH modeliu. Finansinių laiko eilučių duomenys bus įvertinti GARCH (CGARCH(1), CGARCH(2)) ir FIGARCH(1,d,1)) modeliais maksimalaus tikėtinumo metodu. Taip pat bus sukurtas NASDAQ- NYSE santykinio stiprumo indikatorius bei patikrintos jo panaudojimo sąlygos. Iiustracija yra pateikta 5 akcijų indeksais, 2 valiutų santykiais, aukso bei NNSS duomenims. The paper deals with the problems of applying GARCH model/framework to a long term financial data, the search of the models, their evaluation, testing/validation and application. Long memory in conditional variance is one of the empirical features exhibited by many financial time series. One class of models that was suggested to capture this behavior is the so-called Fractionally Integrated GARCH (Baillie, Bollerslev and Mikkelsen 1996) in which the ideas of fractional integration originally introduced by Granger (1980) and Hosking (1981) for processes of the mean are applied to GARCH framework. In this paper we derive analytic expressions for the second-order derivatives of the log-likelihood function of FIGARCH processes. Long-range dependence is assessed through the parametric fractionally integrated GARCH model. Financial time series data will be estimated Component GARCH (CGARCH(1), CGARCH(2)) and FIGARCH models maximum likelihood method. Also we built NASDAQ- NYSE relative strength indicator and tested its usage conditions. An illustration is provided on 2 exchange rate, 5 stock index, gold and NNSS data.

Šis straipsnis yra diskusinis atsakas į Danguolės Melnikienės straipsnį "Lemos pateikimo ir aiškinimo ypatumai dvikalbio žodyno straipsnyje" (Kalbotyra (3) 57, 2007, 177–185). Jame apžvelgiamos pagrindinės leksikografinės problemos, aprašant lemą. Ypatingas dėmesys kreipiamas į dvikalbių, ypač į dvikalbių frazeologizmų žodynų sudarymo problemas. Siūlomi galimi sprendimo būdai, jau naudojami garsiausiųjų Europos leidyklų praktinėje veikloje. This paper is a discussion response to the article “Lemos pateikimo ir aiškinimo ypatumai dvikalbio žodyno straipsnyje” [The Particularities of Presentation and Explanation of the Lemma in the Entry of a Bilingual Dictionary] by Danguolė Melnikienė (Kalbotyra (3) 57, 2007, 177–185). It overviews the main lexicographical problems of lemma description. Particular focus is shifted towards the problems of compiling bilingual dictionaries, especially bilingual phraseology dictionaries. The paper suggests possible solutions that are already used in the practice of the most outstanding European publishing houses.

Pastaruoju metu aukštas šalies konkurencingumo ir palankus verslo klimatas tapo viena svarbiausių sėkmingos ekonominės plėtros sudedamųjų dalių. Valstybės skiria vis daugiau dėmesio eksportuojamos produkcijos konkurencingumui užsienio rinkose didinti ir verslo sąlygoms gerinti. Šiuo tikslu yra steigiamos specialios institucijos, kuriamos skatinamųjų priemonių programos. Daugybė įtakingų tarptautinių organizacijų, tyrimo centrų ir verslo lyderių stengiasi išmatuoti šalių konkurencingumo lygį, įvertinti jų pažangą šioje srityje. Tačiau reikėtų pripažinti, kad pasaulio konkurencingumo vertinimai dažnai neatspindi ekonominių tendencijų arba joms net prieštarauja. Kyla klausimas, ar iš tikrųjų tarptautinio konkurencingumo rodikliai yra tinkamas ekonominės politikos orientyras siekiant sistemingai gerinti šalies verslo sąlygas. Šis straipsnio tikslas – įvertinti galimus tarptautinio institucijų ir nacionalinių agentūrų konkurencingumo vertinimo metodikų nukrypimus. Analizei buvo pasirinkti du plačiai ekonomikos literatūroje cituojami tarptautiniai tyrimai – Pasaulio banko ir Europos rekonstrukcijų ir plėtros banko verslo klimato vertinimo apžvalgos „Verslas“ (angl. Doing Business) ir Pasaulio ekonomikos forumo „Globalaus konkurencingumo ataskaita“ (angl. Global Competitiveness Report). Be to, straipsnyje buvo panaudotos įmonių vadovų apklausos apie verslo sąlygas, svarbiausios kliūtys skatinant verslo plėtrą ir pritraukiant investicijas Lietuvoje. Tyrimas parodė, kad tarptautinių institucijų vertinimai tik iš dalies atitinka nacionalinę konkurencingumo koncepciją. Straipsnyje buvo pateiktos išvados ir siūlymai, kaip pagerinti verslo klimatą Lietuvoje ir padidinti šalies konkurencingumą. In recent years, the concept of national competitiveness and favourable business environment is broadly associated with economic development. The countries are increasingly paying attention to their competitiveness on global markets by promoting national programs and founding institutions aimed at tackling competitiveness issues. A number of leading international organizations, research institutes and business entities carry out global comparative studies on nation’s competitiveness. However, the global competitiveness ranking results are often inconsistent with economic trends. This raises a question whether the international competitiveness rankings provide a proper guidance for an individual economy in improving the business environment.The paper aims at revealing the factors behind the discrepancies in evaluating a national competitiveness by international institutions and national agents. The analysis is based on the datasets of two influential publications – Doing Business (the World Bank) and Global Competitiveness Report (World Economic Forum). The study was enriched by a questionnaire, specially tailored to assess the most problematic issues in measuring the business and investment environment.The research has shown that the international comparisons only partially correspond to the national perception of competitiveness. The paper also addresses policy insights for enhancing Lithuania’s competitiveness.

Darbo tikslas – sukurti bendrą prieigos tinklo modeliavimo metodiką bei jos programinę realizaciją, atitinkančią šiuos reikalavimus: • n užduotų prieigos tinklo parametrų reikšmių optimalus nustatymas pagal m užduotų prieigos tinklo kokybės apribojimų, kai n ≥ 1, o m ≥ 0; • optimalus stočių koordinačių nustatymas mobiliojo telefono ryšio tinklui; • optimalus stočių koordinačių nustatymas laidinio telefono ryšio tinklui; Darbo pradžioje apžvelgiamos telekomunikacijų sektoriaus užduotys, kurios gali būti sprendžiamos kombinatorinio optimizavimo metodais. Taipogi pristatomi ir suklasifikuojami galimi šių užduočių sprendimo metodai. Tiriamojoje darbo dalyje pristatomas daugiaparametrinis prieigos tinklo optimizavimo algoritmas integruotas su stočių išdėstymo algoritmais. Stočių išdėstymui pateikiami du meta-euristiniai algoritmai: • Skruzdžių kolonijos algoritmas, papildytas lokalios paieškos procedūra; • Genetinis algoritmas, papildytas lokalios paieškos procedūra. Minėtų algoritmų realizacijos skirstomos pagal šias prieigos tinklo ryšio topologijas: • Mobiliojo telefono ryšio tinklui; • Fiksuoto telefono ryšio tinklui. Esminiai darbe pasiekti rezultatai: • Sukurta universali metodika, leidžianti kurti realius prieigos tinklo modelius; • Sukurta šios metodikos programinė realizacija. The created algorithm must fulfill following requirements: • optimal values evaluation of n given network approach parameters with m given network approach quality constrains, where n ≥ 1, o m ≥ 0; • optimal solution for transmitters placement problem in mobile phone network; • optimal solution for transmitters placement problem in fixed phone network; In the beginning of this paper we present a set of telecommunication segment problems which can be solved using combinatorial optimization methods. Also we present a set of combinatorial optimization methods which can be used for solving these problems. Finally we present a graphical classification of analyzed problems and connect it with algorithms which are capable for solving it. In the research part of this paper we present a multi parametric network approach optimization algorithm united with algorithms for placing transmitters. Next we present two Meta heuristics based optimization algorithms: • Ant Colony Optimization algorithm with local search procedure; • Genetic algorithm with local search procedure. Stock prices are dynamic and changing frequently whenever the financial markets are opened. Many people aspire to know where prices are likely to be at future times. One of the basic problems, connected with stock valuation is to create an appropriate model of stock prices dynamics. This paper deals with the stock valuation models, such as binomial, additive, multiplicative, Brownian motion and etc. These models appeals to hypothesis, declaring that returns of stock follows by normal distribution and stock prices by lognormal one. The aim of this work is to test these hypothesis. The research of this paper discloses the basic tendency, announcing that stock is not applicable for a real adaptability of methods in Lithuanian companies because the returns of stock do not follow by the normal distribution. Disputed situation is opposite in companies of the USA. The returns of stocks are calculated by the following ways. They are numbered in the area of MS Excel. In order to review the conditions of normality, the SAS software was chosen. Finally, Delphi 10 programming language was selected for realization of the binomial tree.

Everyone has had the experience of sitting in a traffic jam, or of seeing cars bunch up on a road for no apparent good reason. Nowadays the quantity of vehicles in the Lithuanian cities are growing very fast. The necessity of circumstantial territory analysis emerged for increasing Transportation Systems Control demand. Microscopic traffic flow models are important for analyzing individual crossroads and assessing interaction between some vehicles. In this paper there are analyzed microscopic traffic flow model. In this paper there answered what effect is produced by small differences in the velocities of the cars. And we have that microscopic traffic flow is in stability when kT < 0.5 and not in stability when kT > 0.5. Its very important for modeling microscopic traffic flow model. In this paper there are shown that microscopic traffic flow in K. Mindaugo – Birštono streets has Puasson distribution. There are made microscopic traffic flow simulation model of K. Mindaugo – Birštno streets crossroad by Arena 3.0 program and performed regression analysis for prognosticating microscopic traffic flow queues.

In the present Paper, the term „differential equations“ means systems of differential equations with partial derivatives. A uniform concept of geometry of differential equations does not exist in modern differential geometry. Representatives of different trends in geometry perceive geometry of differential equation in different ways. The theory of compatibility of differential equations and existence of solutions developed by Spenser-Goldsmidt is one of the most „geometrical“ among them. Later it was systematized and extended at the School of Moscow Mathematicians managed by A.Vinogradov (see [1]) and works of mathematicians from other countries [2]. Geometry of differential equations is also found in subjects of Lithuanian geometricians, first of all in investigations carried out by prof. V.Bliznikas and his disciples. The principal object of the said investigations was construction of internal bindings in differential equations. The object of my Paper is an investigation on geometry of one class of systems of normal linear differential equations with partial derivatives. The said class of equations is presented by differential equations of the second order, provided in tangential stratifications of smooth manifolds. In this work we used the profilogramms of surfaces, which were gained after the surface was processed (coarsened) with abrasive paper of 24, 36, 40, 60 and 100 numbers. We assessed fractal dimensions of all profilogramms and founded dependence of fractal dimension on abrasive paper number. We found that the more is the coarse of the surface the smaller is fractal dimension. As we didn’t want to do experiment which ask many resources – we modeled theoretically researched profilogramms–fractals, calculated and modeled dimensions of fractal profilogramms. We created programmable tools for theoretical research: the profilogramms-fractals models of adequate surfaces, also examined fractal dimensions of modeled profilogramms. With every profilogramm which has adequate fractal dimension we modeled the surface and calculated his area. We applied the linear regression model for logarithmic data and founded the interrelation between the area or the surface and fractal dimension.

The present paper analyses the portfolios composed from the shares of some Lithuanian firms. The methods applied to compose and examine the portfolios were those used in foreign countries: the Makowitz model, the Sharpe model, and the randomly composed portfolio. The latter model is the one in which the weight of shares is chosen without reference to any theory. The purpose of the paper is to examine the usefulness of the models in composing the portfolios of investment in the market of Lithuania. Then, the portfolios composed on the basis of different models are compared, and observed in the real market. Consequently, appropriate conclusions are drawn. The shares of the observed firms are selected on the basis of three models, and, then, the portfolios are composed. The best portfolios were those composed from the shares, which were selected using the analysis of costs and the function of usefulness. After the application of the Makowitz model, Sharpe model and the randomly selected portfolio, the comparative analysis was done. It was observed that the portfolios composed on the basis of the Makowitz model have better change and risk characteristics than the portfolios made on the basis of other models. Also, in the respect of change and risk, all the composed portfolios are more effective than the index NSEL 30 used now. The results of empirical tests of the capital asset pricing model (CAPM) are discussed in this paper. A formidable problem here involves setting up an effective method for testing or test methodology. Many conceptual and statistical problems are inherent in tests of capital asset pricing model. It always has to be concerned the possible contaminating effects of the inevitable real-world violations of the model’s assumption. The tests reported in this paper are tests of how well the model fits history. The purpose of this work is to determine whether the CAPM fits the real world and, if it does not, to determine the source and size of the discrepancies between the model and the world. The data of Lithuanian firm’s stocks are used in order to test the model. The asset market of Lithuania is young and unstable. Thus the results are not the best. But recently situation is getting better. It will be shown in this paper that capital asset pricing model could be tested with real data of Lithuanian stock market. The results are quite good. Microsoft Visual Basic 6.3 equipment is used to solve this problem.
